Things may not seem challenging to you because you are probably setting yourself up for a big fall later on. If you are just following procedure (in any class), eventually it will catch up to you and you will be screwed in the future. Try to pay more attention and fully grasp what is behind the methods and theories.

Besides the eye, there aren't any of Kakashi's more detailed and distinctive features. Overall, it's a great accomplishment, since the lines are so well-done (it is freehand, right?).

I think [I]comic sans[/I] is the standard comic font. You might want to try that and see how it looks. You should have it (I think everyone has it), so you won't have to bother searching around. Besides that, I really love the idea. Haha, that's so clever: using a manga to actually advertise a manga. People might think you are "old school," though. I mean, if you look at all the "modern" advertisements, you never have any clue what the hell they are selling. They leave little hints here and there, but ultimately, the product is the only thing that's not shown in the advertisement. Glad someone still sticks with what works. Very neat idea, and it blends in so well with the pictures that you might assume that's what they were talking about - if you didn't know better. :p

Haha, I swear, the only thing that made me continue playing the game was the Steve (or Stevie) slingshot. That was a brilliant gameplay element that other games should have copied. Anyway... The moon sea is no fun, IMO. It's ugly looking, and it's just weird. My best recommendation is not to use the new dude too often, as this place just isn't the right area. If you want to power him up, you should go back to previous stages. Besides that, it's all about being well-equipped. If you stock yourself with every essential thing (including auto-repair), you will be ok. Oh, and be "super-ready" if you are going to go to the places you need the diving board for. Umm... Can't help you with the serpent sword dilemma, since I can't remember anything about it - or I never got it.

If those extra episodes (27-29) were part of series, they would be obtainable under the same license. However, each episode is under its own unique license, which means that these episodes are categorized by style. Those episodes are only under SIGN because it is in the same fashion as SIGN, just like LIMINALITY and DUSK have a consistent art style.

Well, I hate rating, but I'll tell you want I would want to see and what I would not miss: [B]Most Popular Anime Categories (by # of pics) Recently Updated Artists[/B] These are a great idea, IMO. First off, you get to see which animes are the most popular, and it implies that you are bound to find some good quality fanart for that particular anime. Next, you get to know which artists are active instead of repeatedly going to their place to see if they have new art or not. That's something that should be done for myOtaku too, might I add. Yeah, some people put the latest update in their sig, but not everyone. [B]Highest-Rated Artists Most Prolific Artists Recently Updated Anime Categories[/B] Call me a preacher, but I see some great artists that have just one bad picture, and that of course lowers their overall score. Then you have those people who have one picture and it is rated 100% good. If you do put "Highest-Rated Artists" in, there should definately be a 10 picture minimum. Ummm... I don't even know what [I]most prolific artist[/I] means, so I don't think it'll do me any good. :D Meh, it would be nice to see if some inactive anime finally got some fanart, but I don't think it's as necessary as the other two.

My only beef with the banner is the middle picture. I'm guessing the things that the other people were complaining about was addressed in your edits, huh? In any case, I think the background and Aura blend in fine (everything goes with white). However, that middle Aura has issues: she's like anorexic or something, and she's got jaggies. If you can do nothing else, at least blur her, as it will be more friendly to the eyes. Besides that, very awesome job. Where's the border? ;)

Just a product of me slacking off after my "best" week of school (tests in all my classes). I think I earned it. :D Anyway, I've learned the versatility and beauty of VirtualDub thanks to my old roommate. After I extracted the proper frames (via VirtualDub) from Naruto's second opening, I worked and brushed up on the GIF version using Adobe Image Ready and GIF Construction Set simultaneously. I also made it so that the animation looks seemless, instead of a sudden break after Hinata rotates once. This animation is the first one I did all by myself (well, except for the art :D), so all input about what should be worked on and what should remain in future productions is appreciated. As you can tell, it's a little speedy, but I couldn't fix that without making the file size too big.

It would work better if you said someone "stole"/wore clothes that they would not fit into many years from now, and seeing if they would enjoy it. Hey, I might be perfectly wrong. No one truly knows whether fansubbing hurts or helps the local distributors. However, reading posts on message boards where people talk about fansubbing, the majority seems to be split into two groups: people who watch fansubs and then buy the series when it is released in their area; and people who refuse to buy an anime, regardless if they can see it via fansub or don't see it at all. The group that's turned off from purchasing anime because of fansubs appears to be small. Then again, this conclusion is just from a handful of message boards, and online message boards at that, so you never know if one is lying or not. People might say one thing and just mean another, but now you know where my opinion stems from. EDIT: Oh, and sorry about that, James. I absolutely abhor this series - rather, I hate the fact that I've never seen the last episode because of how late the series came on. I remember having two chances to do so, and both times, something happened. The first time, I just couldn't stay up that late, and the second time, the VCR recording didn't work (or was the tape full?). In any case, I just wish I could have seen the answers to all the weirdness. :o

I'm patiently waiting until I can snag the manga with Amazon's Free Super Shipping deal, since they seem to prevent me from transferring the book to any of my pre-orders. I would just cancel the pre-orders and make a new order, but I got so many discounts, and they were limited time discounts, so I'd rather just sit and wait. Besides, school's giving me barely any time to do leisure reading... As you may have concluded, I haven't read the primary manga yet. However, I was able to snag the [I]Rare Hunter Sidestory[/I] (guess who that one is about ;)). The art style is really nice. I really like this style, and I wish more anime/manga that I like would use it - well, anime/manga in which the art style would fit. Haha, some anime series just wouldn't work with it! Anyway, what's always interested me about the .hack universe is how they try to put meaning and depth to our internet generation, building on what some consider "trivial" concepts, such as, "It's ok to do this because it's the internet and no one gets hurt, right?" The way they answer that question also seeps into reality themes and ideas. Am I making any sense? O_o

I don't think they even planned for Gene Starwind to make an appearance, and that, IMO, would guarantee the epilogue's failure.

Of course there are multiple artists! That goes for every anime (EVERY Anime). Did you actually think there was a single guy doing every single frame of animation?! Haha, that would be golden. There would be his boss, behind him, shouting, "Oh, c'mon, pick up the pace, man! These episodes have to all be drawn in two weeks! Mush, I say, mush!" It's cool that you came to that conclusion without any prior knowledge besides noticing a difference in art, but I thought that was a universal fact. Mangas, most of the time, are a different story, and have one artist behind them.

First, the people who own the material don't seem to care all that much because, as I have mentioned before, it helps their business by telling them what's worth porting over and what is just not applicable to a culturally different society. I'm pretty sure I know how helpful fansubbing is (proud fan of fansubbing since I first found out about them :D), so I can vouch for them that they bring good things. In other words, whether or not they get the anime from the internet, those "leechers" would never even buy the product. Might I add, I admit that I don't buy every anime I watch (hey, Japan doesn't, so why should I? j/k). Japanese people have the advantage with most anime in the sense that most anime series are aired on Japanese Television before being available on DVD or VHS. We don't have the same ability, and previewing/experiencing an anime or manga before buying is, IMO, a good thing. By doing so, you can actually determine whether it is worth your money or not.

Yeah, there are means through IRC and Kazaa, but the former is for elite computer junkies, and the latter is the "second helping" group (Kazaa is the last place an anime will be available). If you want the anime the first time it is available, you'll want to use BitTorrent. The reason BitTorrent is the program of choice is because there is an extremely small amount of load put on the primary server, as you are distributing pieces to other people while you are d/ling from those same people.[/strike]
