She rolled over and fell fast asleep....her head resting on his chest, his arms around her. Valeigh had never felt so calm in her life, not even when she was asleep before. Several dreams passed through her stream of being, now fast, and then slow. Spyder holding out her arms to her love.....wolves howling in the distance....and once voice in the background, shouting her name. With a gasp of shock, she stood up, shaking her head. Rico came awake just as fast, and looked at her. Valeigh: .....I'm sorry. Rico: What is it? Valeigh: ....nightmare. Rico: Do you want to talk about it? Valeigh: No. It's better not to bring these things to light.

She looked up when she heard footsteps, and smiled. He was back, and he had something with him. With some difficulty, Tarlain rose to her feet and stretched her arms out. Ken took a running start, then snatched her up in his arms and spun her around. She smiled and purred. Tarlain: I think we just shook up the baby. Ken: I found something you might like... Tarlain: Hmmmmm? Ken: But....you'll have to be careful with it. Tarlain: ..... She dipped her head in impatience, and waited, tail whisking itself...

Axle: ..... Jaudair: Original. She twisted a tendril of her magic around the handle and jerked it free. The note flew into the air, and landed in his hands. She clenched her hand around the daggar and her eyes slitted. Axle: ........I wonder if he's going to get sushi. Jaudiar: Are we going to wait for him then? I'm useless now. Axle: Not entirely. Jaudiar: Close enough. Her eyes half shut in pain. Lethe began to kick once more, this time, it was a reaction to the anger her mother felt, and the aura her father sent out. Jaudiar touched her stomach with her left hand.....wishing it was already over.

Innana watched patiently. She would have to speed things up....or be spitted. The Queen of the Night smiled to herself. The secret would come...after about the 4th beast. "How is she Innana?" "Fine fine....go about your buisness Tarain. Everything's perfect down here." "Unhuh.....sure."

Lethe smiled and put her feet up, moving into the shade. His offer was quiet tempting.....almost worth it. But what could he possibly gain from an alliance with her? Several different options drifted into her mind. Agree and life... Disagree and death....or maybe an eminity....which wouldn't suit her. Aw what the hell. When they got back, she would give them her answer. He was quite a catch......not bad looking at all. Barmaid: Can I get you something? Lethe: I'm fine. Thank you. The young lady turned away and went about her buisness. Lethe looked at her folded hands. Things were definetly starting to change again. Adrien would be after her...but his potential to hurt her was quite minimal. "I'd give him ten days....max." She smiled to herself and crushed her cigarette.

She smoothed his hair and held him tightly. The two held their position for many moments, then Valeigh turned and led him down to the sofa nearby. They sat in complete silence, with the sound of the fire crackling pleasantly. She held his hand in hers and smiled. Valeigh: Bliss. Rico: Do you think so? Valeigh: I'm clean, refreshed, with you..... Rico: Is it just me? Valeigh: .....maybe. The deathless girl rolled onto her side and looked at him lazily.....
-
She leaned back, relaxed, satiated.... The two got out of the tub, mopped up the floor, and went into the bedroom once more. Valeigh went to the closet almost automatically, and pulled out another suit of leather. She smiled and pulled on the clothes, enjoying the smooth feeling the leather provided. Rico did likewise, then turned her around. She bent her head back, looking at him curiously. Valeigh: Hmm? Rico: Just checking. Valeigh: Why? Something wrong with my butt? Rico: Nope, everything's perfect down here. He slapped her playfully, and she shoved back, knocking him over the back.

The female Dragouret smiled broadly, showing feral white teeth. She tilted her head to one side, the very picture of innocence. Tarlain: Whatever would I gain from that? Certainly not your trust. He glared at her, then blushed and looked away. Medra: Please don't do that. Tarlain: Do what? This? She smiled and ran the tip of her tounge along her teeth, feeling the sharp points of her fangs. Eyes half shut, she looked at him, tail whisking and twitching with her mood. Medra stared back, face completely serious. Tarlain: I have done nothing to you. Besides look into your mind. I swear it on my name and bloodline. Medra: And what is that worth? Tarlain: .....It's a very big swear. It it is untrue, I will die. Medra: Good enough. With a smooth slide of her legs, she stood up and looked at the darkening sky. Almost immediatly after, it began to rain. No, it began to pour. Torrents, driven down by the rain and clouds. Tarlain smiled, and shook the water from her eyes. Her hair clung around her face, and her skin shimmered in the light.

Tarlain leaned back, waiting. This life always took so long for her. She smiled and touched Ken's closed eyes. Ken: Hmmm? Tarlain: You look great when you're asleep. He chuckled and touched her eyes as well. She winked at him and snuggled closer, ready for sleep. When she opened them hours later, she was alone. Ken was not nearby, that much was sure. But she wasn't worried. He would always come back for her. Lethe kicked and stretched slowly.... Tarlain: Just hang in there sweetie.

Sil: I'm not going to do anything. I'm going to let him and her have fun. Darwin: ....doesn't sound right. Coming from you anyways.... Sil: I didn't say I would let them live. The two looked at her, slightly confused. Moon Chaser winked and smiled broadly. Her head tilted to one side, and it was obvious she was teasing.....but the slight glint in her eyes wasn't completely honest. She leaned back on the pillows and tasted her wine...rolling it over her tounge. Darwin stood up and stretched. Adriana: ....so really. What will you do? Sil: I don't need to do much. It might not go well if I told Aimee who Craig really was. But should I really bother? Darwin: You'd start a panic. Adriana: But it would almost be worth it. Sil: ....maybe....

She slowly lathered up his back and the two were soon clean. She leaned down and drained the bathtub, filling it with clean water afterwards. They sank back into eachother's arms and relaxed. Valeigh smiled and touched his lips with her fingers. Valeigh: Relaxed? Rico: Completely. Valeigh: Perfect..... The two leaned closer, and Valeigh gently brushed her lips against his....

Valeigh: Aw, what the hell. She grinned and kicked the door open. Then she calmly stripped and sank into the bath....eyes shut. Instant bliss. Rico stared. Not only did she leave the door open, she was also invitibg him in. Didn't she have any sense of modsty? Valeigh: Come on Rico, we're not going to get another chance like this again......

Jaudiar sat up and nudged Ananda. She rose to her feet and looked around. Nothing. Ananda sighed with resignation and dressed herself quickly, the long dark tunics fitting them perfectly. Jaudiar did likewise, and pulled out the two blades left for them. Jaudiar: What's going on? Ananda: I have no idea. Jaudar: They said they would be here..... The two grabbed their belongings and stepped outside. The whole place was silent, like death had just swept through. The fire in the Edifice was burning, but nothing else was happening. The horses were still there. One of the shire stallions dipped his head and whinnyed to Ananda. The two others were lying down, asleep. Jaudiar sighed and mounted the other Shire. The two nudged the beasts, and without any guidance, the horses took off into the predawn. Ananda: Where are we going? Jaudiar: I dont' know....but it can't be so bad. Ananda: We're fed, armed..

Valeigh cocked one eyebrow at Spyder's next to nothing appearence. She smiled and exchanged a knowing look with her. Then she half closed one eye and pulled Rico out the door with her. The door closed behind them and they quietly moved into another room, similarly furnished. Valeigh sat down on the bed, taking off her dirty clothes. Rico: That was nice. Valeigh: I need a bath. Rico: Hmmm? Valeigh: ....what?
-
Valeigh closed her eyes, then smelled the air. She turned her head in the direction it was coming from, thn leaned in. Rico: What is it? Valeigh: I smell water. And soap. Rico: ....sounds like Spyder. Valeigh: And then again.....I also smell love. He looked at her like she was crazy, then she stepped even closer and the scent intensified. Valeigh grinned to herself, and knocked on the door. Valeigh: ROOM SERVICE!

Her eyes glinted slightly and the flush of blue appeared on her face once more. Rico turned to her, eyes asking the question. She shook her head and put a finger to his lips. Valeigh: If I use my power, do not react. They continued through the corridors, silent, calm. Then it happened. A wild eyed beast flew from the walls, claws outstretched. Valeigh roared and brought her fist up to her side, then slammed it down. Blue lightning appeared from her hand and slashed down against the animal, burning and searing. It yelped, and fell to the ground, whimpering. The whiplash of energy disapeared and Valeigh bowed. Rico: So much for stealth. Valeigh: ....sorry. I couldn't resist. She blew on her right hand, and smoke rose from her palm. Evidently, the strength of the Lightbearers she once posessed was still with her....only in a new form. The rest of the movement on that floor was uneventful, and no more animals appeared to harass them. Rico gripped her hand in his, comforted for her power. Valeigh: This is actually quite nice....the artwork is impressionistic. Rico: Eh, you're actually looking? Valeigh: It's the artist in me.

As they walked, Celestine could feel the mana emenating from Innana's body....it seemed to act independently of the sorceress herself...and twisted around the entire area... Then she saw it. A huge round room, made entirely of white marble. Or so it seemed. Innana stepped into the center, then knelt and placed both her hands on the ground. Immediatly, huge beasts rose from the ground and reared onto their hind legs. Innana receeded into the shadows, leaving Celestine to fend for herself. She stepped back, afraid.....then she felt something pulsing at her neck. Her hand flew up to touch the Spirit stone from her instructor. Strength began to flood through her whole being, and she stepped forwards again. Celestine: ...okay....

Sil quietly sipped at her drink, energy swiftly reaserting itself. Adriana: So...tell me exactly what happened again? Sil: ....Darwin, you'd better not say anything. Darwin: Of course. Sil: ......One of my students, Aimee, was at the pool hall where Craig, Seifer, and the others are playing. In accordance with her usual character, she wrapped Craig around her finger and generally made herself known. Adriana: Sounds like you and me. Sil: We're not airheads. The weather witch mouthed the words, "oh," and looked down at her drink. Sil: Anyways, I told Craig who she was, and that she was a mutant phobic...

Even if she wins or not.
If I remember correctly....somebody tried to own me once, and that person got dismembered. Anyways, I voted for the guy who writes in red and doesn't ever seem to get off line. Why? Cause out of all these people, he's the one that has gone RPGing with me for more than 4 hours.

Valeigh: Let's go. Rico: ....together this time. Valeigh: Of course. She squeezed his hand in hers, and the two rose to their feet. With steady, measured strides, they walked over to the door again.....this time, they were joined toegther. Seperately as one. Nothing could tear them apart. And Valeigh smiled.

She landed in the middle of the gardens, hair flying around her face....fingers clenching and flexing uncontrollably. Moon Chaser stalked through the grounds, stiff legged, then stopped in front of the gates. She tapped in the code, then entered the mansion. Adriana looked up from the magazine she was reading, eye asking the question. Sil collapsed onto the sofa next to her and massaged the corners of her eyes. Sil: Bad day in dance, Craig's picked up on one of my dance students, she lied about knowing me, she lied about knowing about mutants, she's got him around her finger... The weather witch raised one eyebrow. This sounded very familiar. She returned her attention to her reading and smiled. Adriana: Sounds like you need to go off and get drunk. Sil: I think I will. Adriana: ....save me a spot..... Sil: It'll be in my room. White wine or red? Adriana: White. With a sigh of resignation, Sil tramped up the stairs, got out of her normal clothes, and slipped on a simple spaghettie strap dress. She sat down on the edge of her bed, mentally planing the next day. Dance practice as usual, with a bit of a subliminal message.

The female assasin flicked the ash off the end of her cigarette. Then she uncrossed her legs and looked at Arano through half shut eyes. Lethe: If I chose somebody easy to kill....where would all the fun be? Flash: So you're in it for the thrill. Lethe: Partly. I also don't mind a casual one night stand. Arano cocked one eyebrow at her. That was different. He weighed what he knew of her in his mind. Lethe is a Grecian drug that causes forgetfulness..... Lethe: Something wrong Arano? Blank: ....do you really cause forgetfulness? Or is it a play on words? Lethe: In case you haven't figured it out.....I'm an empath. Your psychic powers will have a very minimal effect on me. So... She took a drag on her cigarette. Lethe: Why worry?

She smiled at him then rose out of the water to stand on the surface. He followed her movement.....there was a magic aura around her that went beyond her natural flow of mana. Perhaps it was the water. Tarlain shook her hair dry like an animal then leapt down to land in the grass next to him. Once more, she looked at him, her eyes half closed, her body relaxed. Tarlain: I want you to understand what you feel. Medra: .....why should I? Tarlain: The begining of understanding will lead to power. Medra: .....who was that voice calling me? Tarlain: Hecate. The bright Moon. She wants to see me succeed almost as much as I want to help you. Medra: Save it for your apprentice. Tarlain: She already understands.

She stepped out onto the roof, then stretched backwards.....arching until her palms were flat on the ground. Flash: Were you always this flexible? Lethe: It's a curse. With a quick movement, she righted herself, then promptly stripped down to black lengire. Then she quietly padded over to one of the chairs and leaned back, eyes closed. Flash and Arano stared. Here was one girl who was not hung up on personal appearences. She raised one eyebrow and stared back. Lethe: Is there something wrong? Flash: Nothing. Lethe: Don't tell me you've never seen anything like this before. He opened his mouth, then closed it again. Lethe smirked. The aura he was giving off was bright red. Perfect. Arano's was roughly the same, with a few twists here and there. She closed her eyes and let hers calm down to her signature shade of silver. The weather wasn't so bad....once you got used to the heat.
-
She waved a hand dissimsively. Lethe: No thanks, I'm trying to cut back. Arano snorted. Liar. She looked at him over her shoulder, a slight smirk on her face....eyes half shut. Lethe leaned against the wall and coughed pointedly. Flash took the hint and pulled out a chair for her. She walked across the room; or, sauntered really. With a quick graceful turn, she sat down, hair fanning around her face, then settling back down. Lethe crossed her legs and folded her hands on her knees. Flash: So....what brings you out here? Besides me? Lethe: I needed to work on my tan. She grinned. Her skin was almost translucent, for all the sun she got....
