As soon as the soundproofed doors closed on them, Satell let lose with a wild primal scream. Weather it was frustration, rage, passion, or all of the above, it shook the room and rattled Zarian more than just a little. Satell's fists were dripping blood from both superficial cuts and the nails driving into her palms from the fists she was beating into the wall. Zarian considered calming her down when she turned to face him, stopped short, and fell into his arms rather suddenly. The move caught him by surprise, but he reacted favorably, gathering her up in his arms. "It's okay...." "No. No....I should've seen it coming." "You can't be omniscient, don't blame yourself." "Brant could die." Her emotions releasing at a breakneck speed, her tears soon soaked through his shirt. Zarian stroked her hair while she sobbed softly, body shaking ever so slightly.

Zharra's laughter was like pealing bells, and she smiled at him, one eyebrow raised skeptically. "Actually....yes." "Is it that obvious?" "Hardly. I could tell from the way you're still blushing....and thought that me bitting your tittie was cheating." Bradley was about to pout when she wrapped her arms around his neck and caught him up in a soul searing kiss. He moaned softly and she massaged the back of his neck with her fingertips, then slid both her legs along the back of his, heels digging into the small of his back when they stopped. He got the hint and slowly slid her pants down. Army fatigues, they were a loose fit, and easily slipped off and onto the floor. She grinned at him and he raised an eyebrow. "Going commando?" "It's liberating." She grinned at him, the smile that lit up a room, and placed his left hand on her breast and the other on her pussy. "Good boy."

Satell was about to leap up and shout that they had forgotten Scendelon, when she remembered who her beast was. The blue roan had put on a burst of speed impossible for the hellhounds and other creatures to match. With such speed, he would easily reach home base with her D.N.A. and spare weapons on his mane. And the search party would quickly pick up the trails here nad there, aided by Scendelon's clues. She sighed and slumped back in her chair. Brant looked at her quizzically, but she brushed him off sadly. "It's nothing...." "What then?" "I forgot about Scendelon for a few seconds." "He'll be fine. They wer eafter us." "They're hungry." She sighed and looked out the window. Mealoncholy once more.

Before he adressed the group of revered souls, Alaris and Crystal entered behind him. They stood to attention, then looked behind them once more. The Elders waited patiently. Ben colored furiously, wishing that something would happen to relieve the extreme embrarassment that was slowly building on his face. And then it did happen. Like a wraith, Rena padded into the room, balancing on the pads of her heavily taloned paws, tail plumed gracefully behind her, body extuding a sense of confidence, deadly strength, and quiet maturity. One of the Elders, her old cousin watched her carefully, as she walked across the room, then stopped at Ben's side and waited as well. She licked her chops swiftly, an aftereffect of being a clone-panther, then smiled. Ben: ....Elders, I come with a petition." High Elder: State your names. Ben: ...Ben of the Sensers. Alaris: Alaris of the Armadillo clones. Crystal: ...Crystal from the city of the Birds. Rena: ...K'Rena, daughter of the Patherborn. The Elders seemed satisfied with their responses, although a few looked at Rena with slight suspiscion. Very few people could claim a relationship to the very old, very bizare Pantherborn family. And when they did, questions were likely to arise.

So the confrontation, Went quite well actually, He spoke the truth, And I responded. And we agreed, There was no cure, And I was sorry, Then he sighed. There was no, Hope for all this, Sadness and incurable attraction, For me here. Then a friend, I trust him implicitly, Mentioned an old fact, So he lied? I don't know, But I still care, Maybe too much here, And in now. But I'm angry, And just a tad, Upset by this truth, This new fact. No cure. No cure for it. No way to make it go away, So I face the music. -
You're very perceptive... I thought it was time for some heterosexual sex.... [Thanks alot Flynn and Luci, I owe you both big] ~~~~~~~~ Without moving her lips from his , Zharra delicately removed her shirt and dropped it to the ground. Bradley didn't twitch, instead he let both arms slide up her perfect figure, feeling the contours of her wide hips, firmly rippling stomach, and curving breasts. Her skin glowed in the dim track lighting, and she took the opertunity to remove his wifebeater with a swift jerk. It hit the floor and she did a wrestling move, pinning him beneath her, straddling his chest. He looked up, able to do nothing but watch as she slowly removed her heather gray top, exposing her utterly delightful chest. Skin dark, presumeably from the Singapore sun, and not just with tanlines... He raised one eyebrow, smiling. Life in the field was tough. Sometimes. "What? Do you like what you see?" "After a Triad prison, a shoot out, and an explosion.....what do you think?" "I think you've got a hardon." She purred and trailed a finger down his lips, throat, and cheset. Then she moved herself lower and ground herself into him lovingly.

Satell raised her head, Scendelon quivering beneath her legs. She had remounted and was measuring the odds. With a double sidded blade swing she could get rid of about ten more, but that'd leave her flank open... She cursed to herself, then had another thought, either her own or someone elses. "Aw what the hell?" With a wild screech she bid Scendelon to rear upwards, then he stamped down, destroying several hell hounds in the process, then he vaulted over the heads of the beasts and let his mistress wreck her hell. And she did, blood pouring from the dead, onto her arms, burning but not destroying. She wheeld Scendelon around once more and he did a perfect jump over yet another creature, landed and whipped his hind legs around, knocking it into the ground. She cracked her neck, then moved her blade to a better position and plunged downwards. "You're flank's open!" She responded to Zarian's shout accordingly, turning Scendelon to compensate, decapitating the next leaping wolf. Then she paused. Everything had gone still once more. And aside from her own heavy breathing, she could hear the voice of another. ".....it is hopeless....." "There is always hope!" To the others, she was shouting aloud to herself. None could hear the voies but her.

Zharra shrugged. Rae would kill her if she did destroy it....that and Ananda would have her head. She went to the closet with a lock, where she was storing her personals, not that she had alot. In an exo skeleton hiker's pack, in a fireproof box, she stored the disk along with at least twenty others of similar design. With her titanium ear stud she locked the box once more and replaced it in the side pocket carefully. The disks couldn't be encrypted by anyone but her....but that didn't mean she would leave them lying around. She sealed everything in her pack, dressed in the clothes she would wear tomorrow, brushed her hair, combed it out, then braided it again. Then she went to the bathrooms, brushed her teeth, washed her face, and clipped back her ever growing nails. She murmered to herself, remembering how heat made them grow like weeds. Then, she took out her clear coat polish and administered the substance that made them harden and become healthier....as if it was necessary. Then she zipped up her bag of toiletries and returned it to her pack, then clipped everything up. Come morning, she would be ready to leave in ten seconds....which is why she planned on sleeping in right now. She took four steps to the collective common room, tripped herself on a bookcase and sprawled out flat on the bed. Her face mashed into the soft cushions and she moaned very loudly, relieving tension. Bradely walked by and gave her a look. "Whaaafff?" "....I would ask you what you're doing in full army fatigues, with an exo skeleton backpack in full view....and your ass as well." "Gaghs, fucker." She rolled over, cutting off the view that he had been afforded by her very low cut pants and opened her eyes. With her free hand she gave him the finger, then grinned. "I'm going to become dead to the world...and unless you want to sleep with me, go do something else."

Zharra rolled her eyes and flicked a laser disk between her fingers slowly. While she did have files, she must admit, she didn't even read them. It wasn't in her interest. Ananda had led her to several windows of oppertunity, most of which she had exploited without a qualm. And while the Commander was vaguely aware of Ananda's activities, as a free agent, she still wasn't completely under a microscope. Perhaps that explained Zharra's skill, perhaps it explained why she was able to do so much. But either way she had some things that should not be opened. And they were all contained in encrypted files in her disk. She had no idea what was really in them. But sensitive information it was, and she wouldn't bother opening them until the time arose. And it certainly wasn't now. She could see Rae exiting, angry, tired, drained. And very bitter looking. She didn't move, but she knew that Rae's path would take her right past the chair in the corner. Ah well....let her come. Come what may, she had no lethal ideas, no hatred of the masses, and no major beef with anyone here. Maybe Rae's attitude could use some work. It made sense, but it still wasn't right. Nor was the way Liam responded. None of it made too much .....yes it did. Ananda had mentioned some things, Jaudiar many others. The two had a torrid relationship of deep dark pasts, problems, and torture. Jaudiar mentioned a mission once where torture was the name of the game.....and Liam was the victem. "....have a nice evening Rae." "......" "And if you're ever interested, you can take a look at this," She held up the disk between two fingers.

She closed her eyes, The words his other half had spoken, Ringing dully in her ears, "You know you're killing him." And her weakened response. "I do nothing to harm him intentionally. You know that." "Doesn't matter." She appealed to him mutely, And although he understood, There was no way to remedy, A sadening situation. He counseled her wisely, To tell his other half, The living half the truth, And she nodded assent. Then her ride came, And she vanished with her farewell, A faint whisper in his ears, But when she was gone he returned. While at home she heard, The same words he had spoken, Echoing again and again and again, "You're killing him." And she cried out, Surrounded by all her sorrow, The words that rocked her soul, "I don't want to!" -
Zharra had switched over to a sarong again, legs folded, arms crossed, a slight frown on her face. Rae entered the commander's breifing room, escorted quite forcefully. She sat down as the escort instructed, and she didn't bat a single eyelid. She had predicted as much. Tracking devices, radio never turned off.... Zharra rose to her feet, making no noise, save the jingle of her anklets against themselves. The commander looked behind Rae and nodded. Zharra smiled and padded silently over to the desk and sat down gracefully. "Hello Rae." "....what are you doing here?" "You shouldn't of tried to open those files." "Was there a sign I should've not ignored?" Her sarcasm didn't ruffle Zharra in the slightest. But it did make her voice turn just this side of condescending. "While I might be a field officer, I'm also one of the best computer programers in this system. The commander and Matt knew you would do something along the lines of what you did tonight. They had me rewire the programs to crash automatically." "......how did you...?" "I won't bore you with the minute details. But I will tell you this. I hate this feeling." The last words she spoke were oddly clipped and Rae tilted her head to one side. The commander smiled gaily and dismissed them both, with a stern warning about "Never trying a stunt like that a gain." Then he stood to go get Liam. Zharra and Rae left quietly, both of them headed to the dorms. Rae fumed silently at her error until Zharra reached over and crushed her radio earing between her thumb and forefinger, then flicked off her own. "Did you get the message?" "I hate this feeling. Translation?" "Take the first letter of each word and replace the rest with another set." ~~~~~~ I. Have. The. Files.

Satell was outside, watching her steed stamp the grass and graze as well, swishing his long flaxen tail back and forth. Blue roan, dark eyed, long limbed, clean, muscled, and a wild runner. She sighed to herself, then pricked her ears. Her beast did the same and the two instantly went on the defensive. She drew steel and stealthily crept back to her stallion, keeping one hand on his mane at all times incase the need for a fast getaway arose. It did. The hell hound rose from the ground, his jaws dripping foam and blood. With a primal hunting scream, she leapt onto Scendelon's back, gripping him firmly with both knees and swinging her blade upwards. Scendelon reared, and came down, his iron shod hoves cleaving the beast in two equal parts. She leapt off and stabbed down, catching the remainder of the beast on her blade. The ivory and silver glistened wetly with the saliva, and then flashed green. She scowled and wipped the blade cleen on the grass. "Poison of the undead." She bared her teeth and drew Scendelon closer. He nudged her side, urging her to mount and let him carry her to safety. Before she did, she listened to the wind once more. It was hushed, brushing against her body. Then she heard the words. "We are the dissapeared......come to us Satell...." "....Why should I?" "We bring the answers....the sadeness, the kindness..." Satell was curious, but did not have a death wish. She sheathed her weapon. "Here I am."

Ravens flying upwards, Forming from his heart, That once was, But is no more. It is not her fault, Her own soul, Once so bright and lovely, Is now tattered and scared. But with that, She will raise herself, To another grounding, And not be broken by life. No she will not, Give into that, Those lies around her, Caressing her ears with softness. Instead she will, Abandon the kindness that is false, And give herself a new life, Formed around strength. Hope. Honor. Compassion. Things perhaps forgotten, In this day and age, But not completely gone. Not with her life, Burning so brightly, In the place of the ravens, That tore apart his life. -
"And definetly dead." "....that is so disgusting." Brant shivered and wrapped himself in his arms, suddenly cold in the normally heated room. Zarian inspected the dead bodies visualy. "What the hell happened?" "My guess is either lover's suicide or murder." Zarian and Brant looked at Satell like she had lost her mind, but she pointed to the third metatarsal on the woman and the hanging skeleton. Wedding bands. "See?" She slid on her gloves and plucked the knife from the corpse delicately. Then she wrapped it and placed it in her pack. The rest of the room was completely natural, opulence in the extreme, but nothing out of the ordinary. She herded Zarian and Brant out into the sunlight once more and marked the house with a homming device. The beacon would send out three teams in a matter of hours. But in the meantime..... "Let's keep going. Hanging around her won't reveal anything the search team can't dig up."

She bent her lip and bit down on a part of it. From her lips emitted a piercing whislte and in response, the whickering of a long limbed quarter horse. He stopped just short and she grasped his mane, no trappings to help, and leapt on. She gripped with her knees, drew her blade and nudged him. Like one beast, the two sprang forwards to catch Zarian and Brant. Within moments, she had caught the both of them and surpassed. Then again, she had been training with her stallion, Scendelon, for several years. He turned underneath her and she slipped to one side to accomidate. Then he took off again in a smoothe lope, and she rolled her body over his back, doing several vaulting positions without a single falter. Brant and Zarian watched, transfixed, as their security commander went into a series of complicated handstands and backflips, all on the back of a rapidly travelling horse. Finally, she landed in the front splits, her hands pushing her body up above the beast, and landed once more. He snorted and slowed his pace to a steady walk. "Morning boys." They blinked. She wasn't even panting. Some warmup..... She smiled sweetly and dismounted with a smooth twist of her torso.

After taking one of her more contorted cat naps, curled up in the corner of a very large loveseat, she rose to her feet to find Rae. Why? ...probably because she was naturally protective of the women around her, and the technology that she had entrusted to her. If it was injured...she would scream loud enough to cause another explosion. She pulled back her matted hair and slid down the hallway to the computer terminals where Rae was working. Zharra didn't even have to look, the "tackety tackety tackety" sound was loud enough to lead a blind man into her arms. And that's exactly ......almost exactly what she did. As soon as she was within range, she slipped into subterfuge mode and circled around Rae until her knife was hovering an inch from her throat. "Trick or treat baby." "Maria y jesus y el josé!" Rae whispered, then heard the distinctive silvern laugh of Zharra and losened up. She slid into the next chair like a lynx and surveyed the work. "Some translator." "Liam whinned and bitched until I got his MS1 on order." "Good girl. Now go to bed, you look like you're about to drop dead." "No.....I'm fine." Zharra rolled her eyes at the obvious lie and stood behind her, brushing back her hair with her long fingernails, massaging the scalp underneath slowly...sensously. Rae unconciously relaxed, as she felt Zharra's smooth fingers brush against her tresses, braiding them slowly into long smooth ropes. Rae was about to protest, when she felt her eyelids slowly drift closed.

Rena rolled her eyes, then realized just what he had said. Witha wild roar that shook the cavern from center to circumfrence, she snatched up the headless human in her jaws, much like she carried cubs, and charged after him. When they reached the outskirts, they also reached the dump. She spat him out for the vulture clones to feast on and caught up with Ben in a series of cool lolloping bounds. He slowed down somewhat when he felt Rena's smooth tread catch up with him. She gave him a dazzling smile, showing her recently sharpened canines and bowed low. Rena: I wouldn't miss it for a full on Blood feast. Ben: Are you sure? It could be.. Rena: DANGEROUS! YES! Exactly what I've been longing for. He blinked and she swirled her tail around before heading towards the Capital's Edefice with slow steady motions. Her hips and back muscles ripped and curved underneath her dark hide and Ben watched her depart. Silk on ice, brushing slowly against the ground. Paws that could crush concrete into dust, delicately sliding against the hard packed dirt and stone. Rena: Come on.....it'll be fun.
-
She was showered and dressed in a record time, but before even that, she had sliced off a small lock of hair and burned it with a stick of insence. The small shrine was placed on the mantel of the drawing room, and she left it burning for a long time. Jizo statues were out of the qustion, but it was the least she could do for her comrades, Dragons and otherwise. Although none of their immediate team was gone, it was what she was obligated to do. Ananda had made her promise... And as she prayed the prayer for the dead, she watched the smoke curl upwards, forming fanciful swirls and patterns against the dusk colored walls. She knelt before the makeshift altar and pressed her hands together and her forehead to the floor. "Depart in peace." Then she stood once more and turned to go. The altar would remain, the insence in her bags would serve her well until the very end...and there was always more hair to cut off. After the shower, she dressed in yet another pair of stylistic fatigues and waited at the rendezvous spot. True to her character, she climbed up to one of the higher places in the room and reclined gracefully. Liam walked in later....cleaned up in general, and looking slightly well rested. He didn't notice her immediately, until he heard a sliky brush of fabric against wood and a slight thud as she swung her legs around and landed behind him. As he turned, he felt her arms encircle his neck and her head rest on his neck. "Zharra?" "....you looked sad." While he blushed furiously, she looked up at him, smiling the heartbreaking smile he had seen Jaudiar wear once.

*blink blink* *coughs out carbon* Are you posessed? Either way, the fishtank preserved my room.

Zharra rubbed her dusty eyelids quietly and quietly opened the First aid kit one more time. Liam held up a restraining hand, until she cocked her gun by his ear. "No fussing. If we want to have a good time, I want a live leader if you know what I mean." "B-b-but..." "No butts!" Before he could protest, Zharra had installed herself next to him and taken out the remaining hydrogen peroxide. The sting slithered down his open cuts and she slapped on the bandaids with little regard for his comfort. Matt raised one eyebrow and smiled. "I could've sworn you were nicer to the wounded children and women." "They were in a great deal more pain." She gave them all a glare that would've iced over hell. Then she finished up and passed the kit over to Bailey and Rae who mopped themselves up with great expediency. As they did their buisness, Zharra took out a few pieces of technology that had survived and waved a few laser disks in front of Matt and Liam's faces. "Say hello to Triad files. Non-corrupted Triad files."

Flowing so far, Down to the earth, To join once more, With what once was. Responding to that, Which has already come, Will always return here, In my own body. Blood trailing down, Over my slender thighs, Will never cease to, Give me agonizing pains. But it's necessary, For this mortal life, To keep pressing forwards, Into the nearest light. -
In the meantime, Satell armed the security devices, for once, set the codes and locked up for the night. She didn't exit the office by the front door, where anyone could see her. Like....the psychos. Instead, she took the tunnels to her own private rooms, which conected to the late security officers. Why? .....easy way to escape, right into her arms and into the armoury connected to her room. Perfection in the least. She stripped once more, this time to bare skin and then took a hot shower. Washing away skin grease, oils, built up over the period of two days of hard work. Once cleansed, she undid her locks, clipped them back out of the way and crawled into her bed. The doors locked at her vocal command and she smiled inwardly. Security systems checked, night guards on active duty. Rotation in four hours straight. "Ah....instant gratification."
-
As usual, Zharra heard every word for herself, and read their body language perfectly. Although she was occupided cleaning up the minor wounds that kept on flowing in her direction, she was able to multi-task with the same skill Jaudiar had employed. Just as she was finishing up a tournequit and an extra dressing of neosporin, she looked up to see Liam standing in front of her. As if nothing tragic had just happened, she smiled in a most dazzaling way, the way that made the child in her arms smile herself. "I crashed the mainframe before the explosion. You can reward me later." "We're shipping-" "Out. I heard every word." "Oh ..... right. But tell me Zharra, the point of corrupting their system was...?" "Do you even have to ask, computer genius?" She hugged the child goodbye, closed up the now empty first aid kit and stood. As she brushed herself off, Liam stood closer, smelling the Purell and disinfectants on her hands and face. "It would help." "Simple really. I didn't crash just the Triad's computers in the building, I did the whole damn operating system they use. Corrupted every Triad harddrive around the world. Questions?" Her silvery laughter was healing.
