Writing Today's Poem [M -- As a Precaution]

Hey old friend, It's been an age, Since you graced me, With a conversation. We talk about, All those old things, The friends you've forgotten, Their names vanished. But now you, Remember our old times, And see my face, And maybe this. Is your only, True redeeming value today, Because I know this, In a month. You'll forget one more time. -
Weir's mouth opened ever so slightly. She turned over so her body was flush against his, her cheek rubbing against his own. His eyes closed in what could've only been ecstasy as she arched her back, bringing her hips up to grind against his. "You're something else...." "So make love to me." Inwardly, Satell was revelling in the changes brought to her by the ship. Not only had it given her a full figure with all the curves, it also gave her pheremones an unmistakeable scent, the kind impossible to resist. As Weir was now finding out. As he pressed his lips down to her neck, she wrapped her arms around his back, nails digging into the flesh. The two backed up into the wall, enjoying themselves. .....at least Weir was. Satell knew she could break him off in a second, but chose to keep him alive.... ......for something else to happen first, she knew a distraction was necessary. "Mmmmmm mm...." Her soft moan drove him on. Weir pulled her hair to one side, his teeth grazing the back of her neck, against her spinal cord.

These woven cords, Holding me down, Against the rough wood, And against my will. These beautiful thorns, Pressing me in, Against the sharp points, And through my forehead. These screaming crowds, Pressing me up, Against the carved grain, And through my back. Hero. -
I do hope the creatures of Bell and Book and Candle will be allowed entrance into your world. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Name: Ranforne Drisvien of the Garden Age: 600 Race: Istari; order of the Maiar Homeland: The Undying Lands Swear fealty to: Thingol Lineage: She has no father, nor mother. She was brought into being by none other than the Eru themselves. Weapons and Armour: Serpent necklace; transforms into gauntlet when attacked. Staff carved of cherrywood, reinforced with strips of mythril. Magic: Songspells; words and music used to form enchantments and snares of varying design. She also has a slight mastery over land and the natural world, namely flowers and saplings. This allows her to speed their growth and manipulate the plants to do her will. History: Surrounded by living nature she is the most happy, and will more often than not cause flowers to flourish and bloom at her touch. She remembers rising out of a stream in the Forests of Doriath and then being greeted by Thingol Greymantle himself. He welcomed her, then bade her to wander as she willed. When she walks, grass springs at her feet and when she cries, flowers form from her tears. She complied and roamed the lands, unchecked and unchallenged. On her journey through the wilderness, she picked up the language of nature and beasts, but found her afinity with flowers to be the most useful. Her knowledge of herbs and alchemy is vast, thanks to her ever growing age, and she still wanders, searching for nothing in particular, and wanting nothing in particular. Her name of power is AnnĂșnwilyaien, known only by those closest to her. If somebody calls her out by her true name, she has no choice to but answer with the truth. A slight curse bestowed upon her by a fallen Maiar. Nevertheless, she is powerful and loyal to those she swears friendship to. Personality: Calm yet cheerful, particularly when she is around light and nature. When she is confronted or challenged she becomes dark and sarcastic, lashing out indiscriminantly with both staff and magic.

"Anything else?" Zharra and Callum appeared at the end of the hall, both looking extremely self satisfied. "Yeah." "Save the children." Both Callum and Zharra flicked their respective laser disks simultaneously. Bailey and Liam caught them and flipped them over. Liam read the label rather uncertainly. "Hardcore porn..." "Amazing, those guards really had way too much free time." "It's probably an acronym honey." Zharra shook her head laughingly. Callum incidated the one Bailey was holding. "Drug production, Nock List, ....wow." "So, do we get a raise?" Matt looked to the ceiling for the answers, which were not forthcoming. Zharra pulled her hair back behind her ear and posed.

Weir's laughter failed to grate on her ears like it did the survivors. She shook her head, her hair fanning over her face, brushing against her bare chest, revealing the crucifix there. He peered closer and she licked her lips in response. "Questions?" "Yea.....where are you clothes?" "The same place yours are." She walked closer, her hips moving, the joints articulating smoothly. Weir didn't flinch when she brushed up against him. His dark pupils contracted in the gaze of her own silver ones. When she put her hand over his open mouth, she slid her fingertips across his lips. He bit down softly on the pads and she smiled in response. "So.... ...now that I'm here....what will you do?" "Not much, just maybe kill everyone else." "So you'll be free to violate me in my sleep?" "I was hoping you'd be awake for that last bit." Satell's mouth opened and she laughed, a cool healing sound. Weir didn't notice when every mortal's eyes opened at the sound.

I find it difficult to believe that a group of Kurds would not slay Saddam on sight after finding him. Not only is he the one responsible for the mass murder of thousands of their people, he also sorta....raped a few of their women. It would make more sense if the US found his corpse rather than got him handed to them in a basket. I see this as nothing more than a media scam to make Bush look worse in the public eye than he already does. The Democractic party would like nothing better than to see him crash and burn. As if demoralizing the troops already in Iraq wasn't enough.

Damnit it's stuck, Halfway between my throat, And my uvula, Refusing to break lose. It just stays, Trapped in my lungs, And my tongue, Has a dry feeling. This fucking cold, Refuses to leave me, And my body, Is starting to ache. -

Lavender flannel, Spread out over the floor, On top of the cutting board, Scissors and pins at hand. The newsprint pattern is laid, Pinned down so it won't fly away, And the scissors mutilate the fabric, Then pull away. Match up the pieces, Press the seams in, And away the bobbin goes, Then finish up the threads. Tie up the lose ends, Finish the elastic, Sew up the hem, And try them on. Dorm pants at half the price, Because all you paid for, Was elecricity and a little thread, To make the flannel. -
Her smile seemed to light up the entire forest, and the dryads and nyads watched them wander through the woods. From the depths of the waterfall lake, a purple tinged creature rose. Her horns and mane penetrated the mirror like surface first, then were followed by her feline body and huge wings. The water, reflecting the midnight sky, changed and began to reflect her own body. .....Drensevine smiled thinly and cracked her neck. Rena had chosen a perfect guardian. Like a bird, she rose until she hovered over the oasis. The web hummed and sang with the newly released power while Drensevine flexed her wings and rotated slowly, taking in the view. Rena smiled and twisted the strands of magic arond her ring finger. They solidified into a simple silver band and bonded to her skin. Kenneth glanced over at it. She grinned at him and peered through her spread fingers. "The idea is to give Mechery a false sense of security." "...won't she be able to tell the difference between metal and magic?" "Maybe, maybe not. She's not omniscient. ....not yet anyway." "....wonderful." "I knew you'd like that bit of news."

Callum giggled and clicked the file. It opened, and instead of lovely pictures of females sucking *BEEP* it showed several other files of what appeared to be useless information. The two computer programers exchanged a puzzled glance, then peered closer. A little bit of this, a little of that, hello. ....Zharra smirked and wrapped up everything. Callum was about to protest when she removed the laser disk and popped in another. It whirred into action and the entire harddrive was wiped clean. She posted up a sticky for anyone to find and typed the following words; "Nice work, Slugheads." She closed up the cases and inserted all three into her bra. Then she stood and cocked her 9mm. Callum rolled his eyes and followed her into the hallway, which was devoid of life. "Tell me they're outside Zharra." "They're outside Zharra." She groaned and flicked her radio earring. "I have a bad feeling bout.... .....those files. If they were smart enough to label them porn, we should probably..." "Copy them before they crash?"

The preperation was stiff, We hauled out that puppy, Slammed it down on the stage, And I stamped it up and down. Then I found the Phillips, Losened the damn taps, Bloch shoes aren't worth the trouble, And then laced them up. I adjusted my collar, Jinglebells clanging merrily, Then I turned and marched up the aisle, Signalling my dad at the booth. I stepped out boldly, Like always and grinned, That insipid smile that won't leave, No matter how many times I do it. And with a shuffle and a step, I excecuted the moves, Over the sheet of plywood, And charmed my invisible audience. -
Satell's voice rose to a keening pitch and she roared out her own answer. Trini covered her ears as her scream reverberated and shook the ships. Both her own emotions and her will to survive overpowered Weir's voice, putting it to shame. "I'm coming!! Not for you but for Him!" Trini blinked. She had been walking with Satell, but she had dissapeared. Satell stretched out her right hand and reapeared in Weir's presence. Her entire body seemed to be giving off a slight radiance, her skin was becoming more transparent by the minute, showing the veins and arteries beneath and the blood pounding through them. Her clothing was gone, nothing but her hair sliding down her back and her bare hands and feet. Her knife was still in the sheath, the only thing on her body. Weir grinned and gave her what could only be called a "once over." She showed him feral teeth in response. "I'm here."

It's the attack of the prep, Coming subtle, A slow change, So slight I barely noticed. It started with the shirts, That my big sister gave me, Aeropostale name brand, And I'm sure. It'll spiral out of control, When I go to college, And have my own plastic, So maybe I'd better resign myself. My prep days approach, Even though I still wear those shoes, And own those pants, And smile so bold. -
Trini heard the announcement, but didn't stop treating Satell. Her wounds weren't critical, and the bruises dissapeared easily enough when rubbed with another salve. Satell's face was almost expressionless. .....they could all hear the running, and she could taste the fear. It was like a poison slipping through their veins. Trini leaned over and brushed her hair back out of her face. "What's wrong?" "I think .......somebody's going to challenge me for the right.....to be here." "You're just a human." "No- not a human anymore. ....I can't remember before, I feel a presence inside me that takes my rights away, I can't be just myself." "....the ship then." "And we're in deep shit. Something might not like me alive, and something will stop me." She looked away, disturbed. Satell's face was starting to brim with energy. The bruises and lacerations slowly closed themselves. She sat up and touched the scars over her heart. They were visible, and she smiled thinly. Trini handed her another shirt. She zipped it up, letting the cool fabric brush against her recently healed skin. Then she stood and reached into her locker. ....a knife. She pressed it into her thigh sheath and turned around. "Take me back."

Deep in the Nethersign that was the Faceless God's domain, the being in question pulsed and breathed. The creature was six winged and humanoid. His body was covered by the four wings and his feet were covered by the remaining two. Nobody, save his seraphic servants ever saw his face... ....that is if he had one. His coloring was completely absent, like somebody had washed out all the color. The only color was the angelic hosts swirling above, around, and beneath him. The Faceless God was all powerful, in the esoteric realm. But otherwise he was annoyingly helpless. His portion of the web was by far the largest in control over the other four gods, and he did not abuse his power. Rather, he saved ituntil the most oppertune time. Which was usually very far down the line. Alujah, Tai and Captain of his hosts was streaking upwards to his throne. Or lack of one. The clouds reshaped themselves to accomidate his floating form. Tai Alujah spread rainbow wings and paused. "Mechery and Ochkik Haddah are meddling again." The Faceless God moved a wing to the side, exposing one bright eye....which resembled a brilliant opal. "Let them do as they will. When it gets out of hand, talk to me again." He swirled his wing back over his face and signalled the end of the audience. Tai Alujah furled her wings and backflipped out of his presence. So much for doing her job.

The three ate, or did not eat, rather quickly. The movie concluded and the stewardess collected everyone's trash. Gen scowled and was generally anti-social. Terran was pleasantly blank and free from expression. And as usual, Sayuri had that half smile on her face, the type that left plenty of room for imagination. She could've been amused, she could've been angry, annoyed, frustrated, or even just a little turned on. But either way it seemed to frighten some of the passengers. As they walked down the hall they refused to make any sort of eye-contact. Sayuri liked it that way. It gave her a sense of strength. The plane landed safely and cruised down the runway. The pilot gave them the green light and everyone disembarked. Sayuri and Terran took up their carryons and Gen wrapped himself in the trenchcoat. "Mm, shall we?" -
She could feel the crown pressing down, the blood trailing down her temples, into her mouth, filling her with that metallic cold taste. Nobody realized she was screaming until she broke herself free and ran after Sam. He was about to clear the airlock when Satell caught him in a flying charge. The two hit the ground full force. He twisted around underneath her, only to see her eyes flash bright with both blood and energy before she brought her fist down into his chest. "You bastard." "......you........ ....agh..." Both of them coughed up blood at the force she expelled, and Reuben broke himself lose as well. Satell howled in rage at the Black Horizon's strength and let it surge through her system. As she did, an energy burst flashed through the entire ship and Sam cowered in fear. "I am the ship, you are my prey."

It's a gift Mitch. I don't even think about what I'm writing for more than a few seconds. ~~~~~~~~~~~ Curled up in the backseat, In a tighter knot than before, After a weekend of heart, And rejuvination. Everyone got touched, Except for maybe her, And she's so tired, So she's slumbering alone. The wind is blowing, And the miles are being eaten, As the wheels turn, Taking them so far from the heart. And now they're back, As she uncurls herself, She feels the knots in her back, Slowly come undone. -
Reuben found both Tex and Satell in the hall and obeyed his orders. As the two remaining sane people helped her down the hall, she limped ever so slightly, like her entire body had taken a severe beating. As soon as they had cleared the airlock and set foot on the Bladerunner Satell gasped for air like she had been holding her breath the entire time. Her whole body seized up and her knees buckled. Reuben and Tex muscled her onto a nearby bed and examined her. Aside from the blood on her face, they couldn't see anything. Tex touched her body and she cried out. Slightly confused, she reached over and undid her shirt. The crucifix over her heart was still there, but the rest of her body looked like it had been thrashed, flogged completely. She wasn't bleeding, but the bruises began to rise at an incredible rate. The two exchanged a look. She leaned over and gently touched Satell's face. Her eyes opened slowly and the blood stopped. ".....I'm home." "What happened to your body?" "The ship..... .....it hates me." "But we didn't se-" "Doesn't matter."

I'm feeling out of character, Last night, That clothing that I wore, And still wear now. Long and white, Slit up the left calf, Almost skin tight, Lingerie straps that fall down. I felt strangely exotic, Almost like dressing up, Only I was sleeping, And now I have what's called sex hair. The fabric is sheer, The ruffles are small, The curves underneath fill it out, And the legs beneath are visible. I feel pleased, That I've found something old, That I like to wear now, Because it makes me feel out of character. -

The flight attendant came by with several trays and took their orders. Gen was blissfully unaware, in a usual trancelike state. Terran looked up at him with beautiful eyes. "Green tea please." "Ceylon with milk, no sugar." The flight attendent nodded and moved on. Terran and Sayuri leaned back in what only could be described as huge arm chairs and relaxed. Nobody would bother them until they landed, or were served food. Dinner wasn't for another three hours and the drinks would be served with that. Sayuri took out a notepad and begain to write in smooth flowing calligraphy. Terran looked out the window and thought flightly thoughts. This would be yet another boring simple flight involving very little thought and very little skill. There would be no real entertainment besides the cheap movies re-made for airline services. ......life was tough. -
"Let's go for a walk then. Trini." Satell's voice was low and detached, almost as if she wasn't acknowleding her presence, much less her deserving of working with her. Their boss smiled inwardly and watched the door close behind them. As soon as they were gone he pulled open the desk drawer and took out a simple leaf bladed knife. He set it on the table and watched the light play off the sharp edges. He would use it tonight. Unless she followed through. In the hall, Satell Megelani shivered ever so slightly and kept on moving. Trini didn't notice, and kept up a quiet stream of delightfully simple and uncomplicated conversation. To which she responded automatically, unwilling to betray the truth behind her employment. "Yes, it's lovely this time of year." "So what are you doing here?" "Just working." "No reason?" "None whatsoever."

Satell sat on the desktop, her hair being stroked ever so slowly by her employer. He was speaking his mind and she was listening with seemingly rapt attention. If she didn't, she'd be dead. She knew that at any time he could take a handful of her hair and yank it backwards, jerk her down on the table, and plant a knife in her chest. So, she listened. He was instructing her to kill somebody. Somebody that wasn't supposed to be free. She would nod, but there was something stopping her. So instead she turned her head slowly and looked into her employer's eyes. He smiled back with great happiness. Satell would obey him to the death. "I'll go." "Good, I'm so relieved." His false sincerity irked her to no end. But the thing that made her the most upset was when he leaned over and kissed her on the lips. Slowly, errotically, as if he was seducing her.... ...which was impossible for him. She made no move to stop him, instead she responded like she should, rose her body up to press against his and kiss back.

Today I waked up, Into total darkness, I look at the clock, The red glare reflects in my eyes. I rise out of bed, Wrap myself warm, Listen to the heater, And pad down the hall. My parents are asleep, My brother is stirring, My baby is sucking her thumb, But I am awake. I pull the shades, And look out over the bay, It's beautiful today, Even though the sun hasn't come yet.
