mirai just looked at Ruby for a little bit. This had been the closest he'd been to a girl all night, and he didn't want to make a bad impression. "Er...draw a...penguin?" he said. [i]Oh, jeez, that was intelligent[/i] mirai thought [i]of all the things I could've suggested, I had to mention a penguin.[/i] "A penguin?" Ruby asked. "Yeah." mirai responded. "They're very graceful creatures, you know and...er...everyone loves penguins!" mirai turned slightly red at his strange answer and suddenly found that he could not keep his eyes off of TH, who was obsessing over his pink marker. "So, what color are you getting?" mirai asked. "What color are you getting?" Ruby replied. [i]Darn![/i] mirai thought [i]Her responses to my questions are well crafted, indeed. Darn these girls and their quick responses to my questions![/i] mirai was mentally shaking his fist and didn't realize that he was also shaking his fist in real life, as well. "Why are you shaking your fist?" Ruby asked. "Er..." mirai stammered, as he had just realized what he was doing. "No reason. None at all. I just find that I have to do something out of the ordinary sometimes, I guess."

I'd be "The gamer with the shot down ego" because from the moment I joined OB, I've seen some people whose video game knowledge eclipses even my own. But it's nice to meet some gamers who are higher up on the food chain than I am for once, heh.

mirai just stands looking in amazement. "This just keeps getting better and better!" mirai was amazed at what happened in the few minutes since he had last stared off in amazement at what happened. JCs band was still playing to lots of applause, Xra had been locked in a closet by a pink Taylor Hewitt and Ruby was just laughing at it all. "Well, why am I just standing here?" mirai wondered. "I have to see what's up. This is just too good to be true!" mirai runs off to the closet to see what else could possibly happen.

Hey, why would you get bashed for something like that? It's not like Queen Asuka is universally hated or something. Besides, I don't think anyone here would be looking to bash you no matter who you liked.

mirai just stared at the strange chain events that had happened since he had arrived at the problem. "First, Jesus Chicken knocks out the band and takes over...then, he knocks out the DJ!" mirai stares at the rather large crowd around the stage cheering on JC and his band. "Then, Scorpio has a bucket on his head and bumps into everyone!" mirai stares off at Scorpio having fun with Little Serenity. "And for some reason," mirai says as he takes a sip of punch, "The punch actually tastes good now!" mirai smiles and looks around in wonder at all of this. "This is the best prom I've ever been to!" Then, he realizes just exactly what a stupid statement that is. "Oh wait, this is the only prom I've been to. Silly me."

It's widely known that Nintendo has billions stockpiled just in case they need to use it. Billions! I don't think that Nintendo's going bankrupt anytime soon.

Actually, I had an idea earlier in this thread (okay, so it was my only idea), that involved the characters fighting the bosses from their series in Adventure mode. And that would be the coolest thing in the world. And I didn't notice that the entrance animations were gone, either. I'll have to go back and check on that. Too bad I don't have Super Smash Bros. for N64 to confirm it.

Actually, Panasonic has a partnership with Nintendo in Japan, so I don't really see how the Q wouldn't work. It's an official Nintendo product, so it probably works very well. EDIT: Heh, forgot to mention Panasonic's qualities. They are a big company and they do make quality electronics. Just check out their TVs if you want some proof. And if Nintendo told them how to make a GameCube, well they could make a GameCube, simple as that.

"Ow!" mirai was sprawled in a heap on the floor, left wondering why some guy with a bucket on his head had just bumped into him. Then, he took a closer look and realized that it was Scorpio (though mirai had no idea how he recognized him with a bucket on his head). "Hey, what's going on?! What's with the bucket on your head?" mirai asked. "Er, I was just trying to cheer up Serenity, but it kinda got out of hand," Scorpio replied. "Heh, I wish I had someone to cheer up like that. Hopefully, she'll cheer up. That bucket does look pretty funny on your head, after all," mirai said. Then, he walked off, realizing that it was easier than he thought it was to just walk up to someone and start a conversation.

mirai sits down in a chair and watches JC and his band. "This guys are pretty good," mirai says. "They're a lot better than the stuff that was being played her before." mirai looks around the room. "This place is a little livlier with the new music. Maybe I can find someone new to talk to now." And so, mirai begins his journey to find someone to talk to at the prom, now that the music situation has been taken care of (quite well, in fact). "Maybe it would help if I actually knew somebody here," mirai muses. "Oh well, you can't have everything, I guess."

I get this feeling all the time. Sometimes, I think it happens multiple times for the same event, which is really creepy.

I believe that Cell is officially classified as a bio-mechanical android, but I'm not sure. Cell is an artificial life form made out of real, living cells and androids are basically artificial life forms.

Heh, this is a really good poem and I enjoyed reading it very much. I can not wait for the next part of this epic to spring up.

We've got giant ant problems here, but it's not as bad as usual this summer. Usually, we have to spray everywhere, because the ants seem to like coming into our house and staying for the summer. Apparently, they finally got the picture, heh.

I totally forgot about procrastination. I'm a big procrastinator lol. I'm the person doing their leftover homework in the morning and even during class sometimes. But somehow I got a 4.33 GPA. I'm still trying to figure out how that happened (not that I'm complaining, heh). EDIT: To be honest, I don't really care for studying, because it gets me nervous about the test and I end up forgetting everything anyway. But I do pretty well on tests, so luckily I don't have to worry too much about that.

If I could change one thing in my life, I would make myself less shy, especially around girls. That's become less and less of a problem over the years, seeing as how I've become a little more open, but I can still become a little too quiet at times. But I must have a pretty good life if that's the thing that I want to change lol.

Er, I think we should try to get this back on topic. I only have on grandparent that's still alive, and that's my paternal grandmother. She's a really nice person and I always enjoy talking to her. She's one of my favorite family members. My mom's parents died when I was very young; probably about 4 or 5. I don't remember very much about them, but from what I can gather about the stories my mom tells about them, I would've liked them very much. They seemed like fun-loving people to me. Some of those were pretty funny. And now to the person my family doesn't like to mention, my grandfather. He's no longer alive and I have never met him. He was cut off from the family because he left my grandmother, which meant that she had to raise five kids all by herself. Personally, I never really had any interest in meeting him, and I can't think of any explanation I would've accepted as to why he left his own children.

I just barely saw the E3 trailer for Snake Eater on X-Play yesterday (just when I think I'm all caught up on gaming news, I have X-Play to remind me that I didn't go to E3) and I must say that it simply looks incredible. The parts in the jungle were fantastic and, hopefully, they will include some tense shootouts. All that sneaking around in the trees and under bridges to kill the guards was simply awesome. If only I had a PS2...

Also, if Nintendo wanted to make a portable Smash Bros., they'd have to get a bigger screen. The screen that they have is just too small for a game that's as fast paced as Smash Bros.

Well, maybe you'd buy it, but I don't think that it would sell too well in the U.S. I think that there are a lot of people who have either a GameCube or a DVD player and to buy the combonation, when you can buy the other for much less money is just foolish. There are some who have neither a GameCube or a DVD player, but not enough that are gaming fans to really make the Q a hit.

I wish I was better at recognizing the finer points at art, but I'll just have to go with what my philistine eye sees: your art is very good. I can see no major faults at all. I wish I could still draw like you can, but, sadly, my talent has passed me up.

mirai_torankusu puts down his cup of punch. "Blech. I should've known better than to drink punch. I bet some wiseguy already spiked it." mirai sighs and looks at everyone at the prom. "They're all having a lot of fun. Maybe I'd have some fun if they'd play some decent music." mirai looked around and saw several people standing around the room. "I guess there are people thinking the same thing that I'm thinking," he mused. "Maybe I can find someone to talk to around here." mirai walks off to find that he can talk to at the prom.

It looks interesting to me, but I'm not sure if I'd consider picking it up. I'd probably give it a rent to see how it plays. But if it's anything like the old TMNT arcade games (which were very good), then it should be a great game.

I'd say my favorite place is San Diego. The weather is great all-year round and San Diego is one of the few places in California that actually lives up to California's reputation of having nice weather. I only stayed there a couple of days but it's a great place to vacation. If I had the money, I'd probably retire there to, but I'm way too young to think about retirement.

Can't believe I didn't join this sooner. mirai_torankusu looks around at the prom. "Not much going on right now," he comments to himself. He stands around wondering why he didn't have the guts to ask anybody and, more importantly, why nobody asked him. Then, he looks at the dreaded Newbie sign hanging below his name. "Heh, maybe that has something to do with it." Then, he looks down at his black Cowboy Bebop shirt, black cordouroys (sp?) and his black skating shoes. "Or maybe it's because I'm not really dressed for a prom. Oh well, there's plenty of time to change clothes." He walks over to the table to get a drink of punch and take a look at what's going on.
