1. I like the avatar a lot, it's very stunning. I'm not too fond of the banner for some odd reason. I think that it's the dark blue at the bottom of the banner; it just bugs me for some reason. Oh yeah, Arkadyz, you're distracting me with your great avatar. It's kind of hard to rate James' work when you have another great avatar just below lol.
2. Phantom Ganondorf (Forest Temple), Volvagia (Fire Temple), Morpha (Water Temple), Bongo Bongo (Shadow Temple), Koume and Kotake (later, they combine into Twinrova - Spirit Temple), Ganondorf, and Ganon. I hope that you didn't want mini-bosses in there, as well lol. If I'm right, then here is my question: Name the dungeons (by crystal order) in the Dark World of Link to the Past.
3.
Originally posted by PiroMunkie Heh, that is actually pretty cool. It is alike a movie preview or something.
Yeah, it's like you're advertising a Rurouni Kenshin movie. Personally, I loved the banner. It's a fine piece of work. The only thing that bugged me was near the end, with the "..." slide, I had a hard time figuring out why that needed to be there. But overall, it's a great banner!
4. I like it; it looks pretty good. I like the way Chester's tattoos look. For some reason, they just look cool in gray. I think the lines around Mike's pockets make them look more realistic than Chester's pockets (I can't believe I spent time comparing them o_O). Very good overall. Oh yeah, this is a little unrelated to the topic (kinda), but I don't think that I'd wear pants that baggy lol.
5. I'm terribly sorry, but that is incorrect. I asked for the order in which you face the Koopalings in SMB 3 and SMW, not just the names of the Koopalings (that would be too easy). EDIT: Whoops, I just noticed that right now; thanks for clearing that up, Takuya. Still, the question is only half answered. I thought that this question was pretty easy, but I guess I was wrong. To each their own, I suppose.

I almost forgot about this! I think romanticism is a word, but it's not supposed to be used in the context that I used it in lol. ~ "You starting to get a little tired?" mirai asked. "A little," Ruby admitted. "But it's not that bad." "You're sure you don't want a little rest right now?" mirai asked. "It's getting a little late." "I guess I could rest for a few minutes," Ruby said. She snuggled close to mirai and he turned a little red, but didn't do anything. After all, he didn't want to ruin the moment. "You still having a good time?" mirai asked. "I'm having a great time," Ruby replied, which made mirai smile. If she was having a great time, then he was having a great time, too.
7. I thought of this last night, but it was way too late (and I was way too groggy) to post it here. If you go ahead and just make one big gaming forum (as it looks like you're going to do - and it's sorely needed), then I think it would be a good idea to have a subforum dedicated to game reviews. You'd have your overall gaming discussion in the main forum and gaming reviews in the subforum. Nice and simple. Also, before I make new threads, I use the search engine to make sure that I'm not making a thread that's been created (because I'm too lazy to look through the forums). What I don't like is that the search engine doesn't let you put it words that are less than 3 characters. However, there are several threads on OB that have words with 3 or less characters in it. It's not a big problem, but it just annoys me a bit.
8. I'll probably end up going the communications route, with the emphasis on Journalism. I've always been interested in getting a job in writing, and being a journalist seems the best way to go for me (plus, I just might get my dream job, but I seriously doubt it would happen).
9. I never really enjoyed the original Star Fox; there was just something about it that I didn't really like. I liked Star Fox 64 a lot more, but that's just me. I don't know if SMB 2 is underrated compared to most games, but it's certainly overshadowed by some of the more popular Mario titles, most likely because it was so different from the first Super Mario Bros. I've always enjoyed SMB 2, but it was my least favorite of the Super Mario Bros. games. Of course, that's not to say it's not good, because it's certainly a good game. One game that I think is underrated not so much by the hardcore gaming public, but by the mainstream gaming public at large is Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. You wouldn't believe the number of times that I've defended this game because of it's "kiddy look." There are many people I know who have never played this game and I simply don't see why; I think it's one of the greatest (if not the greatest) platformers of all time and the best looking game on the SNES - it's simply gorgeous. The only thing I hate about it is Baby Mario's incessant whining every time you drop him; I think that would instigate more video game violence than games like Doom and Grand Theft Auto ever could lol.
10. Just for the record, I decided to put this in the Sony forum (rather than the Nintendo forum where I usually post), because I've seen this happen on the Sony consoles the most (though, it happens on all consoles quite a bit). Tomb Raider. Army Men. These are just two of the most extreme examples of horrible franchising that occur in video gaming. You know the type of game: games that have mediocre gameplay, bad graphics and controls, etc. yet manage to sell well enough to warrant sequels being made and released. My question is why do people buy this junk? Why do these games continue to be bought despite bad reviews by nearly every single respectable gaming magazine and website in the world? EGM did a fantastic article a few months ago on why bad games turn out the way they do (if I can find the issue number, i'll edit it into my post - it's a very good read), but how can these games sell well enough for this to be justified? I have a few thoughts of my own, but I'll wait to get a few responses before I post my thoughts on this subject. EDIT: Added my old response to Cereal's post to this post, so I don't have a double post. That may be a valid point, but if people wanted something to distract them for a few seconds, then they could easily rent these games. What I want to know is how these games continually get bought time and time again. In the case of licenced video games, usually the popularity of whatever the game is based on dictates how well the game will sell (although, this isn't true all of the time). Also, there are probably parents who just don't know better and buy these games for their kids. But I know that these can't be the only reasons.

With this post, I hope to take the romanticism (is that a real word?) to a whole new level lol. ~ As the song progressed, mirai and Ruby quickly forgot about everyone else in the room and concentrated on each other. Mirai and Ruby looked into each other's eyes while dancing around the room and he was quickly lost in her enchanting gaze. Ruby then leaned her head on mirai's shoulder. "I'm glad that you decided to dance with me," Ruby told mirai. "Hey, I'm glad that you wanted to dance with me," mirai said. "To tell you the truth, it's been a while since I've done anything like this." "Well," Ruby said slyly. "At least we can enjoy this together." And with that, mirai and Ruby continued their slow dance inside of the building.
12. I agree. I believe that they were on the episode in which
Freeza is chopped in pieces by his disc attack and Goku gives him some energy to live.
Right now, Cartoon Network is nowhere near that, but I think that it's a nice gesture to the few people in the world who haven't seen those episodes yet. Besides, it's not like Cartoon Network is gonna take it off the air anytime soon what with them proclaiming it as the "best action-cartoon in history."

Heh, I know what this means lol. ~ Mirai noticed the music change and his heart skipped a beat. The last thing he was expecting when he and Ruby walked inside was for the music to change to slow music. "So..." mirai started. "Are you...you know..." "What?" Ruby asked with a smile. "Well," mirai said. "Do you want to...er...dance?" "As in...slow dance?" Ruby asked. "Yeah," mirai replied. "I"d love to," Ruby said. She hooked her arms around mirai's neck, mirai hooked his arms around her waist and they began to slow dance.
14. I lost my issue (stupid messy room), but I can still remember the top 20 by heart. And I'm still left wondering how Link to the Past wasn't #1 and how Mario Kart 64 got into the top 5 over Super Metroid. I believe the answer to the question is Ultra 64, but I'm not sure if that was a codename or not. If I'm right, this is my question: Name the order in which you face the Koopalings in both Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World. Bonus if you can name the lands that the Koopalings occupy as well. If I'm wrong than completely disregard this question or the person who gets Desbreko's question right can use it if they choose to.

And, with that, it was mirai's turn to blush. In mirai's mind, this was the perfect night; just sitting outside looking at a beautiful night sky with a nice girl. Doesn't get much better than this, let me tell you. "Well, as long as we're thanking people," mirai said. "Thank you, Ruby." "Why are you thanking me?" Ruby asked smiling. "Same reason you were thanking me," mirai replied. "I just needed to thank you." And, to mirai anyway, the night sky seemed to look even more beautiful, as the stars seemed to be bigger and brighter.
16. Hey, I finally got a mention! Well, I think I'll dedicate my first online crush to Ruby (no spoiler tags needed, thank you very much). After our date at the OB prom (which is still going on, heh) I've really gotten to see that she's a really nice girl and she managed to get my secret romantic side to show. Darn these women and their tricky ways! *shakes fist*
17. Here, I'll just jump in with my question. In Nintendo Power's 100th issue, they published their 100 greatest games of all time list. What were the top five games in that list? I'd rather you put them in order, but it's okay if you just named the games that were in the top 5 out of order.

"If you say so," mirai said. He and Ruby continued to look at the sky in silence. Mirai smiled over at Ruby, who was still blushing. "Are you sure nothing's wrong?" mirai asked Ruby. "No...of course nothing's wrong," Ruby said. "I guess you've just taken on a blush for nothing, huh?" mirai replied. Ruby blushed slightly more at this comment. "To tell you the truth, if a girl put their arm around me, I might have blushed too."

Heh, I really like suspenseful romance lol. ~ "It's just that," mirai started, "I really like you a lot and I don't want to be too forward with you." "Why?" Ruby asked. "Well, I get nervous about this kind of stuff," mirai said. "It's kind of silly, but I don't want to do anything that would make you not like me." "You shouldn't try too hard," Ruby said. "Everyone has something that they might not like about themselves. Like me; I don't think that I'm very good at dancing, but I still danced because I wanted to have fun." "I see what you mean," mirai said. "Thanks, I feel better now." Then, mirai scooted closer to Ruby, slowly put his arm around her, and proceeded to enjoy the view.
20. I'm eager just to get some more news on this game. Hopefully, it'll end up being more than Capcom's cracked it up to be. I just read the news on the website and it sounds pretty good so far. I'd like to hear a lot more on this game after the Tokyo Game Show (which is going to be forever from now).

Mirai smiled back at Ruby. "I've been having a lot of fun tonight, too," mirai said. "It's nice to hang out with a nice girl." "Thank you," Ruby said. "You're welcome," mirai replied. However, mirai was hesitant. He was really starting to like Ruby a lot, but he didn't want to ruin the evening. He sat there, wondering what he should do and wishing that he knew what she was thinking at that moment.
22. I didn't know what you were talking about at first, but after looking at the screenshots, I find that I recognize this game now! The premise sounds very interesting and if Capcom can pull it off well, I'd be willing to check it out. Hopefully, it will turn out well; it always saddens me when games that try to have some originality and introduce new gameplay concepts fail miserably.
23. Really, the titles don't even matter that much (though I have to admit, I was kinda happy when I became a Junior Member the other day). There are Newbies who can write with (or close to) the intelligence and quality of some of the older members and there are high-ranking members who don't write that well. All high post counts mean is that the members posts a lot. It doesn't give any indication of how 'good' each individual post really is. Of course, there are people like me who break a couple rules in the beginning and make a few spammy posts (and believe me, I did my share of that), but eventually get on track.

Thanks, Ruby, I was wondering where exactly I was searching for you lol. ~ Mirai smiled at Ruby. It was exactly like he thought it would happen; Ruby happened to come outside while mirai was searching for her inside. But mirai didn't really mind. It was certainly the least odd of the events that had occured. "Were you able to help dayday?" mirai asked. "I don't know," Ruby replied. "I hope I have, but I haven't seen her in a while." "Well," mirai said. "I'm sure you did a good job. I mean, you've helped me a lot tonight." Ruby was a little confused. "What do you mean?" she asked. "You helped me get over my fear of dancing," mirai answered. "And you've been really nice to me and I don't really feel shy or anything around you. I just want to thank you for helping me out, too." "Oh, it's no big deal..." Ruby said. "It's a big deal to me," mirai said. "You don't get help with stuff like that every day, you know."

Mirai searched the halls for Ruby but found no sign of her. "Just my luck," mirai said to himself. "I bet the moment I started looking, she went outside." Mirai checked all through wherever they were at (where is this prom taking place, anyway?) but there was no sign of Ruby. "If only I could find Ruby," mirai said. "Or at least, dayday. Maybe she knows where Ruby is." So, mirai looked for any sign of either of them, but, still, he found nothing and was getting kind of frustrated. "I hate having no patience," mirai said. "If I had waited a few more seconds, I bet she would've come out and everything would be all right. Wait a minute. Maybe she's still outside!" And with that, mirai dashed off outside.
