She chuckled and slid her arms around his neck from behind. Lifé: Just kidding dear. Shalistrae: Run for it Ilmiwyrth. Save yourself while you can. Ilmiwyrth: Oh gods.... Vichante: This is going to be an interesting trip. Where are we going again? Lifé: Sorta northwestish...south...I don't know. Shalistrae: There's a good tavern not too far from here. Vichante: How far? Shalistrae/Lifé: Two days walk. Ilmiwyrth: Oh yay. I'll have to put up with you all for that long?

Shalistrae looked at the demolished door, then roused herself and stood. She stretched backwards, smiling at Vichante, then sat down again. Vichante: Shall we? Shalistrae: Is that an invitation? Vichante: If you're willing. She snatched up a few items, then kicked open the window. He smiled, then latched onto her. She took off, bidding farewell to her only home. Lifé waved at them from far below, and she landed. Ilmiwyrth appeared a few seconds later and the four looked at the Dragouret city. Lifé: It was fun.

Neuvox: Slightly northwest ish....I heard rumors of another starseed out there. Of course, it's a nasty place...cold...war torn. The usual. Ilmiwyrth: Sounds lovely. She rolled her eyes at him and sipped her wine. Mentally, she calculated how easy it would be to start a bar fight in here if the over zealous townspeople decided to come yell at them again. She gave the staring female across the room the evil eye, then, like any normal female, snuggled up to him. Ilmiwyrth: Are you feeling alright? Neuvox: If she keeps looking at me, I'm going to pull out her hair and put a few unsightly marks over her adorable little face. Ilmiwyrth: Temper temper.

Lifé: Rinkayum is royally pissed that they've actually survived for more than just a night. Ilmiwyrth: And you had to wake me up because...? Lifé: It would be a good time for us to discreetly escape. Like now. Ilmiwyrth: I hope we haven't damaged your good standing with them. Lifé: He's madly in love with me. I'm fine. Ilmiwyrth: Fascinating. Lifé: So I'll let you wake them up....and look for me. I'll be slightly to the north of here. And just for future reference, if you jump on me again and hold me down again...I'll be forced to enjoy it. She slipped out the window and disapeared.

Using stealth long perfected, she slipped through the halls, silently opened his door and dive bombed him. Lifé: WAKE UP!!!! Ilmiwyrth: Ouch. The force of her jump had knocked the both of them off the bed, onto the floor, and into a corner. She stood up, dusting herself off, smiling brightly. Ilmiwyrth: I was already awake you know. Lifé: Well, wat should've I yelled? Ilmiwyrth: Breakfast is cold? Breakfast is ready? I am beautiful? Lifé: I was going to save that for Rinkayum...but he's already up. Ilmiwyrth: What about our traveling companion? Lifé: They're still asleep. And it'd be best to leave them that way.

Neuvox grinned and left him to his own devices. Without another word, she went vaulting across the roofs. Silently, without guile. She paused on the roof of the church, then slipped in through a window, clinging to the walls with her claws. She slid down, leaving marks only close inspection could detect, and quietly made her way into the parsonage. The cleric was in, fast asleep. She smiled and sprinkled his face with a dust pulled from a belt pouch. He stirred, then continued sleeping. She opened his doors and quietly picked the lock on the drawer. Two starseeds fell into her waiting palms. She pocketed them and closed everything up again. Then she left, leaving behind a dying cleric, poisoned by the gold of the laburnum tree. Ilmiwyrth looked up when she sat next to him. Bartender: What'll it be? Neuvox: White wine.

Five Claws....damnit. I meant fingers. *sigh* Insulting is what I do rather well....as you already know. Grr. I think it's time to wake up.

Rugiel:Pathetic. ....really it is. One of our ex-finest Angelorum screwing around with a demon like him. Ananda: He's inconsistent, powerful, and esoteric. You are foolish, young, and impertinent. If I didn't have a conciense, I'd kill you where you stand. Rugiel: Try it. She swooped upwards, then came down, sword out. He blocked it easily and twisted her over his back. She rounded swiftly and brought her hand slapping across his face. Five huge claw marks, bleeding claw marks....and a stinging sensation. Ananda: ...run away little angel. Don't let me stain myself with your blood. I'm already covered in Tal's. Rugiel: Lies. She gave him a compassionate glance, and let her illusion fade. Instantly, the presence of angelic blood covered her....wings, hands and chest. She shook her head at him. He stared in horror, then charged forwards. Ananda simply raised her hand, extended her claws and let himself fly straight into her hand. It passed through his somach and out through his back. Ananda: I wish you didn't make me do that.

Lifé chortled and pulled back the covers. Without further ceremony, she removed her shirt and her hair ties, then promptly fell over...fast asleep. Ilmiwyrth found his room with little difficulty, laid down, stared at the ceiling a bit, then also fell alseep. Rinkayum, still slightly pissed, finally found rest as well. Of course, Shalistrae and Vichante were still...wide awake.
-
Five arms? *counts arms visible in the picture* ....yeesh you're blind. Don't worry Raven, I have minimal interest in a male that would most likely squander any wealth I have as the leader of my people....and go off and get some scullery maid pregnant at the same time. You're safe to do as you plese. Anything that ammounts to more than a casual flirtation, and you can kill him.

Neuvox smiled to herself and let him ponder the situation. As they entered the town, quite a few people stared, and more than one woman screamed. Ilmiwyrth: This is embarassing. Neuvox: Maybe it would be better if I put you on a leash and paraded you around. Ilmiwyrth: I'd disconect your head from the rest of your body. Neuvox: Good luck. Several people approached them, two carrying swords, one with a lit torch. Neuvox: Yes? NPC: What's he doing here? Neuvox: He is my traveling companion. Is there some problem? NPC2: We don't allow his kind here. Neuvox: .....for the love of...
-
Namida: This is embarassing. Trance: Ignore it. Let's take a turn about. Shall we? Namida: Yes, lets. And automatically, the two women began a self guided tour ofo the entire mansion. No humans were in sight, although it was obvious servants had been about. Freshly lit candles, a scent of lavender, and stoked fireplaces. Namida and Trance paused in a room filled with wardrobes. Namida: Dare we? Trance: Why not?

Lifé: I think she'll give him a wonderful night. I think it'll work.....strangely enough. Ilmiwyrth: Eehhh.... Rinkayum: Well, could be worse. Lifé: Yeah, he could've been a drider. Ilmiwyrth: Or a manticore. Rinkayum: ENOUGH! I'm going to bed. Lifé: Good night, She smiled and Ilmiwyrth nodded. As soon as he was out of earshot, Lifé collapsed into a helpless fit of giggles.

Aorashi: ...ee, hope Trance leaves off soon. Trance: What now? Aorashi: Ah! Oh...hi....Dr. Trance....uh... She folded her arms, eyebrow up....sarcastic comment on the tip of her tongue. Trance: Are you done? Aorashi: Yep. Went smoothly...of course. Trance: Then I'm sure you didn't get any bright ideas about going off again. Did you? Aorashi: Of course not. Trance: Good. Because I'd like a private word with you in my office. Aorashi: Uh... Trance: Now.

Trance: On second thought...get your åss down here now. Aorashi: WHAT?!? Trance: You'll be helping me forward the buffs. In a word: Program. There are several mechs that need their sytem's updated. Here's the chart, you figure it out. Smiling blithley, she droped the clip board onto his lap and went about her clinical buisness. He groaned and wheeled himself to the consol. Programing....Gugh. Trance: That was easy enough. I suppose now wouldn't be the best time to tell him about his spine...I'll just do it later. Renayoshi: Hi Dr. Trance! Trance: How's your owwie? Renayoshi: Better!

Seething inwardly, but hidding her fustration, she clapped six wings together and trailed Arano at the exact same speed. As they moved, she drew out her blade and tapped his behind with it. Ananda: You owe me big. Arano: How so? Ananda: You lead me on, you lie, you insult the habbit of millions of girls over, and you're a båstard. If you use a date as a ploy one more time... Arano: Gonna try and hurt me? Ananda: Maybe I'll just never speak to you again. Seraphim: That would be acceptable. The Seraph had been waiting for them. Smiling, and waiting. Ananda shook her hair out and raised her wings defensively. Ananda: Mind your own buisness Rugiel. I can take care of myself. Rugiel: Yes...and you stink of demon. She snarled at him and raised her blade.

NEFERTIMON! Adhere to the sig standards for this website or I will scream and rant and PM you and talk to somebody with power until you make it smaller! I'm tired of having to scroll down a whole page to see other people's posts! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Name: Tracer Megelani Gender: Female Age: 24 Appearance: see attatchment. When not in use, the gun is on her thigh holster, the knife is slipped back onto a spine sheath. She covers herself in a long gray trench coat, and folds it around her waist when not in use. Slender build, muscular, yet feminine. Barcode: 94587945553188666 Skills: Strength to crack a person's bones with a hand, knowledge of interstellar vehicles. But not the greatest at social skills. In addition, she has some sense of mental clairvoyance; hidden objects become visible, unknown place become known, etc... but it is unreliable and unrefined. Location: Starship Tris Massonic, Identification Avatar; Vaikai Rhor, currently en route to Poleche Tal Streaming Power: Bio: Born on the planet Austen IV, she has been the subject of fasination and thought since her clairvoyance came into being. Before it began, she lived a relatively calm life as the adopted daughter of a arms merchant. He knew she was something special, but did nothing to encourage her. In theory, his upbringing taught her the most important things in her life. How to use a gun, how to run a ship, and how to survive. She was refining her social skills, or...trying, when her clairvoyance appeared. The untimely showing of this skill involved her seeing a hidden land base and going to see what was there. She was apprehended and forced to explain just how she knew of its existance. Once the truth was wrenched from her...after much torture, she was refered/dragged forcibly to a Test Center for the Mentally Unstable. They have run multiple tests on her mind, and she has subjected herself to their prying with much disgust. Finally, she broke out, stealing the Tris Massonic in the process and killing four guards. Not a very auspicious begining for such a female. Tracer's father remembers her with some nostalgia, but won't do anything to stop her. It was never part of her life.
Originally posted by Transtic Nerve damn and I thought my neice was small when she was born premature. I'm glad he's doing well. A baby named after me should be doing great lol.
Actually, he's good for a premature baby. My friend's baby had severe complications at birth, but is now doing alright. Any baby named after you, would have some stigmata attatched to his name, did he know you. :p But I'm glad he's healthy. Which is incredible, considering just how early he is.

No dear, that is not a sign up. That is a classic example of "The man who knew too much and had far too much time on his hands." In a word: "Sad."

Neuvox: Don't let me bother you. Ilmiwyrth: The very fact that you enjoy my company, and like to touch me...both are somewhat... Neuvox: Unerving? Ilmiwyrth: Yes. Neuvox: Get used to it. She pointed ahead. In the far distance, he could see something that looked like a village. Or at least a large house. She smiled and returned her hand to his neck. Ilmiwyrth: Looks like a hamlet. Neuvox: It's a church, twenty houses, and a tavern. Go figure.

Lifé stood and stretched, then she walked to her bedroom and sat down on the futon. Ilmiwyrth followed quietly. The two sat in silence for some time, then Rinkayum walked in. Ilmiwyrth: Yes? Rinkayum: Did you counsel Shalistrae to do this? Lifé: Of course not. Don't be a fool. Rinkayum: I don't aprove. Lifé: She's old enough to make her own desicions. That includes who she wants for a mate.

Trance: Somebody please explain why I'm suddenly having flashbacks of Friday the 13th? Corey: A minor side effect. Namida: It's spooky. Trance: But not so bad...at least there aren't any flying monkeys. She smiled to herself and disembarked with the others. The boat docked and the ferryman guided them forwards. The rain began in ernest, soaking the guests as they made a run for the front door... It opened easily enough and the hallway was warm, lit by both torches and a stone fireplace. The women gathered around the fire, drying themselves. Namida: If this stains.... Trance: Send the bill to the Count. Namida: No kidding. I hope there's something good for dinner. Trance: If this welcome is any indication, I predict tenderloin, prime rib, and most likely some very good wine. Corey: The wine part sounds good. Trance: Now if our host would appear....

Sceening? Peh, your screening is far to easy, but I'll subject myself to the humiliation anyways. And a side note: I will show up in the story later than everyone else. Why? My parents are cruel. Name: Saitsune Megelani Race: Water dragon, of Imperial blood, five claws/fingers, able to shift freely between the two forms. "Class": Lady/Empress of her people. Bio: The daughter of the First Golden Water Dagon, she is somewhat of an oddity. Her mother's power to harness the strength of the Dream Pearl was passed into her daughter, without the pearl. Therefore, her magic is only as strong as her body, which is substantial, but not all powerful. Her parents passed the kingdom off to her before becoming stars in the sky...the destiny of all ancient dragons. As all Imperial Dragons go, she is a fine specimine, but slightly bizare. Her desire to consort with mere mortals is not widely hailed as positive, and her age, 800, and lack of husband are vaguely disturbing. So...to quiet the masses, she has decided to go into the upper world and see one worty of her hand. The pearl from her mother was lost, perhaps to an Earth Emporer, perhaps to the Moon dragons. Either way, she also seeks that which was her mother's. Saitsune has pride, a great deal of it, but she is not over confident. The power to change her shape is simple enough, after all...her teacher was the greatest of them all, White Serpent. That perhaps, explains why her most common dragon form is that of a human girl's face and torso and the tail of a white serpent. Beauty and death intertwined. On the surface, she is wary of strangers, keeps to herself, and is slightly ill at ease. In the water, she is powerful, overbearing, and prideful. But she does have good reasons to be so....they are her home, and everything beneath the seas is under her hands. Description: Obviously, her skin tone is a shifting blue silver, and her build is both slender and slightlly muscular. Her hair is erratic in length, shifting with her moods. As a humanoid, she is tall, pale, and very fragile looking. But she still posesses the savage strength of her kynn and the five claws that are strong enough to maul a lesser dagon's face off. Other: Food is non essential, water is. She wears nothing when she can get away with it, otherwise, she is covered by her hair. Weaponwise, she relies on her teeth and claws, and sometimes, her tail. Yes she can fly, and yes she can hypnotise.

Neuvox: A dead thing. Your words of description dazzle me. Ilmiwyrth: It's a gift. You seem to offer little more. Neuvox: Mm, I suppose interaction between the species of alll, unlimited and flawless memory, and clairvoyance are less than at your level? Ilmiwyrth: Very well. You have skills I don't posess. But your stature doesn't do much to add to your fearsomeness. Neuvox: Where's the goodness in that? When you're my size, people tend to underestimate you. Then it's far easier to take them apart limb by limb. And this is...after all...a transitional state. Eventually I'll grow into my real self. Ilmiwyrth: Still furry I suppose? Neuvox: No, a dryad. A fully grown one with ....certain abilities...that I don't posess just yet. More like a reverse echo of them. She smiled and stroked the side of his face. His scent was delightful, the sweet cloying smell of death. Something she had always found delicious, if somewhat deadly.

Hallucin felt a slight stirring of the breeze. She paused and drew out her blade, turning as she did. Then it was gone. She sighed and brought her slingblade to the light. It glistened, and she dipped it down into her hand. As usual, she felt the slight tingle that came before laburnum poisoning, but no more. It was gone....and she mentally praised herself for growing immune to it. She padded out the door, and turned her feet in the direction of her former employer. If he was going to resist her, he had better start trying now. She moved lightly, feet barely touching the ground. Then she paused. The breath of air was surrounding her again. Ghost or Incubus, she had no way of knowing....but its presence chilled her mind....
