Interesting... Now why would C be bigger than A? A (or S) is always supposed to be the best, unless they didn't want people to think big is best... Maybe it's "B is for best?" :whoops: Anyway, I'm not familiar with the relative sizes, but, IMO, too small is better than too big in this area (hehe, area).

I don't know why it happened, but the HTML coding when commenting on myOtaku entries has been severely limited. It's really strange, and I think it was better the other way. At least, if anything, restore the coding, since it makes everything nice and organized.

Sorry, I've been fairly busy this weekend. Just so you know that your comments weren't in vain, I thought I'd post. :D Yeah, I'll definately try to make the recommended adjustments next weekend, so I'll repost then. Thanks for the compliments and suggestions.

Yeah, what Leh said, and for the record, "The World" is never shown in greyscale. Only IRL scenes are. :p

Ok, the animated GIFs and chibi-ness just wasn't working for me. As I've heard from many people, it just didn't match my online persona. Yeah, I felt that too, but c'mon, it was animated. Anyway, were back to the basics with this set. Any kind of alteration looked ugly on this picture (is this pic any good? Well, I like it :p), so I only made contrast and color changes. By popular demand, I've minimized and simplified my borders. I was looking for a quote for this banner, but couldn't come up with one. Expect this banner to transform over time as I figure something out (suggestions don't hurt either). Oh, and the myOtaku profile pic. Haha, I know it doesn't fit either, but it's just so funny. I'm keeping this one for a while. Imitated Smilie: O.<

Wow, it's really nice. However, it seems to plain or "un-Naruto" without the fox grazes on the cheeks. If you fix that, I think it'll be a rockin' pic that could be mistaken for professional work. ;) Nonetheless, really nice "capture" of a Naruto scene.

Well, if you want to offset the jaggies from the cropping, you can try smoothing out the edges, or try to use some "cover-up." :D Anyway, I'm envious. That's an amazing banner. Geez, everyone's getting ahead of me. I really need to master PS like everyone else (you do use Photoshop, right?).

Excessive trash talking what I loathe. It's great to razz every now and then, but when it gets out of hand, it becomes no fun to all the people in the room. I just hate it when friendly fun gets serious. I don't mind the pausing too much. Every now and then, we will do that, but that's only when we start the game with the goal of doing goofy things. It's usually just me and one of my friends during these "posing" sessions.

I've only recently been visiting the Poetry-whatever forum, but it doesn't look like there's much bias among what is commented on, and what isn't. The only bias appears to be long posts. It's just daunting, you know? Fanfics should be in pieces anyway, right?

Writing Poem by pbfrontmanvdp....comments???
AzureWolf replied to pbfrontmanvdp's topic in Creative Works
Whoa, this one got no replies? It's short, and has a great flow. Wonder what was the turn-off... Anyway, you've done an excellent job conveying the point of the poem, as well as retaining a complete, central focus. What's more, you did it all while rhyming, which is no small feat. It doesn't even seem like the rhyming scheme inhibited the poem. That is, while the rhyming helps with the "flow" of the poem, it certainly did not compromise any other part, such as the wording and focus. Wonderful work. Highly recommended to all. Plus, something about today's world (right?). -
Anime Please give me some info on The Epitaph of Twilight!
AzureWolf replied to a topic in Otaku Central
http://www.otakuboards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=25239 Hehe... Yeah, I wrote that, and, while most of it may be wrong, it still has whatever parts of the epitaph has been released up to and including MUTATION. -
Well, judging by the little phrase at the bottom of your sig, you know how little a person using a paint program does. At least, that's the case wtih me. :) Anyway, the background is a little strange and uninviting, but I guess that helps to accentuate (that's one of my favorite words) the eerie pic. Did you try to put other backgrounds on it?
Originally posted by wrist cutter How is that a sixth sense? It's just being human, and slightly paranoid. I think anyone who thinks they have a sixth sense is a little conceited. What makes you think you're so special, eh?
Well, that's why I asked if that could be categorized as a "sixth sense" phenomenon. I don't think I'm so special. In fact, why do you think having a sixth sense implies exclusivity? I think you are jumping the gun: Why can't all people have it?
I'm surprised that no one has named Maha, yet. Which meaning, my favorite character is Maha of course.
Ah, you stole my choice! And then you have to call him/her cute... ewww... Yes, I like Maha for the same reason's Ruby does, except for that cute part: he's/she's cool, not cute. :p

I hate running, and it seems that a lot of fencers do (even the coaches). Nevertheless, they make you do it, and I'm dead after this 2-lap-around-the-campus "warm-up." They don't let you stop for a minute, but the two laps don't even equate anywhere near three miles. I'm amazed someone can do that. Haha, what a healthy person. I hate you, Dragon Warrior. :)

Whoa... Leh's alive. I thought all the otaku progie artists disappeared (now we just need to find Dark Death). You still on the eccentric side? ;) I figured it was a school-related matter, since all of OB seems to be less active than before. Hey, I myself (and my good friend Yami*Maho Keno) have been relatively MIA. Fencing and research really does take a bite out of time. Glad to hear everything's going alright, dude. Congrats. I wonder why other OBers are missing...

"Women's intuition..." Yeah, I get a lot of that. Anyway, yes, I've had enough experiences with it to believe. I mean, I always have this feeling that I've forgotten something. Sometimes I find out what it is before it's too late, and other times, I find the wrong thing (it's usually trivial), but most of the time I just ignore the feeling and regret it later. Haha, it always happens that I forget something, feel it, but don't realize until it's too late. Is that what you were talking about, or something else entirely? An example would be helpful. :)

Haha, the only person I've ever met who actually buys fansubs... Anyway, thought I would paste the synopsis from AnimeNFO if anyone was trying to figure out what you were talking about:
Ririka Moriya received the biggest shock of her life on her birthday. A new student, Kanou, enrolled into the school and gave Ririka a present. Inside was the Nurse's Cap. With it, Ririka would become the legendary Nurse Angel. Now it is her duty to find the Flower of Life in order to save Queen Earth from Dark Joker.
"What the fudge?!" is my initial response. That sounds like a pretty bad anime to begin with. Really, really lame overview. It represents the reason why some people hate anime: they see something like this and it scars them for life.
Originally posted by rttocs77 I'm sorry but do you find two males having a romantic/sexual relationship a degrading/disgusting/dispicable thing? I think it is a beautiful site to behold in anime. I especially enjoy watching two females in a relationship together :naughty: Does it seem to everyone else that Japan is more open to the subject of homosexuality than America is?
I really think that if you want to discuss something like that, you shouldn't do it on this thread. It's a little too off-topic. That's just my opinion, though.

Grrr... Geez, I so need one of those chibi kill-sticks. All wolves will one day answer to me! *cough* In any case, this post is one strange piece of literature - almost like an introduction thread in disguise :therock:, but since it hasn't been closed yet, I guess I can comment. The quote doesn't fit the rest of this character profile. Uh, besides that, I have no clue where this thing is going.

Bringing back old threads!!! Actually, I was just browsing through all the no reply threads... I don't see the point of making the kid's eyes brown. It doesn't seem to serve a purpose, and therefore is a wasteful description (for a poem). "Sharp" and "stinging" are a little redundant, and I think "relentless" might work better altogether. The ending is weak, and breaks the "flow" of the poem. Actually, "sleep is a temparary escape away from pain" is more off-beat than anything else. I couldn't fully grasp the last two lines. Besides that, it's a nice, depressing poem. I hate depressing poems... I hate depressing music too... I hate depressing.
Before I start I really wish to thanks some people so here goes, first of all let me thanks my good friend Lantis Kailu for his gooddamn faq about Fatal Fury/King Of Fighters storyline faq and the characters informations, same thanks goes for the people who posted their faqs about FF's games and posted the character's profiles...
Haha, I knew that name struck a bell in my head! Yes, Lantis Kailu revealed the variety and extension of the Fatal Fury (FF) universe that just can't be realized in the states. Japan sure is lucky... If I remember correctly, he was the one who showed that Samurai Showdown and Fatal Fury occur in the same universe: only time separates the two game series. Are you really good friends with him? If so, give me a PM. The artwork has the same properties that makes me hate Vamp. Hunter D's style, so I think of the FF animes as a deformation of awesome characters. I didn't like any of the FF animes except the second one. I think it was the final fight that bought me over. The first one was ok, but the love story really messed it up. The same goes with the movie, along with the overexaggeration of characters (and the fact that everyone seemed to lack bones). Each FF had some nice moment(s), though.

The only one I ever found. It's not the initial post, but one of the posts mentions a true easter egg. As I've complained in some recent thread about anime DVDs sucking, true extras don't seem to be a popular practice for animes just yet. It's always more rewarding to find things on your own - and then gloat about it on message boards. ;)

We are talking about friends here, right? Being open with them is always a nice thing to do. A person is your friend for good/sincere reasons (I hope). So, if your friends are anything like mine, they completely let you voice your opinion. Since the subject is one of your friends, and another one your friends just stated his opinion, I don't see any reason not to say yours.
Nice work. I don't like the little black bit in the avatar, so annoying [>.
