Yuffie leapt upwards, springing off Sephiroth's shoulders, and into the first wave of monsters. She held out her magicked shuriken and banished twenty with one spoken word. The woman blinked, and then vented her spleen on her without delay, former grudge against Squall forgotten for a moment or two. Yuffie ducked under her sabre easily, backflipping out of range, before pelting her with smaller throwing stars, and one painful metal oritsu. She deflected most of them, but got caught by the oritsu. In the right thigh. Yuffie jumped back, and threw herself into the masses of slobbering monsters, overjoyed. Her senses absorbed the feelings around her, the Leviathin within charging up her body. Pale blue eyes, replacing the brown and red. She laughed and Sephiroth shook his head. Too much fun. She was bleeding in a dozen different places, and bruised, but still having a great time. Leviathin swirled to life underneath her and charged the ranks of monsters. Rikku jumped up beside her and continued dealing the damage out.

*coughs and looks at Chaos* Well, only sometimes. I try not to get annoyed easily, as it only makes me frustrated. But of course, when I encounter really really annoying bîtches that deserve death, I usually have to run. Otherwise, you'd all be reading about me in your newspapers. "Woman kills annoying *******. Citizens are apalled."
Originally posted by Fiasco I've skied and snowboarded. I love snowboarding, hate skiing to death. It's annoying and too easy. Snowboarding gives me a challenge, heh, and I'm pretty good at it too :)
Mmm, have you ever done cross country? I do it with my mother every winter, and afterwards, we are sore and victorious. Mostly because cross country is one of the hardest snow involved activities you can do, besides shoveling it. There's no major slope, just flat land you have to push yourself through. You want a challenge? Cross country is a challenge. Thank you.

Although I know what it feels like, I hate dwelling on it. Being depressed will only slow you down until you can't get out of your problems. I usually do something that involves hard physical labor, i.e., going off to cord wood with my uncles. After working so hard, it's like I've sweated out my anger and sadness. But I'll still need to sit down and cry; not that I will do it again and again. Once is bad enough.

She moved from her vantage point, folding her shuriken away. Yuffie blinked, and then smiled slightly. Very fascinating. Definetly a summoner by nature. And not like her. Yuna waved off her fussing friend and straightened the sleeves of her shirt. She looked barely drained, but slightly pale, from Yuffie's point of view. Sephiroth came up behind her, wing closing back. He put his hand on her shoulder and she looked up, smiling. Sephiroth: I saw that stunt you pulled. Yuffie: Stunt? Sephiroth: Summoning Leviathin like that. Yuffie: We're bonded. I grow and he grows with me. Sephiroth: I'm sure. She winked and tapped the side of her head.

Vastus looked down over the hills. He had said they were almost there. She was frightened. But not too afraid. This wasn't her homeland, no calm quiet streams, no cool interiors of monastaries, but she wouldn't hide behind Beren. She squared her shoulders and continued moving. They saw something coming towards them. Beren murmered into their ears. Beren: Three humanoids, probably sent from Ramza. Vastus: For what reason? Beren: Probably not us. We're just pawns. Vastus: ...I hate this timing. Beren: Don't bother. He drew his blade quietly and let it rest in his palm. She tightened her grip on her scarf, feeling the knife in her spine sheath.

Yuffie was in what could only be described as a figher's trance. Her shuriken was the size of her torso, being wielded like it was an extention of her body. Her Contain materia either knocked monsters out on the spot, froze, or petrified them without delay. She turned and came face to face with a.....whatever the monstrosity was. She took a step back, feeling the light blue materia in her palm. It reacted, green and white glow. She held it out and her hair flew behind her. Instantly, the huge water god, Leviathin, burst upwards from the ground beneath her. She smiled and sat on his head, holding onto his horns. It reared back, then slammed down in a Wave attack. The monster shrieked and disapeared. Leviathin shrieked with pleasure and let himself be petted. Then Yuffie dismissed him and landed in a double flip.

Mmm, that whole Denied thing...in bold letters. It just really cuts to the quick. Then again, I got accepted anyways, so I suppose I wouldn't know. *dances around like a maniac* I'll confer with Juu.
Originally posted by DeathBug My name means, "An insect that is capable of killing". Wow....it sounds stupid when I explain it....
Oh pish tush. I think it would be more ominous if you said: A deadly creature sent to the earth to destroy all hopeful life and replace it with the spawn of hell. *pats your head* I could explain my nicknames, but then it would take a few days. I'll do my favorites. "D" Why? ....casue everyone I know gets me mixed up with my mom. Who's name also starts with a D..... "Hershy" Why? People think it's just funny that my last name is similar to a chocolate company. I hate it. "Superfly" Why? .....I still don't know.

Vondeux didn't bat an eyelid, she merely watched, her expression never changing. Years of being her had jaded it to the point of no return. Her companion on the other hand, looked very interested. Good thing they were in a private box. Her servant was kneeling nearby, occupying herself with a set of gem tablets. Vondeux yawned and looked up at the dark roof. Kynjaka: Do you come here often? Vondeux: No. Kynjaka: Why not? Vondeux: I prefer my own battles. Kynjaka: ....I see. She looked at him, then back to the servant, her third eye contracting slightly. Rhain looked up and left quickly. Vondeux smiled to herself. The servant appeared from the steps up to her box, holding a tray holding a jug of rather passable wine and a box of almond wafers. Vondeux took her glass and two of them. She indicated it with her head and Kynjaka took one between his fingers.

Cast a weathered eye over my latest post in Today's Forum and you'll need no further explenation. But if you're apathetic like everyone else, I'll just say it now. I teach Antichrist children how to dance ballet and do tap. That's about 15 hours a week at 10 dollars an hour....frittering my life away. Doing stupid stuff involving "Going on a bear hunt," "Miss Puffy," and my all time favorite, "The Pretzel Song." I worked 4 hours today, straight dancing. And I'll do more tomorrow. And Thursday. Wendsday is when I try to live. Friday is my serious dance practice with my troupe. And Saturday is when I sell coffee on my feet for two hours at the Farmer's market. I am not underworked thank you very much. I'm not overly muscular, but I'm not a shrimp either. As for food, I eat what I love, and lots of it. But I'm also a health nut, so I'm like...5 percent body fat. I eat alot of carbs, eggs in my soup or with my breakfast, and I can't get enough fruit/juice. So yes. I'm a healthy person. Not my fault. In addition, I stretch and do a modern version of tai chi.

The girls, chaperoned by a very pregnant Lulu, were surprisingly well behaved. They bought candy and walked around, looking at all the luverly sights. Lulu was able to keep up with them, as they paused every few seconds to point and chat about something. The stoped in front of a vendor, selling....what was it? Fish? Yuffie clapped a hand to her mouth and ducked under the counter. Rikku looked down. Yuffie: I hate fish....no more ocean Rikku: Seasickness? Lulu: Amazing. She has a weakness... Rikku: Awww. Yuffie: Ugh...even if I'm Leviathin's summoner...I still can't anything water related. Please knock me out.

I blade. Tried BMX once, broke my collarbone, so yeah. I can speed skate like nobody's buisness, but I'm not that serious about it. And by the way.....you should try like....longer posts? Before somebody like James kicks you. FYI, he's like...God around here. Besides Charles and Sara. Blading is fun, as long as I don't crash into another stationary object. Like that Oldsmobile.

Sephiroth and Auron exchanged a meaningful glance over the girls's heads and looked back at the game. Rikku and Yuffie got along famously, helped by the fact that both were roughly the same age, and the news that Yuffie's birthday was like....today. Which of course, Rikku announced to the whole wide world. Rikku: YUFFIE'S 17 TODAY! Yuffie: About as subtle as an 18-wheeler.... Sephiroth: Really? Rikku: Yep, ain't it great? The female ninja turned throughly red and sank down in her seat. Rikku laughed and patted her head.

I study Taoism, and tai chi, but practice neither. I like to look at all religions and philosophies with an open mind. Taoism teaches you to not make waves, to go with the flow of life without pushing against it. Similar to Bruce Lee's whole thingy. Which he borrowed from Taoism. Tai chi is a study of wind and water. To flow and be free, fill the space around you. To have quiet strength like bamboo. Avoid the attacks with supple strength, then strike back with an unbreakable hand. Simple enough.

The poor ninja staggered around for a few moments, then recovered with the aid of a tranquilizer. Sephiroth grinned and took her arm gallantly. Auron grinned and led them down the street. Yuffie looked around. No materia. Just lots of sky and land. And people. Making her .....urk. Push the thought away. She refocused her gaze down the street and thought happy thoughts again. Sephiroth: You doing okay? Yuffie: I need air. Sephiroth: Plenty out here. Auron: True true... Yuffie: Next time...I'm walking.

You don't know who the greatest commedian of all time is?!? *crosses you and sprinkles you with holy water* He's only the one who did Paleface and Fancy Pants, and Road to Utopia, and won an Academy award for a hilarous song I can quote in its entirety. My whole family cried. Which tells you how easily we're entertained. And now two of my favorite quotes from him: "She's got the kinda lips I like. One on the top and one on the bottom." "I'm so old my doctor called me up yesterday and told me that they cancelled my blood type."

Writing Today's Poem [M -- As a Precaution]
Raiha replied to Heaven's Cloud's topic in Creative Works
Today I've learned new things, It is possible to kill your dignity, To be publicly humiliated, To wish you could die more than once in the space of six hours. Today I've learned painful lessons, Twelve children with tap shoes, Make more noise than rampaging elephants, And scream louder than them too. Today I've wished myself knocked out, After I did the pretzel dance, When I heard the music I would have to sing, But mostly when I noticed an old teacher of mine in the back row. My new job is very educational. Somebody please hurt me. -
Mm, shades of Hybrid Vigor. Just with more war. Wicked. ~~~~~~~~~~~ Name: Rena Iris Shen Nickname: Ris Age: 29 Race: Black Panther Special Ability/ies: Night vision, perfect balance, and savage brutal strength. Also a tad of synthestia, but definetly a gift with hypnosis. Not that she has the patience for such things. It's just there. Weapons: Claws, teeth, and all four limbs. Bio: She's part of no organisation, as there is no real chance for her to use her abilities to the fullest. Rather, she trains the younger clones to fight to their strengths and defend their weak spots. You could say Weapons master, but that would be a slight stretch. Occupation: See Bio.
Originally posted by Chaos And yes, crickets are big here. Specifically, I found one the size of a fully-grown frog yesterday. I had my lighter with me, so I burned it. :D But still. Not too long ago, we had an infestation of termites city-wide. Don't know where the Hell they all came from, but if you walked outside, and stood still for about five minutes, you'd be covered in them. We have a lot of wasps here, too. The big ones the size of a half-dollar piece. They hurt like Hell.
Suddenly I'm overjoyed that I live by the ocean. Our crickets are the size of the first thumb joint. Our termites do not exist. Our houses are built of stucco and stone and tile. And our wasps are nice and tiny. The kind that stop short when confronted with a jetstream of Raid.
Originally posted by Change We are a sad country indeed when we celebrate death and killing. Why the pictures, we had to proove it, it help Georgy Boy out because he has screwed himself by lying about Iraq in the first place. How many millions did it cost to kill them? You have operationaly cost of the helicopters and bombs and all the ammo our troops wasted, how pathetic does that make us look, it took us half the day to kill them...
Perhaps you missed the article, but our President was fed some false information by our so-called Army Intelligence. You can no longer trust them to tell the truth when they want to start a war. It's not entirely his fault he said what he was told. He probably trusted his advisors. We can't blame him for that. The cost can be dealt with. The same way every other war is dealt with. The money isn't the issue here. So don't harp about it. It doesn't make us look pathetic. That's your view. It's a war. Wars are not won in a day. They take TIME and STRATEGY. Obviously you've never heard of either.

She set down the phone and put on her dress. Meeting someone at the airport. A male, no less. Ken. Easy enough to remember. She took a taxi to the Bejing airpor and paid him well. He waited patiently. Besides. Her *** was definetly worth staring at as she walked to his gate. She stood and waited, ignoring the stares. So what if she was gorgeous? It was a professional meeting. He came to the gate, looking slightly jet lagged. She stepped forward and bowed slightly. He returned the favor, and the two walked out to the street. She bypassed security and customs, by simply flashing her ID at them. They hadn't spoken yet, but he know who she was. The roses in her hair helped. They got in the taxi, yet still held their peace. He showed her his papers and she gave him a knowing smile. They were delivered to the Embassy and she led him to her office. She poured him a glass of water and the two stared at eachother. Ken: ...so you're Dr. Luyii Rae-shen. Luyii: Call me Dr. Luyii please. Ken: Very well.

I hear you Sere! I live on the marsh that connects to San Fransisco Bay AND the delta. So we get mosquitos every night. HUGE FAT UGLY biting types. The kind that you slap and then get a smear of blood on your arm from. Only, that's not YOUR blood...it's sombody elses. My solution? I went to Pier One Imports and bought myself a frickin' mosquito net. Probem solved.
