[COLOR=royalblue][i]Blood rose behind Sabirsing's eyes...engulfing her senses completely. The humming stared deep in her veins, then swarmed outward, covering her body with a flickering blue aura. She tore off her outer tunic and boots, and they dropped to the ground like a stone. Then she flexed herself and waited.[/i] "It wasn't a ritual." "Yeah, and I'm santa claus." "I don't believe in him." [i]Bringing both her hands forward, Sabirsing concentrated her aura and tensed herself.....prepared for the worst, which was soon to come...[/i][/COLOR]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]For the first time since the begining of their adventure, Valeigh ripped off her long black cloak and threw it to the floor. Seth stared at her scared and tatooed body before he snapped out of it.[/i] Valeigh: What? Seth: What happened to you? Dark: It looks like you had a mix with a cat 'o' nine. Valeigh: I did. Engarde! Seth: ...yeah. [i]She flicked her blade to the side and waited, legs tensed, feet poised....[/i][/COLOR]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]Peregrine whipped herself around and ran up some stone steps to her room. She flung the door wide open and threw herself on the bed, sobbing hysterically....she whispered the same words to herself over and over...until the pain in her chest grew lighter and lighter.[/i] Viper: *walks in* .... Peri: Viper, my Najeh has left.....and now...there's less to fight for. Viper: What about Chole? Peri: He's one that I will fight for. Along with Alander, and my Taitai, and you. Even though your time here is growing shorter. Viper: ...I know. [i]She rose to her feet and adjusted the chain necklace. Then she walked over to her closet and pulled on the tight, form fitting tunic that had belonged to her house for eons. Whipping the belt around her waist, she quickly tied the knot to her side and turned to Viper.[/i] Peri: Let's go save Liam. Viper: Yes........[/COLOR]

Is there anything I can do? Valeigh: ...no. [i]She shoved herself up with her left and sat up straight. Clutching her shoulder she closed her eyes and gritted her teeth. Valeigh tilted her head back and peeled away the bandages, then rubbed her wound clean. Then she stood up and moved her arm experimentally.....the pain had vanished.[/i] Valeigh: Tell that girl that I am not a lightbearer. Rico: But your blood... Valeigh: ...I had an infusion from one of theirs. It was the last thing I ever wanted for myself. [i]She spat on the ground bitterly and stepped out of the tub.[/i][/COLOR]

[COLOR=royalblue]Valeigh: That's sweet........but with a life like that...why would I have to be an angel of darkness? Zylik: You're right. Valeigh: And the Triad is waiting for us. [i]She tested the edge of her sword and her eyes glittered with anticipation. Siren and Shocks watched them from a short distance, then smiled.[/i] Zylik: True... Valeigh: And that infusion of raw power from Oblivion is going to help us immensley. Zylik: Shall we? Valeigh: Of course.[/COLOR]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]When Espa woke up, the first thing she noticed was the scent of fresh blood in the room. She sat up immediatly and looked around. A single candle was burning on the table and three Triste witches were standing around her. Almost instantly, her hand dropped to the blade at her side...and she almost drew it, then she stopped and waited.[/i] "You had us guessing for a long time........" "What now?" "Oh nothing much...just your blood in exchange for the others." "Try it." "Should we?" "I don't think you'll suceed....." "What if we do?" "Then it's the end." [i]But before a move could be made, a presence appeared in Espa's mind and shot forward, sending a psychic wave out from her body and into the three Tristes. Espa stood up, slightly shaken....then pinched the candle out. The three had disapeared and the presence was gone.......[/i][/COLOR]

She slept neither long, nor well. That damn pyramid invaded her thoughts and appeared every time she thought it was finally over. [i]Versing a quick spell, Sabirsing disapeared in a blaze of white and pulled off a quick Mass Zennis spell.....it contracted and was met dead on with Craig's Kamehameha wave.......the two struggled back and forth for control, then Sabirsing reapeared and let the wave hit her.......she was tossed backwards.....[/i][/COLOR]

Viper: ...her mother is gone. Chole: Dead? Viper: No. Taken. [i]Peregrine looked upwards and stared at the strands of magic crossing around the sky. [COLOR=royalblue][i]Espa climbed the stairs to the attic of her Uncle's apartment. The whole place was filled with both dust and herb leavings....and a strong smell of ginger permeated the entire room. She dropped her pack to the ground and sank to her knees......fatigue taking over...[/i][/COLOR]

She tossed it up, then let it slide onto her left arm...[/i] Seth: How's it feel? Valeigh: .....weird... [i]She slipped it off quickly and put it into her backpack....making sure it was secured completely.[/i] Dark: ......what are you going to do with it? [i]Valeigh looked at the remainder of the group, then stopped and stared right at Piro's face. Her eyes seemed to taunt him, then they softened to a cool rose.[/i] Piro: What? Valeigh: Sorry. I shouldn't of yelled. [i]He shrugged then joined the rest of the group and they pressed on into the interior of the cave....the whole place illuminated with burning torches.[/i][/COLOR]

As soon as her fingers touched it, the whole room grew dark except for Valeigh and the gauntlet........she reached out uncertainly and picked it up in one hand.[/i] Dark: ....what is this? Valeigh: ...I don't know.[/COLOR]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]Valeigh stepped back and fingered the edge of her blade, testing the side. Spyder looked at her uncertainly then cut in sideways...Valeigh caught her wrist with her left and swung forward with her right, opening a cut on her cheek. Spyder cursed and broke free, slashing Valeigh across her exposed collarbone. Bright blue blood gushed from the wound and stained the floor....[/i] Rico: !! Valeigh: .... [i]She touched the blood on her body and was rewarded with the sting of blue across her hands.[/i][/COLOR]

[COLOR=royalblue]That was sad and sweet. The sad reality of it all reminds me of a book I read once.....[u]Princess[/u] It's about a Saudi Arabian princess named Sultana. I recomend it to anybody interested in further reading on Middle Eastern culture and women.[/COLOR]

Dark stared in horror and Valeigh touched the blood to her lips.[/i] Dark: ...What the-? Valeigh: .......you're naiive. [i]She stepped forwad, one foot in front of the other....she looked at the gaurd for a full thirty seconds, making eye contact...then kicked open the doors at the end of the hall. Smoke poured from the entrance, then disipated....Valeigh drew her blade and held it diagonally across her chest...[/i][/COLOR]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]Valeigh's green blue eyes flickered slightly, then returned to their cold, hardened slits. Spyder gazed down the point of her blade, fist drawn back....Moving forward with the grace of a gymnast, Valeigh cut upwards and caught the hilt of Spyder's blade against the barbed hooks on her own. The two were drawn close together, their faces almost touching.[/i] Spyder: ....you're not half bad. Valeigh: And you suck. [i]Her face colored bright red, then turned white.[/i][/COLOR]
