Yes, as far as I can tell, we're not in any severe danger here; it's just that we're being extra cautious. Better safe than sorry. Apparently, beaches will be closed today because the currents could get weird, and you don't want to take the chance that someone could get hurt, or worse. But as far as I know, that's the extent of any danger we are in here. Thanks to everyone who has shown concern for those on the West Coast, though. I think most Californians who visit OB are too far inland for any quake fallout to affect us in any way.
If anyone here has the means, then please donate to the relief effort.
