1. If it's pertaining to the games specifically, it goes in Hardwired. If it's pertaining to the franchise as a whole, it goes in the Anime Lounge.
  2. They haven't actually come out and said there won't be Gym Trainers in the Gym as well. It's possible that there's both and answering the question wrong forces you to fight them (like Blaine's Gym was). Also, HG/SS proved that Gyms can have WTF setups and still provide fun/frustration (I'm looking at you, Clair. >:V). So I wouldn't write anything off just yet.
  3. Hrm, I suppose, but I really don't know how he would fit in the games, unless he's the MC for the Pokémon Musical contests. Also, I'm of mind that Aloe is a Leader, since I saw a screenshot somewhere of the Player battling her in what looked like it could be a Gym. Leaders have worn interesting outfits in the past (including, but not limited to, HG/SS!Misty and Roark).
  4. Dento is apparently going to be the new traveling buddy for Ash and Iris in Isshu, but I don't think there has been any word if/how he's going to be in the actual games. By his outfit, he seems to be some sort of butler, though...
  5. You're both talking about the same thing, since the link said the site was threatened with legal action if they didn't stop their service, which is the same thing as being hit with a C&D. 6.
It just strikes me as funny that you don't see Hollywood ing about pirated movies and music and here these people are, a smaller industry compared to Hollywood, trying to track down all their crap.
Uh. Actually, the movie and music industry have taken steps against pirates in the past. It's why most DVDs these day come with anti-pirating software built in to them. Not only that, but the RIAA have brought actual lawsuits against some people for pirating and sharing pirated music. So... :V
  7. I'm thinking that the style and gameplay changes that were opened up when Street Fighter IV came on the scene is probably what really opened up this possibility. When you look at the difference in gameplay before, Magus isn't too far off in his belief that most people wouldn't think of a SF/Tekken crossover. But since SFIV essentially took on a whole new style change (both in going 3D and changing the way some things work), it's allowed for a lot more opportunities to open up. It wouldn't be surprising to see some other avenues open up in the Capcom vs. series because of what games are capable of these days.
  8. I've never really been into Tekken (something about it is just off-putting to me), but I may give it a shot when it comes out. It looks like it's got some promise to it... (Still waiting for Sammy vs. Capcom, though. :< )
  9. There's been no mention of a PokéWalker with Black and White. There has been word that Pokémon won't follow the player around like in HG/SS, though, so that may be a sign that they're completely overhauling the system again. As far as the version exclusives, Rankurusu is exclusive to White and Gochiruzeru is exclusive to Black. It's highly likely that all of the C Gear features will transfer over to the U.S. version, but what may be up in the air is whether or not there will be regional servers (i.e. U.S. Players can only video link with other U.S. players, etc.). It's likely that people will still be able to trade internationally, but setting up video capabilities worldwide is quite an undertaking. I mean, it's possible, but it doesn't seem too feasible...
  10. The blue made me think something was wrong with my browser, not gonna lie. I kinda preferred the red with the scheme (though blue is my favorite color), but I suppose I'll get used to it, eventually.
  11. Trowa Barton "Hello. I'm Trowa. The only purpose I really serve in the plot is making you wonder why the hell I'm here besides providing cover." I friggin' hate Trowa Barton. I really do. There was really no point to him even existing in the damn show except to
calm Quatre the hell down when he went batshit loco. AND I LIKED BATSHIT LOCO QUATRE.
. He's utterly depressing and boring and even made a damn highwire act as exciting as watching paint dry. Part of me wishes I could port an awesome circus character like Claire mother effin' Stanfield into GW and show him how it's done. Or just single-handedly watch him destroy a Gundam with his bare hands. Either or. ...damn, I hate you, Trowa. Renge "Renge's here to MAKE YOUR EARS BLEEEEED!! :D" I know that Ouran is supposed to be a parody of fangirl culture. I know this. But dammit, Renge went too far. It likely stems from the fact that I hate fangirls like these, but Renge is the ONLY DAMN CHARACTER that makes me want to actually stop watching the show just because she's on screen. Seriously, every time her pedestal thing came on the screen, I went to get something to snack on. So damn annoying. --* Seiji Yagiri "I'm only here for 10 minutes of total screen time. 10 completely pointless minutes." Seiji is supposed to be one of the main characters for Durarara!! (the OP told me so :V), but he only gets six scenes total. AND HE DOESN'T DO ANYTHING. If he wasn't so transfixed on
Celty's head
, he may have had time to actually gain a damn personality, but as it stands now, he sucks the life out of every damn scene he's in. The only thing I enjoyed about him was
watching Shizuo punch him into a damn truck.
Yui "I'M HERE, I'M MOE, AND I'M COMPLETELY POINTLESS~!!" Angel Beats! suffers from a lot of problems. Namely not having a comprehensible plot. But this thing right here? This serves no point in the series other than ruining other people's happiness (
namely mine. And Hinata's.
). Even the other characters in the show talk about how pointless she is. Then Key decides
they want to try and throw a sympathy card in her hat by making her paralyzed
. ...no, Key. I'm sorry, but even that can't redeem the amount of annoyance she provides. NOTHING can redeem that. Nice try, though.
  12. I'm always available to trade, though I'm usually not around until the eveningtime. Also, I tried out the Battle Frontier once and did fairly well, but I don't go there too terribly often.
  13. Looks like a workable moveset to me. Brick Break has the added advantage of removing Reflect/Light Screen, so it's definitely handy. (c wut i did thar?)
  14. For Medicham, Psycho Cut is an Egg Move, so you would have to breed it on to a baby Meditite to actually have it on a Medicham. As far as moveset, I would think Calm Mind / Psychic / Mind Reader / Hi Jump Kick would be a decent moveset for a Medicham, though you can leave on Ice Punch rather than waste a Heart Scale trying to get Mind Reader back. If you did relearn it, though, Mind Reader gets rid of that 10% miss chance (though that is pretty negligible by the standard) and since Medicham has the odd situation of having its stats staying on even keel with one another (possibly a throw to its type being a blend of spiritual and physical, hurr), you don't have to lean your skill set toward one end of the other.
  15. As long as you don't change it as often as you do avatars, I think we'll be okay. =p
  16. You can only get the Kanto and Hoenn starters in HGSS. You get one of the Kanto starters from Professor Oak and one of the Hoenn starters from Stephen at Silph Co. Also, I'm completely available at any time during the evening. The only thing I would want, potentially, is a version-exclusive, like a Growlithe or a Phanpy.
  17. Mt. Silver and Cerulean Cave are the best places to train for high level in the game, besides Trainer, Leader, and Elite Four rematches. They have the added bonus of being prime spots to train for every EV, so they're actually the perfect areas to train Pokémon.
  18.
on the pinpoint erasing thing... that sounds intensely difficult.. and as long as there is good contrast between the image i want and the background i usually use the magic eraser tool... im sure you know of it but for others it might save time... it really just deletes all pixles adjacent to and the same within the scale of the same color you clicked on... so in your example it would take out all the white. its not super precise if colors are closer.. but you can add contrast to the colors to make it better, then shift the contrast back to normal afterwords... (sharpen works well too) the more elaborate the picture the less it works but usually you can mix both methods to save time.
It's true that the Magic Eraser can save time in some instances, but I've noticed that it has a tendency to degrade the quality of the line work in pictures. It ends up giving the scan a noticeable jagged edge and makes it somewhat unappealing, at least, in my experience, so that's why I didn't mention it. But thanks for putting it out there.
  19.
I'm trying, but I have no compatible access point, apparently. How do I log in to the WFC without one?
You can't. You'll have to wait until you can access it from a hotspot (like at a library or a McDonald's) to get your Friend Code. I'm also available to trade with people, if so needed.

    Panda~! I miss talking to you. ;~;

  21. I hope this is helpful to other wallpaper artists. Let me know if you have any questions or comments.
  22.
So maybe I should stop saving them and use on on a legendary? Or is there a better time to use a Master Ball
I usually save Master Balls for Event-only Pokémon like Shamin and Arceus, but everyone has their beliefs about when to use them. I would say when you don't have a team that can possibly back you up when going on a Legendary hunt, that'd probably be the best time to use it.
So how do you guys decide on using a TM without wasting it?
For me, I like to think about the power of the move itself, the type of Pokemon I'm dealing with and potential situations that might come up with it. For instance, before I got my Swampert (which had Ice Beam bred into it), I was tempted to teach my Gyarados Avalanche. This was mainly due to the fact that I don't have any Ice-types on my team and I would eventually come up against Dragons in a rematch against the Elite Four. My Gyarados is a little on the slow side, so if it survives an attack, that's automatic double Attack power for the move. And I can give it a NeverMeltIce to boost the power of that even more. But that's just what I do. It may be a good idea to team a TM move to Pokémon who wouldn't otherwise learn it or to a Pokémon to help it deal with a type it has a weakness to (i.e. teach a Typhlosion Solarbeam to help it deal with Water-types). Just a thought.
  23. If you're just concerned about getting to Lv. 100 faster, then yes, traded Pokemon is the best way to go. As far as a good Fighting-type, Medicham is decent, since it nullifies the incredible Psychic-type weakness that Fighting-types usually have. Unfortunately, to get that, you have to sacrifice some Attack and Defense power. So it all depends on whether you want to play to type or have more power.
  24.
Is that why it's better to train Pokémon on another game if you can? Since they will get boosted exp?
Actually, while traded Pokémon grow faster, they'll probably pale in comparison to a Pokémon that was trained straight through by one trainer. I would assume this is because since it grows so fast, that's less time you have to actually get in some EV training, but I could be wrong.
  25. As far as the seeing Legendaries goes, it's most likely a hack. The GTS is notorious for having hacked Pokémon running around. You'd think they'd build a feature into the game that can tell whether or not the Pokémon someone is putting up is legit or not, considering people that have their games hacked are banned from tournaments and the like. The wait in the Safari Zone is related to modifying the zone after you become the Owner. If you put in enough decorations of a certain type in a certain area and wait, you can get a rare Pokémon to take up residence in that area. Some do have an incredibly long wait time. Gible is one of the more infamous examples. You have to use up all your decoration slots in Rocky Beach and then wait 100 days for them to show. A lot of trouble for a potential Garchomp. A lot.
