[COLOR=royalblue][i]As he began to move himself lower and lower towards me, I could feel a flutter in my stomach, but quickly dismissed it as nervousness. This was not something to fear...I closed my eyes and arched my back up. Rico smiled and pressed down, pinning me to the bed. I gritted my teeth as he touched his lips to my neck and willed myself to relax. Energy began to build up behind my eyes, pleasure mixed with fear.....a delicious mix.[/i] Valeigh: Rico...? Rico: Mmmmm... Valeigh: I love you. [i]His eyes opened wide, then half shut again, and he smiled.[/i][/COLOR]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]Valeigh's dreams were puzzeling. She couldn't remember using magic, and all she remembered was seeing a magic circle. Then things went dark. It wasn't clear....but maybe it had something to do with her dealings with a long dead Lightbearer.....it was the only possible explination.[/i] Spyder: ...do you think Valeigh is a threat? Harlequin: Possibly, but she couldn't overcome the three of us. [i]The new Sellum looked out the window into the area where the magic circle had once been. Then she looked back and gave him a look......perhaps it wasn't so. Valeigh tossed and turned, unable to find peace of mind...[/i][/COLOR]

[COLOR=royalblue]While we're on that subject...I like Merrick. She's very cool. Mostly because she gets drunk alot. ;) Last night was a full moon. Just thought I'd say that for you all. *hides claws behind back*[/COLOR]

[COLOr=royalblue][i]The first thing she felt was warmth, and the first thing she heard was a heartbeat next to her ears. She sighed and brought herself closer to the comforting rhythm. Rico looked down; her breathing pattern had changed, and she seemed to be asleep, not in a catatonic state. Spyder smiled and taped the side of her head with her index. Then she stood up and left him to deal with her. For now.[/i] Valeigh: Ummm.... Rico: Hello. Valeigh: Hey. How did I get in here? Rico: After you passed out, I brought you inside...... Valeigh: Did I do something wrong?[/COLOR]

[COLOr=royalblue][i]Moon Chaser rose from her crouch, and slipped her blade back into its sheath. That had been too easy. She snarled through her teeth, then silently floated up to her window....the lock turned for her and she slowly entered. When inside, she turned, drew the drapes, locked all the doors, then stripped down to nothing. Sil ran to her bed, and curled up into a fetal position. "Why did you leave? You became darkness." Questions chased themselves through her mind, dreams flying out of her eyes. Fearful, and completely impossible. Craig's face, mingling with Magneto's. It was wrong. It shouldn't be happening. "You shouldn't of done that. Now we will fall." She tried to justify herself, but felt like she was falling. Endlessly, towards the ground..... Sil hit the floor beside her bed, covered in sweat. She rose to her feet and ran her fingers through her hair.[/i][/COLOR]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]She swayed, then fell face forward onto the ground. Her arms stretched out before her, as if she was embracing the earth. And she was oblivious to the cold and the fear. Rico touched her body, and was rewarded with a cool soft glow around her entire being. She turned, and was still gone.[/i] Rico: Valeigh? [i]The girl in question tilted her head slightly, without any real movement, then she slumped down again. "I'm so tired......everything is faded. Dark."[/i][/COLOR]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]Her eyes half shut, and she swayed as if she was intoxicated. Then her eyes shut, and her mouth went s lack. With a soft moan, she sank to her knees.[/i] Valeigh: So will we all....despair. And die.[/COLOR]

[COLOr=royalblue]Sil: We can always make them understand later. This mansion is .... Adriana: Home. We can't let them take it. Andrew: But what if they attack us? Sil: Then.... [i]The beginings of a smile began to form around her face, and she whipped off one glove. Then she picked up her sword and leveled it.[/i] Sil: We die.[/COLOR]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]She shook her head several times, then her breath began to quickly speed up. Rico put a hand on her shoulder, but she pushed him away. Her eyes glowed blue and she began to speak.[/i] Valeigh: Neftelein. [i]The circle began to glow.[/i] Valeigh: Effratha. [i]The pattern of a seven pointed star etched itself into the center.[/i] Valeigh: Uthwine. [i]It began to radiate energy, unequal to that of any Lightbearer.[/i] Valeigh: Gorjeona. [i]The circle imploded, and shattered the ground. The figures slunk away, but Valeigh was still locked in a trance....breath coming much to fast, eyes still emiting the radiance.[/i][/COLOR]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]Moon Chaser screeched like a banshee and brought the slingblade up to its throat. It struggled breiftly, while she held it around the neck and had one hand digging into his ribs. The movement stopped when it felt the touch of cold steel against its jugular vein. She snarled and Adriana caught up right after her.[/i] Sil: Make one more move and I'll give you another mouth across your throat. [i]The figure gurgled and gasped for air.....the windpipe was closing off. Then it whimpered, and Sil let go. It wouldn't escape....Adriana was protecting the corners.[/i] Adriana: Talk. What are you doing here? ---: .... Sil: .... [i]She sighed and began to remove one of her gloves.[/i][/COLOR]

[COLOR=royalblue]Adriana: Let's go inside. Sil: ...of course. [i]Like silent wraiths, the two rose into the air....and floated towards the mansion. Easily, like breathing. In a few moments, they were standing on the roof again, looking out at the rising moon. Full moon. A dog moon.[/i] Sil: Bad..... Adriana: We can handle it. Sil: Do you see that? Adriana: It's an asteroid. Look at it's positioning. Sil: Are you sure? [i]The two knew what it was, but it was too much to believe. Sil sank down to her knees and relaxed....out of her hands.[/i][/COLOR]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]She leaned over and put her face towards his. Then she nodded. Rico smiled, then turned and looked at the doors.[/i] Spyder: ...hello. Enjoying yourselves? Valeigh: Of course. What's wrong Sellum? [i]She winked, and the two of them exchanged a short tease.[/i] Spyder: People are coming. Valeigh: Bring it on.[/COLOR]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]She sighed and rubbed her stomach gently, sending Lethe back into a dream filled sleep. Her time was near. Soon the knife would come and she would fall. Down to Angia, then up again to the ethric. Was life really that fleeting? ......perhaps not. Her daughter would live long, and then go through the same thing. Such was the doom of one bound to a Starseed. Be born....live for a time...then give it up. Despair, and die.[/i] Ken: Something wrong? Tarlain: [i]My hour of death is closer than ever....but I welcome it.[/i][/COLOR]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]With smooth easy steps, she walked back to their abandoned room and made herself comfortable. She closed the door and turned the lock, then walked over to the bathroom and started the shower. Turning the water as high as she could stand, she stripped and slipped inside. She stood there for several moments, then went through the motions of cleaning herself......after about half an hour, she stepped out again and wrapped a towel around herself.[/i] Lethe: .....come out Adrian....I'm waiting.[/COLOR]

[COLOR=royalblue]Valeigh: Like this? [i]She tilted her head upwards and kissed him......slowly then closer and deeper. Thoughts twisted themselves around the couple, filling their senses with everything that they had been missing. When she drew away, she was surprised to find herself with tears in her eyes. Rico kissed them, and savored the sweetness that they offered.[/i] Rico: Yes. Just like that. Valeigh: Then I'll never let you go. [i]The two held eachother, waiting for something to come and try to break them apart....[/i][/COLOR]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]She sighed, then walked out of her sanctum and reviewed what she knew to be true. So far, Aimee had never blatantly spoken a word against mutants, but she was not completely normal. The way she had moved belied something else about her that could not be placed......it was something in her stance, or the balance she had so easily mastered. If she was a mutant, and had been pretending this whole time.....[/i] Sil: God damn it. Adrianna: What? Sil: We should've seen that coming. Adrianna: The rush of testosterone? Sil: ...that too. Men just make me sick sometimes. [i]The two of them sat in silence, watching the fish move through the water. Effortlessly....like their leaving.[/i][/COLOR]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]She shook her head sadly. There was nothing but what she knew....for she had seen it all with Him.[/i] Rico: Are you sure? Valeigh: Nothing.....at all. Rico: Then what? Valeigh: We have to make it all by ourseles. But it happens. [i]She smiled up at him, bittersweet smile on her face.[/i][/COLOR]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]She smiled quietly and rubbed her throat.....perhaps it was time to make her own. Sil slipped away into the Japanese gardens, away from the influence of Adrianna, Jack, Xavier...or even Darwin. With calm easy movements, she came around the koi pond, and sat down on a bench. The shrine nearby had already contained the jizo statues she had placed there for her family, and she knew it was time to pray once more. She stepped inside and knelt in front of it, lighting the incense and pressing her head to the floor.[/i] Sil: Guide me please, I am now in this deeper than i wished. They have thrown themselves to the wind. What now should I do? [i]Her lips moved silently for many minutes...then she stood up. She stepped outside and rang the bell. Hands clapped together twice.[/i] Sil: I wish they would come back.[/COLOR]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]She leaned her head against his shoulder and quietly thought about his words. Was he right...? Or was her faith in Ochkik Haddah something more? He had never met Him before.....Rico had never been questioned by Him... But even so.....she had still been allowed to go back. Perhaps he was right. He was. She tilted her head up to his.[/i] Valeigh: .....I believe you. Rico: Then you do not think Haddah has his grip on us? Valeigh: He may think that He has....but he doesn't anymore. [i]With a soft smile, she put her head down again and absentmindedly played with a lock of her hair....[/i][/COLOR]

[COLOR=royalblue]*romantic sigh* *drool* Lestat....that most gorgeous of nightwalkers.....how I wish he was real.[/COLOR]

[COLOr=royalblue]Valeigh: ....and for that I live. [i]She sighed and burried her face in his chest, tired once more....drained from the pain her mind had given to her. Ochkik Haddah had no claim on her, but this Lord of Nightmares would not cease to speak to her. Through mortality and immortality, she would be chased by these things.[/i] Valeigh: Love is more than enough..... Rico: Do you think I have everything you need? Valeigh: There is no me....without you.[/COLOR]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]When Craig woke up, the first thing he saw was a bare hand half an inch from his face. As his gaze focused, he found himself staring into the huge silver eyes of Sil Moon Chaser. She gritted her teeth and gave him a dagnerous look.[/i] Sil: Move and I'll suck your life out.....face first. Craig: The hell is this....? Sil: Do you have any idea how much you've hurt us? The professor just about saved your sorry åss and how do you repay him? [i]He opened his mouth, but the blazing light in her eyes told him to shut up.[/i] Sil: You break the law, damage property that is not yours, put the whole human population up at arms, and gererally act like whinning kids. You make us sick. Me, Adrianna, and the professor. [i]Rant finished...for now, she gloved her hand and crossed her arms.[/i] Sil: Do you have anything else to say in your defense? Not that you ever had one...[/COLOR]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]The fire popped and Valeigh broke away with a start. She brushed her hair out of her face and sighed.[/i] Rico: What is it? Valeigh: Just thinking.....don't mind me. [i]She smiled at him and traced his jawline with her fingers......moving slowly....[/i][/COLOR]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]As soon as the doors opened she felt them. Sil rose to her feet and slipped downstairs, quickly followed by the other two. Thnks to training and skill, they went unoticed.....by the younger men. Swinging from the banister, Moon Chaser landed silently next to the professer.[/i] Xavier: *sigh* ...... Sil: Teenage rebellion? Adrianna: Personified. [i]The two girls were very quiet......this had happened before. But every time, the outcome was different.[/i] Sil: Do you want me to try talking to them? Xavier: It might not have any effect. Adrianna: It won't hurt to try![/COLOR]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]She smiled and slipped it onto her finger. Then she put her arms around him and smiled.[/i] Tarlain [i]Definetly. Thank's for the gift. Ken smiled and held her....then he automatically drew back.[/i] Tarlain: [i]Ow. She looked down. Lethe had just kicked again.....catching Ken this time.
