Craig: ...oh. The worst? Sil: I have suffered differently from you. My pain was sometimes avoidable. But my pride causes my agony. Not mutant haters. Craig: ....pride. That's what drives mutant haters? Besides fear? Sil: Some people think they have the right to be the most powerful on this Earth. Any threat is bad. So of course... Craig: It must be removed. Sil: You're smarter than you first made me think. With a tilting wink, she turned to go, then remembered something. And turned. Faced him. Sil: ...before you were here, Craig was a name well known. It was also the name of the man I once loved. He was killed by Magneto. The others might shy away from that. But I will not. Craig: I'm sorry. She smiled partly. It was enough that he knew. She would respect the dead...keep the past the way it was. Buried.

In complete compliance with her natural character, Jaudiar sat back, and began to apply another coat of black to her nails. Rae grinned and sat down as well. Jaudiar: Hmm? Rae: Why do you insist on always wearing black? Jaudiar: I must be mourning my lost childhood. She winked and waved her black nailed hands in front of her face mysteriously. Rae chuckled and looked up at the night sky. Rae: ...whatever. Liar. Jaudiar: Maybe it's just me. I always liked black. It's scary. Liam: Like....you...? Jaudiar: Can it bucky.

The baby kicked, and Valeigh doubled up again. It shouldn't be able to do that so quickly....she wasn't even visibly pregnant yet. Valeigh straightened herself and looked down at her flat stomach. No changes.... Rico: What's wrong? Valeigh: It's kicking. And it's been what? 3 days? Rico: Maybe it's your blood. Speeding up gestation. Valeigh: The sooner the pain is gone, the better. I've never been pregnant before. Rico: I'm sure you'll do fine. He put his arm around her comfortingly, and smiled down at her worried face. With gentle hands he stroked her hair, lips, eyes. She calmed herself, then placed his hands on her stomach. The baby kicked once more, but this time softly....like it was calming down with the mother. Rico: It's already taking on it's own personalities.... Valeigh: It is a she. And we will call her Jenica.

The diamond like ears of Valeigh twitched slightly and she cleared her mouth. They were talking about her again. But this time, she remembered what she had been doing moments before. She drank from her water and stood up. Then she slowly bent over backwards, moving easily....stretching out her spine until it completely relaxed. Rico: Do you have to...? Like a whipcrack, she straightened up again, grinning sheepishly. Valeigh: Sorry. It helps me relax. She was about to comment further, when her there was a twinge in her stomach.....not from food either. Her eyes contracted and dialated. That was bad...

She sighed and removed one glove. Then she silently tapped the side of his face with the ball of her thumb. He drew back, shocked and terrified. Something had automatically passed between them, but it wasn't palpable....he looked at her, and her eyes were glittering yellow instead of the insiduous silver he had seen. Craig: Wha-? Sil: I absorb the life force of anyone I touch. And for mutants, I take their powers for a time....you're lucky. I only touched you for a short second. If I had held on, you'd be either unconcious or dead. Craig: ....oh....that must suck. Sil: Yes it does sometimes. But it's saved my life. With a quick motion, she pulled her glove back on and floated up easily, like swimming. She hovered slightly, smiling once more. Sil: There is one nice thing about it though? Craig: And that is? Sil: One mutant gave me her entire being, so I'm bulletproof, waterproof, able to fly, and lift about 50 tons. Flipping head over heels and landing lightly, she grinned at him and landed on all fours.

Well, the bio first is what we're all acustomed to. Maybe it's better that way. And to draw my own would take time.......and bleh, gag. No, please don't make me, although I could. So I will steal one from an online comic that is based out of the imagination, not a realy character. She's original, and stuff. And WHOPEE FOR ME! HAHAHA!! Overseer of Animus, with an aquamarine. -

Uh....I hate life. *hides* And I know, the attatchment is the Watery Card for CC Sakura...so sue me. I wasn't in the mood to draw something, scan it, and say...oo, lookie at this original thing. So yeah. Now on to the try-out spar. Oh gods of the spar, do not fail me now. ~~~~~~~~ Position applied for: Overseer of the Animus: Water. Nepenthe tensed her legs and leapt up, staff in hand. The werewolf snarled at her from below and bared both claws. From behind the clouds, a full moon showed. Cursing her ill luck under her breath, Nepenthe shifted her position on the branches of the oak. This was going to take a little work. The loup garou howled and jumped to the nearest tree, waiting for her to move. "Eat my iron." With a swish and a thud, Nepenthe swung her staff against the werewolf's ribs. There was an audible cracking noise, then she fell to the earth, landing on all fours. Blood driped from her cut mouth and she swore. This sucked. Majorly. The beast laughed and licked his lips. The smells she was giving off reeked of pheremones and fresh roses. A delicious, heady scent. Nepenthe growled at it and readied her staff once more. The loup garou sprang forward, claws outstretched. She ducked under his attack and shouted aloud. The staff missed, but the beast leapt out of the way. With a quick movement, she brought her slingblade out and closed one eye. "....petrify." Her eyes flashed amber, then black. Purple mist swirled out from her hand and spread out around the werewolf. It panicked, but by then it was too late. It was frozen, and Nepenthe took the oppertunity to spring forward and plunge her blade into his chest. It's eyes flared, but it remained imobile. The blade had peirced through the heart, and the lacings of silver took hold. "Arigato. Loup garou." Then the spell vanished, and with it went the last traces of the werewolf. Nepenthe picked her blade up and sheathed it. Then she turned and faced the moon. "I thank you as well." -

Interesting.....I will need your help, as a few things are rather unclear to me at this time. The attatchment is now the physical manifestation of Ochkik Haddah. Name: Nepenthe Background: Calm and serious, this 19 year old woman is generally considered to be a loner and a freak of nature. However, she is neither insane, nor a complete introvert. She only appears to be so from the outside. Underneath it all, she is truly compassionate, hopeful, and has a tendency to be gentle. This clashes with her strong desire to both fight and be strong, but she's working on that. Attitude: Until provoked, she is calm, playful, sweet, and friendly. When irked, she becomes dark, seductive, and generally saturnine. Physical Appearance: Age: 26 Eye Color: Liquid gold, shadowed with red Hair Color: Black/brown Skin Color: Translucent Height: 5'7" Weigh: 120 lbs Clothing: See later attatchment. Special Abilities/Strengths: Empathy, the ability to sense the emotions, fears, and hopes of other people around her. This also spills over to beasts of the land, sea and air. When she is serious and concentrates completely, everything becomes transparent to her, and she can see everything about one person. However, this is draining, and is usually only a last resort in times of need. Summoning: From beasts to spirits, this is something she has always excelled in. The art was taught to her by the witch that gave her a home, but it has never failed her. However, she has not perfected it, and it often is unreliable. Weaknesses: Wind: Being a water element, this would obviously freeze her into a state of imobility. Light: Her eyes are sensitive to changes, and this would obviously cause her to become blind....rendering her powers useless. Transformations: Feral Sight: Transforms her into one of her water summons, see attatchment for details. Gives her the power of her element, but also makes her far more vulnerable to wind. Weapons: Staff and blade Iron Soul: A staff made of iron and covered in the hard wood of the cherry tree. Very useful, and bonded to her. This means that anyone who tries to separate her from it would be either beaten badly, or simply unsucessful. Three rings are in constant motion around the top, and give off an amberish glow. Slingblade: A bloodblade, formed with her newborn blood and the metal from a falling star. It is only about 10 inches long, but is unbreakable and flexible. It has served her well, and responds to thought rather than touch. The aquamarine, her sacred stone, is set into the handle, and the blade never leaves her skin. Special Attacks: Deep Surround: Water based attack, creates a sucking whirlpool to drown the opponent and the immediate area. Mass Zennis: The manipulation of the natural energy around her. It manifests itself as tendrils of blue energy and can be changed with her thought patterns. De-spell: Breaks all magic spells around her, depending on the force....it will either backfire or work as planned. When a great deal of power is applied to this, it will halt the progress of everything, including time. But only for a short moment. Maybe only about 45 seconds at the most. Silver Kiss: Usually only for a member of the opposite sex, this attack will not only render the male helpless, it will also drain energy from him. Through either the mouth or the neck, this attack will do a great deal of damage, depending on the time she holds on. Lord of Nightmares: A summon to brink Ochkik Haddah, the LoN to her side. It will not only drain her energy for a time, but also leave her vulnerable to attack. This is a last resort. Far Sight: This will give her a swift glimpse of the future....based on what she has already experienced. It is dangerous, and will not always show her what she wishes. But it is helpful in times of need, if erratic. Rue Arience: Summons a water demon to her side, to destroy the foe. This is the most reliable of her summons, and has not failed her yet. Synchronize: This puts her at the exact same level as her opponent, giving her the same strengths and weaknesses. It is not only difficult, but takes time and planning. If she messes up, it will most likely fail or give her some bizare deformity that fades with time. Petrify: Just what it sounds like. This will not only use the power of the dark serpent to halt her enemy, it will also turn the unsuspecting into stone. There is no cure. Except maybe holy water. -
Valeigh: It doesn't matter. I have no desire to find out what you've been up to for so long. Spyder: ...*mutter* Tell me about it... Athen: Huh? Valeigh: Nothing. So now what? Rico: I'm hungry. Athen: Oo, me too! Valeigh smacked herself in the forehead when her hand....this was starting to get really repetitive.

Writing Today's Poem [M -- As a Precaution]
Raiha replied to Heaven's Cloud's topic in Creative Works
So I sang, But the words were old, They echoed dully, Moving in my mind. I sat down, And the birds saw me, They cried out aloud, And they were clear. But my voice, It is not what it was, Maybe it is time, The passage of it we can not hide from. I tried once more, But the words failed me, And I was lost, So they bled like ink on wet paper. Oh well. I tried. And I failed. Wasn't good enough. For me. For him. For the world. -
Cool......she's gonna cause his death. I can see it now...*fade to white* No really. It's good. Kelly's tight, but she's too much trouble. And I quote: "Fool's aren't born, pretty girls make them in their spare time."

With a nod of satisfaction, Jenica threaded the last strand in, then tied it off. She whisked it off the loom and swirled the creation around her shoulders. Nepenthe smiled and clapped her hands. Nepenthe: You've done it again! Siren: It's lovely! The small female smiled and nodded. They were right of course. The threads were so fine, each caught the light and held it for a long time....before switching to another color. It was obviously magical, but it didn't shout it out. She smiled again and quietly folded it away. It would keep them warm during the winter yet to come, and it would reflect away angry eyes. Rinalph: It's pretty. Nepenthe: That's Jenica's job. Jenica: Yeah, I guess so. Siren: You're always making something....so what's next? Jenica: Well, it's harvest time tomorrow, and the skin is done steeping....so I'll prepare that and make another tunic. Nepenthe runs through hers really fast. The named nephil blushed slightly and hid her face in her wings.

Jaudiar: ...that can be argued. She chuckled to herself, and quietly slipped the last belt of ammo over her shoulder. Like he said, no sense in going back empty handed. Rae: What a nutcase. Jaudiar: Could be worse. Liam: Yeah, I could be like you. Jaudiar: You have ten seconds to run before I open fire. Liam: Um....

The next thing she heard was the click of a blade against her earings. Carmela stiffened, cold steel against her neck. The voice she heard next seemed to be oil flowing over ice...thin and cold. Jaudiar: Take your slut hands off my man bîtch. Carmela: ....who are you? Jaudiar: None of your buisness. Do it. Or I'll give you another peircing. On your neck. The female in question complied, and slowly turned around to face the furious female in front of her. Jaudiar quietly thanked her sister that she was still not visibly pregnant, even after a few months. Eyes glinted silver against the cold metallic sheen of her slingblade, and she showed feral teeth. Carmela stepped back, the person in front her was clearly pissed....and willing to do something about it. Jaudiar quietly laced her fingers into Axle's hand and sheathed her blade. Jaudiar: Get lost. Carmela: ..... Instantly, the eyes of Jaudiar hardened into marble slits, and the energy around her flickered to life.....twisting viciously around her body.

........ooooo, interesting. Very unique. I like it. Inhabitant Name: Ilekea Meaning: Smooth skinned. What are you: A half human, half spiritual being....she is also blind. Description: see attatchment. Clothes are overrated. She never wears much of them.... Occupation: Priestess of the god of Fear: Loloth. Place in your society: Adopted daughter of one of the cheiftans, sees with her spiritual side. This only allows her to see the auras and general shapes of people, but that is enough for her. The tribes keep away from her, fearing the power bestowed upon her by Loloth....but her father loves her. She prefers solitude, given her condition, and often walks by herself, communicating with the beasts of land, sea, and air.

Well yeah, but that doesn't mean you havta embarass me in front of the new people. And stay away from my endtable. It speaks to me....

Lethe crossed her legs and put her arms behind her head. She looked up at the darkening sky, waiting for the first stars of night to appear. It was not that she saw the future in stars, she confirmed it. From what she could already pick up from the ground, the beasts, and the birds of the air....darkness was rising. All she needed was a go ahead from the stars...before she decided to go for her run to the city. Someone would wish to know of this.....and receive information that would not otherwise appear to Him. Arithon. The stars shimmered slightly, and she silently raised one finger to trace the new patterns. North, south west, twist over to the east.....exactly as she thought. She rose to her feet and brushed off her tunic. Things were begining to heat up. She belted her robe and pulled the hood back, then she grasped her cherrywood staff and stretched up. Her feet took off, and she raced through the night, ready to roar her challenge to the skies... Lethe was alive and screaming.

Like the Tasmanian devil....and also because I slaughtered all comers when it came to the game Twister. Hint: I'm really flexible. It also has something to do with the way I look something like Helen Hunt when I'm mad.

Soon after that, loud shrieks of horror and splashing noises came from the general area. They were followed by Siren cursing in ancient Egyptian and Orc howling with agony. Jenica looked up from her weaving, then calmly threaded another strand onto the blanket. Nepenthe smiled and began to preen her feathers with her feral teeth. Jenica: It seems to be going well. She quietly continued whipping the shuttle in her hands back and forth. The fabric she was using was as thin as spider webs, but stronger than silk. She swiftly moved forward and backwards.... Nepenthe pulled out a stray feather and added it to a jar on the wall. They would either fill a matress Jenica was building or be used as quills for the spellbook writing Siren and Nepenthe did sometimes. Nepenthe: ....hmmm. Siren: WE'RE FINISHED!!! The two came crashing back through the trees, dry, clean, and smelling of verbena soap. The sphynx triumphantly pushed the orc in front of her and smiled. Siren: He has a new name! Jenica: Hmm, Gorbag the Strangler? Siren: ....no. Rinalphion! Rinalph: ....oh brother. Siren: ...and when he's human, he's not all that bad looking. Nepenthe: Got a good look everywhere then?

Ananda: Cone on now, leave Mr. Serious-About-His-Work to his duties. She chuckled and flew over upside down, and summoned a swift burst of wind, carrying Alaustin over Isthanae's head and back to where she was earlier. Alaustin: ...Hey! Ananda: So anyways.... Alaustin: Have you ever had a child before? Ananda: I had one once. With Lingh. Bilouhou took him for his own. Alaustin: The White tiger on the Moon.....why did he want a child? Ananda: I do not care to know. He is dead to me. She sighed to herself and quietly continued on her way, a small tune humming itself under her breath.
