1.
Piracy stops the companies from getting money! less money=less anime less anime=angry people but I believe their is anime on bittorent but I storngly don't suggest anyone bootlegging .
I strongly disagree with this opinion. You have to look at the big picture: Bandai and other big anime distributors are completely aware of the "bootlegging" process, and know already of those "illegal" websites from which you d/l your free anime and manga (hey, if it's on the first page of a google search, do you think it's really well hidden?). So why do they let it keep going? Reason #1: Most fansubbers and translators do only unlicensed anime and manga, and it is hard to take legal action on something you don't have any rights to. They could inform the owners in Japan, but do you think they will care that people are spreading their shows to areas that, without some translation, would be an unrealized market? That brings me to reason #2: Fansubbers and translators are actually a beneficial part of the anime and manga communities. What this gives distributors is, "What will fly," and "what will fail" idea. In other words, they can see the popularity of fansubbed material and, with that information, determine whether an anime is profitable or not. Yes, that isn't the only factor distributors use, but it certainly is one of the biggest.
 2. I've always seen senior photos as a way for photo studios to make some cash. I mean, it's not like I've become anything better or worse by graduating from High School. Just because I have to get up and go to another area of "higher learning" doesn't mean that I would want to remember that transition. Still, other people think differently, and those are the target audience for this gimmick.
 3.
Just because I believe in Jesus desont mean I worship him. He is not my God.
I think what Drix D'Zanth was saying is if you believe in a monotheistic God (not necessarily Jesus), it's impossible to believe that there are other polytheistic gods that are around. That's called double thinking yourself, just like people used to believe that the liver had five punctures when they were looking right at it.
 4. I know that you would expect this question is different for .hack//SIGN than most other animes because this series uses CG. However, what you have to realize is that the CG is very "integrated" into the artists' work. Simply, while they are able to easily alter things (as they did in the opening of .hack//GIFT), you also have to understand that the general concept and sketch is created by humans, and this fact goes for every frame of animation. Also understand that several artists means that there are bound to be some differences. That's my take.
 5. Wait for the 24th re-release, where it will be "super mega digitally remastered alpha," with effects they were forced to leave out because they were just too amazing to be there before. Of course, you'll have Dolby Digital 12.4. ;) Let's not forget about the "top secret" director's cut version that couldn't be release due to sensitive information - oops, I've said too much...
 6. Well, I was organizing all of my files today (btw, I'm completely done, and my computer is in complete order :D) and I came across this interesting Eva wallpaper. I was never much a fan of Evangelion, but I was curious to know whether this picture is official, or someone's "dope-skillz" put to work? If it's the latter, I would really like to know how to pull off such an integration: it seems like everything belongs, even though one part of the picture is anime and the other part is 3D. If it helps, I remember acquiring this picture either before or during the summer that just passed. I'm betting with the little "signature" at the bottom left that it is definately "fan work," but you never know.
 7. Alright, I was waiting until all four soundtracks came out to make this thread, and they finally have. And so, I want to see what everyone thinks of each .hack soundtrack, as well as which one is their favorite (your favorite is the one you vote for). Even if you vote, I'd appreciate it if you talked about each soundtrack and why you liked it, or why you hated it. Here goes... .hack//OST I Simply beautiful, where the vocal songs are simply brilliant. I would say that the vocal easily outshine the instrumentals in this OST. While there are certainly a few notable instrumentals, the others were lackluster, and this combination, IMO, could not compete with the vocal combination of Yasashii Yaoke, Key of the Twilight, etc. .hack//OST II The reciprocal of .hack//OST I, where the instrumental songs get their time in the light. Wonderful pieces, such as in your mind, cyber-slum, broken wings, and useless chatting overwhelm you as you listen to this amazing album. With the exception of in the land of twilight, under the moon, and to nowhere, the vocals were suspiciously poor. IMO, it was a good thing that there weren't many. .hack//LIMINALITY + 8mm mini-Disc Vocals and instrumentals are given equal opportunity in this suprising soundtrack. Additionally, within the songs, the violin is not the only noteworthy instrument, as the piano is cleverly utilized. One of the best vocals and instrumentals around, IMO, both in .hack and other music pieces. .hack//EXTRA SOUNDTRACK Best version of Fake Wings can be found in this soundtrack. I'll leave this soundtrack with the words that Yuki Kajiura (the composer) said in packaged booklet.
"Just on the other day, we finished recording the last BGM for the .hack series. I was so glad that it was a fun series and I was able to compose a lot of pieces." ~Yuki Kajiura Whenever I get offers to write music for visual works, I'm always excited to go to the first meeting. It is my first step into the world of a story that I don't know much about yet. As discussions go on, I visualize the individual characters and various scenes and backgrounds, and that is the very moment when the ideas for music quickly move around in my head and I contemplate what sort of music or sound should be used. Although I feel as if it was just some days ago that I started getting into the world of .hack just in that fashion, much time has already passed and I marvel at how time flies. When the project was finished, I felt relieved, but at the same time, I felt a sort of regret. I believed I could creat as many pieces as I wanted, but I felt I haven't done enough yet. I guess I wanted to enjoy playing around in this world a little more. And Whne I think about this, the only thing that still haunts me is that I could not compose a theme for Sora. He was the character who jumped to the top of the charcter ranking just after the show started. There was no request for a Sora's them piece, and the "short funny piece" that I wrote as a joke was used as his theme before I knew it. So as a composer, I was secretly weeping. I wanted to make a better theme for him, even if there was no opportunity to use it. this time, I recorded different versions of each of the themes because this CD was an "Extra." For example, there is the string version of the main theme song that I made for the final episode. I would be happy if you could enjoy them and remember scenes from the show. When I composed that version for the final episode, I hadn't watched it before I wrote the piece. A staff member told me to "look froward to watching it" and they did not show it to me. Wha thappened to the hero and other characters? I am sort of afraid and yet, at the same time, looking forward to watching the episode (but also secretly hoping it wound't end). I am waiting for the airdate.
8.
3) If you have such realism suits, wouldn't that mean some more perverted players could take advantage of the attractive female players' skimpy skirts? And if that is the case, with the game being so realistic, plus all of the different ways a human body can move, you can't go "yah they could just block that kind of action" or anything to that extent. That would be near impossible, if not entirely out of the question.
O_o I'm going to pretend to know what you mean by that and say, "Yeah..." Seriously, regardless of how "high-tech" you are, every piece of CG/graphics requires creation. If it was possibly to pull up someone's skirt, I doubt programmers would even bother making something so perverted.
Not really. By motion suit I meant something like the kind used to animate CG characters. Basically, it is a black, form-fitting suit with "markers" (such as white spheres) along the arms, legs, back, chest and head. As the person moves cameras would record the markers' movement and a computer would translate the motion into the game.
Sounds a lot like the motion capture suits that almost everything 3D uses. I think the "markers" are receptors for light (I'm not sure about that though). As for the movement, it's not impossible because you could just be standing on a giant mouse that moves along with you (the sphere could be in a square so you have no balance problems). Anyway, all these ideas are silly and COMPLETELY impossible. Realize that .hack has a comparatively small fanbase for such an advanced project. Simply, as big as the fanbase is, it is nowhere near franchises such as Yugioh, and those fans have yet to recieve their "holographic dueling fields" in the mail. Researching new technologies and what-have-you is an area for NASA, with a budget of at least half a billion dollars. It's good to dream, but be practical when it comes to $$$. ;)
 9. Nice, nice. My favorite is Red's with the whole "tech" look. Very cool. Is that stuff to the right realtime data, or just part of the picture? Here's mine. I'm slowing moving my entire look over to Naruto, but I'm not quite there yet, as you can see with my .hack wallpaper. :D Oh, and I shrank everything from 1024x760 to 800x600, so that's why it's a little blurry. Haha, I will always advertise MusicMatch and Trillian! :)
 10. Wow, I hate the character picture more (c'mon, that's just not "cool" ;)), but the background is much better. Your previous ones were too sharp - or something O_o. Besides that, this banner is visually more pleasing than your previous ones simply because of the background improvement. Love all the BG designs, though. :)
 11. O_o Well, due to my ethical and moral standards, I'm very thorough when it comes to watching an anime. Apparently, there is some nudity in this series, and that keeps this show just out of my range. :twitch: Now, if it was implied nudity (where you don't see anything), that would be a different story. Haha, my ex-roommate used to make fun of me because I wouldn't watch some of his "highly recommended" movies simply because of the sexual content! "You are missing out on a life-altering story/experience because of something so stupid?!" he used to say. Bah, if the nudity somehow had a reason, that message could just as effectively be brought across by implied nudity. But I digress... I think no one knows what you are talking about simply because this anime seems to appeal to a very small audience. I'm not a fan of romance anime, but I've never seen one either (I'm not a fan of romance in general). I had the urge to give one a shot during the summer, to see what's so "beautiful" and "wonderful" about this genre, but I never did, and for two reasons: 1., I couldn't decide on which one; and 2., the urge to do so wasn't that big. Well, that covers everything. If it's any consolation, I think the art style is very beautiful. I really like that style, and it seems that all romance series use it or something.
 12. Well, let me just say, in competitive situations, it seems that the true nature of a person really begins to show. Let me tell you a story, and explain what I'm talking about. This weekend was hell for several reasons that belong more in a myOtaku post, so all you guys need to know is that it sucked fantastically. To top everything that happened, I did not have the papers for one of my homework assignments. I could just get the questions from someone else and hand it on a piece of loose-leaf, right? Well, doing that was a real pain, as only one person was online that I could ask. Upon hearing my dilemma, this guy became very unresponsive and unhelpful. After I finally obtained the questions from another person, he tells me that my idea wouldn't work because our dear professor specifically said she would not accept anything but the original copy (it was told on a day I came late to class). That's the short version of what happened, as I don't want to go into how he left for a "club meeting" in the middle of the night and how he gave me a bogus AIM contact to ask for help. Anyway, late into the night, another one of my contacts comes on, and, unlike the first guy, this person was excessively concerned! Haha, I couldn't believe the lengths he went to help me. He was prescribing several options, e-mailed me every question he could, and told me everything I needed to say to the professor to get an original copy from her before class. In short, there are real jerks, and then there are extraordinarily nice people in the world. To make sure everyone knows what is really selfish about the first kid's actions... Our grades in most of our classes depend on curve, which is a relative comparison with other students - the worse others do, the better your grade becomes, to put it simply. So, this guy saw my predicament as just another chance to "get ahead" in the course, while the other did not seem to care at all. So, how has your social experience in life been? Have you met genuine people who care, or have you been couped up with :butthead:'s? I'm used to people hiding their true feelings and being nice on the outside, but I just didn't see it coming with this particular person. Have you ever been surprised/shocked by the actions of another?
 13. Jumped between posts, and only read here and there, so I'm sorry for any repetition. I came across this thread late, so I don't have time to get up to speed on everything said. :o Anyway... Evolution is certainly an interesting theory, and, until I got into college, I never understood why 45% of the United States did not believe in it. Yeah, as you've guessed, the largest concentration of that percent is in the south... In any case, what you have to realize is that evolution contradicts the nature of what we know about the rest of the universe. That is, the theory of evolution defies the law of entropy. Additionally, you can take that theory to imply that life, and living things in general, defy entropy. It's really an amazing phenomenon, especially when you consider that everything, from interstellar debris to our organic building blocks, follows entropy, and the only known exception is the nature of life. *cough*God*cough* ;) If you asked me, "Do you believe in evolution?" before I entered college, I would have said with no doubt or hesitation, "Of course, only an idiot would not believe in evolution! Haha, how could anyone think otherwise?!" However, after studying a little cell biology and organic chemistry, I refuse to make an ultimately ignorant stance without truly understanding everything. For now, I'm neutral, since I can't honestly say I know as much as I should on the topic.
 14. Hmm... My interests don't seem to bother people that much, although I did feel a little weird reading Naruto in the school library. I haven't met another anime fan, even though there's an anime club here (maybe I should actually go at least once to a meeting, but Friday is my time! :whoops: ). Haha, I guess it is because I don't express my anime interest as strongly as the rest of you.
 15.
They get defeated, eat a bean, and keep on going.
Haha, there's a lesson in that: "beans beans are good for your heart..." I think I'm a "first impression" anime fan, where the first episode either grabs me or misses completely. Well, I guess I should say "the first episode I see" instead of the first episode, since sometimes the first episode isn't the first one I see... Addtionally, the ending just has to rock, or else the series will lose a lot of luster. You can't watch it again without keeping that lame ending in mind. You know, it'll just be there in the back of head saying, "Yeah, it's cool now, but you know how it'll end." I'd give a few examples, but I'd probably make some enemies by doing so (OtakuSennen knows what I'm talking about ;)). :D EDIT: Everyone hates repetition? That's a darn shame, because, when executed properly, it has a really awesome effect on the overall experience with the anime. Take Noir, where repetition serves as a "you might want to think/take note of this a little more than other things" foreshadowing. In other words, it's a way to represent varying degrees of importance. Noir does it significantly better than every anime I have ever seen, where the singular scene that defines everything is shown little by little, and in reverse. As the series progresses, you see more and more, and the big picture just doesn't hit you until late in the series. Ok, so that's repetition done right. Naruto, on the other hand, is where repetition is excessive and serves no purpose. Showing the last five minutes of the previous episode at the start of every successive episode is a horrible idea. In cases like these, where repetition has no beneficial effect on the entertainment value of an anime, I despise repetition as much as the rest of you.
 16. I think the rumor is bogus. If Miyazaki was quitting, I think there would be a significantly bigger buzz than the complete lack of one. And, as Stick Fairy mentioned, this interview can attest to his activity. Besides, Miyazaki is the antithesis/anti-drug of Jimmy Hendrix: You don't need to be high to create something erratically wonderful.
 17. Sara's got a point: the user can just delete the post if it is outrageous. Anyway, I always liked the flexibility of the entire myOtaku. I think it should stay with complete HTML compatibility.
 18. Yes, season 1 contains only 12 episodes. Season two, the 14-episode series, picks up right where the original ended. If you are wondering, yes, the second season has been licensed by the same company that brought over the first: Pioneer Animation. The twist at the beginning is that Mahoro's younger sister comes into the mix. Lastly, the Mahoromatic Summer 2003 TV Special holds a separate license, and has yet to be claimed by any US distributor. Um... Don't try to talk to me about the series. :o I only keep my eye on some series because I'm interested as to why some are licensed, while others are not. Sorry.
 19. Official .hack//INTEGRATION page. Thanks for the link goes to DOT HACKERS. Download the movie and see for yourself. Basically, .hack//INTERMEZZO (.hack//SIGN eps. 27) takes place a little before the video game series begins. .hack//UNISON (.hack//SIGN eps. 28) takes place after the games, where the video game characters meet the SIGN characters in anime form. Haha, these characters are drawn by the original artist, so we get to see what the video game characters were "supposed" to look like. IMO, Kite looks worse, but everyone else is cool.
 20.
HAku was the water spirit,
Haku was the water spirit? Haha, that's pretty cool. Is Haku some kind of Japanese Water Myth, because there's another Haku that was a "water master" in another anime, so I figure Haku's some kind of water story guy.
You've seen Totoro! You've seen it! Lol, I adore that movie, and nobody else I know has seen it! ^__^ It was my first anime movie, and it's one of my favorites.
I've seen Totoro, but that was when I was really young and wasn't into anime. I saw it like three or four times, but it was so long ago that I only remember a few things. I have absolutely no memory of the story (was there a story?). Haha, the only thing that stays completely fresh in my mind is the beginning where the girl goes home and takes off her shoes before going on the main part of the house. That was the first time I found out about that custom, and I thought Japanese people were super clean people or something. Good thing my sister knew, or else that would have bugged me forever. Then in sixth grade, I remember reading a book called "Dragon Wings" (or "something" wings), and the ONLY thing that stayed in my mind was that Chinese (and Japanese) people had their name and surname reversed. The book was about a father and his son moving to USA during the rise of Communism in China. If anyone knows the name of the book, that would be grand. EDIT: And yes, you can see this creator's work a mile away. There was some other old manga he made called Nausicaa that's now an anime. Haha, I could tell right off the bat it his work! July 04, 2003 [20:48] cassiato99: i will let you burrow nausicaa of the valley of the wind [20:48] cassiato99: when i get it [20:48] cassiato99: cause its a nice movie [20:48] AzureWolf17: Sure. [20:48] cassiato99: in my humble opnion [20:48] AzureWolf17: that's why you got the book. [20:48] AzureWolf17: :P [20:48] cassiato99: ? [20:48] AzureWolf17: I know, you got the DVD. [20:48] AzureWolf17: That was a joke, about how you like books. [20:48] cassiato99: it was actually based on a manga [20:48] AzureWolf17: Manga? Haha, I knew it sounded familiar! [20:49] AzureWolf17: Haha, so you like anime? [20:49] cassiato99: yea... [20:49] cassiato99: i do [20:49] AzureWolf17: Whoa! Eww... [20:49] cassiato99: lol? [20:50] AzureWolf17: It's by that Hayao Miyazaki. [20:50] AzureWolf17: He makes the weirdest anime... [20:50] cassiato99: what is so bad about tha?? [20:50] cassiato99: exactly [20:50] cassiato99: weird=nice [20:50] cassiato99: simple formula [20:50] AzureWolf17: Have you seen Spirited Away? [20:50] cassiato99: i plan on it [20:50] cassiato99: this summer [20:51] AzureWolf17: Well, just so you know. [20:51] AzureWolf17: Hayao was smoking the good stuff when he made it. [20:52] cassiato99: haha [20:52] cassiato99: are you sure about that [20:52] cassiato99: may just be a rumor [20:52] AzureWolf17: What do you mean? [20:52] AzureWolf17: I saw it myself. [20:52] AzureWolf17: That's why I said he makes weird stuff. [20:52] AzureWolf17: I also saw that Totoro thing. [20:53] cassiato99: Totoro? [20:53] cassiato99: anyway [20:53] cassiato99: the movie im talking about is about a bunch of giant insects [20:53] cassiato99: i guess some people might think thats strange [20:53] AzureWolf17: Haha, well, I doubt that's the strangest thing about it. [20:53] AzureWolf17: I love anime. [20:53] AzureWolf17: :D [20:54] AzureWolf17: I'm not the biggest fan of Hayao's work, but I'm open to check it out. [20:54] AzureWolf17: I just think he's weird.
 21.
I got my character to ask what that person's name was. All I got was a "So-" too late.I think they were saying Sora.
Pardon my French, but what the HELL did you just say?! You, yourself, asked a character in the video game a question, and he actually responded? O_o
 22. The name of the song is Fake Wings, and you can find it in the first soundtrack. On the internet, I would recommend eBay as your best bet, because the first soundtrack seems to be a scarce commodity (at least the english version is). If you can sit tight, AnimeNation says that Bandai is going to be releasing all the soundtracks separately, so you might be able to snag one then. PSSST... if you are talking about downloading an mp3 file of the Fake Wings song, then that's kind of frowned upon on these forums.
 23.
Oh come on!!!!!!! What in Gods name is this!!!!!! This HAS to be some fanart or a very bizarre attempt to draw a .HACK themed cartoon. It looks like South Park (as Tsukasa_hack well said). Come on, I'd laugh if this is a joke, cry my eyes out if they are going to take out something like this!!!!! Poor Subaru (eeeewww) oh man, I think I'll die if I keep looking at it!!!!!
Actually, it's certainly no fanart. It's something from some DVD release. It's interesting that the RAW was ripped and released so quickly, but that's what threw me off. To my knowledge, .hack//GIFT is a DVD thing, and has not aired in Japan Television.
Does anyone else think that Subaru's axe has been replaced with some kind of gardening hoe?
Hmm... I don't know... I don't want to spoil anything (in the sense that it's funnier if it suprises you), but
I watched the opening, and Subaru had an axe (a poorly-drawn axe, but an axe nonetheless)
. I strongly believe .hack//GIFT is a joke (and a gift to the fans who made the series so popular), and has no relevance at all to the series. Again, some things make you laugh more if no one "warns" you about what's to come. I haven't seen it all (since I want to wait for a translation), but I gave myself a preview by watching the first few minutes. With that, I can't say with 100% certainty that this episode is entirely a joke, but it's a pretty good bet.
 24.
Okay. So I've seen quite a few of your banners in various sigs, and I would say to try not to include that rainbow border on all of them. It's nice and all, and does give things that "AzureWolf touch" or whatever you might want to call it, but it gets a little tiresome when you use it every time.
Hehe... Well, I tried to make the gradient thing on my banners always different. If you look closer at the borders, you'll notice that I never use the same color set for the borders. But, if you have to look closer to notice the difference, then I have been overusing the effect. Thanks, I try to never do the same thing on two banners, but now I know that I'm being too subtle. :D
That being said, I like the character placement on this banner (and most of your other ones) a lot. I also really like the effects in the background, especially on the right-most side. The "#1 Rookie" and "AzureWolf" texts look kind of random though, especially since they seem to cut in between the continuing quote in the corners. They just don't seem to fit in very well and sort of mess up the ... er ... "flow" of the banner.
Really? The character placement is good? That's nice to know. It does take me quite a while to figure what belongs where, so I'm glad it pays off. As for the text, I figured it was proper to put the name in the middle. I noticed that it "interfered" with the quote, but I thought it might have just been me. Thought maybe the coloring would keep things uninterrupted. :D Gotta fix that... Oh, and just so you know, the "#1 Rookie" thing is something they say in Naruto, and could be a phrase that you just automatically associate with the series. I thought it would be clever if I just made "#1 Rookie Ninja AzureWolf." :o
I like your avatar. I think the background behind the character looks pretty cool. It probably wouldn't look nice if the image was huge, but it works since it's rather small.
You've got a good eye, unlike me. I did try it on (guess what?) my banner's background, but as you predicted, it just doesn't work.
The placement of the characters in the banner is nice... I'm not really feeling the grid you put over it though. It seems like you just put it there because it needed "something more", but you didn't know what it was. If you know what I mean. The text placement in the center is a bit odd too. I've never understood why people put their own name in their banners though.
Haha, I can't believe it. I didn't know people really liked my character placement. Again, I'm glad the work there is appreciated. As for the grid, yeah, it feels empty without it. I know what you mean: the grid doesn't "match" the rest of the banner. As for putting my name, I saw everyone else doing it when I started making banners, so I thought there was a reason behind it. Personally, I figure that's a way to show that you didn't just take someone else's banner, and this banner was made specifically for you. Also, it allows for a greater association as mentioned with the "#1 Rookie" phrase.
The MyOtaku banner is pretty cool, but the text is very, very difficult to make out... at least for me.
Yeah, I'm not proficient in animated stuff. It was a pain just adding the border and text, but I'll see what I can do with that. ImageReady is a pain...
I think all three of them look very nice and I really like the reddish glow in the avatar. For the banner, I like the colors in there and the pics on opposite sides. I think the '#1 Rookie' text looks okay and specifically I really like the left and right sides a lot.
Well, just to clarify things, for the avatar, I just extracted the picture from the white background (which, for some reason, was harder than usual) and added a "livelier" background and a border. The red effect was by the artist. The right and left parts of the banner? Haha, is the middle boring? ;)
I really like the little mini banner, but for me, I can see the text just fine, esp. since it's blue.
LOL!
Did you get the permission of the fan artist's to use the pic..?
O_o Well, no, and for two reasons. First, I figured it's the same as using official art: I don't ask permission to use it for "personal, non-commercial" use, so I figured it was ok. Second, I don't know who the fanartist is (I would have given a link :)), because the original file was handed down from two or three people before it reached me, so all I know is that it is fanart.
Hehe, I like this one a lot. The selection of pictures in it are well done, and the quote is nice too. I, too, think the center text could be selected better.. But I don't have the art program you have, AzureWolf, so I don't know if that WOULD in fact be the best text.. Good quote, too.
Yeah, it took me a while to work the quote into something that simple. I couldn't find the right word, but then I thought of something not english and found "Gaiden." I'm just worried that some people might not know that it means "a continuation," and usually a chronologically-specific continuation. Anyway, so you think the center text doesn't stand out properly, but you like the phrase? Haha, I'm not sure what you are saying because you say it's a good quote, but you say I could have selected it better. :-/
Hm.. Nice picture, however I think that a background change would make it a little better. Not much else to say about this one.
Well, the background was originally white, and I think the background looks neat, so :p
Hm.. I like it, the drawings are really nice.. However things kinda move fast, for example, the sound effects seem to flash on the screen and there's barely any time to read them. Of course, maybe you were aiming for that; I don't know (Ooh! A semicolon! I've always wanted to use one of those outside of smilies!)..
O_o I don't know... Um... should I pretend to know what you are talking about? Haha, I think slowing it down would hurt the overall quality, and it does loop infinitely, so it shouldn't be hard to catch the whole thing. And, like I said, I'm bad at animation, or else I would have made a completely original animation instead of a preset one and just adding a few things. Currently, I'm trying to figure out Virtual Dub so I can cut out a cool scene from the Naruto anime and turn it into a GIF. That would rock. :) Ok, thanks for everything. I've taken all comments to heart and the results are below. More input is greatly appreciated! I didn't just replace the banner in my FTP because I want people to be able to compare the two. See? Without the grid thing, it looks like just a bunch of colors thrown together. :-/ I don't know: it just appears like a "lazy" background, where you just put a gradient and are done.
 25. ::shudders:: And I thought my nightmares were scary... What kind of "gift" is this episode?! Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone knew what the airdate in Japan was, seeing as how the RAW (untranslated version) came out this Friday. I thought it was supposed to be a release on some DVD or an extra, not a TV release, so I'm wondering what's going on. Thanks.
