*raises one hand* I wasn't even in the same room as you people...

Nepenthe smiled and planted both her hands on the ground. The breif pause for air had given her enough energy to suck down the darkness. She sucked in the air through her teeth and concentrated. Siren did likewise, and the two roared out together. "Infinite Earth, Mother of all things, Submit unto my will!" The ground shook and heaved, then the golems burst upwards, in the forms of several stone spikes. Several zombies were impaled at once, others crushed between the slabs. Nepenthe chuckled to herself....inside joke.

Weilding blade and staff expertly, the two women slashed, kicked, bit, and shoved their way to the center of town.... The shadow golem circled around them warrily....and like many of her singular creations, lasted for a very long time. Nepenthe smiled and continued with her brutal assult. Siren chuckled and continued her swift motions....and they made it to the center, breathing lightly, but covered in sweat. The older of the two bowed low, tipping her staff against her side and willing the golem to her body once more. Nepenthe: Greetings. My name is Nepenthe... Siren: Siren. Arikel: Are you both human? The two looked at eachother quietly, then looked back. Nepente/Siren: Kinda.

She quietly stripped and climbed into the shower, then shivered until the water heated up. When she was through, she kicked open the doors, towel clad....and headed for the bedroom. Once there, she brushed out her hair and pulled it out of her way, then pulled on the usual lingere and pants... Finally, she tossed the towel onto the rack, and it wrapped itself on easily....and then she smiled. Perfect enough. She crawled into bed and sat down with the down sheets pulled over her shoulders. Jaudiar: G'night Rae. Siren. Siren: Don't sleep too late. Rae: Nighty....say hi to Liam tomorrow. Jaudiar: Why can't I sleep late? Siren: You're training with me at 7. The oldest of the three women groaned and sank deeper under the covers.
-
Jaudiar: You're adorable either way. She grinned and pecked him on the cheek, then slung her jacket over her shoulder and sauntered out. Rae gave him the thumbs up/wink combo then followed quickly. Once inside the condo she shared with the other two women, she tossed her clothes into the hamper hanging from the wall, then went to the kitchen and poured herself a glass of Sprite. Rae: Gonna hit the rocks? Jaudiar: More like cloud nine. Cheers. She toasted Rae then knocked it back, and promptly burped. Jaudiar topped off the glass again, then drained it easily. She stood up, crushed the can in her fist, then walked to the bedroom and flopped down on the futon. Rae: ...you really like him then. Jaudiar: I guess so. Should I know for sure? Rae: You could be the only one who could bring him a degree of sanity. Jaudiar: We all play our parts. She smiled suddenly at a fond memory, then leaned back and stretched her spinal cord.

The female raised one palm and the rock golems disapeared, and she summoned a single dark golem to twist through the shadows and follow their movements. Nepenthe: What were you saying about dirt clods? Siren: I rest my case. Nepenthe: .... She sucked in air through her teeth and shut her eyes....as if she was experiencing pleasure, then smiled and opened them again. Nepenthe: Golem of shadow, hearken to my voice. It twitched where it was hidden and swiveled it's body to hear her better. Nepenthe: Do not hinder. Discover their meaning.

Jaudiar: ....rat bastard. She kicked his prone form and sheathed her blade. Then she turned and opened the deadbolts, then kicked the door wide open. Rae smiled and waited for the authorities to arrive. Liam grinned and wipped his chin. Jaudiar: The missing tooth thing can be easily fixed. Liam: Oral surgery.....goody. Jaudiar: How about I snap your neck so you don't feel a thing? Rae: *snicker* Jaudiar: Or maybe I just do a tournequet around your face.

A tall female was reclining on a rock ledge, quietly listening to the sounds of the village below. The guards were lizards, the people were indigenous, somewhat bizare, and only half related to her. Her spirit half was wild and untamed....and manifested itself in her blindness, her empathy, and her beast tounge. She sighed turned to one side. Sightless eyes open and staring. Her ears tilted from one side to the other and she stood up and jumped down from the ledge. The lizards were marching in, led by the captain, Lantur. She smiled. Two Monitor lizards were dragging a female human...by the smells and sounds of it. And when she turned on her other Sight, she could see the female was from the outside. Ilekea smiled and walked over to her father's throne. Then she sat down and waited patiently. As the preistess of Lolth, people avoided her, and feared her....life wasn't so bad being blind. Ilekea: ...from the outside. Lord Taiek: Who are you? Riana: ...umm, I'm Riana. Your, highness? Ilekea: Lordship. The human female quickly corrected herself and bowed low. Ilekea: What are you here for? Riana: My transportation was sucked through a whirlpool, and I landed here, it was an accident! I didn't mean to intrude on your....island? Are we on an Island? The lord of the people nodded quietly. Ilekea stood up and bowed to her father, then spoke to him in a quiet undertone. He nodded once more and folded his arms. The audience was over. He dismissed the people, and the Monitors let her go. Ilekea turned her sightless eyes upon the female human and beckoned to her.

Nepenthe: ...rise. Creatures of earth. A tall female planted both her feet firmly on the ground, then bent down and palmed the earth. Immediatly, three golems burst up from the rocks and surrounded her defensively, bodies pulsing with power. She stood up easily and jumped to one of their shoulders, staff in hand. The female smiled broadly. This was so much fun. Nepenthe: Attack. Do not leave yourself open. Like all of the golems she created, they obeyed her every order perfectly...fighting well, she smiled more. This was almost perfect. But acording to her last count, they didn't have more than 15 minutes of fighting left before they became defensive...then hit the ground. She shrugged and fought alongside, easily ducking around the monsters and planting her staff through several backbones...

Jaudiar sighed and quietly slipped out the back door and edged her way from the balconey to the sliding glass door on the other side of the apartment. She surruptitiously cut away the lock and slid herself inside....almost lazily. Pizaro was in plain view, along with Liam. The first thing she noticed was the Desert Eagle, the second was his position. Vulnerable....but not yet. He wasn't too high strung yet, but Liam's bleeding face wasn't a strong encouragement. The quiet padding behind her told all about Rae's presence. Jaudiar slowly slipped herself behind the perefrial vision of Pizaro, slingblade resting in her palm. He still didn't turn, but Liam's eyes registered....The hellcat smiled and quietly positioned herself behind him, and Rae had gone to earth. From the other side, she could see her standing still. Pizaro groweld at Liam and raised his hand again. Suddenly, an icy cool voice broke into the conversation.[ Jaudiar: ...break that and you're paying for it. Pizaro: Hello Hellcat. He didn't turn around, unfortunatly. Jaudiar narrowed her eyes and stepped closer, slidding one leg around his waist, purring. Jaudiar: If you let him go, we'll make it easy for you....I promise. Pizaro: Yeah, what's your promise worth? Jaudiar:. ..quite a bit actually.

The altacia equine looked up suddenly, ears twitching. His companion immedaitly swung her spear on and twisted the halter straps around his face. With a swift leap, she landed on his shoulders, just above the scapula and wing joints, and leaned forward. In one quick clap of his wings, Ganthor took to the skies, tracing the shadow across the moon. Nepenthe smiled and eased back, the reins resting in her hands. If it was who she thought it was, there would be no problems. He howl barked to the night creatures, and a variety of trills, whistles, barks, and howls answered him. Nepenthe harmonized with her own signature trill, and everything was silent. Nepenthe: ...we've got a few unhappy beasts tonight... Ganthor: They sense darkness descending. Nepenthe: ...well, come on. Let's go talk to it's incarnation.

Nepenthe: Good hunting Rinalph! The orc looked up to see the female nephil winging up fast, then spiraling away into the low hanging clouds. He waved, then sat down again. Nepenthe smiled and continued, dipping up into the sunlight now and again. The cold vapors were icing down her wings.... She sighed and continued on her path upwards to the northlands, where she knew that the Blue Mage was sleeping. She kept straight and didn't sway to earth until far later. She touched down inside a quiet grove of pine trees and leaned back againt the thick trunk of one of them. Eyes closed, body relaxed, she quietly opened her pack and pulled out the tinder box and the ingredients for Jenica's deerhead soup. Fingers moving with the practice of long years, she set fire to a small clump of dried grasses, then added twigs and then logs.... The stew bubbled furiously, and she set it down next to her resting place. Nepenthe quickly ran through the rituals of opening the eyes of the sleeping mage. For cold sleep, run the hands across the face, draw blood from the left palm, then the right. Mix together and pour into the magic circle you create with your own. Say the words hidden in the tounge of the black ones. Clap twice, open your eyes, touch his face and call him out. Nepenthe: ...this'll be a cinch. I hope.

She laughed uproariously, then hopped down and walked in beside him, softly, quietly. Siren greeted them, coffee in one hand, scone in the other. She gestured to the sideboard, loaded with food. Jaudiar smiled and stepped in front of Liam. Jaudiar: Ladies first. Liam: Age before beauty. She turned and glared at him venemously, hand straing to his daggar. Liam: I take it back! Jaudiar: ....good. Siren: Oh brother. Rae: I think they're adorable together! Liam/Jaudiar: .....

Gosh darnit. Oh well. I hope ya'll have fun. Except for you CWB. I can just see you rubbing this in my face 12 years from now. Rest asured, I will be voting for this again....and ploting your demise.....Charles.

The female hellcat watched Liam exit the facility, muttering to himself and shaking his head. She dropped down from her position on top of a nearby rooftop and smiled into the face of his drawn gun. He opened his eyes and looked at her, then put the gun back into its holster. She smiled and took the blade away from his crotch. Liam: Ee....too close for comfort. Jaudiar: So what's the verdict? Liam: I'm legally insane. Hormones ya know... Jaudiar: I wouldn't know. I was over that awhile back... Liam: How old are you again...? Jaudiar: I've gone mysteriously deaf and haven't the faintest idea of what you're talking about. Siren: She's 26!!! Jaudiar colored furiously and looked at Siren's rapidly retreating backside. The younger female turned and waved, happily out of range. Liam grinned at Jaudiar's red countenance. Liam: Is she right? Jaudiar: I just turned 26. I had my birthday while we were watching your torturing. And by the way, my scars are uglier than yours... She smiled at him, then kissed his cheek playfully and danced out of range.

Nepenthe quietly continued to polish her spear...wishing she had the authority to smack that bastard in the chops. She-elf indeed. Yeah right. Ganthor nuzzeled her, passing on his calm adittude. She sighed and leaned back. He was right of course. No matter how incorrect that last statement had been, she needed to remain calm if she was to live. Ganthor looked into her eyes and sent. She smiled. "Do you think Lacroix is trustworthy?" "Indeed Ganthor. Lethe would've warned me." "She can only see hearts, not futures." Nepenthe looked into the night. Then looked back at him. "She sees enough."

So WArlock.....your character that was with mine is dead. Okay. *scratches head* And the only reason Sabir is so young is because she took forever to mature. End of questions and confusion. I think.

The female howl barked, and Ganthor came bounding back, a half dead deer in his mouth. Nepenthe chuckled and cracked it over the head quickly. The creature went limp, then was dropped to the ground. She smiled and pointed her left palm at it. She muttered something and the hide came off completely and disapeared. Ganthor: ......ghhhhaa.... Nepenthe: Go ahead. He opened his mouth and blasted it with a fireball. The deer's smoking remains were quickly consumed by the beast and the humanoid...the remains were disapeared as well...presumably to her elder sister, who could still sew blinded as she was. Nepenthe sat back and polished her spear.....Ganthor chuckled and nipped her side playfully.

Nepenthe: I wasn't hired for my stretegic planning. I was hired for my prowess in fighting. When you discover the secret to our success, let me know. I'll be tending my beast. She bowed low, tipping her forehead with her staff, then quietly padded out. They looked at her like she was insane, then turned back. She was obviously serious, and could afford to be so. Once outside, she looked at Lacroix out of the corner of her eye, then opened her mouth and trilled long and loud. A huge roar came from the distance, and Ganthor reapeared once more, claws extended, wings moving easily. He landed next to her silently and nuzzeled her outstretched hands. She chuckled and hugged him around the neck. Lacroix: That's your ride? Nepenthe: None better for me. This is Ganthor. Altacia equine. The named bowed his head to Lacroix and looked at his mount. Alqwerik: He doesn't talk. Nepenthe: His vocal cords aren't quiet like yours....but he is smart enough to match wits with a human warrior. I'd rather be with him than anyone else.

She chuckled and grew partial clothing around her most important areas, then quietly twisted her way through the trees, following the wolf, digging into the bark for traction. He looked up at her. This time, she had a short skirt wrapped around her waist and another peice of cloth around her chest. She smiled down at him and waved once more. He woofed softly and continued through the forest. She grew her metal staff and quietly vaulted ahead of him until she was on the ground, running right ahead of him. He snarled and pushed ahead of her, and continued loping. She vaulted once more and they quickly cleared the forest floor and came into a small grove, covered with moss, a small pool in the center, fed by a low waterfall. She looked back at him, then melted away into the water with a single splash.

The ragged lines around her waist seemed to echo the ragged feathers of her raven form. She sighed and pulled out her staff, polishing the hardened cherrywood to a dull sheen. Lisa: Do you miss them terribly Lethe? Lethe: Not really.....we were distant. Our race was like that. Siren: Then what's with the spider blood? Lethe: It's the sign of my clan. We were all pledged to Loloth, fear goddess. Lisa: I don't think she exists. Siren: It's all in how you see things.
-
Lethe opened her arms to the moon and burst into her true form, tattered clothes coming around her body once more. She arched her back and stretched out the kinks....the she turned. Lisa: ...hello. Lethe: Do you remember them well? Lisa: Sometimes. What do you have? She held out her hand, revealing a small cut crystal vial, full of something thick and blue...then she closed her fist again. Lisa: Spider blood. The other female raven nodded quietly and put it back in her pocket. It would be a dark night. Even with the three quarter moon shining over head.

Nepenthe rolled up her sheets and pushed the futon into the corner. Then she pulled on the new deerskint tunic provided by Jenica's swift needlework. She fastened her braided leather belt, and twisted on the drawstrings...and pushed down the sleeves. Then she combed out her thick black hair, braided it, tied it back, and secured it with leather thongs. She turned and pulled on her boots, then fasted her earings...and strapped her gauntlets on securely. They walked into the kitchen, to find Siren dragging in a dead grouse. Jenica laughed and began to pluck the feathers. The female nephil went to the corner and pulled out her pack, then she loaded it with the food, tools, and tinder box she needed. She swung it on, lower than normal, adjusted the straps, and turned towards the door. Siren: ....fine. Go get killed. Nepenthe: I'll be fine. Anyone who tries to mess with me will taste iron or blood. Jenica: Jah will guide your footsteps. Nepenthe: Keep out of trouble, and guard the beasts as best you can. I've got to split. She waved goodbye and leapt out the window, wings ready. She twisted her way upwards, then took her way north....moving fast enough to avoid trouble. Beneath her, she could see the orc standing in the fields, a unicorn talking to a woman, and the herd of deer racing below. Nepenthe sucked in a gulp of clear air and clapped her wings together once more. Her aim was near perfect, and the flock of Rasper's hawks around her whispered the news of life. She took it all in, then adjusted her course.
