Mm, please do the world a favor and make your posts longer DuoMax.....thanks. And one more thing. My character does not use an audible voice to communicate. She either uses kything [telepathy] or a variety of sounds produced by animals. End of story. ~~~~~~~~~ Tarlain was slightly irked that this unknown had intruded upon her territory...nevertheless, she nodded slightly. Lethe's energy sparked inside of her. She patted her stomach comfortingly and sat down quietly. Tarlain: Welcome to Atenae..... Ken: What is it? Saraneth: ....thank you.

Works for me....I have finals coming up soon, but I'll survive....I'm a big girl. -_- Anyways, I'll stick around...waiting for Ravenstorture to haul her butt out here and stuff.

Medra on Tarlain's homeland.....not neccisarily welcome, but of course.....was better than Lucifer's minions. Ochkik Haddah didn't mind; he was a shadow, not a foool. Tarlain: Do you think Haddah would agree with your ideas? Medra: ......is he here? The female Dragouet smiled egnimatically.....flashing white teeth.... He would meet him, and know him better. Much better; especially if he decided to stick around. Tarlain: Would you like to meet him? The demon smiled back, cruel. Heartless.

It was over, her arms were glowing, twisted with the vines of roses. Her battle scars were long since healed, but the roses were still prominent.....standing out from the rest of her skin. He dropped her sword and raised his head into her lap, calling him by the name she had given to him..... Valeigh: Entari, hold on.... His eyelids flickered....roses again....and a feeling of safety. Valeigh smiled and picked him up, spreading her wings...... "It's time to go."

One of Tarlain's ears twitched involuntarily....she was angry. But, she knew she did not have the power to back up her fury, and willed herself to calmness. Lethe gave a swift kick to her ribs, feeling the same sort of anger her mother had. "Lie still child....it will be alright." Kenneth: ...... Tarlain: What is this?

The two took a walk around the huge estate...without any conversation. She was sensitive, giving him time to adjust to the freedom of the atmosphere and the wide open spaces... Then he turned and playfully aimed a punch at her arm...much like she had done to him. She ducked, then shook a finger at him... With a playful leap, she flipped over backwards and did a double spin....in mid air. Darwin chuckled and pretended to tackle her...only to find himself getting kicked in the rear from behind. She smiled when he looked back at her from the ground. Darwin: Ow...? Sil: Oops...? Darwin: Mm, thanks alot. So, how big is this place really? Sil: Roughly, a few...acres *wink* The Professor never gave me a acerage count. The whole place starts generally around the mansion itself, then extends into to a vast underground network of runways, monorails, and transport tunnels. Not to mention several large gardens, a boathouse and various communication towers. Darwin: Oh. Lovely. And so then...is there a.... Sil: Yes, there's a pool. And the adress is 1407 Graymalkin Lane. He stared once more. For all her flirtatious ways and general good nature, she could talk like she had swallowed a texbook. Perhaps that explained the contacts he could see on her silver eyes. She stared back...enjoying the red glow his eyes gave off. Several moments later, she coughed and looked away. Sil: Wanna race? Darwin: You can fly. That's not fair. Sil: Oh comeon....spoilsport. I gave you a short information lesson, a slight tour....of the outside

She leaned back, the fire crackling pleasently. His story ran well, like he had spoken it before. It was comforting. To hear the sound of a friendly voice. "Are you okay?" "I'm fine. Don't worry about me....keep going. It's a good story." She smiled reasuringly. He was a good story teller, and she could almost see her father in him. "Well....."

Pure hatred coursed through her veins, driving her replenished body into a blood frenzy. With an extreme amount of control, she stopped her Starseed's ascension into Chaos....and willed herself to relax. Jaudiar: This child is mine, and Axel's. I will be the one to hold her and nurture her...not you. She will learn my songs, and my rules. And if you touch this child before I am ready...you will be laid under the curse. Rajaah: ....oh which curse now? Jaudiar: My starseed is created within the boundries of Lehuriel Emtari. Touch it, or the one holding it against their will....and the curse of 800 years will be released. Rajaah: *spits* And what would you do to give your starseed to a child willingly? She will not be able to hold it. Jaudiar: Her name is Nepenthe. And she will hold it. As a matter of fact, I can practially garuntee it. So shove off. She smiled sweetly at the furious Necromancer and picked her nails..... Her feigned boredom did the trick, and Rajaah swept away...livid. The pulsing in her uterus was gentle...despite a nudge now and then. Nepenthe was growing quickly. Good. Jaudiar's mind quickly formulated the plans necessary to ensure Chaos's survival. Lethe would have to mature faster than normal....and then the knife would be brought into play. Ananda would come, perform the rites of exchange...and that would be that. Her elder sister was pure joy, full of the lightness of being. The Necromancer would fall before her without much of a battle. The child will then hold Lehuriel Emtari, and be trained the basics with her father, and the higher training...with Lingh Redeyes. That is...of course...if nothing goes horribly wrong with the pregnency.

*stares at the last two posts* Mmm, I could've sworn Yoda told you to go away, well, in much nicer words anyways. Even though I agree with him; your posts....to put it bluntly....are....not....that...good. ~~~~~~~~~~ Sil smiled and kept moving....enjoying this game of follow the leader...no matter how juvenille it was. When they reached the door, she turned around and looked at him. Darwin: What? Sil: I hope you don't mind crowded rooms. Darwin: ....well... With a saucy grin and a swift kick, Sil banged both doors wide open. The room was completely empty. With the single student here and there.....he raised one eyebrow. This was going to be interesting. Sil: And? Darwin: You're a horrible tease. Sil: Hey, it's not a pretty job, all the time, but somebody's gotta do it. Darwin: All the time? Sil: *chuckle* No, of course not. Hungry?

Tarlain: Tell me about your past. Is it like mine? Ken: Not exactly...it's more, dark. Because I made it that way. Tarlain: Then you must tell me. Dark night for dark tales. She pointed to the sky. The moon was in it's final quarter...barely there. Tarlain leaned back with some difficulty. Lethe's size was rapidly increasing...even for one carying demon blood. Ken smiled at the sight of his love. Despite this pregnancy of hers, she was still beautiful. Albeit her hair had lost it's sheen, and her body was giving off surges of energy now and then... Tarlain: Come on! Tell me.

She smiled and tipped her wings and tail to him....horns glistening in the pale starlight. Tarlain: .....I am defending the home of my family, and my people. Smikiel: How honorable. It will eventually fall. Her eyes flashed angrily. Tarlain: While Ochkik Haddah and I are here, it will never fall. The angel started. Even with all of his training and energy, he had not even sensed the presence of the Lord of Nightmares. He turned back to her. She was smiling now, happily almost. Simikiel: So to save your home, you ally yourself with a demon in disguise. At the insult of her second father, Tarlain's temper rose, in tune with the passion of her people, Tarlain: If you are going to insult the one who saved my life, and the life of my late father...at least do it where I can not hear you! He saved this land, and he treated all of my people like children. Even though we still turned on eachother, we never stopped hoping.

She stiffened slightly and turned around... Jaudiar: Girlfriend? Liam: Uh... Rae: Eheh...*color=red* Liam: ....you need any help? Jaudiar: Oh no, I just enjoy marinating in white wine like this...it's good for the skin ya know. Liam: It is?

"I have nothing more I want to tell...." She sighed quietly, that story was a bright memory among some many others of pain, despair, and complete fear....darkness. "Please don't ask me to share anything more. But now that you know my history....I want you to tell it to our child." Ken nodded, "I swear it." She smiled, comforted for the history of her bloodline.

"Jah, King of Kings, heard this story, and was outraged at the cruelty of the mystical beasts. He was certainly angry...and when Jah claps his hands, the world falls to peices. It is safe to say, he put his hands together. With the tremors that followed the battle, Tai Alujah appeared. Arch Seraphim, princess among her people. Wings of rainbows, clothing of silver and white. She slaughtered the ones that had plotted against Innana from the very begining. As for the others, they were punished far less severely then Innana had been. From the ashes of her children, formed the new breed of Dragourets. Thos with my apperence...and from the ashes of Innana herself, was born the Enchantress of the Night. When Tai Alujah was finished, Innana was glorious, as she had never wished to be. Innana blessed her children in Atenae, and cast a spell to keep the night long. With that, she departed with love, and flew to the Heaven's, where she, in her wisdom, knew Jah was waiting." Tarlain sighed softly, and twisted her hands in her lap. "It's an old story." "It was incredible."

When she woke up, the first thing she felt was her child, moving inside of her. Good. She was still alive after the blast. Jaudiar cursed herself silently. It had been so stupid. Falling for Axel, letting a damned Necromancer loose. If her sister had been here, she would've fallen on the knife and saved herself the problem. Jaudiar: .....thanks. Axel: Good evening. If you could call it that. Jaudiar: Where did Rajaah go? Axel: Don't know. He'll be back though. Jaudiar: Of course. I owe him for 12 years of slavery. The human looked at her like she was insane. Slavery...so that's what his beef with her was. Jaudiar looked away, completely embarassed. Sure her energy had partialy replenished itself with sleep, and her baby was still alive, and maybe.....damn it. This pregnency would slow her down like nothing else ever had. Not even three consecutive summons of Ochkik Haddah drained her like this. Axel lit his cigarette and smirked. Jaudiar: You shouldn't smoke, it's not good for the baby. Axel: *grimace* Really... Jaudiar: Not like I could stop you. Damn him. I won't be able to put up even half that fight pretty soon.

Writing Today's Poem [M -- As a Precaution]
Raiha replied to Heaven's Cloud's topic in Creative Works
Sweet is the ambrosia we have tasted, Warm was the fire we walked into, Dark was the path we had made, And cold was the awakening we were born into. A single tear falls to Earth, From somewhere overhead, We know that she is crying, Like we are on the inside. -
"There was a terrible fight....after her children had matured. The Drows, White Elves, and the Dragon people confronted Innana...claiming that she had descrated their people with the mixing of the two breeds. Innana did not fight back, and suffered herself to be tortured. Her children fought valiantly, but were slain in the fray. Innana was not so lucky. She was lashed repeatedly with a whip made by dragon tendons....when they were finished... You could not recognize her for who she really was. The bone was visible through her back, the tendons and ligaments moving as well. She summoned enough energy to face her once friends. And she begged them to stop. They were deaf to her pleas. If you hear that White Elves are merciful, it is not always true. Her body was torn to shreds, and burned peice by peice. The same fate was in store for her children. Their ashes were scattered far and wide...." Here, Tarlain paused, and wipped tears from her face.

She smiled and threw another log onto the fire. Nothing like a campfire to get you in the mood for things. "Innana...was a great leader. She gave birth to the first of the Dragourets. And taught us to accept the way things were, live in peace with nature. To speak the languages of the birds and animals. And in the past, we could even talk to trees." "Sounds perfect." "It was...before the storm."

Wings flashing a dusty rose, she whipped her blade out of its sheath. The metallic clang combined with the great deathsong pouring from her lips......she was coming. Via: Where is you precious little angel? I don't see her... Valeigh: YAHAA! Wings flashing with black light, the Angel of death bore down on the demons. With a swift kick and upward slash, she impaled the hapless beast. A puff of red smoke and a burst of sulfer. Then he was banished.... High-Rule smiled. She had pulled through once more. Fou wings spread out, glittering in the pale moonlight...and Valeigh hissed. Valeigh: Depart, or it's back to the abyss with you all.... Via'pus: Make us, angel bîtch. Valeigh:.....very well.

Moon Chaser winked at Adriana and floated away eaily, moving like a fish in water. With a quick burst of speed, she moved up to her room and quietly opened the door. She pulled open the bottom drawer of her dresser and pulled out a long mahogany case. She slowly opened it and drew oyt a long broad tipped sword. With slow movements, she hung the leather scabbard on her belt, and twirled the blade. "Soon you will sing with me again." She quickly tossed it into the air, and then turned a tight circle once...then stuck out her hip...The blade whooshed down, and slipped neatly into the scabbard. Pleased with it's responsivness, she turned and quietly moved downstairs again.... Adriana: Still haven't abbandoned steel? Moon: It is the best way.

"Foolish Necromancer. To think I would fall for such an act of desperation...and actually believe the words of his lying mouth." She growled scornfullly, and released him with a painful twist. Then she levitated and quietly swooped up to his level. She paused in mid air, and then landed next to him. Jaudiar tipped her staff and concealed her swiftly tilting energy. Rajaah: So you've finally listened to reason... Jaudiar: .....ELMEKIA HEART! She let loose with a blast of holy magic, hands in the temporal position...palms straight out, all fingers extended beyond what was natural..... The white energy tensed around the both of them and snapped with unrestrained power. Rajaah screamed, partly in pain, partly with rage. She had released the first of her energies....and he noticed that she was slightly drained, panting. Beads of sweat formed on her forehead, and Jaudiar cursed inwardly. "That was a mistake....damn him. Damn him to all seven hells of Circe."

As soon as they were within plain sight, Chaos and Joy came to life...and swirled from the staff onto Nepenthe's body. She smiled... Their touch never failed to excite and please her.... Fox looked over at her. A fully grown sorceress playing lightly with snakes...as if there was nothing wrong with this picture. Fox: What do you propose we do now? Kain: ...We fight. Obviously. Nepenthe: Sure go ahead, fight the Uruk's of Mordor. I'll be waiting here to finish them off after you're all slaughtered one leg at a time. Gurthang: Stealth then? It's nearly night time...

Tempting...that's what his offer was. Did Death Knight really believe that He who is most high would really resurect Skye if he joined the side of the angels? Simikiel might have had the power to do so...when blessed by Jah...But what would they really want besides Death Knight's sesrvices? Tarlain: Is this wise...Death Knight? Death: Do you know? Tarlain: Ask this angel if there are any other strings attatched. And when you're done with that, tell him that I would love to speak with him...face to face.
-
Well sue me. You weren't talking to me. Go hurt Death Knight. Of course, I could have her come up and just yell at you...but nah, she doesn't want to waste her energy. Let's all pretend he just came up to Death Knight and asked him. Okay? Okay. -_- ~~~~~~~~~~~ My eyelids flickered. An unusually strong presence had come into Atenae....but I would not interfere. My main problem was ensuring my apprentice's survival...among other things. "Please let her survive this...." I crossed myself and threw up a quick prayer to Jah...hoping it would be heard.
