Looking for a well made [duh] banner involving the Sarah Connor Chronicles images, such as the ones of Summer Glau being all Terminator[y]. And the sprinkle text in whatever cool font there is: "No Fate But What We Make." Probably matching avatar, you know because matching is important. If someone could do this I swear I'd be of good cheer.
Gaahhh! [strike]Where do you live?[/strike] (I see you live in Florida...I live in Georgia. *rage*) I'm still waiting for my AP scores! I just want them to come. ;_;
Give it a month. I swear, they take their time because like most monopolies... THEY CAN.

Well I only took AP English and AP History and pretty much everything panned out for the future the way it's been since then. I only took them six years ago anyway... But seriously. I'm majoring in English, and since my exam score was a 5 and my class score was a 5, that's pretty much set in stone. My minor is Political Science and since I passed that with a 3, we might as well all celebrate and get it over with now. I found the AP classes useful and illuminating. And a great G.P.A. padder.

Huzzah. Well I thought I'd start things off by introducing my obligatory nod to Aliens. That and I include them in my first post, which I was arrogant/and/or/bored enough to already write. The Crawlers Typically bug like, if you can remember the Cloverfield parasites that fell off of the main monster, these are that but bigger. And growing bigger all the time. It takes about three days from hatching from the obviously biggest Hive Mother to achieve full size. But, like bugs, they have a timespan of only about a week. Of course in that time they can viciously maim and eat plenty of humans so it's best to identify hives quickly and kill them during the day when they're drowsy. At night they're hulking monstrosities that move both quickly and quietly. Beware. They're hungry little buggers. And your face is oh so tasty.

Sam and Frodo insertion literally made me laugh out loud. As in I had one arm wrapped helplessly around my chair so I wouldn't fall out of it. And as I already told you while shameless massaging your enormous manhood-I mean ego... The graphic is also hilarious. Keep it up or I'll beat you. And if you don't make me fucking beautiful I swear I'll sue your ass off.

Well, since Anime Expo in Southern California has already passed, making way for the Cons that actually count...and have 'con' in their name, let's talk about cons. This year I'm attending ComicCon- San Diego because not only will 8bit theatre, VG cats, and PennyArcade be there... But also several other amazing webcomic artists as well as those nice hookers-I mean exotic dancers that hand out free stuff. Also on the plans is Yaoi-Con in September in San Mateo. So I'm curious. Are there any cons in your area you're attending? Will you cosplay? Will there be cows? Tell me tell me tell me! That and if anyone is going to any of the aforementioned, we should totally meet up and you know...have a repeat of the last Anime Expo where I met Adam and Panda and other such OB luminaries.
Haha. Final Fantasy and writing stories is usually the only thing that cheers me up. I don't think I'll ever outgrow the video game stage of my life.
As someone going on 23 this next year, I can safely say that it's fine if you don't. In fact it's perfectly normal and most guys in my age group think it's sexy... Oh yes, and before people think "you're too young to know that," when I did my civic duty and served on a jury, a 46 year old mother of two stayed up late ever night playing Guild Wars. And another 50 year old woman was an utter WoW addict, in the same jury. We were all late one morning because we were up late the night before farming.

Oh fly and sing, for Fighter is King! Actually as per my cosplay which you've all seen, I prefer White Mage. She's so patient and kind, except for the time she blasted that Creep with Holy Fire. But seriously I used to have the SwordChucks shirt back from 2006 before my ex boyfriend commandeered it into his closet. And then I saw it AGAIN on one of his friends which makes me think my shirt has changed hands again! ......grrrrr... Btu seriously I follow it religiously and prefer it to most other webcomics out there in taste of sheer genius, comedic value, and obscure philosophical reference. Oh yes and since I'm going to Comic Con in San Diego this year I get to see them and hold their hands and look them in their faces and get their autographs. SUCKERS! -

Our intrepid hero, the great Master of Weaponry Korey stalks the Might Desbreko. His movements are stealthy, sure, the mark of a great hunter of fellow game players. We fear for Desbreko's life, for surely the Great Korey shall overcome him in the name of loot and booty! He raises his sword, but Desbreko turns a corner and the camera angle foils Korey's devious plans. Alas! But wait, here comes another new warrior, recently joined to the ranks of the great fighters for freedom, justice, and the Hyrulian way! Actually it's probably nothing like that but what the heck, we'll run with it. Aberinkula, loaded down with gold and jewels from his recent vicious maiming of barnyard animals stumbled into Korey's brilliant trap and found that his last memory would be the sight of the valiant Korey jumping towards him and swinging his blade. His battle cry echoed throughout the land. "Gimmie all ur lootz nao!" Aberinkula fell tragically, and found him corpse stripped of all the belongings that he had killed so many to obtain. So sad, so sad. But Korey was happy and that's all that mattered after all. Recently gained booty safely stowed away, The Great Korey resumed his hunt for the elusive Desbreko. Slayer of the Bad People! Protector of his Enormous Manhood! But this is getting a bit tangental. Moving on. Korey switched back through the small and carefully bit mapped forest and found Desbreko heading down the path towards Korey, his loot sack bulging with thus far, inexplicable wonders. Readying his sword, Korey tensed up and prepared for a full on attack, hoping the famous element of surprise would serve him in good stead for removing from Desbreko the superfluous loot that should've, by all rights he thought were his, belong to him after all. And just as he prepared to deliver the first and possibly final killing blow, he found himself falling headfirst into the pit that the brilliantly thoughtful Desbreko had dug in the path before him. He leaned down and shouted with one hand cupped around his mouth. Vanquished, Korey discovered that he'd dropped his pile of loot just before he had fallen. What irony. "Curses. I knew this was too good to be true." Desbreko's mocking laughter filled the air, his joyous tones announcing to the world that he was a brilliant warrior. And what a hell of a warrior too.. "I knew you were coming you know! Nobody can defeat me! MASTER OF LOOT!" Our recently perished hero sadly died in ignominy and failure, as his loot was claimed by Desbreko and used to build an orphanage for disadvantaged children.

She blushed slightly at their intrusion, Alex and Devin leaning over her shoulders. Summoning up all the good cheer that she could fake while still not quite caffeinated into a zen like state that she had always depended on to carry her through the typically sunlit hours, Ilona smiled. Zahir looked like he wanted to stammer something, but Natalia put on a less surprised look in greeting. Alex grinned almost immediately. "Why hello there. I take it you crawled through tubes to get this far?" "Well there were some Biohazard signs we looked at first." "So did you guys find the cafeteria? I think there's going to be coffee there!" The others around her chuckled as she looked expectantly at Zahir and Arthur, as if expecting them to produce coffee spontaneously, or by sheer force of will for fear of making her smile go away. Instead, they had to shake their heads sadly. "Not at all, but we did figure out how we're going to get back to the ship instead. It's a little riskier than we'd like, but it's better than going the rest of our lives unfed and in your case, decaffeinated." "And god knows we can not have that." Devin put a reassuring hand on Ilona's shoulder before looking closer at the computer panels. Meanwhile, Ilona and the others stepped into the office and took up various comfortable positions. Ilona for one wasn't about to interfere. She knew next to nothing about how space ships and stations worked outside of there was energy and it was channeled into stuff to make things float. Or fly. Or hum. Whatever. They didn't pay her to be an engineer anyway. Instead she peered around the room and decided that despite it being an office, there was in fact, no coffee maker. With a dejected sigh, she crossed her arms loosely across her chest and looked towards the pod doors. "So how will this work exactly? I'm afraid I know next to nothing about this sort of thing." "Well there's these escape pods we're going to go into and then some other stuff and then hopefully we'll be picked up and not die out there and -" Natalia and Arthur fixed Zahir with a slightly less than kind stare and Natalia leaned forward towards Ilona slightly. "Actually our daring escape plan is slightly better than the way that sounds, if I do say so myself.

Oh goodie, now I can post! It's only been...a month? Anyway I'll be sure to make it appropriately awkward, since of course Ilona and the others have literally no idea what you were all talking about before they stumbled in.

While you CAN be happy on your own without the love of another, I'd suggest that you not live on false hopes. That he'll get back together with you, that things will change and always be better than this. Because given your age and the way you've already given away your heart so quickly, if you keep doing it, you'll be making several more threads in this vein in the future. Not that I'm suggesting it's all inevitable. You can control your own life and not have it depend solely on the actions of the people around you that happen to be cruel. But don't live on illusions, they're not very nourishing.

Baby baby, it was a movie. And besides, the only movie to successfully represent a book was "To Kill A Mockingbird." All others typically mangle, leave out, or completely gloss over the good parts of any and every book. So don't feel bad. And I went into it knowing that it's already a guild of assassins and not super villains with tight bums. It was the only way I could forget that the comic was astronomically better. But since we all know that the X-men and Spiderman comics were ALSO infinitely better than the movies, I'm not sure why you're so angry about this particular bit of new stuff.

Well dear god you're a little young for all this heartbreak. You should definitely never think that far ahead in life when you're as young as you are. Not to talk down to you, but planning marriage at your stage of development is unwise and as you've discovered, is a recipe for utter heartbreak. It's just not a wise thing to do. Better to live each day as you can, and not think of the future when you're as young as you are. Just remember, you're not made of glass unless you really want to be. There are plenty of humans in the world more worthy of your love. If he loves your friend and she loves him back, just know that it probably has very little to do with you, as harsh as that sounds. And strictly speaking, you'll definitely get over it. You can be the adult in the situation and not dwell on past mistakes. Regrets will do nothing for you. If she's still your friend, or wants to be kind to you, let her. I'm pretty sure she'll understand how awkward things are for you. And knowing and acknowledging that you made mistakes makes you a better person than you would've been otherwise. You need to calm down, find something relaxing to do, and force yourself to eat if you must. Sleep is also important for dealing with stress, so use any means necessary to get it. 9 hours should be enough for someone your age. You'll be stronger for this suffering. But if you still feel this way in six weeks, then talk to someone about it. That's typically the right amount of time. Just remember that running into someone else's arms is not going to make you feel better in the long run. Don't rebound on someone who totally isn't worth your while. And just remember that your heart might be temporarily dead, but it can resurrect when you're ready for it to.

Like many deep sleeping vampires, Linnett's dreams became one long story, unraveling slowly for her over time. The story of her life, but she could watch it through impartial eyes, so pleasant for a change, rather than to feel the lash of her father's chain whips, his leather, his cat-o-nine's. Instead she could see the girl she used to be writhing in pain and cringing like a starving puppy under her father's hand. The head of the clan, brutalizing the misbehaving back into line. She wasn't the only wild child that had been born to the clan. But she had been the strongest. The fastest. The most insane. And she'd lived and grown up into a woman with a light veneer of pleasantries and kindness. And she watched the dream again, this time remembering the party of a debuting vampiress. A normal one. Newly changed, but being introduced into society none the less. Linnett had promised to behave herself to her brother, but she'd crossed her fingers behind her back. It was when someone had been rude to her, that everything changed. "It was that bastard's fault. All his fault. She saw the girl brush down the staircase in her brilliant dress of bright crimson, gold threads shot through it all. And she still waited behind the pillars of the main hall. Most of her peers had shunned her. Some were surprised that she'd even shown her face. But there Linnett was, daughter of the patriarch, in a simple cloth of silver dress, with drop pearl earrings glittering across her slim neck, and fingers painted a sort of pearly opalescence that changed as she walked across the marble floor. Kai watched her with his arms crossed, the muscles visible through his tailored suit, watchful for violence. Part of him knew that Linnett could only be so well behaved when met with prejudice and hatred. And it didn't take long. As Linnett accepted a steel cut fold of blood to sip throughout the festivities, she turned and was about to look for her younger brother, only to accidentally bump into one of the young male vampires that had been recently introduced only weeks before. Her drink was joggled from her hand and it splashed across the white marble in a bright swath of color. She immediately turned with a simple apology, Kai's attention quickly switching over. He saw as she spoke softly, too softly for most to hear except him, who had seen this coming. "I beg your pardon. I didn't see you." "Watch yourself! Stupid girl." "...what did you just say?" Kai moaned inwardly and quickly strode across the floor, weaving through the throngs of cheerful laughing vampires just in time to see Linnett bare too-long fangs and splay her fingers into the same sharp claws she'd always used to rip open her prey. The male vampire, overly confident and so cocksure that he'd live forever bared his own, even if they were a good two inches shorter than hers. Her hiss attracted the attention of every vampire that still had working ears, and she was about to leap at him face first when Kai filled his lungs and used the Voice as quickly as he knew how. "Linnett Ip Dynn! I call and command thee!" Almost immediately, her eyes rolled back in her head and her neck snapped backwards, her body arching with it. Almost balletic, the onlookers saw her fall gracefully into her brother's arms in a dead faint, while the male vampire jerked awkwardly back, the Voice jangling his nerves and throwing off his balance. Linnett murmured something incoherent in her brother's arms, her hair sweeping across her face in a beautiful tableaux of innocence and quiet. Her father didn't even take notice. What mattered was that she'd been completely subdued before attacking. And later, reposing between white linen sheets, she curled up and dreamt of rending the flesh from his face and eating his heart from his chest.

I laughed and laughed, sitting in the charred remains of the dead. Smoldering ashes rained down from above, the smoke trailing upwards while Crystia maintained the shield like I'd asked her to. Billy and Sevara had landed already and Neil was still circling above in long, lazy loops. Andrew was nowhere to be found, but my husband was already walking across the field, taking his time, his one eye glittering maniacally in the bright light. I slowly let my talons recede into my fingers and cocked my head, ears twitching almost lazily. I stretched my legs out in front of me and luxuriated in the warmth I'd created. Sevara was breathing slightly heavier than her brother, but as the first real off world skirmish they'd ever had, I was still rather pleased that both were unharmed. "Do you think there'll be more?" "Hungry for blood again Billy? You're worse than Neil." He mugged a sheepish look and I smirked, then looked back up at the sky, falling back with my arms behind my head. Neil landed and leaned over to take a better look at the fangs still in my mouth. "Can't find Andrew or any sign of any more attackers." "Fine, we'll just go back to the house and keep a watch." I pulled myself up and leaned against my husband's arm, then, as if teasing him, I tweaked his tail and then shot into the air, spiraling towards the house in a tight corkscrew motion. Sevara followed with a vaulting move she'd picked up in gymnastics and did a handspring into the air, moving faster than her twin. Billy and Gavin and Neil followed behind, much slower by comparison, and Crystia greeted us, peering out from behind the chimney. She stayed curled up on the tile roofing as we slipped into the house by various entrances, and then sealed them up behind. Making tracks for the showers, I stripped off my sweaty, smoky clothing and found Kiwi sitting in her playpen in the middle of the master bathroom, giggling and clapping her hands and levitating slightly. .....levitating? I leaned over for a closer look and she caught my eye, and immediately plopped back down. "Kiwi? What's that?" For an answer, the strawberry blonde baby just cooed at me, and clapped her hands yet again, then leaned back and looked up at the white ceiling, rolling onto her side to get at the sippy cup Crystia had dropped in. I shook my head and turned on the water to something cool, since my body was still too warm to touch her sensitive skin. Gavin followed in soon after and gave me a kiss that lightly burned his lips just the same. He leaned over and did the same on my neck, the cold water steaming up immediately as it hit my flesh. "Will there be more?" "There's always more. The relative peace we had with Billy and Sevara after killing Morrigan was never going to last. And we still don't know where Eriju and Vicky went." "They'll send us a transmission eventually, I'm sure of it." I didn't really believe it myself but I had other things to think about. Like where Andrew could've gone off to, and why Kiwi was suddenly levitating in her playpen. Sure it was just a few feet off the ground, and not enough to really hurt her if it suddenly stopped, but I was still a little surprised. Most children of Saiya-jin descent were either impossible to please, completely withdrawn, or were incapable of controlling their power freely. Kiwi was none of those. Thus far she had been a very cheerful baby, eager to laugh and hum randomly with me. And she showed no signs of concentration while floating. It actually looked utterly effortless. I furrowed my brow as the water streamed down me, only to have Gavin kiss my forehead as if to say, "Less thought, more me."

As such in full sunlight she wears heavily hooded jackets or coats, gloves, and very thick jeans and boots. Constant or continued exposure to sunlight will literally drive her mad before cancer destroys her soon after. In the evenings she dresses warmly in very much what she wears during the day. Favoring darker colors to blend in, she usually keeps her head covered as she is rather noticeable. Manjusra will never be able to wear clothes that show off her decidedly pale skin, but on the other hand, that's less and less of a disadvantage when considering her choice of profession. With all the dark clothes she wears it's difficult for people to see her crouching in the shadows, much less get a good look at her. Biography: Living alone in the crowded city, never paying attention to others, I suppose you could say Man's inhumanity to Man always turned me off to the whole humanity thing. I don't like people and I never did. But I don't like freaks any more. In fact I never liked them but I could always see them coming. Just didn't look right to me. Madness smirking in their smiles, in the corners of their eyes. But they never bothered me before because I never lingered long enough to make myself look tasty. Or vulnerable. And even if I only moved in the night time, it didn't make much of a difference to me. Perhaps that was why I never appreciated fully...the truly sinister nature of the monsters roaming the world in human flesh. I always knew that the night held evil inside it's empty thoughts, but I never really knew, and it never became real for me. It didn't have to when I was removed from it in a way only an XPer like me could be. Maybe I should've paid more attention. But I liked to think I was achieving enlightenment by withdrawing from the world. Maybe I was in some ways, but ignoring the others was going to catch up to me. And when it did, I remember thinking to myself that it wasn't payback that was a bitch. But karma. Imbuing: I always walked in darkness, and never gave a second thought to the things that crawled and creeped around me. Was that so wrong? I know now that if I'd been watching when I should've, I wouldn't have been kneeling in the cold earth over my sister's graves. But I was. And I did. And I do it every now and then to remind myself to not just lean over the bed with my whip wrapped around my throat. They died because I let a freak sidle past me in an alley. Why he didn't eat my eyes instead of the eyes of my sisters I don't know. Maybe it's because mine looked less than human, or maybe it's because I wasn't small and helpless. But I should've checked sooner, and seen where he was going before writing it off. Later, watching the blood he'd smeared on the ceiling to taunt me, I felt pain creeping down the corners of my forehead. Smarting agony prickled my nose, made my lower lip tremble, and I should've known he was beating me home just to get to them first. Getting ahead of me I figured he had someone to kill further down the line. But instead I was kneeling and staring up with my head tilted all the way back so I could see the blood of my younger sisters swirled in script. Taunting words and little handprints from their hands. Severed at the elbows, pressed in their own blood and put on the walls for me. "Did you like that bitch?" I don't think I cried right away. It wasn't until I saw the flickering traces of the freak still lingering on my sister's bodies that I began to see my vision clouding over. And then all I saw was white. For a moment I thought that I was going to die with them, and my body disintegrate in nothing. I'd never been exposed to so much light. Never seen everything so sharply. I thought my skin would curl up and peel away, but then the light went away. And it all just became normal again. Just the corpses, just the writing on the ceiling. No shreds of rot trailing off of my sister's lips. No traces of it on their stomachs and hips. I could almost pretend it hadn't been there at all. So I turned and left. I knew that there was no DNA at the scene. And I'd read about their deaths later from the extremely dim glow of my console. Go to their graves at midnight. When people were afraid to go to graveyards, I'd still go. Better than burning up to grieve. And I grieved for months, until it happened again, but this time I saw the rot. And knew what it was. Where it was going. And when I followed I saw it about to slither in through the window. I don't know what possessed me to do it, but I pointed at the monster and barked an incomprehensible word. The thing turned to me, and I saw a streak of red down its throat. It pulsed like a heart, and I wanted to rip it out with my bare hands. But it went into the window and then all I could feel was my own pulse hissing in my ears. The sound was deafening and I realized that it'd make me back away unconsciously. And then I ran like a whipped dog. I'd read about the death later. There she is.
