Ilekea stepped down from her platform and touched his face gently. He looked up, hardly able to raise his head. Her eyes glowed, the insiduous liquid silver he had only noticed once before. She smiled and touched his lips with her figners. He felt life quickly return into his deadened limbs. Her body glowed and the light entered his body.... He stood up unaided. Ilekea stepped back, and Asura put his arm around her shoulders. Senija: I told you.... Matt: .... Ilekea: You resisted for a very long time. I'm rather impressed....even if it was partially foolishness.

Ilekea: If we didn't do that to you...Matthew... Senija: You would die. Quickly. Matt: You're lying. Ilekea: No. If we left you to the elements of this place. The trinity would surround you....and you would quickly become a mindless puppet..under the control of either Loloth, Henisa, or Mechery. Matt: Prove it. She sighed and rose to her feet....then she swept her arm around her shoulder and sighed endlessly. The mark of the trinity appeared around her forehead and quickly moved forward to base itself at Matt's feet.

Ilekea: Sharing is caring Asura. She spoke out of the corner of her mouth.... And he whipped his head around, shocked. Her voice was low and calm, and he guessed her position correctly. Lying down on the side of the rock wall, legs folded behind her gracefully. She smiled and winked at him. Asura: ...I thought you weren't allowed to drink. Ilekea: I was kidding. But somebody is coming...who will want to drink. Asura: That outsider boy? Senija: Yes, this outsider boy. She appeared from the sanctum, Matt behind her. He looked none the worse for his ordeal...but slightly pissed. Ilekea raised her head from her folded arms and looked at him distainfully. Ilekea: ....lovely.

Out of the corner of her eye, Sabirsing watched Arano struggle with himself. Tornait clicked his beak at her and rustled his feathers. She flicked him with her left hand and stood up. Tornait: Checkin' him out? Sabir: Yeah right. You think I want to date somebody like that? Tornait: I dunno. Do you like pain? Her teeth ground together audibly and she flicked him again. Harder. He shrieked at her and flapped off in the distance. She massaged the corners of her eyes. Bliss. Of course he would be back, but at least she would be able to get a break from his infernal teasing. Executing a swift turn and leap, she brought her staff to life and swished it to one side. The point slammed down into the ground, creating a small shockwave...

Nepenthe: Then look into my eyes. Damien: ...I... She touched his chin with her fingers, eyes opening. He couldn't resist....the silver of her own drew his in...like endless wells, pulling him down into oblivion. Damien's eyes quickly closed and he sank down into her open arms, in a half blood, half induced sleep. She stroked his long hair quietly, smiling to herself. Hypnosis was almost too easy. Siren stired in her sleep, and sniffed the air. That impossibly strong scent of spider blood mixed with Istari. She smiled. He would be very happy when he woke up. She curled herself up tighter and fell fast asleep again. Everyone around her now asleep, Nepenthe opened her mouth and began to sing....quietly at first....blending with the natural things around her. She smiled broadly. Most of the time, when she did this, everyone around her either became drowsy, or exhausted....

Senija: ...sorry. That technology of yours will not work. He looked down, disbelieveing. There was no way it couldn't work....she smiled and quietly began the incantation. His clothes immediatly dried out and he looked at himself. The cold and heat had vanished. Senija: Hungry?
-
"You look hungry. My blood can sustain you...for a very long time." He looked at her. Didn't she know the risk of him giving her the silver kiss? Apparently...or she wouldn't of asked. Or even know. She gestured to her neck once more, and tilted her head to one side. He paused. Her offer was extremely tempting....almost too much. If he did, he could kill her. But then again, she was strong. She put her arms closer around him, and he felt his resolve crumbling. "I'm not as delicate as you think."

She bent down and picked him up carefully. She stepped over to the waterfall, which expanded to acompany him...and placed him inside. He spluttered, then coughed. Matt's body swiftly regenerated in the blessed water...and he sat up quickly. Matt: What are you going to do with me? "Are you afraid? ...." Matt: Yes. "Good."

She smiled and pointed her hands towards the door. It snapped shut in front of Matt's face...and he whirled around...like a cornered beast. Her body twisted in an arch and she reached for the blood. He backed away...but it was too late. The entire basin splashed across his body, and he groaned...sinking to his knees. Not only had she sped up the process, she had mixed the oil into it as well. In her waterfall, Ilekea sat up straight and switched on her Sight. It appeared the newcomer was more afraid of blood than anything else. She smiled and sent her orders to the preistess. The young girl sighed and made the symbol of the trinity before Matt could move. Matt: What are you doing?!?
-
She turned to go, but by then it was to late. The beast rose to his feet once more, eye regenerated, body whole and firm. Ganthor hissed and rose into the air. Nepenthe scowled. It had gone through it's phases faster than possible. Lacroix sighed and pulled out his own weapon. The female sorceress pointed her spear at it and muttered something.....until her words reberverated through the entire area....nearly deafening some. Nepenthe: Undalu Garana, Tensore, LIBERTINE!! A huge sevenpointed star formed around the point and hurtled towards the beast, spinning like a shuriken. Nepenthe growled and added her power to it as it increased in it's speed. Ganthor roared and shot his own energy attack in it's wake...

Her eyes shut, and she slept, ears filled with tree song.....it was a dull hum, ever so often changing its rhythm and meter. Siren chuckled and leaned against one of the buildling still standing. That girl could sleep on a clothesline. Long before the dawn ever began, she was up once more. She quickly vaulted her way through the trees, braiding her hair as she went...then she landed swiftly and entered the town. Once within the boundries, she put her nose to work and found the slumbering vampyre. He looked comfortable. Almost at peace.... She folded her legs underneath her gracefully and put a hand on his chest. He didn't move....but his senses awoke. A hand was on his chest, and it was calming....not a threat. Nepenthe smiled and smelled the air around him. It was muted, like his whole sense. Damien: Is it morning? Nepenthe: Hardly. I'm surprised you're up though....normally, your kind sleep long after a feed. He looked at her. Could she tell that easily? Nepenthe smiled and gestured to her neck.

Tonberry: Troubled Sabir? She looked up...startled. The bird on her hand dipped its wings and chirruped. He stared. Sabirsing stroked his tail feathers and explained herself. Tonberry: Your ....mother sent him? Sabir: My mother is a star. My mother's companion sent him. Tornait: ...actually, I was going to go to somebody else, but then Cinoris told me to come here.... Sabir: Oh thanks, I feel so happy now. A second place host. Tonberry: I'll just....go see if the others are up yet... He waddled off and Sabir groaned. Another creature to taunt her. She flicked her wrist and he took off in a flury of black feathers. He circled overhead, then landed on her shoulder this time. Sabir: So I'm stuck with you until...? Tornait: I dunno, when I feel like leaving. Sabir: Couldn't I just banish you? Tornait: You could try...but you might get Mechery mad. Her eyes opened wider and she gritted her teeth. This was another excuse to keep an eye on her.

Sabirsing rolled her hair between her fingers, then snapped it backwards in swift braids....she bound them up with two sticks, then adjusted her headband.... If she was going to be the only Laproin around, she might as well be proud of it. She looked up into the sun, shielding her eyes with one hand. It was then that she realized something was sitting on it, and she went ballistic. It turned out to be a black hawk, shrunken down to a miniature size....and it nipped her hand playfully. Sabirsing's eyes half shut and she looked at it again....his eyes seemed to taunt her, tease her...and she backed away. The bird landed on her hand again, and began to preen. Sabir: ...hello. Tornait: Hello Sabirsing. Cinoris sent me to keep an eye on you. Sabir: He....sent you... Tornait: Yes. Sabir: Oh... She sat down hard, mind a whirl of thoughts and memories...

Okay, I have one word to say about those elf arrows of yours...."Cheesewhizzing." ~~~~~~~~~ Nepenthe: ....what a fool. Lacroix: How do you figure? Nepenthe: This particlar species of beast regenerate. They're all troll... Ganthor: .... He whistled appreciatively and reared back a pace.

The two olde females exchanged a meaningful glance....both of them were able to read men like books, and this was no exception. He was clearly disturbed by something that was not only his thirst for revenge... Nepenthe sighed and continued with her standing still....resisting the urge to race through the forests of the night. Arikel: Then we should go get some rest. Siren: Finally....somebody makes sense. Nepenthe: Si... The eldest bowed to the people, and bid them a temporary farewell. She turned and vaulted away on her staff, moving quickly through the village until she cleared it and was in the trees. Once there, she quickly climbed the nearest tall sycamore and curled up in the foilage.

Great....here we go again. *silently digs grave and crawls in*

He was fast asleep, that she could tell...his aura had muted itself to the point where she could barely sense him.... Carefull, she slid out of his grasp and padded silently out of the grotto. With a simple movement, she slid into the warm waters of the waterfall and relaxed. It was the gift of being a goddess, be alone, and not be alone. He cared for her, and she loved it. His kindness. It touched her. She always loved the way he tried to look out for her. And the way he worried. Although he couldn't see it, she knew he was worried....and the thought tickled her, made her want to smile.
-
She smiled....to herself, and partly for his benefit. Although she couldn't see him, and his aura was muted in this place...it was practically screaming out for her mind to take advantage of. He gasped as she dug her nails in, and he pinched her ruefully. They held eachother quietly for some time, and he looked down. Not only was she fast asleep, but she was also moving her lips in her sleep...he smiled. Her eyes were wide open, staring vacantly, but they didn't bother him much. After knowing her for so long, they didn't bother him much, even if they bothered the normal villages....even her father. Ilekea feigned sleep, enjoying the tendrils of his aura twisting around her darkly. She sighed and rolled her neck slowly, still appearing to be asleep. Asura: ....
-
With calm sure steps, Ilekea left the group and headed past the sancum and the village, until she reached a long low hanging waterfall. She pushed aside the branches of the palms and entered the side grotto. Moving quickly, she crawled inside and sat down on the futon. Her hair shook itself free and she brushed it with a branch.... Then she laid down and stared, unseeing, up at the ceiling....water dripped down the sides and into the stone jars placed at intervals. She closed her eyes....not like it mattered. And waited.
-
She woke from her slumber, eyes opening and closing. Her pupils dialated and she looked around.....finding nothing out of the ordinary....she stood and cleaned up her campground. She pulled apart the left over meat and quickly consumed it. When she was finished, she looked around and then jumped high, wings stretching out. Her body tensed, and she looked again. His temple was within range. She buried her belongings and sealed it with an elemental curse, then pulled off her tunic and wrapped the skirt tighter around her waist. The skins around her chest went, they wouldn't help either....especially if the rumors were true. And the day was very hot.... Nepenthe: You'd better be ready for a rude awakening....Blue Mage. With a vicious snap of her wings, she shot into the air once more and flew high and fast over the trees... She cleared thef orest, and made it to the stone wall enclosing the temple of the Blue Mage. She smiled and landed easily. The doors opened for her, with a simple word. Once inside, she looked around. Then saw it.

Sabir: I hate being in debt. I'll deal with your soreness problem right now. Xy: How? The female in question walked into the bathroom, where she had stashed her various items, necessary for cleanliness....and then she found what she was looking for. Herbal case. She picked up up, and walked back into the bedroom, then sat down on her bed, opening it. He looked at her questioningly.... She smiled and rooted through the items before pulling out a small jar of something. Sabir: Lie down. This might feel a bit tingly at first, but it helps. Xy: What is it? Sabir: ....my secret. She opened the jar, and a pungent, herbal scent filled the room, not alltogether unpleasant, but a bit strange.... With three fingers, she scooped out a portion, rubing it into her hands, then began to slowly push it into his back, starting at the scapulae, then moving down the spinal cord....spreading it evenly. He sighed, her touch was gentle, but smooth. The ointment stung for a second, then changed into a calm relaxed feeling. She smiled and dug in deeper, reaching into his muscles.....then she stopped....and stood up. She brushed off her hands and sat down once more. He looked up. Xy: Where did you learn how to do that? Sabir: None of your buisness.... With a mysterious smile, she folded her fingers gracefully and closed her eyes.

High above the new Laporin, a new star flared into being. It pulsed brightly, then faded to a calm easy beat. The people on the planet looked up, smiled, and then continued with their work....rebuilding, restarting life, begining once again. Mechery watched their efforts from her throne, and then turned her gaze once more to the new star that had been born. Cinoris, perched on the lintel, watched as well. Mechery: She is strong. Cinoris: Someone like her would not go down easily....I am glad she's still here. Mechery: Her husband is still around, as is his spawn. Cinoris: Should I go? Mechery: Send Tornait. He will help. Cinoris: What about the star? Will she talk to her daughter? Mechery: That depends on the child herself...... The Spirit of the Winds turned to a jetblack plover preening nearby and nodded. Tornait spread his jagged wings, then flew from Punhar to the world waiting for him....

Ganthor roared and reared up on his hind legs, Nepenthe grabbed the reins and wheeled him around, only to come face to face with the shadow. Immediatly, the both of them drew back in the air and hovered. This was obviously bad news....and the bloodlust was quick to fade. She trilled to herself, and Ganthor sent her a quick thought. "Tell the others." "They can not hear." "What about Lacroix?" She turned her face down, the shadow was still, and the others were quickly noticing and waiting..... It stared down at them, unmoving and cold. Nepenthe sat on Ganthor's moving back and crossed her staff over her chest, forming the bio shield around them.
