I knew I'd forgotten one, lol. Oh, well. All right, here's an anime question for you. Q: In "Sick Daze," Brock was ill and had to have Ash, Misty, Pineco, and Golbat take care of him. He had several dreams during the course of the day, all pretty much the same thing. The question is, where were the dreams set, and what did he say during them? (Here's a hint: There's three of them, and all the quotes are pretty much the same)

Good Mother of Cabbits... A lot of people have joined since Thursday. Oo Well, I guess I'll post my sign-up now... Name: Mini-Keisha Allegeigance: (pause for dramatic effect) ...Mini-Flash Weapon: Glitter Rod, Long-range whip Magic: Cabbit changer- By using this spell, the attackee will be consumed in a cloud of glitter and changed into a cabbit, who automatically attacks whoever is closest to it. Nine times out of ten, however, it'll more than likely be her... Description: Mini-Keisha looks like your normal plushie. She usually keeps her short brown hair tied back, and wears a little Badtz Maru T-shirt with black jeans. When she gets upset, however, her hair starts to stand on end, and gets a red glow to her eyes. Very scary. Bio: Everyone knows that Mini-Keisha was more of the sarcastic sort in OBB2, and was frequently seen conversing with her human conterpart and Ken. After OBB2 was over, she, Keisha, Ken and Mini-Ken started to hang out and became fast friends. Mini-Keisha then decided to move to Plushieland, but said she'd keep in touch. Upon the first attack Mini-Flash made on the Kingdom of Plush, she was right there with the troops and helped with the fighting. Unfortunately on a charge she was making against a solider, she slipped and hit her head on a rock, and was captured. She soon became one of Mini-Flash's first victims by use of the Evil Plushie Wand. She then helped fight with Mini-Flash's army and apparently turning her evil made her a better fighter, as she quickly moved up in rank. Now, as Mini-Flash's #1 leiutentant, she's not one to be toyed with... -------------------------------------------------------------------- It's perfectly all right that some of you have chosen to be two plushies. Just make sure you can keep up with them. Craig, your sign up is fine. ^^ Just don't keep over and get the key board stuck to your face. Sorry, but it'll have to start Monday. ^_~

Here's where spending all your free time playing video games pays off. Scyther w/ Metal Coat: Scizor Onix w/ Meatl Coat: Steelix Poliwhirl w/ King's Rock: Politoed Slowpoke w/ King's Rock: Slowking Seadra w/ Dragon Scale: Kingdra Porygon w/ Upgrade: Porygon2 Kadabra, Machoke, and Haunter: Alakazam, Machamp, and Gengar respectively. I think there's a Link Cable Evolver I'm missing, but roughly that's about all of them.

Well, since we have a good group of RPers, I'll wait and see if it evens out more on Flashy's side. If no more people sign up, I'll make some plushies up, and go from there. Either way, it'll start tomorrow. Just don't forget.

No. It's only plushie sign-ups. Kennah is special. Of course, if you want to be a human helper who makes a rare cameo, that's fine.

Well, the worst fight I've ever been in wasn't really a fight. There was a girl back in 5th grade who was what can, I guess be referred to as "the head Gangster Girl", and she didn't like me, just because I got better grades than her. One day, I accidentally bumped into her in the cafeteria during breakfast, and I apologized, but she grabbed me by my shirt, and ripped off a couple of buttons. I shoved her off, and the some kids started yelling "Fight!", so the principal and the security guard came running and "separated" us. It was all very dumb....

The kingdom of Plushieland is a peaceful place. Tori, affectionatly known as Miss Queen by her ever loyal subjects. rules over the land with a gentle hand, and is adored by all. All except for one. The evil Mini-Flash. He hates Miss Queen with a passion and has searched for a way to overthrow her for the longest. Now he mgiht have finally found it. It seems as if Mini-Flash has acquired an Evil Plushie Wand. This really evil artifact has the power to turn good, noble plushies into the worst toys since Chucky. He has been attacking various places in Plushieland and kidnapping plushies to build up his evil army. He also has many different leiutenants to watch places and tell him of any happenings. Sadly, some of these plushies include the most loyal of Miss Queen's brood, the ones that were involved in OBBII. Not all of them have bitten the dust, so to speak. There are still a few that have chosen to go up against Mini-Flash once again, along with a few new faces. Together, they hope to save Plushieland and Miss Queen....and kick some Mini-Flash butt in the process. --------------------------------------------------------------------- You can sign up under the allegiance of Miss Queen or Mini-Flash. You can chose to be a plushie from OBBII, unless, of course, they decide to join, then you'll have to be someone else. Those who chose to be evil can sign up as a leiutenant, but I'll only allow around, say, four, so if more people than that sign up as one, best sign up gets it. Also, you have to put "Mini" in front of your name, because....well...you're a plushie. Oo Here's the sign-up sheet: Name: Alleigance: Weapon (if you so chose): Magic (also if you chose): Description: Bio:
Originally posted by Desbreko As for a Pokémon platformer...I don't know. It might be neat, but I can't really see there being all that much too it.
I could. If you could play as a Pokémon rather than a human, that awould be interesting. Encountering other Pokémon and things, going on side-quests, sort of a Zelda-type thing, with Mewtwo as the boss at the end.
Heheh... Good to know I'm not the only one that calls the pound the ground type moves butt stomps, lol. :D
.... Now I've heard everything... Ew...Horrible Snorlax thought....

I do believe you're correct in your assumption, Desy-B. Pokémon the RPG was created by GameFreak, who was then bought by Nintendo. And I do think that the animé was created before the game, as I've read some of the mangas, and I get a feeling it went that way.

I find that weird. Almost all the friends I have are older than me and a lot of them are guys. I only have a few female friends. Guys do tend to be a bit more...I don't know how to say it...I'll just say "out there," but we get along quite well, and I don't see why a guy wouldn't want to be friends with a girl for no reason. It sounds really dumb to me.

Oo TokyoPop plans on putting Disney into manga format? Wow. I never thought I'd see that happen. I can sort of understand how they can do shows like "Kim Possible" and "The Famous Jett Jackson" (if they plan on doing that one, and I'm really going out on a limb here with the believablity for lack of better term), but I can't see it for others. All I can say is, if that's what they want to do, fine, but I won't be buying it.
Originally posted by Crazy White Boy Anime isn't really relevant to academics or anything.
I wouldn't declare that entirely true. Animé, 9 times out of ten, often has much better animation quality that many cartoons are beginning to utilze and has a basis for study, so it would sort of tie into art. ^^ I would be all for an Animé Club at our school. We have a very large amount of animé fans here, and I think that a club would be great. My friends and I have founded one of the very few Animé Clubs in my city, and we have a pretty big member total, so it would be nice if we could see that kind of thing in school. Sort of a "Unity through Animé," lol.

That was horrible, James. lol I've never received a chain letter in real life, but I've gotten many in my e-mail inbox. And it's just one person, that person being my friend in Georgia. I've asked her to stop, as I hate nothing more in the world than junk mail (except maybe Barney, weekend homework, and other things that shall go unnamed), but she keeps sending them. Jeez, I hate those things. I just checkbox them and delete them now.

It's perfectly all right that you took this job, HC. True, this may not be the job you want to do for the rest of your life, but who ever really starts out with that dream job they've always wanted? You've chosen more of a "money now" job, which is certainly understandable, but you can always look for a job you'll truly enjoy. Nothing's stopping you from doing that. Just go with the flow, and if you come across a job you like better, go for it. On another note, I live in Ohio. Where abouts in the East are you?
Originally posted by Valen This is just a spamfest waiting to happen...
For some reason, I have the same feeling, but as long as people reply with wholesome reponses and not stuff like "Oh, yeah! That one's really cool!" and nothing else, I'll keep this open. It may provide some helpful hints about raising the particular Pokémon and such for other people. I've found Haunter to be a very valuable Pokémon, as it was the one I used to capture the Johto Dogs. Haunter's ability to learn good Psychic and Ghost moves, as Valen mentioned, is really great. It is true that Gastly, Haunter, and Gengar are the only Ghost Pokémon worth capturing, no one need forget about Misdreavus. ^^; To e honest, I haven't used Haunter outside of the Legendary thing, as Ghost and Poison Pokémon aren't my style, but it is good, none-the-less.

I do believe he was trying to be very kind and answer my question about who the "Quiet One" is that Marik is about to send out on Yami. I knew that was Arkana's real name, as I've got DDS for the GBA. It has some people from Battle City on it, like the Rare Hunter, who they named Seeker, and Arkana, who kept his Japanese name. Edit: Thanks for your help. I'll be looking forward to this duel now, given the name.
-
I saw those three eps this morning. I do believe Marik called him Odion, but I may be mistaken. It's 2:20 now and I have the world's worst short-term memory... The duel wasn't all that. There were some lagging points, but I liked it when
Yami brought out the Dark Magician Girl.
The look in Arkana's eyes was trippy. But to be truthfully honest, I much prefered the dialouge between Marik and Yugi afterward. They finally got it out in the open that Ishizu and Marik are siblings and such. Also, you really got to see Marik's face in this ep, which was pretty good. I'm just wondering who the heck this "Quiet One" is...

We used to have an easy-to-bypass Novell system, but we got a new one called WebWasher this year. It's not exactly very strict, as it lets me access theOtaku.com and here, but it does block other things that are quite dumb, like an image galllery related to 14th Century art and other things. It's quite annoying.
-
Whoo! Okay... A simple one: When Yugi was dueling the dark part of Kaiba, what monster did he use to transfer energy to the Blue Eyes he revived, and what was the final total the Dragon's Attack Points?
-
I'm gonna feel really dumb if I get this wrong, 'cause I just saw that ep. I think it was his Axe Raider.
-
What in the hell.... That's got to be the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Who actually bans dancing? I mean, I can understand if the people are really drunk and going around disturbing other patrons and wrecking things, but not just outright banning for the hell of it. But if they need this "entertainment license" in order to avoid fines, why don't they just get it? I mean, they may have the signs and all the other warnings up and things, but you have to take the fact that you have people who are drinking and doing other things that hinder judgement into account. They should just go ahead and legalize it and make it a lot easier on everyone.
-
I severely doubt that there's any type of completed list out yet, as Nintendo hasn't even debuted the rest of them, but they have released some with their English names, which you can check out at pokemon.com.
-
Oo Whoa...I so read that question wrong... Kaiba's Ultimate Dragon got knocked down to 900 points when he was dueling against Yugi. (Or Yami, depending on how you look at it.)

WHOOOO!!!! I won! ^_______^ Everyone I talk to on AIM said I'd probably win. They were my good luck charms. *hugs everyone* Of course, I have to thank everyone that voted for me, otherwise I wouldn't have won. *hugs everyone who voted for her* Thankees!

I have to agree with Zidane on this one. The best thing to do is sit him down and tell him exactly how you feel about it. An uncomfortable friendship isn't really a friendship at all to me, but that's just my opinion...
