Jaudiar: You're not going to die on me.....ever. He breathed lightly, and suffered.....she pressed her mouth down onto his, breathing life into him.....he inhaled, and exhaled. Normal. No more pain. The song echoed in his mind, and the smell of the roses permeating his senses. Jaudiar slept with his head in her lap, Fox as peaceful as a baby. When she woke up, he was still breathing normally, and her shoulders relaxed. Her dreams had been null. Fox opened one eye slowly. Fox: You smell wonderful. Jaudiar: It's a curse......my body was born like it...as compensation for my feral self. Fox: I wouldn't worry about it. Jaudiar: Heh, personal trademark y'see.

Jaudiar: EYAHH!! She screamed and arched her back, fangs ripping from her gums....tearing flesh from flesh.....in that instant, she had leapt over Fox's prone form and landed on all fours, half cat, half human...the last of the bounty hunters appeared....only to come face to face with the smouldering red eyes of a feral animal. In that moment, he felt the pupils of her eyes slit into nothing, and his life ebbed away before his eyes.... Blood. Fresh blood, rolling down her tounge...it was heaven. Sweet and hot.....a hot thing. Her eyes reverted and her fangs disapeared.....she gasped for air...then sank to her knees. Energy expended....but still concious, she rolled over and touched Fox's chest...still breathing. Jaudiar: Sleep well Phoenix....they are gone for now. Fox: ......... Jaudiar: And I remember now why I ran away. Glasses breaking, ice spilling across the floor. Eyes reverting. "You animal." "Freak!" "You're nothing at all!" ....no, she was something. Fong had proved it, brought it out, exorced it. And she was eternally grateful. She owed him a debt that would spill over into several lifetimes. And now her life force was bound to one who would be reborn forever.

As soon as they had reached the interior of the ship Tarlain fell onto the floor, hands in front of her....the blue blood staining through. Abob looked at her....her face was whiter than normal...a pale cream...the blue tinge of her lips and cheeks clear. She sat up and drew the needle out of the sleeve. Her hand was healing quickly, mitosis had already begun... Tarlain: I'm starting to wonder about him.... Abob: Dooku? I was wondering why he never noticed your little "problem." Tarlain: I don't require oxygen to live...I simply do it to have air moving through me. Therefore, the scent is very faint. Only you...and a few select others can pick it up. Abob: That makes sense. She rolled over and ripped off the tunic easily. Once Tarlain was free of the restraining garment, she stood up and slung it over her shoulder. Tarlain: Well then, this one's history...time to get out the other one....

Nepenthe sat up, that outburst had shocked her out of the dream. She fingered her staff.....energy flickering slightly in her eyes......he was being an idiot. More than most were. "I would strike you down if the time was right.....speak when you know what to do." Gurthang: .... Nepenthe: Do you know what to do Gurthang? Don't hesitate to tell us. He glared at the halfbred sorceress...her eyes were dancing with light now....red against black. The way she stared at him was unerving....her energy seemed to peirce him to the very soul. Gurthang looked away pointedly. Nepenthe sat back.....her point was made. Fox looked over at them from his corner....nothing. Nepenthe opened her mouth and her voice raised in song....an ancient hymm to Elbereth. As her words flew into the air, a stillness entered the room, and all their problems seemed to lessen, like so many leaves...blown in the wind. Nepenthe: Elbereth! A Gilthoniel! We remember thee, your starlight upon the endless seas. We who wander here, Amid the world of woven trees.

She leaned on her staff lazily this talk of Sauron was disconcerting, but not yet one to be terrified of the dreaded Nazgul....she waited patiently until she was named. He was watching them....the Great Eye was..... Fox: Are you alright Nepenthe? Nepenthe: Don't worry about me. I'm alright....really. Forcing a smile, she sank down to her knees, staff going with her. She sighed softly and lipped a bit of hair that had fallen into her mouth......its taste was sweet...like the cherrywood of her weapon.... Dreaming....the Eye.

With a simple flip, she brought her staff back to earth and screamed. Black energy formed at her figertips, then spread to her hands....she whipped them forward and snared Axel...snatching the cigarette from his mouth and flipping it into the water. In another quick movement, the bands had snaked around his neck....He gagged then was released....... Jaudiar hung back, slightly pissed.....he was a player. And she knew exactly how to play it. She sauntered up to him, hands free, mouth partly open, teasing. Axel: ..... Jaudiar: I suppose you thought that was a blast. Axel: Oh yeah.... Jaudiar: Has anyone ever told you that you're cute when you're mad? He was about to reply when she closed in, mouth pressing against his...Axel gasped, despite her fighting, she still smelled delicous....the heady scent of roses surrounded her body.... She held on, slowly savoring the taste of blood, and nicotine. It clashed with her blood...devoid of any oxygen...giving him a dull, drugged feeling. It was finished before it started. Axel hit the ground, and Jaudiar smiled cruelly. Jaudiar: Mmm....feeling better? Axel: You damn.... Jaudiar: The Silver Kiss.....has many uses.
-
Jaudiar's eyes flickered slightly....she could smell something unkind. After a few seconds, she reached for her own gun...stealthily....Then she whirled around, weapon raised. Almost immediatly, she could see the hand Fox was holding behind his back. She dropped her 9mm and took it in her hands. He flinched. Fox: Stop it. Jaudiar: I'm not going to let this hurt you. Despite his protest, she ripped open the gauntlet and exposed the burned flesh......she passed a hand over it quietly.

She rolled over, head swimming with dreams.....the first petal fell. Black rose. In my hands, thorns peircing through, pain. Suffering.... Whip, rise and fall. In my heart, I see him wield it. The second petal fell. White soul. Stare into my eyes and see my life. You are the tattoo of me. The third petal fell. She saw him out of the corner of her eyes. The tiger roared, the snake hissed. It was over. The final petal fell. Jaudiar sat upright, drawing in her breath quickly....gasping for air, soaked in cold sweat. Fox woke up instantly. Fox: What is it? Jaudiar: ...it's time to go. She rolled out of the warm bed and landed on all fours. She quickly exchanged the voluminous white shirt for the black lace up top....gorget clasped at the neck, gauntlets slid on....that dream had been too real. The smell of roses still clung to her....

Tarlain silently slipped her daggar out of its sheath and pressed the tip into her arm....exacty where the needle had first gone in.... Several seconds passed before Count Dooku turned around, and she took the oppertunity to slash downwards, and open space to remove the needle. With a quick movement, she replaced the daggar and drew out the needle. Almost immediatly she felt the pain leave and the pressure on her mind receed. Her arm was quickly pressed into her sleeve, and against the side of her body. She pushed the needle into the side of her sleeve and relaxed. Problem solved. Count Dooku: Welcome! I see you are both looking well. Abob: ....unhuh. Tarlain: Mm...of course we are. The Chiss male turned his head in her direction, the smell of blood was in the air...but it wasn't quite right....Dooku was oblivious. Tarlain colored blue, the tinge on her cheeks depening....He smiled slightly. She didn't need oxygen...that was for sure.

The gaurd greeted them courteously and bowed to Tarlain. She did likewise, then pulled up her sleeve. The huge red mark was spreading....and the gaurd blanched visibly. Abob: Need she say more? Let's go. Tarlain: .....aw hell, just point us in the right direction. Guard: *points to the right* Th-That way. Tarlain: Thank you. The voice she put on dripped with sarcasm and obvious distaste....she left silently. Abob followed quickly....she wasn't looking like she usually did.... Tarlain hadn't gotten more than ten steps when her knees decided to give way. As could be expected, she fell, only to be caught instantly by Abob. Her eyes were looking dull, the red light was fading.... His mouth opened, then shut. Then he picked her up and continued to the Medical Facility...hoping she would live. Tarlain: ....fück. Abob: Please tell me this isn't going to become a habbit. Tarlain: Five minutes...and it will.

She was watching him from the corner...in a darkened room she waited. Her scent had vanished with the coming of Rae......then he sighed and leaned back...waiting for the painfest to begin. It was only fair that he suffer exceptionally. Jaudiar smiled. She could read him like a book. Jaudiar: Don't panic. She's a professional. Liam: Got any other bright ideas? Jaudiar: Get horsewhiped. Or better yet, get this done to you. She turned around and lifted her shirt above her neck. Huge scars traced themselves in twisting patterns and curls...moving like snakes through long healed flesh. He sucked in air through his teeth. This was new... Jaudiar: Do you know what happenes when you fail someone twice? Liam: ...horsewhipped. Jaudiar: No, the cat-o-nine. Liam: What's that? Jaudiar: 9 thonged whip with bits of glass and cat's bones. It rips the flesh open until you can see the white of your ribs. Liam: Who was it? Jaudiar: ....Adrien.

She smiled and passed a hand over his face.....murmering the lines of a song.....he shuddered, then relaxed.... Jaudiar softly spoke again, gently lulling him to rest... Jaudiar: Tantalar, Efrathala, Uthwine, Ten Larar... Fox: That's nice......just what...I... Jaudiar: ...shhh. He closed his eyes, her words were intoxicating, and there was a scent in the air...plumaria. Although his mind was already going to sleep, he noticed something on the side of her neck and looked closer...She paused and looked back. Jaudiar: What's wrong? Fox: What's on your back? Jaudiar: ....let me show you. She turned around and lifted the shirt up, starting at her neck, and trailing down to her waist....the whipmarks of a cat-o-nine were there... Scars traced themselves in patterns and curls, moving up, then to the side. He traced one with a finger and she quivered. Despite the scaring, she could still feel pain and heat.... He placed his hands on her back and she hunched over. Every thought of her past rushed back....then Jaudiar breathed. It was gone.

.......... Name: Nepenthe Sevenstar Age: 800 Race: Half Elf, half Itsari Weapons: Staff of cherrywood[magic], a sword of Gondolin, named Aratcal. Bio: The daughter of Mirthrandir and Iarnólëien was raised by Celerimbor in the fastness of Lothlorien, before the great shadow had physical form. She knew of the Great rings and could indeed see the Star in the Lady's hand......but when the staff was carved, Nepenthe opened her heart and took to wandering. She could survive on barely anything at all, and required only the stars of Elbereth to guide her. This was when she was 15. Occasionally, she ran into her father, the pilgrim grey, exchanged news and remembered her mother's passing. But a love of animals, moonlight, and a thirst for knowledge kept her to land wandering instead of finding someone to live with for eternity. The final battle on Mt. Doom troubled her deeply, but was not for her to participate in. After everything was finished, she fled the men of Harad instead of being captured, then worked her way to to Rivendell. There she received the blade of the fallen Glorfindel, Aratcal, and learned...many things. This was when she was 50. The continual suffering of the hard roads led her to the ways of the Black Numenorians....and she proved to understand everything they told her. Black magic and lore....contrasted with the white energy of her youth, forming a new sort of being... Description: Wears black pants, tunic, boots/gloves....and a long robe of an undetermined color. Rose eyes, Brown/red hair, pale skin, about 5'8" Personality: Saturnine, gloomy, sarcastic, generally compassionate when it comes to animals and children.

Hellcat rose to her feet and silently padded to the sound of crying. Looking like a ghost, she drifted through the air....watchful....waiting. She found Fox, face buried in his hands, and she pressed her own against his shoulder. He made no movement and she held him in her arms...then she brought her face closer and whispered her story to him. Jaudiar: I am Jaudiar Sevenstar, the last in a line of bounty hunters and asassins. It is safe to tell you who I am now. Fong raised me in his home, and taught me what life was....and everything else. I'm sorry you don't understand. Fox: ...why are you here with me? Jaudiar: It was time for me to go. I had to find someone to take with me....where I need to go. Fox: Where are you planning on going to? Jaudiar: Wherever you are. Trust me.

Why do I find myself fighting down the urge to destroy that newbie? *breathes* Okay...control...control.....James is your friend...Rico is your friend....CWB will kill her later.... ~~~~~~~~~~~` I hissed through my teeth, the staff in my hand begging to be changed. I let it go....and it began to vibrate with life...in that instant, it rotated twice, then transfigured itself into the alternate form. A full length bloodsword was floating in front of me... At this point, I hesitated. The prongs were there, the hilt was in place, and my hands were ready....Axel was patient...he had plenty of time. I reached out quickly and wrapped my right hand around it...immediatly, I felt the "snick" of flesh against organic metal. The barbs sank deeply into my hands, blue blood running between my fingers. I sighed. It was speaking again. Saitsune was prepared.

Jaudiar: The floor is mine. You can have the bed. Fox: But you're a girl. Jaudiar: I was raised by a Chinese demon...I find beds far to soft for my taste. Fox: That explains the leather. He sat down on the edge of the bed while Jaudiar folded her legs in front of her....backpack in her lap. She smiled and pulled out a huge white shirt.....then she dropped it next to her. Her backpack was tossed backwards....then landed close by. Without another word, she fell, head hitting its mark, knees crossed....feet flexing and pointing easily. After a few moments, she sat upright again. Fox: So...who are you? Jaudiar: You can call me the Hellcat. For now. Fox: What then? Jaudiar: ....I don't think you want to know. She unclasped the collar at her throat, and slid off both gauntlets. Without any form of embarassment or fear, she crossed both arms and pulled off the tight leather shirt....her hair came loose and fell around her shoulders, giving her an air of mystery. As quickly as the eyes could follow, she picked up the white shirt and slipped it on...then she leaned back again, eyes on the ceiling.
-
Jaudiar: Oh no...you're not getting rid of me that easily. Fox: ...are you sure about that? She smiled at him and waved her slingblade in front of his face. The money he had tossed at her was in his hands again....and her arm had somehow found its way to his.... Fox: Are you... Jaudiar: Who I say I am? Of course. But to really find out...you'll have to let me stick around. Fox: If I don't? Jaudiar: You'll never find out if I'm just a good con artist....or something else. Fox: You win. The two exited the bar....ignoring the stares of the patrons.... Once outside, she slung on her backpack and faced him....eyes snapping playfully.
-
As soon as the words had left Fox's mouth, he heard a gun click behind him and swore silently. It was then that he realized the Glock was no longer pressed into his back. He turned around and found Ami on the ground, and another girl with her foot pressing lightly down on her neck. Jaudiar's eyes hardened, and she tightened her grip. It was time to die. Ami: Hellcat. Jaudiar: Don't speak. Fox: What are you doing? Jaudiar: Saving your butt. Although I'm still trying to figure out why. You don't seem to be very good at picking this up. The slingblade in her hand was humming slightly, energy coursing through it's length....

Axel closed the envelop and walked out of his office...eluding the adoring crowds. Jaudiar waited patiently by the cliffs...Rajaah sat nearby, enveloped with his own thoughts. She smiled thinly. Somebody was coming. Time went by.....The moon waxed and wanned. Another night began, and a full moon was rising. Jaudiar had disrobed and was standing perfectly still. Black leather and a silver gorget. Rajaah had disapeared. Conviniently enough, she had told him to go meditate...and he had done so. She was ready. Her robe was waiting for her underneath the caves...and her staff was planted into the ground, the snake encircling it was waiting as well. Eyes flickering....red. Just like his mistress. Axel: So....*grinds out cigarette* ...you're Jaudiar. She tensed herself, he had come up behind her so quickly...and yet the scent he carried was more than enough to announce himself to her. The mage didn't bother giving him the honor of facing her. It was too much. The words flew out of her mouth so quickly, she could hardly believe she had spoken them. A rose appeared in her hand and she flicked it over her shoulder... Jaudiar: Correct for twenty points. You must be the famous...Axel North. Axel: Famous? Jaudiar: Nevermind. So tell me please....why are you here? Besides to stare at my åss. Axel: To kill you. I've been told that you're good at magic... Jaudiar: Hardly. There are those better than me. Those who actualy train for reasons other than pure happiness. Axel: Do you have any idea why I would come out here to kill you? Jaudiar: *shrug* It's a living. At the same time she spoke, she turned around easily...her ballet training served her well, easing her into the movements. It was effortless....this mode of appearence...and she relished it. Axel cocked one eyebrow. The picture had hardly done her any justice at all. She was pretty. Very pretty. Jaudiar grimaced and withdrew her hands from his mind. It wasn't worth it. She hissed through her teeth and the staff in her hands reacted the same way. Jaudiar: I'm afraid...my dear Axel...that I'm going to be very hard to kill.

Writing Today's Poem [M -- As a Precaution]
Raiha replied to Heaven's Cloud's topic in Creative Works
Hmmmm....should I...? Ohwell, here you are everyone! The most sorrowful and pathetic tango ever written by Tom Lhehr. ~~~~~~~~~~ I ache for the touch of your lips dear, But much more for the touch of your whips dear. You can raise welts like nobody else as we dance to the masochism tango.... Let our love be a flame not an ember, Say it's me that you want to dismember. Blacken my eye, set fire to my tie as we dance to the masochism tango.... At your command before you hear I stand, My heart is in my hand, egh...*shudder* It's here that I must be, My heart entreats just hear those savage beats, And go put on your cleats and trample me... Your heart as hard as stone or mahogany, That why I?m in such exquisite agony. My soul is on fire, flames with desire, which is why I perspire when we tango... You caught my nose in your left castanet love, I can feel the pain yet love, Every time I hear drums. And I envy the rose, That you held in your teeth love, With the thorns underneath love, Sticking into your gums, Your eyes cast a spell that bewitches, The last time I needed twenty stitches, To sew up the gash you made with your lash as we danced to the masochism tango.... Bash in my brains and make me scream with pain, And kick me once again and say we'll never part. I'm know too well, I?m underneath your spell, If you smell something burning it's my heart, Oh! Excuse me. *gasp* Take your cigarette from it's holder, And burn your initials in my shoulder Fracture my spine and swear that you're mine as we dance to the maso----chism tango.....
