1. Of course not. And his name is Fenris Ulnuf. Captain of the Secret Police.
2. Her training in vaulting hadn't been for nothing. She leaned back until she was staring at the ground behind them. Then she sat up and laced her fingers in his hair, smiling all the while. Genitian looked up from where he was grazing and leapt out onto the path. She howlbarked at him, then kissed the side of his face and jumped off of the beast's back. Genitian turned and she landed on his own broad back, perfectly and easily. She flicked the jaw rope over his face and lightly turned it to one side. He sidestepped with uncanny grace for a Shire, almost as lightly as a Lipazzaner, then stopped. Drystaarth sniffed the air from Genitian, then sat back. Satisfied. Vichante: May we? Lifé: Of course. Drystaarth took off at a full gallop, hoping to overcome the Shire, but to no avail. He followed just as quickly, the feathering on his hocks fluttering in the wind. Lifé: Don't be hasty now Drystaarth.....

She snickered unnkindly and looked to the lumbering badger. He whickered and she snorted back. Then he began a slow chuckling speech about the stupidity of the lythanoids. She laughed quietly and closed her eyes again. Rali was either terribly annoyed or feigning sleep. Lifé: You are such a fool.... Rali: I'm not used to these beasts. Lifé: Excuses. Excuses. Rali: *yawn* She stroked the side of his face, then leaned back and promtply fell asleep. To all appearances anyways.

Chaotic Life

She sighed and walked to the bathroom. Sloppy, but necessary. She sighed once more and began bathing her lips with iced over water. Sayuri smiled and adjusted her shirt once more. Then she turned and climbed back onto the roof. Once there, she took off at a dead run and leapt across again. She slunk down into her own room and undressed. With slow stealthy movements, she climbed back into her cold bed and feigned sleep. Punctual to a fault, the officers opened the door and peered in. Three teenage women fast asleep, to all appearances. They closed the doors again, and Sayuri sat up. One other girl also sat up, quiet and calm. Lune: Why do you sneak out all the time? Sayuri: Why not? Lune: Are you afraid of being caught? Sayuri: Maybe. But I'm not afraid. Lune: And do they know you actually talk? Sayuri: No. I met another man tonight. Lune: Did you speak to him? Sayuri: What a question.
5. Who is speaking? And what is he? You tell me. ~~~~~~ And she felt the breath of ice on her face. And a soft cool voice whisper these words; "I?" He tilted his head in amusement. "I am hunger." "I am thirst." He looked into her eyes with a green glaze in his own. "Where I bite, I hold until I die." Her breath came faster in her fear. "I could fast for a hundred years and not die." "I could lie a thousand nights on the ice, and not freeze." He brought his face even closer to hers. "I could drink a river of blood and not burst." "Yet I am very kind." His eyes almost grew kind. "But I will blast all who attack me!" He snarled with the glory of his own self and looked at her neck. "Show me your enemies." The laughter caught in her throat and she smiled. Then purred. Here was one worthy of her use.
6. She will be blooded. Painful but absolutely necessary, For life to continue. She tilts her head back, Feel the claws slipping in the hidden place. Smile at the new moon, And Pentagram shinning in her eyes. She has been blooded. Nothing that will be kind, A new creature to haunt the footsteps of man. Do not be afraid, She will only kill those who are not innocent. Or those who want death, But they are too many for her to catch. She is blooded. A new horror of the night, combined with the power of the damyere.

Rapture

Her lashes parted to see him, much closer than before. From the breathing all around her, both lythanoid and shire were fast asleep. She rose to her feet, garments sliding off her body like oil on ice. Completely naked, and at peace with it all, she stepped out onto the open field and raised her hands to Hecate. The moon hid behind the couds, and the only sounds for a long time where the wind devils, whispering through the leaves of the trees. She sighed and raised her hands once more. Hecate smiled and released the grip on the earth beneath Lifé's feet. The Promethean flower rose up, and bloomed like a drop of blood. Lifé reached out and cut it from the land with her nails. A soft groan echoed from the ground and she quickly put the flower into her mouth. She swallowed, and the power of the land disapeared into her system. Then she padded back to the camp and sat down next to her beast and the companion she had found. The flower would go back to the land eventually. But for now, it was best to keep it close by. Very close by. One could never be too careful with lythanoids around. Even the majorly attractive ones.

Chaotic Life

She silently opened the window to the outside. With practiced ease, Sayuri Okimura exited the Correctional School that she was currently attending. Once out in the open, she scaled the stone walls with her bare feet, then jumped out onto the roof. She sat down quietly, then looked over her left shoulder. Everything was clear. She bent down like a runner, then took off and leapt over the alley onto the next rooftop. With one hand, she slid her hairpin into the door's lock, and waited for the click. It swung open and she climbed down into the apartment's interior. Before she could react, a figure struck out at her shoulder, clubbing down viciously. Her knees crumpled beneath her and hit the ground. Then the skin of her lips opened. She hissed and felt her leafblade clash against something else metallic. The male, she was pretty sure it was a male anyways, picked her up around the neck. Then slammed her against the wall....head cracking against mildewed plaster. Her knee instantly came up to his crotch. Once. Twice. He fell down in the position she had been in ten seconds ago. Her blade opened the veins of his neck, and crimson life drained through to the threadbare carpet. Sayuri's soft voice, barely discernable over the hum of flourescent lighting echoed... "Arigato." Ignoring the bleeding lip and bruised shoulder, she unlocked the nearest door and let herself in. Shower....the first sound she heard. No matter. She walked to the nearest chair and sat down gracefully, readjusting the collar of her tank top and examining the various bloodstains on her skin. Admiring the way they clashed with silver and flesh. Whoever lived here wouldn't know she was even here. .......
9. She rolled her eyes and signaled to Genitian. He stopped short and smiled to himself. With a gracefull leap, she landed behind Vichante and put her arms around his waist. Lifé: He's waiting for us on the path you are going to take. Vichante: And which would that be? Lifé: The deep black forest one you idiot. You said it yourself. Amusment registered in his eyes and he turned Drystaarth's head towards the road. At the same time, he contemplated her movement. She had seen his destructive power, but didn't mind being less than two centemiters away from him. Apparently she had more guts than had given her credit for. Or she was not really afraid of his power. Either way he felt slightly flattered. She smelled wonderful.
10. Genitian twitched his ears in annoyance, then closed his eyes and melted into the air. Vichante grinned darkly and prepared to mount his beast until he felt Lifé's hand on his shoulder. He turned to find her, deviod of her former annoyance and instead felt her fingers searching their way up his neck. Vichante: Do you always treat men like this? Lifé: ...hardly. Of course, I called Genitian, who will be here soon. We have time to wait until then. Vichante: I'm not going to wait for that. Lifé: Oh yes you are. Before he could open his mouth, she moved like a lynx and planted her hands on both sides of his face.

Rapture

Genitian rolled his huge blue eyes and settle down for sleep. Their destination was near enough to afford this luxury of sleep. Instead of reacting to Rali's intriguing statement, Lifé calmly rolled her eyes as well and laid back on his broad shoulders. Rali smiled and sat down quietly. Lifé's lashes quickly closed down on her mind and she smiled to herself. This was going far better than planned. Not only was she prepared to do as she had been commanded, things were falling right into her hands.
12. Walk through the corridors, Feel the fear, Envelop your senses, Red mist clouding the ground. See the shadows coming, Turn to face them, Know it's too late, And feel the needles slipping in. Fall to the ground, Neck bleeding in scarlet, Cry for help, Expect nobody to care. Wake up a few hours later, Look around, Then feel the marks on your body, And scream aloud. The damyere is coming for you.
13. Lifé and Genitian's heads whipped around at the same time. She hissed through her teeth and leapt onto his back, then up into the air. Time was of the essence. With a simple spoken word, six wings shoved themselves out of her spinal cord, and into the air. She put her head down and snapped them together. Genitian calmly waited for her to return......it wouldn't be long. Moving like a juggernaut, she plowed through clouds and birds alike, totally unaware of the chaos behind and before her. The village came into view and she landed in front of the inn door. With a well placed kick, the door was knocked down and the end of the chaos was revealed. Vichante sitting on a broken table, picking his teeth and looking pleased with himself. Lifé smiled and walked over to the barkeeperless bar. She poured herself a glass of wine and calmly drank it down. Vichante: What's with the wings? Lifé: You know....I should banish you. Vichante: Try it. Lifé: That's alright. I'd much rather flirt with you, then let you fall on your ***.

Lifé: And somewhere down the line, we will probably have hot passionate sex just for the hell of it. The lythanoid stopped short. There was no apparent sarcasm to her tone. Then he looked at her face. She was struggling to supress a serious fit of the giggles... Rali: I'm so glad you weren't meaning anything by that statement. Lifé: What if I was? Rali: .....This will be a great trip. Lifé: Don't hold your breath. She sat down crosslegged next to Genitian's stomach and relaxed. With a quick flip of the silver pins in her hair, she released her brown tresses. They fell down to her waist...and she took the oppertunity to rebraid them. Rali watched quietly. Shot through with silver lines, her hair was probably one of her better features.....but still. The silver made her appear wiser than she was...perhaps. Lifé: Am I that fascinating? Rali: How old are you again? Lifé: Sometimes I feel as old as Ochkik Haddah....but he's a distant relative. So perhaps I'm not that old.

Lifé smiled to herself. Genitian looked smug as well, but refused to say anything...... His energy would come in handy much later on. For now, he might as well pretend to be somewhat normal. He snorted, not breathing too hard....after all.... Genitian was a draft horse. Lifé dismounted lightly and took off the jaw rope. He immediately burried his nose in the handful of grass she procured from nowhere. Rali: Nice trick. Lifé: His needs far outweigh mine. Rali: You can't fly....even though you're a mage? Lifé: Levitation is draining. Why waste energy?

Rapture

Lifé: But one must also take into consideration their insane height....puts them at a perfect level to stare right at my lower levels...tweak my tail, finger my behind, and so on and so forth. Rali: I must say I never had that problem. Lifé: Well you're not a female. Rali: Since when were the Itsari feline? Lifé: ....they aren't. I made a mistake when I was 500......involving a panther, a snake, and a full moon. Rali: Sounds fun. Lifé: I couldn't walk straight for a month afterwards. The tail kept on throwing me off. Rali: Where is it now? Lifé: .....Where do you think? He opened his mouth, then caught her venemous glare, and shut it again. She purred and made a soft clawed hand. Lifé smiled to herself and Genitian's muscles twitched underneath her legs. He was getting restless. Without a single word of warning to Rali, she dug her knees in and clung as close as a tick. He shot off into the sunset, steam rising from his hide.
17. Genitian snorted, steam escaping from his wide open mouth. They had been moving quickly....and the time of the ending was closer than before. Lifé smiled and reined in her steed at the gates. She dismounted and removed the jaw rope. Then she opened the lock with her nails and loped through the doors. The Temple of Aerin seemed to sigh in greeting, and the well oiled doors swung silently open for her. She padded in and knelt before the altar. A soft voice whispered in her ear and she tilted her head to one side....hair falling across her eyes like a shade. "Have you met him yet?" "Yes......" "And?" "He tasted so young......but he was corrupt." "Dhirak?" "Yes." "Did you talk to Hecate yet?" "No......not yet. But she is my next task. The full moon is tonight." "Good. Use the Promethean Flower." "......as you say....so I shall perform." And your third shall be Jenica's lair. She must be notified." The voice left her as quickly as it had come, and she smiled to herself. The forest of the Ages would beckon and call to her until she agreed to come. Lifé left quickly, making the symbol of obesiance with her fingertips, then raced out into the morning sun.

Rapture

Lethe: ...the last thing exciting I did was lick a vampyre's face.....and rip out his heart at the same time. Then Genitian trampled him into the ground. The last sentence was delivered with a cheerful giggle and a kittenish movement of her head. The named beast whickered and pranced lightly. Rali: And you think I'm sad? Lethe: Well, the lick ripped the skin on his face....if I had actually touched my lips to his face, he would've frozen over. Rali: I'm assuming you specialize in cold sleep then. As your father was....the Blue Mage. Lethe: Yes. But how did you know that? Rali: A hunch. Lethe: Oh you pathetic liar. Rali: Eheh. She smiled at him and shook a finger in his face. He snorted and batted her hand out of the way. She reacted with lightning speed, driving three of her fingers into his neck and flashing out the leafblade with the other. He smiled back and pushed her hands to one side. She complied and made no further attack...
20. She smiled to herself. This was definetly something Aerin would have a field day over. Lifé searched the flat of the leafblade in her hands, the pads of her fingers running across the barbs and hooks. It seemed to glow a soft pastel green in her hands, and she smiled again. Then she put it away and returned her focus to Vichante's pale features. He reminded her of the dream she had escaped from. Only in this time and place, he looked far more secure with himself. If her dreams were any indication of the past, it would make sense. But they could be the future. Aerin enjoyed such trickery as this.....she should've known. Lifé: ...Hecate's blood never fails. Vichante: Hmmmm? Lifé: Nothing. Go back to sleep. Vichante: What about Hecate? Lifé: I was remembering the lines of the incantation to summon her. Perhaps she would be able to explain something. Vichante: What? Lifé: ....something. She smiled at him mysteriously, then leaned over and brushed her lips against his. The scent of moonflowers enveloped him, and his better judgement escaped. Then she stood and left abruptly. With a light movement, she slipped out the hall windows and landed next to the hitching post. Genitian greeted her and stood still as she mounted. She nudged his left side and he cantered down the road. Genitian: .....You smell like a male creature. Lifé: It's nothing serious.
21. I can see we'll need somebody who can spell.....and add a touch of sarcasm. Name: Sayuri Okimura Nickname: Lifé, Sunshimmer Age: 17 Appearance: The attatchment is back when she was part of a loving family. As of now, she wears dark colors, mainly black jeans, lace up boots, gloves, and sometimes a black trenchcoat. As for shirts, generally a silver tank top to match the six peircings on each ear, including the 10 gauge on her right side, two gauntlets, ring on her right ringfinger, and the choker with the dragon's head pendant. Character Sketch: Her additude is surprisingly calm for the past she carried. And since you're dying to know, it wasn't pleasant. She started her life as the daughter of adoptive parents, both of which loved her dearly. After a vicious gang fight, her peaceful world was shattered. However, she didn't allow bitterness to poison her soul. Instead, she absorbs learning like a sponge, hoping it will lead her to a better life. Right now she is the ward of the state and is enrolled in a boarding school for troubled youth. Perhaps the only troubled thing about her is her insistance on not speaking. This does not detract from her intelligence level, nor her desire to gain knowledge. She will behave calmly until provoked. Then she will attack with something called the leafblade. It was a gift to her from her birth mother, and looks like a long willow leaf....more on that later. The nickname of Lifé was given to her when she became a mentor to the younger girls that boarded with her. Because her actions spoke louder than the very few words she used, the girls she counseled found greater healing than they had with certified head shrinkers. Sunshimmer was meant to be a joke among the "men" of the school. Because of the way her hair catches sunlight, the guys thought it would be nice to insinuate that her hair is always shinny. Of course, the men who came up with the nickname were "offed." Then again, she decided to keep it anyways. And no, she is not unstable, she just hates people that are frivolous [hello Juu] and capricious. If Fury came up to her today, she would stare at him until he became uncomfortable or said something, then walk away calmly. If he tried to follow she would turn and give him an egnimatic smile. Then continue on her way. Of course, if she found him attractive, she would actually speak. [Afterall Piro...you mentioned something about sex in the intro.]

Rapture

Genitian snorted himself and changed his pace slightly to the Spanish walk. His tail plummed and he shifted his shoulders underneath Lethe's legs. She smiled and merely losened her grip on his jaw rope. Rali: What is it? Lethe: You claim that dead things are in vogue? When it's obvious that everything around us is so alive? Rali: Perhaps they're simply attracted to me. Lethe: I can understand that. Rali: And no vampyre has bothered you? Lethe: ....welll........there was a damyere once, but she didn't last ten seconds. I doubt the poor girl got more than half a mouthful. Rali: And she caught you off guard? Lethe: I was asleep. And it was after I had been fighting at the Crescent Arena for several weeks.....in a double Bayver fight. Rali: ...I've heard of that. Are they all two hour matches? Lethe: Yes. Weighted clothing, no referee, the whole nine yards. She smiled at him, lazy and uncarring. He gave her a calm glance, that quickly shatterd when she turned her own silver eyes upon him and let them shift into the full Itsari form. Catlike, searing and as cold as midwinter ice. Her mouth opened, and her tongue was ridged like a feline's.....then she stopped, and everything went back to normal. Lethe: ....dead things really do chase me. I just hate to admit it.
23. Lifé's lashes parted and the first thing she saw was the afterimage of her nightmare. Faceless god. Tormenting her soul. She stood and put on her usual black clothes, then sheathed her blade. With a simple flick of her wrist, she adjusted her cloak and went down the hall to what she understood to be Vichante's room. She smiled broadly and opened the door. He was still asleep, and she took the oppertunity to draw her blade and place it lightly across his throat. His eyes opened slowly and smiled at her. She winked and drew the cold silver away. Then she sat down lazily next to him and touched his pale skin..... Lifé: You are different. Vichante: .....and you are not? Lifé: Yes, but I have a peace with myself for it...do you?
24. Her eyes flickered and she drained her drink quickly. The bartender looked at her meaningfully, and she smiled back. He leaned over the counter and exchanged a few words with her. She slapped down the required amount of silver, then stood to go to her room. Before she completely exited the room, she looked straight into Vichante's eyes and sent him a swift mental image. He started. A flood of pictures crashed through his brain. A woman screaming, a child crying for her mother, a wild horse rearing in the night, seven stars encircling the moon, and a red eye. Staring into his soul. Then her name, written in smoke from a burning village. Lifé. Cool and healing, but with a strange tilt to it. Then she went up the stairs and disapeared. Once in her room, she set down her concealed package and left the door unlocked. She unpacked her leaf blade and set it down on the nightstand. Then she sat down on the bed and slowly took off her leather garments. Once down to her bare skin and black lingere, she pulled the covers up to her waist and started to remove her 6 earings and gauntlets. These she laid out on the table, silver sparkling in the flickering light of the candle. Footsteps registered in her ears and she leaned against the wall, leafblade jumping into her waiting palm. A knock on the door, followed by the stranger's soft voice behind it. She smiled, raised one hand, and waited. The door instantly swung open, and he walked in. Vichante: ....Lifé. Lifé: May I help you? Vichante: Why are you here? Lifé: Why is a servant Dhirak here? Vichante: ......I'll ask it again. Lifé: No need. My mision here is simply to see the sights before I go north to the Temple of Aerin. Vichante: And why do you ask about Dhirak? What is he to you? Lifé: ....he simply is. I have no quarrel with his servants. So you can stop thinking about drawing your weapon and facing a half clad woman.

She turned her huge silver eyes in his direction and smiled faintly. Lethe: I have been here for a very long time. Longer than you I'd wager. Rali: How long? Lethe: At least 800 years. Dear. Rali: Fascinating thought.....are you a Itsari? Lethe: Partly. And a snake licked my ear once....gave me a take on every animal language ever made. Rali: Usefull. Lethe: Sometimes. Your language is particularly fascinating....
