*sniff sniff* I won't be able to do this when I go into the house. Might as well get one in now. 1) Use a Paralyzcure Berry. 2) Use Heal Bell. 3) Use Rest. Q: At what level do all baby Pokémon that don't evolve due to happiness factor evolve?

I'm so happy I got in. I can't wait until it starts. ^^

Cursing at a teacher is wrong, be it for a good reason or not. Teachers here at my school are often told what they can do with their homework and detentions, but sometimes the kid may have a good reason in their mind to curse at them, just as you thought you did. You should have done what Son Goten said, and waited until after class to discuss the problems you had with the way she taught. Acting ignorant gets you nowhere PDQ.

Yes, I think a Quiz would do the forum some good. Do go on. Or I can start us off.

If I were her, I would wait until I finished my schooling and got a very secure job before I even thought about having a child. After that, I would make sure that my husband has a good attitude around children, that we both have the patience, and that we both are prepared for all the things that come with parenthood- the 3:00 am feedings, the crying, the changing of the diaper every half-hour. It's not a walk in the park to raise a child. She needs to sort out her priorities first before doing anything.

Nurse Joy led Rayne to the treatment area of the Center. There were many Pokémon back there that had been treated and were trying to rest comfortably, but there was a lot of commotion near the back where three Blissey had their hands full with a very agitated Marowak. Rayne: This is the Pokémon thats been giving you trouble? Nurse Joy: Yes. This Marowak was broughten here by a trainer a few days ago. When we treated it, it was perfectly fine. The trainer said she'd return in an hour or two for it. When the Marowak woke up three hours later, the trainer was nowhere to be found. I sent Officer Jenny to go looking for the girl, but she came back and told me she had left the same day. Rayne: So it's been abandoned......how horrible.... Nurse Joy: Yes, it is. Ever since, we haven't had a peaceful moment. It was obviosly very attached to its trainer. Rayne: Let me see if I can talk to it. Nurse Joy: You can speak Marowak? Rayne: I can. I've heard that people around here don't think it's possible, but it is. Took me a good year to learn it, though. Rayne walked over to the screaming Marowak and asked the Blissey to stand by just in case it wanted to start using Thrash. Rayne: (in Marowak) Hello, there. My name's Rayne. What's yours? Marowak: My name is Clubb, and I don't wish to speak with you. I want Mindi! Rayne: Mindi? Was she your trainer? Clubb: "Was?" What do you mean "was?" Mindi is my trainer, and I want to see her! Rayne: Well, Clubb, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Mindi left the day she brought you here. You've been abandoned. Clubb: Lies! All lies! Mindi would never abandon me! Rayne: Well, she has. Nurse Joy sent Officer Jenny to look for her, and her records showed that she left the same day. Look. Rayne handed Clubb the paper Nurse Joy had handed her earlier before she'd battled Clarke. Clubb snatched it from her and began scanning it. One of the many misconceptions of people is that they think Pokémon can't read Human. This, of course, is completly false. In fact, many Pokémon can read better than humans, especially Psychics. Clubb: This says Mindi left. But why? Rayne: She may have felt that you weren't up to par with her standards. Don't feel bad. I'll tell you what. If you'd like, you can come with me on my journey. Clubb: Really? Maybe we can find her. Rayne: Fine. Your mine now. (in Human) Nurse Joy? It's alright now. Clubb's coming with me.

Rayne: Vaporeon, jump! Vaporeon quickly jumped high just as Shadow was closing in with its Faint Attack. The Umbreon looked confused and began to look for its quarry as its elusive attackee sailed above it. Rayne: Vaporeon, let's finish this! Skull Bash! Now! Vaporeon went ramrod straight, totally vertical with its head pointing downwards toward Umbreon. Then it started to plummet, slow at first, but gaining speed as it fell farther down, closing in on the clueless pure-Dark type Pokémon. Clarke: Ah! Shadow! But it was too late. Vaporeon connected with Shadow, right in its back. Both Vaporeon and Shadow let out a cry as the two met. A cloud of dust rose around the two Pokémon from the sheer force of the assault. When the dust settled, however, Vaporeon was standing over the fainted Umbreon, looking at it with pure pity. Nurse Joy: Umbreon is unable to battle! Vaporeon is the winner! This match goes to Gym Leader Rayne! Clarke: Oh, no....... Rayne: You fought a great battle. I'll admit. That was a cheap trick, that last move. Clarke: No, it was stratagey. Rayne: I feel it was wrong of me to do that, so...... I award you with the Lovelybadge. Congrats. Clarke: But-- Rayne: Take it. You deserve it. Nurse Joy, can you show me that Pokémon now? Nurse Joy: Yes! Of course! As Rayne and Nurse Joy walked off to see the Pokémon, Clarke and Kitty looked after them, completely confused.....

Our Spirit Week is next week here. I can't wait for it to be over! Junior Board (which I'm a part of) has to throw the Homecoming dance, in it's entirety. We have to buy the decorations, put them up, make the tickets, sell the tickets (which I'm stuck doing during my lunch period), set up the picture section in the auditorium (another thing I'm stuck with doing), take it down after 11:00, sell all the refreshments, and take everything else down after the dance is over, and it ends at midnight. I'm going to be so wiped the next morning and I have to go to work. Unfourtunatly, I can't get out of it because it's mandatory. And all that's after the stupid theme days, which stay the same every year: Monday-Hat Day Tuesday-70's Day Wendsday-Twin Day Thursday-Backwards Day Friday- School Colors Day and Pep Rally (which we have to clean up after) I hate Spirit Week.

Rayne: Right. Go! Rayne threw two Pokéballs onto the field. They opened to reveal a Scizor and Vaporeon. Rayne: For this match, I choose Scizor and Vaporeon. Nurse Joy: This is an official Gym Battle for a Lovelybadge. Gym Leader Rayne from Kindnes City with Scizor and Vaporeon versus Challenger Clarke from Mist Grove with Umbreon and Corsola. There is no set time limit. Let the battle begin! Rayne: Vaporeon, charge Corsola with a Headbutt! Clarke: Shard, counter with a Spike Cannon! The Vaporeon rushed the Corsola furiously, aiming to send it flying back to its trainer. The Corsola's reef-like antlers began to glow and then began firing multiple shots straight at Vaporeon, who was too far into the attack to retreat. It was hit hard and sent somersaulting back to Rayne's side of the field. It quickly recovered from the shock and stood ready to begin another attack. Rayne: Vaporeon, try an Ice Beam! The Vaporeon opened its mouth and began to spray what looked like a Water Gun, but was its own form of the feared Ice Beam attack. It hurtled rapidly towards the fierce-looking Corsola, ready to freeze it solid. Clarke: Now, Shard! Use Mirror Coat! A shield of transparent pink light enveloped the Corsola, which protected it from all Special attacks, including Vaporeon's Ice Beam, but Rayne was prepared for that. Rayne: Go, Scizor! Attack with your Headbutt! Like a red lightning bolt, the Scizor quickly flew to carry out its command. It flew straight through the Corsola's Mirror Coat and hit it hard, sending it tumbling backwards. Clarke: Shard! Rayne: I knew you would put up a Mirror Coat when I used that Ice Beam, so I attacked with Scizor. Remember, this is a tag-team battle. Clarke: Yeah, I remember, all right. Shadow, get ready to attack!

Rayne and Clarke had walked back to the battlefield in the Pokémon Center and had taken thier places at opposite sides of the field when Rayne felt something in her pocket. It was an extra Lovelybadge that she had taken with her from the Gym when she'd left. Rayne: Hey, Clarke! I found a Lovelybadge that I brought with me. Why don't we make this a Gym battle? My Gym Leader qualifications don't expire until next week. Clarke: Okay, sure. I'm up for it. Rayne: Right. This will be a two-on-two tag team battle for a Lovelybadge. Nurse Joy, do you mind judging the battle? Nurse Joy: No, I don't mind. The Center is usually quiet this type of morning. This is a tag team battle, correct? Rayne: Yes. We can get started as soon as Clarke chooses the two Pokémon he's battling with. I've chosen mine already.

Rayne had woken up from her nap a bit early. (She wasn't as tired as she thought she had been.) She heard Nurse Joy talking to someone in the main room of the Pokémon Center, so she went to investigate. She saw a boy around her age sleeping in a chair. She walked over to him to get a closer look. Rayne: Hmmm. Wonder where he came from.... *poke* Clarke:  Rayne: Hey, you. *pokes him harder* Clarke: Huh.....? Nurse Joy? Rayne: Uhh...no. My name's Rayne. What's your's? Clarke: Clarke. Why? Rayne: Just trying to make conversation is all. Clarke: Oh. Well, uh, I'm from Mist Grove. Where are you from? Rayne: Kindnes City. Clarke: Kindnes City? I heard of a Gym Leader named Rayne that lives there. Rayne: Not anymore. I was the Kindnes City Gym Leader, but I left to learn more about Pokémon so I can become a better breeder. Clarke: Hey wow! I bet can get better if I battle you! I chall-- Oh. wait. Nurse Joy still has my Pokémon. Nurse Joy: Not anymore. I have your Pokémon too, Rayne. Here you go. *hands Clarke his Pokéballs and Rayne her three.* Clarke: Great! Okay, will you battle me? Rayne: Okay. But we can't take too long. I have some work to do here. There's a battlefield in the back. Follow me, I know the way.

I've never used GameShark or cheats on my game except for the MissingNo cheat in Red, but that was only because I was curious. I do think that it would be kinda boring to just use the cheats to get through the game, seeing as how that defeats the purpose of the game. It's supposed to be a challenge to see if you can win, even if you don't have the right Pokémon. I'd never use cheats to get through the game.

Rayne and Vaporeon had been running for a while now, and were getting pretty tired, but they were happy to see the bright lights of Houndoom Valley just 10 yards off in the glare from the rising sun. Houndoom Valley wouldn't really strike one as a valley. It really resembled Goldenrod City in its size and big city-likeness. There were skyscrapers, cars and people everywhere. Sorta like a certain city that never sleeps..... Rayne: Well, we finally made it, Vaporeon! Vaporeon: Vaporeon! Vaaaa..... (Yeah, finally! My poor paws.....) Rayne: Well, let's get to the Pokémon Center. C'mon. Vaporeon: Vaporeon, vapor...... (Beloved epsom salt, I'm coming....) Rayne and Vaporeon walked along the streets of Houndoom Valley and found the Pokémon Center in no time. Their being so tired spurred them a lot. Nurse Joy: Rayne! I thought something had happened to you! You said you'd be here last night at the latest! Rayne: I know, Nurse Joy, but the trip took longer than I thought. Plus, we were detained around Steel City. Nurse Joy: Oh, that's right. That big Flying Pokémon capturing competition is supposed to be starting there soon, isn't it? Rayne: Yeah. There's a lot of trainers gathered there already, even though the competition doesn't start for two days. I plan on going myself when I'm done here. Well, before we go see the Pokémon you wanted me to take a look at, can we rest a bit? We've been traveling all night, and we're wiped. Nurse Joy: Of course. I'll run a quick physical on your Pokémon while you rest. Blissey, can you take Rayne to the spare beds? Blissey: Blissey! (Of course!) Rayne: *hands Nurse Joy her Pokéballs* Thanks. I really appreciate it. Be good, Vaporeon. Blissey led Rayne to a spare bed, which Rayne immediately collapsed into. As she began to fall asleep, she wondered what Pokémon could be giving Nurse Joy so much trouble.....

We're just detained.. Let's pretend we were never there......
:bluesweat None taken. But I'm sorry about that. I'll just rewind and pretend that never happened.... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Rayne was sleeping in the forest with Quilava beside her, when she woke up. Rayne: Hey, Quilava. Wake up. Quilava: Quil....? (Wha....?) Rayne: Let's get going. I can't sleep anymore, and we really need to get to Houndoom Valley to help Nurse Joy. Quilava: Quilava! (But I'm tired!) Rayne: I know you're tired, but we should get going. Quilava: Quilava quil quilav. (You said you were afraid to travel at night.) Rayne: I know, but with you with me-- Quilava: Quil! Quilava. Quilav quil quilav. (Ha! I told you. I'm tired, and I'm going back to sleep.) Quilava then nuzzled Rayne's belt, hit the receiver button on it's Pokéball, and went inside. Rayne: Mean! Oh well. I'll just have Vaporeon walk with me. Rayne pulled another Pokéball out of her belt, and threw it, calling Vaporeon to come out. Vaporeon: Vaaaaaa! Rayne: Hey, Vaporeon. Vaporeon: Vaporeon. Vapor. (Hey, Rayne. Long time, no see.) Rayne: I know. Ready to do some traveling with me? Vaporeon: Vapore? (Where's Quilava?) Rayne: That lazy bum? Sleeping in his Pokéball. Let's go, shall we? *starts walking* Vaporeon: *starts walking also* Vap. Vaporeon? (Oh. Where we goin'?) Rayne: Houndoom Valley. Vaporeon: Vaporeon! Vapor! (Alright! They have great water there!) Rayne: Then let's get there quick so you can have plenty of swimming time. Rayne and Vaporeon started running down the path to Houndoom Valley, looking forward to a great time.....

Rayne and Quilava (who had a big red fan mark on his head from where Rayne had gotten him back) were resting in the forest, slightly off the road to Houndoom Valley, when they heard people talking. Rayne: *moans* Don't they know people are trying to sleep?! Rayne got up, and walked in the direction of the noise. She came through the bushes and saw a Pokémon battle going on. Then she felt something brush her leg, and she started screaming. All activity stopped and everyone stared at her. She looked down fearfully, expecting a Spinarak, and saw it was Quilava. Rayne: DARN IT, QUILAVA!! Why'd you do that?! Quilava: Quillava, Quil? (Payback's something else, isn't it?) Rayne: Oh! You-- Tris: Hey! You with the Quilava! Rayne: Uhh...Who me? Samanouske: Yes, you. Who are you? And what's with the screaming? Rayne: Could ask you the same thing. ...Except for the screaming part.

But during the week, they had them back on the mainland helping Morty save Ecruteak from a swarm of angry Bug and Grass Pokémon because Team Rocket stole and broke one of the Crystal Bells from Burned Tower. Luckily, Suicune made an appearance and saved the town.

I love CSI: Vegas! Grissom is pretty cool, but it's too bad he's losing his hearing. I forget what the name of the disease is that's causing it. But I've come to like Greg (the guy who analyzes the evidence) the best. I've always had something for comic relief guys. I haven't seen Miami, but it's probably not as good. I saw the previews on the the preview show CBS had on the Sunday before everything premiered, and it didn't catch my eye. To me, nothing will be better than the original CSI:-wise.

Rayne was walking along the path to Houndoom Valley, the home of the Pokémon Storage Center, when she decided to take a break. Rayne: *sigh* It seems like I've been walking forever! I need a break. Maybe Quilava wants out too. Rayne pulled her prize Pokémon's Pokéball from her belt, and opened it. Out came a fierce-looking Quilava. It was a little bigger than normal on all accounts, including it's head and back fire, a sure sign of good training. Quilava: Quilll! Rayne: Hey, how's it goin'? Quilava: Quil. Rayne: Yeah, I guess it is kinda cramped in there. Go ahead and stretch out. Run a little. We're not goin' anywhere for a while. The Quilava nodded and trotted off into the bushes. Rayne reached in her pocket and pulled out what appeared to be a make-up compact, but it was actually a digital map. Rayne: From what I can tell, I'm still about 10 miles away from Houndoom Valley, and it's turning dusk. *sigh* Guess I'll have to stay here for tonight and get there tomorrow. Oh, man. I told Nurse Joy I'd be there by tonight at the latest! But there's no way I'm walking around out here at night. *shivers* Creepy. Hey, Quilava! Can you find some dry timber for a fire?! Quilava: Quil! Quilava! Rayne: What do you mean "Do it yourself, I'm busy?!" Quilava: Quilav.... Rayne: I'm not lazy! Fine, I'll get it myself. As Rayne went off to find some firewood, she muttered under her breath about how she wasn't lazy and how to get back at her Quilava for saying that about her....
Originally posted by starlight no I meant that considering that I signed up as a gym leader do we have more than one pokemon (im not talking about just made up ones) considering that position?
Oh, that's what you meant. Of course you have more than one Pokémon. You're a Gym Leader! Nefertimon, you may only have up to three made-up Pokémon, so when you choose the three you are using, you can join the thread. Also, I would have prefered that you had chose one of the cities that is is Suunara, not Kanto, but since you provided a decent backstory, I'll let it slide. Also, I didn't make a Dream Badge, so you'll have to be a Trainer or the Yami Town Gym Leader if you still want in. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Name: Rayne Shimino Age: 16 Starter: Quilava Description: 5'10", long white hair, pale blue eyes. Wears a baby blue T-shirt and black capris with black slipper-like shoes. Bio: Rayne is an odd sort of person. She's very touchy, but only to people who make a bad first impression on her. She loves Water Pokémon, but chose Cyndaquil as her first Pokémon because she liked the look of it. They've been together ever since Rayne was 10, and she has trained Cyndaquil to reach the best of its abilities and watched it evolve into her current Quilava. Rayne is studying to be a Pokémon breeder, and is very good as of now, but there is still much she has to and wants to learn. She's also a great Pokémon trainer. She was the Kindnes City Gym Leader, but decided that she couldn't learn what she wanted to being a Gym Leader, so she left the job to her sister, Hirashi, and left to study Pokémon and become an even better trainer. Hometown: Kindnes City Gym Leader/Trainer: Trainer You all can go look for the thread now.

I used to be in the Kiddy Kat Choir (following the theme of our school's mascot) when I was in 4th and 5th grade. I was a Soprano. I still like to sing now, and I may occasionally sing some of my favorite songs off the radio, but I don't like it as much as I used to.
Originally posted by SuruBlu um, im thinking about joining as a gym leader, but, how many pokemon can we have starting as gym leaders? and what level can we start at, fully evolved or not?
All trainers and Gym Leaders can only have six Pokémon total. All other Pokémon captured after the max limit has been atained are sent to the computerized Pokémon Storage Center in Houndoom Valley and can be accessed from any Pokémon Center and the Pokéball Transport Pads located in the lobbies of all Gyms. If your Pokémon is a Basic Pokémon, it can evolve after being in five battles, be they Wild or Trainer battles. Your Pokémon can also learn new moves every two battles. If it's a new move, you have to describe it, and it can't be all powerful. If it's something that can make a Pokémon faint with one hit, it must have an accuracy of 60% or lower. Levels don't matter, only skill and a knowlegde of Type Match-ups. If you don't know them, PM me. To answer your question, starlight, if you start out with a made-up Pokémon, you aren't allowed any more, but if you start with one that already exists, you may catch or receive up to three more made-up Pokémon. There are special events that happen in certain cities that can give you special items that I'll tell you about at certain times, so read my posts when you check the thread. In most, both Trainers and Gym Leaders may participate if they so choose, but some will allow only Trainers to enter. If you are in a city like Kindnes City, but the event is in Houndoom Valley, you must have a Flyer take you there in order to enter. If no more people sign-up by tomorrow, I'll make up some Gym Leaders for the other cities and the thread will start. Another thing. This isn't a group RPG, but you can join up with other trainers and travel together if you want.

Everyone knows the two regions of the Pokémon world, Kanto and Johto, right? But what if I were to tell you that there's another region know one has heard of? Where there are some Pokémon that no person has ever heard of that lives outside this isolated land? This is how it is in the region of Suunara. New Pokémon, new badges, new rules. And you are a trainer there, starting out your journey to be the Suunara Leauge Champion. The road will be tough, but you'll survive.......or will you? -------------------------------------------------- Okay, this is the thing. I need five Gym Leaders to hold these five badges in these five cities: Shadow Badge- Yami Town Ocean Badge- Ocean Spray City Lovely Badge- Kindnes City Titanium Badge- Steel Town Shine Badge- Bright Town If more than five people sign up to be Gym Leaaders, I'll pick the five that have the best sign-up. The rest will have to be trainers. If you choose to be a Trainer, you can have a Pokémon you make up to be your starter, but you can't have anymore. Trainers who don't have a made-up Pokémon as their starters can have three (and only three) made-up Pokémon. The rules on made-up Pokémon are that it must be a type that exists, and it can have one made-up move, but you'll have to describe this move. These same rules also apply to Gym Leaders. Here's the sign-up sheet: Name: Age: Starter: Starter Description (if made-up): Your Description: Bio: Hometown*: Gym Leader(and badge)/Trainer: *Hometowns you can choose from: Any of the Gym Leader cities, Mist Grove, Blade City, or Houndoom Valley. After everyone signs up (if anyone does), I'll post the final details and then we can start.
