I wish I were that lucky on my Silver. I used almost every ball I had to catch Lugia, but I was lucky on my Yellow. I froze Mewtwo with my Blastoise's Ice Beam on the first try and caught it with a Great Ball.

I found out on CNN that she was charged with involuntary manslaughter. I don't believe that she's been sentenced yet.

If you have questions about the show, take Aries' advice and run a search at Yahoo! or someplace, or post the question in an existing thread. Creating new threads for something that already exists is annoying and wastes space.
Originally posted by chester :D DUH! 10 Dummy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is spam, rude, and inaccurate. Aries is right, though, you can find this out on fansites, but I'll tell you here. To enter the Duelist Kingdom, you need two Star Chips. (I believe the guards were forced to make an exception in Joey's case) Ten Star Chips are needed to enter Pegasus' Castle and the quarterfinals of the tournament. This is what happened in the show to my recollection, though it could be different in the manga. chester, I suggest that you be more careful of what you post in the future, as if you keep going that way you'll find yourself banned.
Originally posted by Desbreko Why would you need two fire type attacks? Seems a waste to fill two move slots with attacks that are basically the same. For a fire type attack, I like Flamethrower; Fire Blast is just too inaccurate.
That's true. Like Hyper Beam, Fire Blast doesn't live up to it's hype....most of the time. True, it may be the most powerful, but like it is with all the most powerful elemental moves, the accuracy leaves something to be desired. Look: Fire Blast Power: 120 Accuracy: 95% (It may seem good, but in battles you need to win, it's frustrating to see it miss, especially if it's a kamikaze move) Special Effect: May cause burn (30% of the time) Thunder Power: 120 Accuracy: 70% (This speaks for itself. The only way to make it any good is to make you Pokémon learn Rain Dance, which in all honesty wastes a spot) Special Effect: May cause paralysis (30% of the time) Blizzard Power: 120 Accuracy: 70% (Same as with Thunder except that you need to use Mind Reader or Lock-On to make it hit 100% of the time) Special Effect: May cause freezing (30% of the time, unless opponent has used Sunny Day) All in all, the best elemental moves really aren't the best. It's they're less powerful, but better in the long run, counterparts, Flamethrower, Ice Beam, and Thunderbolt.

The group walked into the hotel with Botan slightly behind when to there surprise they saw Tani sitting in the lobby. Tani: I was wondering when you all would decide to show up. Cara: And where exactly have you been? Tani: To a resource in the Spirit Realm. A place called Demon Square. I got some useful info there. Kain: And how exactly did you do that? Tani: *smiles* I have my ways. Now do you want the info or not? All: Yes! Tani: Okay, okay. Don't have to yell. Look, it's like this. Sinaki, that's the main guy that knows everything that goes on in Demon Square. He's a Shadow Demon, so he gets around. Anyway, two nights ago, he overheard two lackeys that work for a lady named Shimati Arimora talking about a big job, and some sort of gem that would take them all to the top that they were going to steal from the storage center at Koenma's. Sinaki didn't pay it any mind, thinking they couldn't get past security, and no jewel could get somebody absolute power. Botan: So, a woman named Shimati Arimora stole the Jewel? Tani: That's my assumption. And according to this little gizmo I picked up, she isn't here in Tokyo. Botan: Isn't that a Spirit Energy Locator? I've got one here, but it's not picking up anything. Tani: I kinda tweaked this one a little bit. It goes a farther distance and picks up the slightest trace of Energy. Hayato: Well, where is she now? Tani: Not too far away. She's in Osaka. I suggest we get some rest, and head there in the morning to investigate. I've already got all of us some rooms. The unlikely group went up to their rooms for a good night's rest, not knowing that they were being tailed by one of the most feared assasins in Spirit Realm......

Little Flute San is right. The first time Goten appears is in the Great Saiyaman saga. The ep called "Gohan Goes to High School" I believe.
Originally posted by Dark_Apocalyps Oh yeah! Get rid of Poison Powder and give something like Giga Drain. And keep Hyper beam! It is a strong attack and Fly isn't.
Really like I said before, HB doesn't live up to its hype at all. Sure, it's base damage is 150 to my recollection, but it doesn't have 100% accuracy and afterwards your Pokémon has to sit out a turn. This could really mess you up seeing as your opponent gets a free hit and usually HB doesn't knock out most Pokémon with one hit. Fly, Strength, Body Slam and even Return are better in the long run if the right items are attached. HB is just a show move in my opinion.

Koenma: Oh! I see now! Okay, you all can go now. Kain: Well, where is she? Koenma: You don't have to worry. She explain when she meets up with you all later. She's perfectly fine. Now go on and get on with your mission!

I'll probably go and see Lilo & Stitch eventually, but the movies I really want to see are MIB II, Master of Disguise, and Halloween Resurrected (I don't know why. I'm scared to death of Mike Myers movies. :nervous: )
Originally posted by coolmon This is actually ideas for future pokemon, but I'm planning to do this anyway. Ursaring Rest Sleep Talk Thrash Crunch Bitter Berry/Mint Berry Dragonite Hyper Beam Outrage Extreme Speed(I'm using crystal, so it's possible) Fire Blast uhh........ Bellossom Morning Sun Sunny Day Solar Beam Poision Powder Miracle Seed Espeon Psychic Bite ??? ??? Dark Glasses Gengar Perish Song Mean Look Shadow Ball Psychic ??? And can anyone help me with a good one here?
Ursaring: I like that you put in a Rest/Sleep Talk combo. It's really nice that you can both heal, be asleep, and still attack. I would suggest keeping a Mint Berry attached. Dragonite: Get rid of Hyper Beam. It's not all it's cracked up to be. Try replacing it with Fly. And if you're going to have an elemental move, I would suggest Ice Beam. It would give you an advatage over Ground, Grass, Rock, and other Dragon-types, plus it's got 100% accuracy and a high attack strength, so it's a good deal. And also, if you have Outrage, attach a Bitter Berry since after that 2-5 turn attack, your Pokémon becomes confused. Bellossom: Change Poisonpowder to Sleep Powder. Espeon: I would suggest putting Psych Up and Morning Sun in the open slots. With an Espeon, you won't be mad you did. Gengar: Wow, I'm used to seeing the Perish Song/Mean Look combo on Smoochums. It's a nice attack combo when you're desperate. It's good. Attach Focus Band for a chance it won't faint when you use it. Otherwise, attach Spell Tag. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Nice team. :ball:

After a short while, Botan, Tani and Hayato arrived at Koenma's office. Tani looked over her new "partners" and slowly shook her head. Tani: Look, Koenma. Are you sure that we have nothing to go on here? I mean, there's no way I can start anywhere unless I go to....never mind. And does your father even know about this? Koenma: *sweatdrop* Ahahaha! Well, no. And I'd appreciate if you didn't tell him. You know what would happen. Hayato: Could someone fill all of us in on the details? Tani: *irritated sigh* Look, this is what we know now. Don't worry, it isn't much to remember. A thief somehow slipped past security two nights ago and stole the Jewel of Darkness from storage. We don't have any idea who it is nor how they got past security. Cara: What exactly does this "Jewel of Darkness" thing do anyway? Tani: Well this "Jewel of Darkness" thing has the power to take all the Spirit Energy from any mortal and transfer it into the user. Koenma: How did you know that? I've never told you. Tani: Did a little digging last night. Blame Jorge. He let me into the classified files. Anyway, you never answered my question earlier. Have we come up with anything new? Koenma: As a matter of fact.... Tani: Yeah? Koenma: No. All: *fall over* Tani: Then it looks like I'll have to go there after all. Botan: You don't mean the..... Tani: Yeah. You guys should go off to the Human Realm and try to formulate a plan of some sort. Botan, you go with them. Most of them are humans, so they can be affected by the Jewel's power. Tani walked out of the room with everyone looking after her except for Botan, when Kain asked what was on everyone's mind. Kain: Where's she goin'?

I remember when those shows used to come on. All That, Ahhh! Real Monsters!, The Secret World of Alex Mack, Are You Afraid of the Dark, Legends of the Hidden Temple. But especially The Angry Beavers. Those shows ruled. Daggit was so funny. I don't watch Nick anymore, though. Not since CN came to me. But it is kinda sad that they would show those kind of shows on Nickelodeon, even if it is on TeeNick.

I just finished reading the last book of the Akira series. That was sort of a messed up ending. I won't ruin it for people who've never seen the movie (like myself) or read the manga, but that was freaky in the end.

Tani was standing in front of a very worried Koenma who was ranting on about how the Human Realm will be destroyed if the artifact wasn't returned soon, being bored out of her skull. Koenma: This is just horrible! That jewel has the power to cause universal chaos! You have got to get it back! Tani: Don't worry, Koenma. I'll get it back. What do we know about who stole it? Koenma: Nothing! Tani: What? Nothing? What do you mean nothing?! Koenma: Exactly what I said! Somehow the thief evaded all our ways of identifying intruders. Tani: Great. So I don't even know who I'm going after. Koenma: Right. You all will have some work ahead of you. Tani: You all? You mean I have a partner?! Koenma: Partners. Plural. There's no way you can do this job by yourself. Whoever stole the Jewel of Darkness is very powerful and a master thief to get past our security system. Tani: *mutter*This is some.....ugh. Well, who are they? And why aren't they here? Koenma: Hehe! See, that's the thing! Heh heh! Uhh, you need to go to the Human Realm and find them! Here's the list of names and addresses! Tani: You have got to be kidding. *sigh* I guess I'd better get going then. *mutter* Faster I find'em, faster I can get rid of'em. Koenma: Oh and Tani, take this concealer. Can't have you just walking around like that. Tani: Yeah, yeah. Whatever. As Tani went off to the Human Realm to find her new partners, the thief was silently watching, waiting to see what new adversaries she had to face......new adversaries she had to kill.

That's sad. Almost everything on this list applies to me. Oh well, here's some I thought of: 76.) You know Gatomon means Catmon in Spainish. 77.) When you see roses in a flower shop, you pick one up and try to turn it into a whip. 78.) Your entire wardrobe centers arouund your favorite anime. 79.) You jump off a pier sitting on oar trying to fly.

Name: Tani Shimata Age: 16 Race: Cat Demon Special Ability: Dragon Blast Destroyer- A large amount Spirit energy is gathered at the hands and fired, taking the shape of a dragon that can follow enemy movement for a certain amount of time. Sorta like an ultra Bombchu in dragon form. Bio: Tani used to be a thief that was following in the footsteps of one Youko Kurama in her career. She was making quite a name for herself stealing some of the most valuable things in Maikai. Everything was going good for her, until one day, she made fatal mistake and got caught. In order not to be imprisoned by Koenma, she became a Spirit Detective and has been for the past two years. She's very good at her job and she enjoys taking down the people she once called "ally," but she still has a longing for her career as a thief to come back to her somehow. She just might get her chance with this mission. Apperance: Tall, about 5'11". Bores a strong resembalence to a cougar, but with pointed ears and white fur and hair. Light blue eyes. She always wears a black trenchcoat with black pants, shirt, and shoes. *Note: I've decided that this should start Saturday, but anyone is still welcome to join after the thread starts if they want to.

Don't be. You spelled it right. That was one of my personal favorites, but my overall fav was Marlfox. Martin the Warrior ran a close second, but the only reason it's not is because of the messed-up ending.

That is so sad. Those poor kids. I remember hearing of a similar story but the kids were saved and their mother charged with child neglagence. She really needs to put in jail. I mean, how in hell can you put personal beauty before you own children? That's aggravating! Gives an entire new meaning to the phrase "What's this world coming to?"

A terrible thing has happened in the Spirit Realm. A magical artifact called the Jewel of Darkness has been stolen. No one knows who has taken it, but it is in the Human Realm. One thing is known. The jewel has the capability to steal enormous amounts of Spirit Energy from mortals, and the entire human race is in danger. It's your job as a Spirit Detective to reclaim the jewel and put it back in its rightful place. But the going won't be easy. Whoever stole this dangerous artifact knows that he or she is being hunted and has sent out mercenaries (sp?) to take out anybody who gets in the way of their ultimate goal..... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sign up like this: Name: Age: Race: Special Ability: Bio: Appearance: *Note: You can choose to be somebody from the show, but original characters are encouraged. The tread will start after the holiday weekend if anyone signs up. I'll post mine later.

If you could be eneyone on Otaku Boards, who would you be?
Kei replied to anime goddess's topic in General Discussion
I like being me, but if I was forced, I'd probably be Queen Asuka or Babygirl.
