Senrai Megelani adjusted the hood of her travelling cloak and smiled to herself. The sabre in its sheath clinked musically against the talismans hanging from her belt. She turned back to look at the path stretching behind her, then forwards toward the forest looming large. Without missing a beat, she kept on walking, her stride long and smooth. The nightengale sang her plantive song in the trees above the path. Senrai looked up and replied with an undulating call from her own throat, the tones and notes shifting along the scale musically. She turned and continued on her way, the darkness inside her lying dormant, at rest, like a pool unstirred by the wind. "Tonight.... ...........is a good night." She smiled softly and looked up at the stars, twinkling brightly. One of them flashed, and she looked down at the earth again. The darkness in her swirled, then turned into a violent maelstrom. "MY CHILD." She looked up again, eyes wide with terror, pupils clouding over into black. It was that voice again. The voice she had almost forgotten. She hadn't heard it in ages. At least 100. Senrai Megelani shivered and sank to her knees. "Yes...... I am here." "Rise and do as I command. ....you are my slave, you shall do as I say." She bowed her head. "What would you have me do master?" "Meet my son, go from there. Find the followers of the White Lasin and remove them. This is my wish and my will." ".....hai."

"Keep your mind clear....think about being healed." Trini didn't move, she merely relaxed her body. How she could hear Satell's voice she didn't know, but it was soft and soothing, and warm. It kept her from slipping away. "I'm here.....the people you love are all here." Sam looked at Satell, worry written on every line. She was concentrating, Trini was bleeding, everything was going- "Calm..... .....stay here with me." Her voice rang out over the worries escalating in Sam's mind. Both patient and bystander heard her voice, and agreed. Satell appeared to be in a trance, body also relaxed, her fingers spread over the wound and covered with blood. A small light began at Satell's fingertips and worked their way down into the wound. Sam could see the sinews and tissues literally weave themselves back together, aided by the light coming from Satell's hands. The lights flickered overhead but Satell didn't move. The bleeding slowed down to a trickle, then stopped all together. Trini opened her eyes, her chest rising, inhaling deeply. Satell removed her fingertips, smiling softly.

He leaned down and kissed her forehead gently. She reached up with trembling arms and put them around his neck. Allen leaned down and she looked up at him, smiling softly. "Well then." "......stay here." "I'm fine." "No, you need to heal. Give it some time." Satell gave him a look that said: "You're not gonna make me." She stood, legs steady, eyes focused. "I'm fine. And no, I'm not staying here to wait for you to be the hero and magically save us." "...I-" "Nor will I watch my comrades suffer while I can do something about it." She headed for the door, showing no signs of any injury, nor feeling any. Allen shrugged and followed. She had apparently healed... ....at least her force of will.

Writing Today's Poem [M -- As a Precaution]

Wake up at the crack of dawn, It's still dark outside, The clouds gathering, Barely breaking apart. Slide out of bed very slowly, Feet on cold floor, Eyes blearily opening, Almost parting completely. Look up at the condensation, Coating the window pane, And smile thinly, While pulling together. Spread the clothing out, Pick the favorites, And don them with ease, Then zip the boots up. Walk out the door, Down the stairs, And head for the exit, Over the burned out light. -
Rena grinned, a terrifying sight for most. Her fangs spread throughout her mouth, filling it neatly, ...or perhaps not so neatly. Her canines were huge and her bicuspids were honed into fine points. The birds departed, leaving only herself and Crystal. The Elders, annoyed slightly, had departed to places unknown. "...excellent work." "I did nothing.....just stated my name and rank." "It apparently meant something to them." "Well, the house might've had something to do with it." "The 7th house?" "The oldest and most powerful. We roam where we will, and we take what we want. ....but we don't abuse the power we have." "Birthright alone?" "Partially. But many of us are, and were, fierce warriors in our own rights." She grinned insanely once more and flexed her limbs. The muslces in her legs and back rippling and standing out. Like cords, shot with sinews and flesh. Crystal could almost here the blood in her veins thrumming with unreleased power.

Excecute the moves, Don't falter at all, Bring your arm around, And raise it slowly. All eyes down, Over your smooth form, Press the feet down, But just dig in. Sway the movements, Keep them always fluid, Force yourself to concentrate, And remember to let. This time, Be yours, Not theirs, Where you show what you know. -

Light drifts down, Spreading into rays, As the water moves, And the inhabitants sway. The warmth is a flood, Entering every part of them, And spreading life, Where there could only be death. Echoes are heard, Very slow and quiet, And there is an overwhelming peace, That covers everything. -
Satell inhaled her breath sharply, feeling an old dull pain rise in her chest. Just like before, maybe not half as bad, but still enough to warrant her following course of action. She stumbled and fell hard, onto her side, against the wall, shivering. Allen caught her just before she slammed into the ground, and held her up. ".....what's going on?" "....the usual. ....just get me...... to Trini." "You're going to be okay." ".....mm..." The familiar blue tinge took her lips over again and Allen cursed. The worst possible thing that could've happened had happened. Another crew member out of comission, just not permanantly. He held her tightly and raced through the halls, headed for sickbay. "Hang on."

Senrai inhaled deeply, then raised her hackles angrily. The samurai looked unruffled, until she took a single step forward and rocked the ground they were standing on. "Get lost. ......and while you're at it go get stuffed." "So the rumors were true." Senrai restrained herself from jumping him and ravaging that face he called his own. Trace watched her check herself and smiled slightly. Not a mindless killer....but sometimes awfully close to it. Those energy signals, why wouldn't she be able to sense them? Or was she already sensing them? "....do you know what Colt's talking about?" "You mean this bastard samurai that knows sorcery?" ".....you can smell that?" "Of course."

A slow dancing angel, Makes her way through the sward, Not even looking heavenwards, Because she isn't one of them. Wings have been clipped, And now she's here, The earth angel that everyone knows, But nobody cares about. And although some might like her, It's a passing emotion, And while others are in love, It's never really real. Because nobody can love someone, Who loves all of them, And can't possible single out one, To stay with for the rest of this mortal life. Is she imortal? No, she is simply an earth angel, With no rights therin, Except maybe one. She loves them all, No matter what they do, And this love will be her undoing, But she doesn't even care. -
Sign Up The White Lasin [PG-13] {For Violence, and the such}
Raiha replied to Dmitri_Dragoon's topic in Theater
Name: Senrai Megelani Age: 300 Race: Sidhe Class: Sorceress/Wanderer Weapons: Simple curved blade with double prongs on the handle and edge. Leafblade in a thigh sheath. Affiliation: Dark Lasin Personality: Happy most of the time, generally cheerful, and a very sweet girl. But when provoked, or exposed to darkness of any sort, she becomes very violent, subject to swift burts of power, and lashes out indiscriminantly. Description: see attatchment. Underneath the armour is a simple white tunic, and a skimpy one at that. Bio: The daughter of a wanderer and a forest sidhe. Her power came by accident. One evening she was walking through a dark forest and came upon a stream. Of course, she touched the water, and was infected with darkness. By sheer force of well she keeps it from consuming her, instead she lets it lie, and does nothing to provoke its growth......she lets others do that for her. -

The way your body arches, The way the snarl overcomes your features, As you growl, And I answer back. I bare my teeth in response, You claw your hands, And the both of us, Engage in the glare that lasts forever. You've lost your sanity, And I barely cling to my own, But the only problem is, That we both like it. Losing what fragile control, We liked to think we had, And now that we're here, And feral. I can't imagine anything, That would make me love, This life I'm living, Any more than I already do. -

Why do we even talk? You're cruel, I'm mean, We're both so different. Ah well I guess there's only one reason, Hope for some gain, However illcit, And clandestine by nature. You're a bad boy, I'm a naughty girl, But I still have some semblance of morals, However dim. I'm not sneaking out for you, You'll just have to wait, But in the meantime, Carry on. -
My sense of adventure is in my pants. Name: Shraii Chi-Rha Age: 24 Gender: Female Occupation: Federal Agent, soon to be a disvowed Federal Agent. Excellent hacker, can also tear apart a computer and put it back together again. Appearance: see attachment. The "goods" are kept in a place that shall remain nameless. Weapons: Teflon survival knife, a poisoned comb, to which she has an immunity to, and one Glock, 9mm. Personality: Calm, cool-eyed, and even emotionally vulnerable. She can be sarcastic, but generally saves that emotion for when she's attacked or insulted. In the face of danger, she will not crack, but rise up to challenge it in a way that most can not understand. She'll either bend with it until it breaks or go give it enough rope until it hangs itself. Bio: The daughter of a Triad "consort" and an member of the INS, Shraii is very ....diversified...shall we say. Anything else about her is either locked in uncrackable safes or requires a Federal access code. Sorry.

She smiled softly, a memory of an old pain crossing momentarily over her features. "Yes...I suppose I am." "...but..." "Apparently I'm alive in the same way Weir is." Allen groaned and contracted into a fetal position. Too much information that didn't make sense in his already wounded head. "This is all wrong....why didn't you just...?" "I don't betray my friends, although my methods leave room for questioning." Weir laughed, leaning against the wall nonchalontly. As if there wasn't a female in the immediate vicinity that could kill him....make him deader than he already was. "Either way, yes, I am dead. But I'm here now, so maybe I'm not really dead." "...it doesn't make any sense." "Where were we told that life should make sense?" Her smile was gentle now, and she was laughing ever so softly. Weir's face hardened slightly at the sound and he turned to her. But she had already raised her hand, and gripped him by the throat.

That makes two of us Dmitri.....coulda sworn Gen was with us. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "London....how cotteish." The employer smiled thinly and drew Satell down into his lap. She relaxed and leaned against his chest, quite comfortable for the moment, even if she would like nothing better than to rip out his vocal cords with her freshly manicured hands. "How long will it take to get there?" "The Concord dear....half the time it would take anyone else." "I thought it wasn't running." "It's been modified. Persay. We have use of it." Gen and Trini were both surprised. But Satell wasn't in the least. Being his .....personal slave...... ...left a lot of room for snooping in sensitive files. Either way she played it off well. Their employer smiled and placed the file on the table top. Tickets, boarding cards, preassigned seating. And their luggage had already been transfered to the airport. "You leave for Heathrow in two hours. Get cracking.

I'm at a loss for words, The way you treat me, It's sometimes bad, But sometimes good. And the way you wink, And compliment me, And even talk, Is simple pleasure. Every time we speak, I leave a little more, Happy than I was, Even if it's just a few words. But what I can't say, Only gets in my way, But I don't really understand, Why I'm at a loss for words when I'm with you. -
"Going to stay topless?" "You have a problem with it?" Her defensive tone almost made Satell laugh out loud, but she controlled the impulse by sheer force of will. "Of course not. Do you?" Trini was about to respond when Satell took off her blazer, revealling a sheer bra, obviously Victoria's Secret in design. "Shall we?" "Sure." Trini wheeled into the parking lot, tossed the keys to the valet, and the two walked in. The stares of both the butler and the servants were priceless. Two women in bras, holding shirts and jackets over their shoulders. Not every day such a show walked through the doors. The two were led upstairs and to a drawing room. As soon as the doors opened, their employer stood, evident pleasure on his face. "Ladies, welcome." "Evening." "Lo." The two gazed over their partner with minimal interest.

Her cool voice cut across both laughter and a sick groan from Allen. It was ice. Sleet. Hail. Everything that spoke of thinly restrained danger. "I'm sure he will still live. ....unhand him now." The look Weir gave her was both one of amusement and annoyance. "And if I don't?" "You won't be able to talk for screaming." "Was that a threat?" "........you bet your sorry ass." He looked at her, then unceremoniously dropped Allen to the ground. The captain rolled into a ball in agony, clutching his bruised head with his hands. Weir turned his gaze upon Satell, who had both golorified and upgraded at the same time. She was giving him a murderous look. Two creatures that weren't mortal, and definetly not human, staring at eachother. The energy in the room was palpable, if it was visible, the light would've blinded everyone. ".......disable the gravity drive now." ".....what would that accomplish?" "I would reward you." "Like you dear captain just tried to?" "Not quite. You see......he can't kill you. But I can."

It was good, You were still short, And I was still tall, You've definetly hit puberty. It was sweet, You have a deep voice, And I was recognized, You've paid me a compliment. It was awesome, The CDs you let me rip, And the way you grinned, And acted the fool with me. It's going to happen again, You invited me down for a party, Maybe I'll come, And maybe you'll be single by then. Ha-cha and whopee. -
".....but......b....agh!" Zharra roared with laugher at his indignancy, almost dropping her weapon. "I wanted to see if you'd figure it out." "IS STHAT ALL?!?" "I also wanted to see your biceps brachii, triceps brachii, and deltoids articulate." He looked slightly confused until she flexed her own forearm. Bradley looked upwards for aid, which did not come. Zharra leaned back and smiled, adjusting her grip on the rifle. "So...having fun yet?" "I'm dragging blunt inatimate objects towards a set of very flimsy double doors to make a barricade, while a sexy female with a gun sits on a wall and laughs at my valiant efforts. What do you think?" "I think you're secretly enjoying being stared at by me." She preened once more and Bradley shook his head. He continued moving furniture and vending machines, his muscles rippling deligtfully under his skin. Zharra raised an eyebrow as he lifted yet another huge blunt object with ease. ......she whistled appreciatively. This job definetly had its perks. No pun intended.
