Lilia's eyes snapped and sparked playfully, and she was about to say something rather nasty, when Arguyle clamped his hand over her mouth and pulled her backwards. She laughed, a muffled sound, then pointed her hand across the room in a trail of light. Vixen picked up Nina carefully and laid her down on the nearby bed. Vixen sat next to her and watched the newly changed vampire take her repose. Deathly pale, her arms crossed over her chest, body stiff and unrelaxed in sleep. In the room across the hall she could hear the laughter of Lilia, but didn't move. The alchemist working ancient one was a little too forward for her taste. "You've upset her now..." "Nonsense. .....I'm older than her, she knows better." "And the rage of an older vampyre like us... ......not a good thing." "That's right..." Lilia grinned and relaxed against Arguyle's firm grip and slid her body against his in what was a decidedly serpentine manner. "Still the same seductive one." "I try. Wait, no I don't." "And that's the beauty of it." The two exchanged an amused glance.

With a cool sort of starryeyed power, Lilia and Vixen resurfaced into the world of the mortals, and stood at the door. It was upside down. An anti-vampire charm. There were several circles drawn into the woodwork, an upside down star over the lintel. Clearly, someone had been working. An applewood beam crossed over the foreground and Lilia bared her teeth. With one hand, she delicately pressed against the star, and the surface of the door became so much mutable water. "Power of infinite earth, holder of all things, sustain the passage of my aid." Lilia rested her head against the doorpost and sighed slowly. There was a click, and Vixen stepped through, across the threshold, to where Nina was waiting. In the meantime, the elder of the two turned to face down the darkness that was quickly advancing upon her. Like dweomer, her quiet aura flared into life, showing him both her age and her temperment. It was a cool sea green, flushed with both purple of age and the dark blue of the Pisces ruled. ".....you changed her didn't you?" "Why else would she still live?" "....why a girl with a sleeping power? Do you think you will awaken it on your own?" Lilia's eyes flickered slightly, and her smile grew to spread across her face.

Dance slave, These silver chains, Binding you back to me, And as I tug them.... You move, Your body belongs, Soley to my crooked hands, And there is no escape... From this, Darkened little room, Where the lights have fled, And the people will come... To rescue, The dancing slave, I now have in my grasp, So dance for me slave... -

Flying higher, Singing stronger, Dancing better, Knowing everything. I am the pale shadows, The cool eveningtide, That comes when the sun goes away, And the simple silver stars. Dreaming longer, Resting deeper, Understanding better, Praying harder. I am the quiet mornings, The stilness coming, That brings a new life to earth, And the smallest uncurling leaf. -
Her face was impassive once more, the poker face she had perfected over years of dealing with various attacks and breakins. The Captain stood to attention, her magical armour no longer dormant. A simple straight blade hung from her wide belt, and her helmet rested in her left hand. The ultimate example of decorum and military perfection. Vajain stood, and Llilu swiftly came to attention. Her long dress whisked around her firm legs as she began walking down the steps of her throne. "I want you to gradually increase the patrols around our permiters. And send two of our spies into the Underground." "Yes Mistress." "I want the source of the assassin found." "It will be done." "That will be all." The Captain saluted and turned to go, when she felt Vajain's breath on the back of her neck. Razel smirked slightly. He could feel her dully burning anger. "I want you to find the truth. ....and while you're at it..... .....tell everyone to be on the lookout for Molvo." "Is that....wise?" "Caution outweighs this. I want you to do what you do best. And no slip ups." "Of course Mistress." "You have my leave to go." Captain Lilu turned and exited swiftly, her captain's robe flaring out behind her. Vajain walked back up to her throne and sat down moodily. Molvo was an unexpected damper on her plans, but it could be dealt with. At the same time, she found herself growing increasingly annoyed with the fact that she hadn't put him down when she had the chance.

Rena slid around the weasel clone seductively, her voice a low purr. Her tail whisked around his, rubbing gently, then trailing away ever so slowly. "I would go see the Elders again... ..but I might be tempted to break things." ".......oy." Ben looked skyward. The last meeting, still fresh in his mind, had been nothing short of a grand disaster. Either way, he didn't think she was the best diplomat to send. Crystal landed next to Rena and preened. "Me too." "......send me." Everyone turned to look at the armadillo clone in surprise. He had been relatively quite during the whole conversation, and the appearence of Jedgar. Rena grinned, showing her pearly whites with great pleasure. "Good idea." He nodded and was about to leave, when Ben interfered.

The Springtime, Rises from the frozen waste, Like steam from a rice cooker, Like a wellspring of water. The Dawntime, Pours its light down on us, Like a fond embrace, Like a gentle caress. The Equinox, Is a time for new beginings, Like a tilting of the earth, Like a spreading of something more. The People, Are of the sunlight, Like newborns in the spring, Like children learning to walk. -
Eh, for everyone elses benefit. Funny thing is, I'm not a witch by profession, I just collect athames. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "We are in what can officially be called the precint of Alrond. A place for me to stop and collect my thoughts before the next jump." "Translation.....into my language means?" "Wilderness." She laughed and rose to her feet. The reasonably frail looking blonde next to her stood as well and shifted her weight from one foot to the other. "Are we going away now?" "We're going there. Come." With a simple touch of her hand, she jerked Vixen through the wall of both space and energy. With a sound like shattering glass, they opened themselves up into a pool of blood. Vixen looked annoyed. "Where is she?" "..... .....sight for her."
-
Naturally. I hope you're comfortable in your sexuality. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lilia grinned and shook her hair so it shot back over her eyes. "Of course. I haven't lived 800 years for nothing. Remember, I might look younger than you.. ....." "But you're a lech." She laughed easily with Lila, who was walking to her wall. With practiced ease, she lifted a simple bone athame [knife] from her shelf and sheathed it at her thigh. Then she walked out of the cave, Vixen following behind. As soon as they exited, Lilia raised her hand and snapped her fingers. Instantly the vines grew thick over the entrance, forming an impenetrable hedge. Vixen grinned and held Lilia's hand. It was the fastest way to teleport to the same location without her giving away the secrets. Lilia held out her hand, like she was touching something floating before her eyes, and the two dissapeared in a shimmer of light. They reapeared, standing in the middle of the field yet again. Once there, Lilia sat down in the grass. "We are going far away." "How far?" "Across the country." Vixen rolled her eyes.

Vixen reapeared outside a cave, a place she knew belonged to only Lilia Tomoe... ...the seductress that never died, and walked in carefully. She had gotten wind of the girl escaping from the morgue. And the millions hunting the sources of the deaths and vanishings. .....lucky them. If there was an alchemist that could do a sighting for the both of them, it would be Lilia. As she padded in, she became acutely aware of a scent. One she hadn't smelled in at least fifty years. It was the scent of Lilia, and to the mere mortal, it was intoxicating in the extreme. A scent of fresh freesha blossoms, blooming in excess. Only it wasn't perfume, and it wasn't the flowers trailing down the sides of the dark cave. It was Lilia herself, who had come up behind Vixen silently, and encircled her arms around her neck and waist. With a slow purr, she licked at her ear with her almost serpentine tongue. "Ahh.... I was so lonely....thank you for visiting me Vixen." ".....of course." "So. What can the Lilia do for the Vixen? Heh, we should be exotic dancers." Her laughter was a soft tinkling sound, as she drew away from Vixen's body and walked towards the back of the cave, where she kept her... ....tools. She flicked her fingers and the wall sconces flared to life, showing spacious living quarters. A long futon bed, covered in cushions. Wall hangings of both vines and woven tapestries. A ring of stones, where her fire burned continualy. Walls full of shelves of potions, vials, decanters, all shapes, all sizes, all materials. Lilia moved delicately around her house, then stopped by her counter, where all things began. "A woman survived an attack......by one of ours. She dissapeared from the morgue." "And you want me to find her." "More or less." "Well....that should be easy. She's a new one, she's...a female, and.... ..she was in New York. But if she's learned to teleport, it could be a little harder." As she spoke, she had filled a small glass with several different liquids. Then she reached into a box and took a handful of what looekd like black sand. Then she whirrled around and threw it into the fire, sand, glass, liquid. Instantly the flames flared upwards, shooting towards the ceiling.

Lilia Tomoe Sethen smiled. Broadly. And her fangs began to protrude from her mouth. As she leaned over, her hair fell into her eyes and she brushed it away with one pale hand. Her victim shivered with what was either fear or delight.. ....too late. "Mine... ....all mine..." She had leaned down and sunk her teeth deep into his neck. He convulsed, then went still. His aura, which she had sensed flaring bright emerald, died down to a flicker of light.....soon fading as she fed from his body, draining his lifeblood away to serve her own purposes. It flowed from his arteries to her mouth, slipping down her throat, as soft as velvet. Her throat moved, swallowing deeply, then drawing back, and wiping her mouth with the back of his hand. She arranged him in a fetal position, then took a few steps back and covered him with the blanket. Like a lynx she stepped out onto the balconey in his San Fransisco apartment, her bare feet making no noise as she padded along until she stood on the railing. Without a backwards glance, she threw herself forward, her arms spread like she was diving. A flicker of blue lightning, a gentle crystaline noise, and she was gone. ........ ....... ......... She reapeared an hour later, standing in the middle of an empty field, smiling to herself at some unknown joke.

Rena threw back her head and roared with laughter, a horrible sound for the uninitiated. The sound was a cross between a bray and a chuckle, shot with half human half cat sounds. "I suppose we're going to save people now." "...I suppose you're right." "And why am I coming along master thief?" "Incase we need someone that can break open doors and drag things around." Rena pouted, she knew she was more than just brute strength.... ...and so did he... ...but she didn't like the teasing. Witha proud toss of her head, she dropped down to all fours, her spine crackling slightly and her features became far more catlike within seconds. Reth looked away. No matter how many times he had seen her morph between the humanoid and the feral states, it still creeped his flesh, made it rise up. She grinned happily at him and whined through clenched teeth. Her new shape didn't permit any sort of words to pass from her mouth. He patted her head, barely having to reach down. "But if we need seals broken or made, we'll have you for that too." She purred with pleasure and rubbed against him, her tail whisking gracefully.

Name: Lilia Tomoe Sethen Age: 800 Gender: Female Description: see attatchment Weapons: teeth? Biography: A relatively old vampiress that gives off the air of one fresh and young. ...possible by her vast knowledge of ancient alchemy. Her wide eyed grin catches many people off guard, but they are far more disturbed by the sudden transition she can make to that of a cold hearted murderer. As soon as she's alone with a victem, her fangs protrude from her glossed lips and there is much bloodletting. And screaming. She also likes sex, not necessarily something you could tell from the picture, but it's true. Often she'll seduce her victems and either drain them or change them, all depends on other mood and how much latent power the humans have. She has danced the dances, sung the songs, and drunk the wine. All in all, she likes her life and very much enjoys what she does. -
Rena bared her teeth and trotted after Ben, tail wagging like a banner. She could sense his worry, but other than that she felt nothing much. However.... ...that feline feminine intuition was certainly picking up something on the radar. Something big. Something bad. She hissed quietly through her fangs and put on a slowly changing alteration of speed. She passed through the crowds of massing clones carefully, weaving in and out, Ben and Crystal following as best they could. Soon, she could sight the sense clones and came to a screeching halt. Her claws dug into bare rock and she stopped instantly, tail plumed, eyes wild with energy, her tongue lolling out slightly. ".... .....what'sgoing on?" "My powers are being blocked.. ....something's interfering." She inhaled deeply, her amber purple eyes closing, lashes obscuring her view. Instantly a scent flashed across her mind and her tail flew up, eyes snapping wide open again. "Humans." Ben turned to look at her. "Blocking our energy?" ".....but not my other senses. They're crippling any sort of psychic energy. ...good thing feminine feline intuition remains. ........ ....bastards."

You're inebriated, I can tell, The way you're talking to me, The way you're laughing at me. Come back, The joke's done, I'm not very amused, I'm not very pleased. A *****? Maybe I am, But I'm just a friend, But I'm just a girl. Get your, Life back together, Cause there's more to this, Cause there's more to you. -
She caught him, partially breaking his fall, the manhole slamming itself shut after his swift and sudden descent. She sighed and pulled him away from the ladder, dragging him further back. The woman and baby looked at her oddly. Indeed, Luyii had never felt more out of place. She was far from home, in a manhole beneath the city that was under attack from what she once knew as home. The baby blinked, then closed his eyes and went to his rest. The mother, her face missing, looking strangely inhuman, held the baby closer and turned away. Luyii shook her head sadly and reached into her pocket, drawing out a lighter. With a swift snaping noise, she lit it and held it close to Smith's face. He looked more or less unhurt, if a little on the scorched side. She leaned agains the cool metallic walls and closed her eyes as well, his head in her lap. Instead of thinking about how long it would be until she ever found some peace again, she found herself wondering just what would it be like to go back up and see a wasteland. If anything had survived, she dreamed of what it might be. Maybe a single flower plant in the middle of nowhere. A weed, standing tall, after thousands of bombings. ....what a sight that would be. "Why are you here?" "Why didn't you go home when you had the chance?" "Did you want to stay when you knew this would eventually happen? Why did stay?" "Why didn't you tell them the truth?" "You couldn've done something.....anything.....to prevent this." Her mind reeled at the sudden accusations, and she knew she was dreaming. But at the same time, was it real? She knew that voice. It was the voice of her little sister, asking her these impossible questions. Questions she never wanted to have to answer. But she knew that ignoring them now would be an even greater mistake. .....then again. She didn't make a mistake. "I was sent. ....how would I have gone home? ......I don't think there's any place I could have gone to be safe. They would do nothing. You saw the machines in the Infrastructure...it was pointless." "All I can do now is stay, and wait for something new." Smith didn't stir, but he opened his eyes. Luyii was apparently asleep, her eyes vacant and staring, her chest rising and falling normally. And her lips were moving, with no sound coming out. Then she stopped, and her eyes closed once more.

Name: Rena K'yahai Age: 21 Hair: see attatchment, held back with silver clips, a gift from her master. Eyes: Generally hazel/honey, sometimes red with bloodlust. Race: Half blood. A cross between mountain lion and human. Job: Melee fighter. Occupation: Hunter Weapon: Teeth, claws, tail. sub weapon- The chain at her waist, sometimes used in magical workings Abilities: Generally able to lift three times her weight, and haul it up a mountain/tree to eat later. Also able to manipulate those magic lines I talked about in the Bio to manipulate the surrounding organic matter to suit her wishes. In the attatchment she's drawing up the magic lines so she can break open the ground below and reach an underground spring. Appearance: see attatchment. That's all black deer-hide btw. Personality: Wild-eyed and agressive, she'll rip your throat open if you insult her, but really...... ...she's generaly a likeable person. When you meet her she'll be civil, until you show some sort of agression of your own, then...naturally, she'll challenge you to a duel and then the fur will start flying. She likes babies and animals and birds of prey. They're fun to catch. Biography: A magical fusion, thrown into a panther body and a human baby has resulted in Rena K'yashai. An alchemest and a sorceress, interested in making a new breed of warrior and magical creature succeeded in creating the half blood known as a Pantherborn. The baby is broken down into a simple life force, then impanted in the heart of the mountain lion. Then...after several weeks fo gestation, the mountain lion will transform swiftly and violently into a cross breed. And that's where we get loyal servants and warriors to do the biddings of their owners. Of course Rena was released as a failed experiment. Why...? ....because she showed too much humanity, let her victems live if she found them worthy. Of course she has proven herself in battle over and over again, that and she has a deep skill with the manipulation of magical lines. What are those? ...just what they sound like. Invisible lines, some can see them, some can use them, but most don't know they're there. Rena sees them thanks to the sorceresses workings, which, were partialy on accident. So anyway, we have a magic using death dealing wild cat on the lose, free to roam, free to take a hire, and free to save the world.

Love Song For A Savior: Jars of Clay. In open fields of wild flowers, She breathes the air and fly's away, She thanks to Jesus for, The daisies and the roses, Of no simple language, Some day she'll understand. The meaning of it all, He's more than the laughter, Or the stars in the heavens, As close as heartbeats, Or songs on her lips. Some day she'll trust him, Learn how to see him, Some day he'll call her and she will come running, Fall in his arms, The tears will fall down and she'll pray. I want to fall in love with you. -

Dip your head down, To rest against mine, As we sit here, And I drift away. Your hands so warm, On on my cheek, The other resting, On my hands. And my knees curl, Up against your lap, As my eyes slowly, Bring my lashes together. I am comfortable, Here with you, I am safe, In your arms. And as I drift away, To the darkest place, The quietest realm, I hear your voice...... .......somewhere. -
Only slightly nonplussed at everyone elses reaction, Lilia Sethen looked up, straining her neck slightly. She had seen the blueprints before, so it wasn't all that great. That and the scent of plastic and metal was making her slightly nauseous. .....of course the blood test didn't help. Needles were not her friend. "It's big." "Looks hard." "........dear god that was wrong." The three ladies exchanged an amused glance that quickly dissapaited as the "tour guide" beckoned them to board the ship. Lilia followed obediently, her linen pants flaring out gracefully with her walk. This wasn't that fascinating to her, besides....her only responsibility was to breif people and generally keep them informed. So for her....a basic tutorial of microhpones, speakers, and intercoms would work. But naturally, the men wouold insist that all of the above would be learned as they dragged her through an exhaustive tour. ".......men."

As soon as she heard the footsteps of her knight approaching, and looked up into his blood changed eyes, she smiled to herself and settled back in her throne. He approached the dais and knelt on one knee. Then he stood and made his report. Vajain's face was impassive. He couldn't tell if she was furious, or simply amused at the newest attempt on her most worthy life. As soon as he finished she waved her hand and he stood. She stood as well, then faced the far wall of her room and raised her palm. Instantly letters formed at her fingertips and she clenched her fist. With a swift flick of her wrist a line of writing spiraled out into the air and twisted down throught the closed doors. It spiralled onwards until it came to rest before her beloved brother's eyes. Klian read the spitful hate filled message and shapped his fingers to absorb it. Meanwhile his more than just a little furious sister sank back into her throne and sighed with disgust. "Another attempt.... ..you'd think they'd give up by now." "Yes Mistress." "You've done very well." "....thank you......" She sat up a little and leaned on her elbow, palm to her cheek. As usual, Lilia Sethen had chosen a seat next to the front, which placed her in very close vicinity of the captain. He looked at her out of the corner of his eye. She was wearing another linen suit, obviously without a shirt underneath. But no matter, she was more or less covered. In her lap rested a professional style breifcase, which was more than likely stuffed full of various papers and documents, if then pen on her right ear was any indication. A regular study-a-holic if he had ever seen one. Without warning she turned her head to him and smiled again. "Good day Captain." "Greetings Lilia, did you have a good 24 hours free?" "Yes. I sent through the files of our upset friend. Found more than just a little information. It's all in my lap." "....You worked the entire time?" "More or less." She smiled again and looked forwards, clutching the case a little closer to her chest. "Did you see the whiteboard I had capitalized on?" "More or less" "Heh, I can't seem to stop working when I have something to solve. Like....why he knew about all the classics in Earth's literature and why he was reciting them in bits and pieces." "I don't think his knowledge of our works were that impressive." "Then apparently whatever's infected him knows alot more than we give it credit for. And it's smart. A little too smart." She sighed to herself and leaned back, relaxing once more. Mentally she rehearsed her report in her head...... ...relaying it back and forth.
