He stopped short, blue face coloring slightly. She winked at him and leaned back in her chair, twirling the stylus between her fingertips. A rough looking male creature, obviously a laborer, sauntered up to her. She cursed inwardly, hood had fallen off, revealing the feminine appearance. He stopped and sized her up. She gave him a look that would've iced over Tatooine. He made a misguided come on, and she casually drew her blaster. He moved forwards, and she leapt into his personal space. Before he could blink, she had the muzzle up against his forehead, lips against his ear. Vastus: Get lost...before I blow your brains out. That is if you have any. He growled at her and she showed him her fangs. Brilliant white, tinted rose. He backed off slowly, tripping over a crate or two. She put her blaster back and pulled her hood far over her face. Kain chuckled to himself. She moved with blurring speed, but that was an afterefect of so much training, and not an inherit skill. She gave him a sarcastic look. "What...do I have something on my face?" "For a 29 year old Massonic Jedi, you can be so juvenille." "And who was just bashing my feminine intuition just now? Only to discover that you have plenty of your own...?"

Sometimes, I find that rhyming in itself, takes away from the seriousness of a poem. Not that I'm complaining, it was a better poem than your first two. But you also need to think about the tone of the writing. If you have weird rhymes every couple of lines, nobody will be really "impacted" by the poem. At least that's what I think. Which is why I never rhyme anything I do, unless it's supposed to be funny.

She rested her hand on the magnetic blaster sheath, smiling slightly. Kain: Well? Vastus: The Split Rose refers to an ancient custom on Thracia's homeworld, of dividing a flower into two completely equal parts before any form of ceremony. With two longblades, the flower is thrown into the air before being sliced with both blades. The way they fall will predict the outcome of the gathering. When it falls perfectly, they are ensured sucess. When they are deviated, there will be death and suffering. Kain: ...simple enough. Vastus: If you're nowhere near master, you're more of a danger to yourself than anybody. She taught me the style since I could lift a lightsaber...and pronounced me a near master at the time of her retirement. Kain: ...that was two years ago. Vastus: So I think I may have improved. She smiled at him and drew her blaster. It was as she had requested. Modified to fire in a rotating spectrum, with sights, and other such delightful things. Kain eyed it and she smiled broadly, then spun it on her forefinger and sheathed it again. Kain: Deadeye? Vastus: If I try. Otherwise, I just use it to scare people. Kain: Not the Jedi way... Vastus: Bite me Logic boy. She winked at him, displaying the traits her Master had always posessed. He rolled his eyes and she pushed her hair behind her ears. Then she turned and brought out her stylus, drawing out a pattern on her gauntlets.
-
Kain: ....your style is hardly one for fighting. Vastus: I was the student of Thracia. What do you expect? He grinned. Thracia was the most reknowned healer in the Jedi council, equal to that of her ancestor, and certainly manifested in Vastus. After the fighting, the knights would come to her for rejuvination. Then again, he had to remind himself that he had never exactly seen her fight a real battle. She carried two lightsabers, but she always did everything with a detatched sort of ease. Kain: ...I never did pick up your style. Vastus: I never showed you. Kain: "Embarassed about it?" She grinned at him and turned in a smooth arching circle, body curvind down into an illusional twist, before standing again. Vastus: "I do the Split Rose. Almost completely defensive... The first Thracia developed it. I perfected it." He made a face and she grinned. Then shook the hair from her eyes and boarded the ship. He followed, and the two found their way into unobtrusive seats in the corner. She pulled her hood up at the same time he did, and then crossed her arms. "I hate doing this.....Kain...space travel makes me ill."

The other female slaves were up and about, leaving both Shrai'i and Lina to their own devices. The two stared up at the ceiling, enjoying the relative peace. Shrai'i let her eyes contract and dialate, playing eye games with herself. Lina looked like she was dozing, but Shrai'i could see she was too active for that. Blood circulating swiftly...mind at work. She turned over to lie on her side. Lina: What is it? Shrai'i: Did you ever dream of finding a way out? Lina: We'd get caught. Shrai'i: ...just for the hell of it. Lina: ....every day. You? Shrai'i: I'm a Genetix. I have no future either way. Her eyes closed and she looked back at the ceiling again.

No no, this is AFTER otakuboards. We're assuming that it's still alive, but we've gone our separate ways. I think Sara said something about not provoking eachother....as you just have. I'd do what Rico said mostly.....but I might have to eventually show up again just to make people stop and stare in awe.

I'll probably still keep in contact with my closer friends here...and I already have a good correspondence going on with LostProphet, Flynn, Luci, and Alice....so yeah. And I plan to retire to Montana with LostProphet as my next door neighbor. In adittion, there will be an extended trip to Venice and Rome with Dragon Warrior, KnightOfTheRose, and um...whoever else there was. I think I forgot. Then I'll probably check in sometime, just to see if the newbies are doing a good job of holding up the boards....and sigh nostalgically. *sighs nostalgically just at the thought of it*

Vastus shed her Jedi clothes, not even bothering to shut the door. If there was one thing she didn't have to learn, it was any reservations about herself; sexual or otherwise. The clothing was much like her own, black, sturdy, with metallic platting here and there. She put it on with little difficulting, adjusting the gauntlets. There were no shoes provided, so she used the ones she had taken from a dead pilot. Long, knee length, supple leather, and generally indestructible. She brought out her two lightsabers, kissing Thracia's before slidding it into their provided cases. She swirled on her cloak and adjusted her pack. Travelling light was a perk in this job. She glanced in the mirror, pulling her hair back in several twisting braids, then applying the makeup to disguise her scarred right cheek. Wouldn't do to scare of the locals. Then again, it would come off if exposed to heat....so maybe... Ah well, nothing else for it. She put on her gauntlets and walked out, the door slidding closed behind her. She padded through the quiet halls, and stopped by Kain's door. It slid open and he looked over his shoulder. She was leaning against the wall, arms crossed, smiling slightly. Kain: That was quick. Vastus: I was always a "no fuss" sort of person. Kain: Then why cover your scars? Vasuts: And give the locals mental breakdowns before we get off the ships?

A serpent bracelet, carved out of adamanium and silver. Eyes of aquamarine. She placed it in Ariel's hand, where it instantly came to life. It hissed softly, licking her palm, then slithered up her body. He curled around her forearm and rested there, head on her outer muscles. Ariel smiled and touched his head. He licked her fingertips and hissed again. Vondeux lifted her robe and showed Ariel her own. It was of similar design, but bigger, and the eyes were pure jet. It hissed back and curled around closer. Vondeux: He's bonded to your baby blood, and can change itself into a whip. Ariel: When I fight? Vondeux: When you wish it actually. He'll stay very close, and never come off again, unless you use him as a weapon. Ariel: Thankyou. Your gifts are extravagant. Vondeux: Eh, you'll be using them. Everything here will help you. Some things are dangerous. But you'll figure it out quickly.

Step. Step turn. Step thrust and whirl the circle. Juu and Luyii practiced quietly. Nothing but the swishing of their garments and the sweet hiss of metal against the wind. They moved in the small space perfectly, moving seperately, but not striking eachother. Juu turned and held her katana to Luyii's throat, feeling her own longblade press into her stomach. They grinned, then begain their slow spar. It was like a pardoy of the real thing, only they knew how hard it was. Controlling each movement with almost fanatical grips. Knowing that any slipups would result in a lost limb, or something equally painful. Juu brought her blade up to slice down again, only to have it countered by Luyii's slow turn. They moved like puppets, circling back and forth slowly. Luyii: Steady your feet. Juu: ...right. She lowered her blade under Luyii's defense and touched it lightly to her torso. Luyii grinned and lowered her blade as well, signifying the end. Juu: Touch. Luyii: Damnit. Juu: Don't be a sore loser. The two walked inside, not sweating, but breathing slightly faster than normal. This sort of workout was a test of mental control, not physical. Butch leapt from his basket and knocked Luyii over. She laughed and roughed up his head playfully. Juu: You lost, you walk him. Luyii: You won, you feed him.

Her eyes narrowed swiftly and appraised him. Liar. Stamped all over his physical signatures. She could warn Goven, and she did, but in her own way. So there was no warning other than what she thought to him. She said nothing as he began speaking, hell, she had almost no idea what he was talking about. Like most things, she was able to tune him out perfectly, hearing nothing but the whispers of the crowd, murmerings hear and there, and Goven's calm breathing. Eventually, someone came and sat dwon next to them, eyeing Shrai'i up casually. She glared right at him, eyes flickering a dull s ilver. He yelped and moved away swiftly. Goven chuckled to himself and said nothing. Shrai'i: ...baka onna. Goven: Such language. Shrai'i: I can do better.

The Terminator/Politician (Arnold runs for Governor)
Raiha replied to OtakuSennen's topic in General Discussion
Eew, it's hideous. *runs and hides* Personally, I have nothing against him. I'm intersted in how he will run things, and if he knows what he's doing. I do NOT think it's a publicity stunt. If he wanted that, he could start some homeless program for "at risk" youth or something.... This is a bit more daring, don't you think? I also found it fascinating that he said he wouldn't be taking money to run from "Special Interest" groups. He said jokingly that he already had plenty. At least this guy can tell the truth. *shrug* -

She looked at me, And I looked back down at her, She smiled sweetly, And I grinned back. Little arms reaching for me, I picked her up, Wrapped her in the blankie, And carried her to my bed. She curled up with doggie, Then promptly beged me to go get her frog, I complied, Then tucked the sheets in. Little fingers curling up, Around warm blankets, Head resting on pillows, Hair spilling beneath her. She is my sister, I am her jeajea, Mine to protect, And to love. -
You think THAT's long? Try reading Vamp's stuff..... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Juu absorbed U.S. history like a sponge, while Luyii massaged Butch's stomach with her foot. He growled softly in pleasure, thumping his tail, tail clipping was so wrong, against the floor, leg jerking spasmodically. Juu asked various questions from time to time, and Luyii accomidated accordingly. He whinned for more and she dug her toes in. Luyii looked out the window, then back down to her book. "Did you like sleeping with him?" "...yeah I did." "But why? You know what he's like." "I've known him since I was a child. But the feelings change with time." She smiled strangely and looked at Juu. Her black hair fell across her eyes, and she looked back down at her book. She couldn't understand yet....but then again, she might. She held her peace. There was time to muse the intricacies of growing up later. Right now, study. Then lunch, and break, and nap, and training. She yawned and turned a page. Luyii set down her magazine and stood up. She headed for the bedroom and brought out her longblade. With steady strokes, she polished it's silver edges, honning the blade afterwards. Juu put away her book and brought out her own sabre. The two worked in silence for awhile, the only sound the traffic below. It was so calm. Unlike the night before. She kept on working, and poor Butch, demoted, sat in the corner. Waiting for his turn.

She ran her fingertips over his face, eyes, lips, gently, satiated. His arms around her waist, head resting on her chest. She smiled softly. He could be so peaceful, although she knew his life was anything but that. Genocide wasn't exactly the tender type.....she expected nothing less. Instead, she leaned against the pillows and looked at the ceiling. The new day was beggining, and she, as usual, had slept very little. Aside from the rest from sex, she had stayed up most of the night, listening to the sounds of traffic, mingled with his slow breathing. He opened his eyes, the first thing he saw were her eyes, half closed, watching him. He sat up, shaking his head to clear it. No nightmares, only a dark void in which her voice chased him softly. She stroked his cheek and stood to go. He made no move to stop her, she had a schedule to keep. One that didn't revolve around him quite so much as it did the night before. She got dressed, slipped on her heels, and left. "Don't forget Dria's letter." "Of course...." "Have a nice day." She looked at him over her shoulder, giving him that glamourous smile he had seen so much of before. He grinned, naked torso visible through white sheets. She waved her perfectly manicured hand in his direction, then left calmly. The doors opened for her, and his driver took her home. When she arrived, she knew Juu was already at work, reading a textbook. Dria was also home, combing Butch's coat. She changed her clothes, keeping the envelope in her sight. Jeans and a casual T-shirt. She needed to relax.
Originally posted by RicoTranzrig Driver's ed was cake...we had this instructor, Bill, who was always sick so we ended up studing those books on our own, watcing tons of videos (including a Simpsons episode where Homer had to stop drinking for 30 days). Driver's training was fun too...I had some laid back guy who took me through everything the first lesson. Then by the second lesson he felt confident about my driving techniques and we just went cruising around town with the loud music.
Oo, we watched that one! It was funny. But kinda lame if you think about it... I failed my first time, because I was sicker than a dog, aced it the second...only missed what? 3? My instructor makes me do nothing but lanechange, park, and turn. Not like I can't do that already...I've been out on the freeway with my dad before....Several times actually. Oh well.

Well, my friend told me a rather good one a few weeks ago that I just remembered. He and his friend are jokers in the extreme, but he, Matt, really takes the cake. His friend has a little sister in highschool, as Matt and him both graduated a few years ago. Matt teases his friend every day, saying that he'll take his little sister to prom. His friend threatens him with death and torture and all that lovely stuff. [He's the sweet protective type for those of you who didn't notice]. Anyways, it was prom night, and Matt was there, helping do the food with his mom. He sees his best friend's little sister has no date, she went with friends. He grabs his dad's blazer, puts it on, and walks up to her. He explains the joke and he agrees. So they took pictures, looking very formal and convincing. And his friend didn't notice until the pictures came in....which was several weeks later. He screamed and vowed vengance. Matt and his little sister held hands and grinned, then ran.

She was quiet the whole way there. He attempted conversation, but she answered in monotone. He gave up quickly and she looked out the window. Her eyes saw everything perfectly, just as if it was day. They pulled up to the buildling, and he took her arm gallantly. She followed him, stepping in time. He opened the doors for her and she walked in without so much as half a thank you. Before they walked in, she felt him get close. Shrai'i: What is it? Goven: Why are you so cold? Shrai'i: ...It is my nature. When you're genetically created...you lose any life you could've had. Goven: ....I've never met a slave like you. Shrai'i: You probably will.

She reclined gracefully, hands folded delicately behind her head. There was no hurry to go anywhere, and it was only 9 at night. The other servants were cleaning up various jobs, then coming in to sleep. Their gossip was incredibly annoying, and she tuned it out as much as possible. Eventually, she placed the pillow over her face and moaned until she could hear nothing else. Soon after, one of them threw something at her. She reached out and caught it without looking, then hurled it back. Balled up dirty laundry. She sat upright and let her eyes open wide. They clicked inside her mind and she saw the offender...blazing like a siren in her vision. Shrai'i: Do it again, and I'll make you eat it. As usual, she mouthed off. Shrai'i stood up and stalked over. The other girls pulled away instinctively. She glared down at the female and let her eyes contract and dialate. The other girl winced in fear, and disgust. Shrai'i brought her face close. Shrai'i: ......unless you have a deathwish, stay the hell away from me.

She brought her lips to his ear, biting down softly, as if seducing him first.... Hands stroking his neck, ears, hair, purring low in her throat. He smiled, and she blew softly, then spoke in a low undertone, one only he could hear. "You think I'm going to use my sorority sister like that...? For you?" "It's an order..." "Why should I obey you? Blood before duty." "Watch it." "I do what I please, and who I please." He pushed her back to face him. Her tone was warning, but then he saw the playful spark snap in her eyes. She winked at him roughishly and pulled him closer. She kissed his cheek and wrapped her arms around his neck. They danced slowly, moving very little. When the song ended, he took her arm rather gallantly and led her to his private rooms. While he locked the door, she sat down on his bed and checked her hair in a decidedly girlish way. He chuckled. She could be so feminine, then change in the blink of an eye. He always liked that in her. Luyii leaned back, removing her heels. "You know....I really should be going home now. Juu and Dria will be worried." "Nonsense. They know you're in good hands." "Define good." "Me." "What ********. You know you would've done me years ago, only you knew I wouldn't be able to enjoy it quite as much." He laughed openly and she curled her legs underneath her, blushing prettily. He stroked the side of her face, and she tilted her head under his touch, eyes closed.

I had a guy sitting next to me in drivers ed Snap at me for putting my feet on the table. Give me a break! I was hot, tired, and pissed off at the world. I snapped back at him, and he moved. *evil grin* He tried to scare me, but I'm 17, and I'm not scared of punk *** twits like him that think they're all hard at the tender age of 14.... That was Drivers Ed. Drivers Training, is a ball. Just don't lose your mind.

You're back, And I've never been so happy, My pain is momentarilly gone, But I want to to stay gone. Will you stay, Or leave unexpectedly again, Maybe lie to me in some twisted way, I wouldn't know. We could barely talk, But warmed up eventually, If we hadn't, I would've cried myself to sleep again. I'm glad you're here, With me again, Instead of out and gone, And unable to remember anything you said. I guess that is love. -
Um, he's telepathic. *dies* ~~~~~~~ Rena arched her back, spitting angrily at the advancing hordes. The clones around her were well armed, and led by their commander, brave and ready. She hung back, knowing she was considered as a last defense, as was Xouzin. He appeared a few minutes later, looking none the worse for wear. She leaned against the cave wall while they marched. Not much to do until they were within a good meelee range. She whisked her tail, shaking her mane out. Rena: .....slow... The humans grew closer, and she ducked inside the rock wall to avoid several shots. They went wide anyways, but she prefered to keep her ears intact....just the same.

I didn't talk to you last night, I know you were there physically, But the man I fell in love with, Was not there. I was so afraid of you, I know how to make myself unafraid, But it was not what I should've done, Was just wrong. I know you won't forgive me, I know you can't forget it, But I didn't know what to do, Was so scared. I felt I was dreaming, I hoped I would wake up, But it was not a fairytale, Was completely real. I threw up afterwards, I don't understand it, But the feeling was Is there, Is in my gut. Will I find you?
