Fascinating......... three different points of view. Although I'm not sure why you called Genre, Genre. I'm sure I'm just missing an important detail. While we're on the subject, was this for a college grade of some sort or just for fun?

Without hitting other cars by some miracle of machinery, D'Ann backed out, and shot down the hill and out onto the main freeway. Resisting the urge to gun the motor, she shot down the highway, headed for the local police office. Having been transfered over temporarily, she had only a vague idea of what to bring. So, naturally, she had brought her student ID, check card, and the emergency cash. Keeping one eye on her rear view mirror and the other on her speedometer, she continued, keeping the pace steady. Well, as steady as it could be while blasting "Did My Time" through the sound system. Several songs and albums later, she reached the outer reaches of Santa Barbara, where he was being held. As soon as she neared the parking lot, she reduced her speed and cut the music. She parked and got out, adjusting her sunglasses. Once inside, the officer greeted her courteously and asked for ID. Then he led her down the hall to another room. "He's in here." "Why? Is he in trouble?" The officer gave her a look. She relented.

While Mitch had slaved away at his writing, D'Ann on the other hand had recieved several phone calls and IMs....cried, and then gotten furious. Subsequently resulting in her slamming her books around, screaming primal death screams while listening to P.O.D., and also banging away at her keyboard. All in one day. Mitch either didn't notice, or was an expert at ignoring the rage. Finally, she calmed herself with the aid of several songs, a glass of cold water, and several nail marks in her palms. Then she opened her eyes after having them closed for several minutes, and put on her earings. She slid down the banister and walked down the hall just in time to hear the following words issue from someone, Jenna. "We all want Charles living here." "Then let me get him Jenna." D'Ann had appeared out of nowhere, and looked ready to kill. Ken blinked and Ellie looked slightly perturbed. "I need to let off some steam anyways...before I go stir crazy." Jenna held out her keys, but instead D'Ann walked past and held the keys to her Accord over her head and jangled them furiously. Then she held up a Korn CD in the other and hissed through her teeth. "Yeah, stir crazy."

.....I could strangle you, For rubbing rebound in my face, But instead of doing that, I'll just write angsty poetry. But it's not really angsty, I know why I'm angry, And you're..... ...you bastard, You're the cause. I saw you this morning with her, During lunch with one more girl, And after school playing the cute hand game, But if you saw me you sure hid it well. But that timing of yours, Just walking off as I come up, It was great, Really it was. I also appreciate how we broke up, And then you crawled back to me, Got pissed and shouted at me, Then went suicidal on my forgiving åss. And all that sweet talk, That cheap meaningless shît, Don't mean a goddamn thing, Does it now? Sure you're hurt, You don't think I am when you ignore me? I don't care how awkward it is! Common courtesy is common courtesy. If you're trying to mindfück me, I'm on to your stupid game, And I won't beg to get you back, Instead I'll treat you the way you treated me. Only I won't go off, Throw myself at somebody's feet, And get some "loving." I'm above that. -
Finished with him, silver ring planted in his chest, Zharra was once more calm and comfortable. Not only had she capitalized on her most recent kill by taking over his den, she had also discovered his collection of ancient silver jewlrey. How sad, that he would be destroyed by the things he had kept so close to his heart. Finished with her theatrical sigh, Zharra stretched out luxuriously over the thick quilted bed and yawned deeply. Rule one, never give yourself completely over to the enemy. Rule two, leave an out, preferably one that doesn't involve agonizing pain. Rule three, always clean up shop. Neh, she could burn him with holy fire later. As for now, she was content to examine the silver pieces once by one and wonder why he kept them, when most of them obviously belonged to a woman. But according to his more recent stories, his mate was long dead. And these didn't look as though they had been disturbed for many years. Lycans were like that sometimes. She shrugged and closed the fine cherrywood lid. Then, she turned around and got dressed. Best to go back to the safehouse before anything else happened. Like....a long lost mate...returning? Zharra sighed inwardly. "Oh how cliche." The distinctive howl of the hunting werewolf filled her ears. Instantly, she drew her silver blade and put the jewlrey box back where she had found it. From the footsteps, she sounded older, but no less dangerous. Zharra Chi-Rheh Dominae smiled thinly and braced herself. The female werewolf burst into the room, teeth bared, claws extended. "Where is he?!?" "Oh your mate? He had a nasty accident with a silver ring..... perhaps his wedding ring?" "....." Blinded with rage and fury, the bîtch rushed her. Zharra threw the blade with her usual deadeye accuracy, and it lodged itself deep into the lycan's chest. The silver filtered through her veins instantly and she hit the ground. Dead and medium in the blink of an eye.

So we're just friends now. I like that, I accept that, It's better that. And you've got serious issues, I understand that, I know that, It's true that. Everything I've known about you, Everything I've seen in you, Everything I've heard about you, Everything I've longed for you, Could come. Some day. If not through me, Another. -
"And with the faith of a child, you will move the mountains." Kellnine murmered the words of the verse more to herself than to anyone else. Ratu smiled and stretched outwards, flexing his wings. Kellnine: More like God's humor. She smiled at him and headed upwards, the two gaining altitude with astonishing speed. Before he could take another breath, not that he needed one anymore, they had cleared the final bits of atmosphere and made it into the void of space. Cold and dark. The only light coming from their combined wings. Ratu was smiling, unafraid of the darkness. Why should he fear? He was with an angel of the best sort. Her very name was healing to him. Kellnine of Chi-Rho was holding her form steady, not flapping uselessly in the vaccuum of space. He followed her example and simply watched the Earth turning below them. Going from dark to lighter, to shadow again. Kellnine drifted slowly over to him and put a hand on his shoulder. Then she pointed with the other hand. As the earth tilted again, he saw the lights grow dim, and a darker shadow envelop another part of the world. She shook her head sadly and smiled half heartedly. Ratu grasped her arm and gave her a meaningful look. "Be strong." ".....yes."

Having found...her own....um...dorm, she obtained her personals through various serriptitious movements, she made her way down to get her tracker. Without breaking anything, she succeeded on all counts and secured her weapons, aside from her gun. And it hurt....but hey, the old adage beat into her head by Ananda. "No pain no gain." Then she caught up to Liam and ruffled his hair. Of course, he dodged the movement and went for a sling-you-over-the-shoulder move. In a classical Juadiar move, she dropped into the complete side splits and dragged his arm with her. Liam laughed and collapsed into a heap. Bradley looked composed, if a little surprised at her insanity. Liam: You're just like her. Zharra: Nonsense. I'm only her cousin. Liam: You .....I dunno. Zharra: You'll see. And so will you, dear Bradley. Bradley: Dear? Liam: Like I said... Zharra grinned, eyes snapping and sparking playfully. She had dressed in another sarong and classical dress, twisting her hair back in the native style. The only thing different about her was the eyecolor.... yellow. But oh well. Liam grinned back and surveyed her style of dress. Liam: Now getting back to the blending part. Zharra: The cheap prostitute look.

Kellnine: I've been feeling it in my spirit....for quite some time now. Ratu: And that means...? Kellnilne: ...We go. She gathered him up in her arms and raised her wings. Before he could take another breath, she had completely enveloped him in the scent of lavender, starlight, and soft flannel. It was warm, and all he could feel was her heartbeat pulsing against his. Back in the physical world, Kellnine shot upwards, moving on pure energy. Just before the hordes closed in, she rocketed into the stratasphere and kept Ratu in her arms. Where it was warm and safe. And possible to breathe. Ratu sighed and kept his eyes closed. It was a little too weightless for his liking. Kellnine rotated her body around and examined the space below. Dark shadows swirling...time to cut lose. She turned and released her arms around his body, keeping her hand over his mouth.

Rena bared her fangs and massaged the corners of her eyes....tired, but not really. Just the stress of the past weeks flicking into her eyes. Her brow furrowed and she sighed quietly. Rena: We need to get the children out. Ben: And put them where? Rena: They can't stay in the caves....I've seen some of them start to degenerate. Ferret and Bear are fine...but they're older. The cheetah clones and the greyhounds need to stretch. We can't do that in the tunnels and caves....not the way they need to. Ben: So of course, we're bound to do as we must. Crystal: Our fledglings are afraid of being shot down. Rena: AGH! In frustration, she pounded both her fists against the wall, and watched a slight crumbling begin. Her eyes widened, and she took a step back. Alaris: ...what did you just....? Rena: ...um.

The sidhe girl closed her eyes, letting the images dance over her face several times. Then she smiled and looked down at Alice. The ancient gazed back, and looked into the distance, past the sidhe's eyes and into the future. The others looked rather uncomfortable. Kiara looked unperturbed, as could be expected. But Damien and Kris looked like they wanted to die. Michael was unsettled, and Danielle was extremely calm. It had been done before. At least to her. Zharra inhaled slowly once more, then exhaled. She opened her gauntlet and drew out a simple stick of amber insence. With a flick of her knife against the stone floor, she light it and blew slowly. Then she set it into a crack on the floor and invoked a simple name. Instantly, the smoke curled up and she spread her fingers out. Zharra: My story, I tell to you now. Why I am who I am. As she spoke, she illustrated with fanciful swirls and changing patterns. "My family is not what should be..... We are a union of japanese tengus." Here she waved one finger and drew the shape of a humanoid with a bird's head and wings. Then she changed it again and showed a beautiful European girl with waving hair. "And hidden folk. The sidhe of Europe." Then she raised her hands and showed two huge wings curling down over the two and forming a nest of eggs. From that grew four humanoid girls. Each with feathers under their eyes and hair. Then she smiled and snapped her fingers. The sweet smell and curlling smoke faded away. All that was left was a half hearted smell and a wistful smile. Alice stared for awhile, and then saw it. Her eyelashes were lightly twisting feathers, and her hair showing the exact same...just far thicker. Zharra: And that is me.

Going around in circles, You and me, Endlessly we cycle this path, Path we call life. It's just spiralling out of, Control? No, Not control. You don't have hope, And here I thought I could give you hope, So I stayed with you for that, But it didn't work, And you slipped away slowly. We denied it, But it happened anyways, And now it's all over, "It's now or never." "It can never be." "Goodbye, I'm sorry." And with those words, You left. You forgave me, And I wanted to forgive you, But you don't want it, So I stay here. And I will forget you, And not wonder, And pray for you, That much I promised. I'll be here tonight. And I won't think about where you will be. Instead I'll look forwards. And keep my vision clear. Stare into the horizon to stop the tears from coming, And not replay this- -
Wellm, somebody's gotta be the asian chick. ~~~~~~~~~ Name: Luyii Parrlen-Chou Age: 17 Gender: Female Ranger: Yellow Zord: Griffin/Sabre toothed Tiger Weapon: Daggars Bio: Born to a intelligent W.A.S.P. [white anglo saxon protestant] father and a fiery combative Chinese mother, Luyii has what most would call a "complex." She's been trained to use all sorts of knives, partially kitchen knives thanks to her mother's cooking skills, and likes to use all of them. That, and severe ballet training to increase flexibility, versatility, and muscle discipline. But she has a strict honor code, and will never attack a weaker opponent. Currently working on her college applications and wondering just how far she'll be able to get in life. Personality: As stated above.

Well, maybe you missed an earlier memo, but... oh for the love of Chi-Rho. I give up. Incase you could just take the yardstick out of your behind and go with the flow....we would all be happy. It's not impossible to take hinges off a door, and in the case of dorms in Singapore, if you've ever been there, it's very possible. On the other hand, you could also relax for once and acknowledge that there are agents superior to you.
-
One eye opened slowly, and she hissed to herself. Sloppy really. At least they hadn't opened both her veins. Then again....it could've been a great deal worse. Her lip was bruised, but by her internal clock, she had time to sleep. Silently, she rose to her feet and flicked off everything important. Instantly, her eyes adjusted and began to give off a slight amount of light. Whoever had designed the bathroom was clearly not big on intelligence. From the clip in her hair, she selected her favorite tool....and quietly removed both hinges, top and bottom. The tool was replaced, and then, stark naked, she lifted the door bodily, set it down to one side, and entered the doorm. Katarina was "asleep" and she was in no mood to converse about her night's sleep on cold tile....despite how warm Singapore was. Without another thought, she slamed her fingers into three different pressure points, and watched them take effect. Annoying really. Ah well, paralysis could be worse. No KGB agent would really.....get away with....no matter how trite that sounded....knocking her out and locking her in a bathroom. Of course, now that she was paralyzed....she could just undo the lock and handcuff her again. But that wasn't exactly effective either.... "Tatara, golaenai, bis-emouthe shau."

Encircling; Iona I bind unto myself today The power of God, To hold and keep, His eye to watch, His might to stay, His ear to hearken, To my call. I bind unto myself today, The power of God, To hold and lead, His eye to watch, His might to stay, His ear to hearken to my need. The wisdom of God to teach, His hand to guide, His shield to ward, The word of God to give me speech, His heavenly host to be my guide. The mighty three, My protection be, Encircling, You are my King. -
She cracked open an algae tablet and shoved it down into the feeder crack. The tetras instantly made a mad dash for the edibles and went into a minor frenzy. In the meantime, she clicked on their daytime light and began sorting through several older papers. College in correspondence was starting to feel better and better. That, and G.E. classes were a breeze. She blinked several times, clearing up her vision, rubbing her eyelids with their newly implanted contacts. Then, without another word, she padded into the closet and got dressed. Shorter refitted denim dress, fom fitting body pants, and the inevitable flip flops. In her room, she was a godess. "Good morning D'Ann." Mitch looked well rested....but then again, neither of them had touched alcohol, just virgin daqueris. She gave him a lopsided grin and brushed the fishy smell off her fingers. "Lo Mitch. What's the damage?" "I'm quite fine....you know we don't drink. Can't say the same for the others though. And, we're not huge party animals either...." "I guess now would be the part where we walk downstairs happily and make breakfast?" "Depends. Do you eat rice for breakfast?" She giggled at his decidedly innocent comment turned racist. Of course, it made very little difference to him, if she made rice, he'd most likely eat it. Rice was good. She smiled at him and walked downstairs, moving like a hawaiian dancer....never changing her leg and hip movement despite how much the staris turned. Bu time the two had reached the bottom, the kitchen was emptying out. D'Ann smiled and looked into the cupboard for the 50 lb. bag of rice she had stashed there, along with her moderate sized rice cooker. He blinked. Insane. He was half expecting her to bust out with some chopsticks and a rice paddle. And she did. Before he could open his mouth, she had poured out 3 cups of rice, measured the lot, washed it throughly, drained it, then whipped out the cord, plugged it in, and sat down to wait. "And that, my dear Mitch, is what I call "rice blitzing.""

In the middle of the sweet and cushy moment, ....absolutely nothing out of the ordinary happened. The fact that both girls were on an emotional high probably excused the fact that Zharra had been in the room since the first shot was fired. Liam and Rae were still chatting. Bailey and Bradley were shamelessly flirting, and she was feeling slightly out of place. Instead of getting "all up in that," she went downstairs, and heard a gun fired. Probably not to kill Thankfully...only one. She was standing by the doorjamb when she saw Katarina embrace another girl, who looked suspiciously like her. Just shorter. Her eyes automatically rolled, and she padded in silentley, moving like a local in her bare feet. As they embraced, she quietly slid off her thigh holster, sarong, and top, then opened her backpack and took out her clothes. Butt naked, she walked across the communal bedroom to the showers, not even looking in their direction. It wouldn't belong now..... "So romantic....I may throw up." Over the loud burst of ice cold water from the showerheads, neither of them heard the spoken words. They did, however, hear the sound of the shower. Malania turned her head and saw an open backpack and discarded clothes. Katarina's eyes widened. Katarina: It is Zharra. Malania: Agent? Katarina: ......she's not quite like ze others. Somezing is different about her. Malania: .....I like the sarong. In the showers, with her ear rotated to catch everything, she smiled.

"You mean like the ones that'll invade your room when they find your stashes of cookies?" D'Ann grinned and showed her glow-in-the-dark retainers, which were both in perfect condition, like the rest of her body. "Leave my cookies out of this!" "You have a stash of cookies in your room?!?" His roomate looked indignant, D'Ann looked superior. Mitch rolled his eyes. "If you ever need a DJ to make a little atmosphere happen...." Sara cleared her throat and looked equally superior. "I seriously doubt one CD in a stereo system is that hard....." "So much for variety." "Getting back to the subject of a mascot," Jenna looked slightly annoyed at the bunny trail they had started hopping on.
-
Her eyes cooled somewaht and she sheathed her knife, standing to attention as their senior officer walked in. She spoke with swiftness and delicate diplomacy quite unlike some of the others in the room. Zharra: Actually I had a minor scuffle with a vending machine sir. But it's quite splendid now sir. Liam: Yes, it was clogged sir, so she stuck her knife in the coin part sir. Katarina: And vhen that didn't vark, she drop kicked it. Sir. Zharra: And it was uphill from there sir. Bailey: As you can see everything here is under control sir. She raised a can of Sprite and smiled sweetly, while containing a fit of slightly supressed giggles. Their senior officer looked slightly skeptical, but let his gaze sift over both her legs and Bailey's charming jeans and blouse....and the gun she was cleaning. He cleared his throat and sat down, the others falling to in order. In typical cliche, his hands were folded on the desk, his ateche case on the conference table. Zharra crossed her legs and slipped the side of her sarong over again. Superior: Well, getting back to buisness. I have your files here. Zharra: And the general idea, judging by the e-mail from Ananda, we're investigating child extortion, kidnaping, and prostitution. Superior: More or less. Zharra: .....mmm, sounds delightful. Liam: Same ol' same ol'. Zharra: I can't believe we're still having this conversation. He gave her a withering glance, while Rae helped herself to the files from his case, and handed them out to the perspective people. Their superior blinked, and let them get to work.

I get behind da wheel, We takin' a drive down Highway 880, And it's all good really, Just a little freaky on them turns. Highway 24 was coo', I like that interchange, Tha's a nice interchange, But not those blinkin' red lights. So wha' dat blue light mean? Brights....wha' dose? He flashin' me boy, You feel? I ain't even trippin', It hi'd fault nah mine! What officer? Seriously, it ain't even me here. Dayum man, S' not like I do dat fo' a livin', Okay so it is my fault and I have a permit, And it's so easy to flip back and forth through these accents. Good thing that was just a scenario, That didn't happen today, But just as well coulda, And my dad would've died. His sweet daughter can speak it, She can do the flow, You know? God that's lame. -

Alice snuggled closer into the sidhe girl's hair. Not only did it smell of fresh almonds and moonlight, it was very soothing. From her body, she sensed years of experience and tradition. Cool and calming. Zharra tightened her arms around her and inhaled through her nose, then out her mouth. Zharra: I see. Damien: How the hell..? Zharra: Years ago....another woman I know did the same. Her parents were demons of the worst sort. Shortly after, she fell on her knife. Danielle: But Alice did not. Zharra: The woman was fully matured. And a paradox. Infused with angel blood. What about Alice?

D'Ann blinked owlishly, then smiled sweetly at Jenna and the rest of the group. "I can make rice, tshe fan [rice poridge], dumplings, fried dumplings, steamed dumplings, chinese stir fry, tofu, barbeque pork, buns, dan ta [custard tarts], and baked shirmp. Questions?" Quite a few people threw themselves at her feet. "I am your slave!" "That's perfect!" Jenna was smiling, but then again, she might have known..... "Anything else?" "I make killer waffles. And all sorts of breakfasts." "I can make pop tarts." The look D'Ann gave James would've iced over Death Valley.

"Why shouldn't we? I'm sure it will be invigorating." A cool sophisticated voice, with a smooth American accent, filtered through the room. Katarina, Liam, and Rae looked up into the corner it came from. Only one of them was confused, the other two were partially elated. Lying horizontal aross the tall storage cabinet, dressed in a long goldenrod printed sarong and a matching crop top, all lined with silver jewelry, with a long mane of thick brown hair, and unmistakeable yellow silver eyes, was Zharra Dominae, cousin of Jaudiar and Ananda. She smiled sweetly and leapt down to their level, moving with an unalloyed grace. She landed in a crouch, then straightened like she had no spine. The sarong flicked out as she moved, and Rae mentally calculated how she could get one of her own. .....civillian attire. Good move. Of course, from the high slit on her left thigh, she could see a knife of sorts. The girl steped forwards and offered her hand to Liam, who took it uncertainly. She shook with him, and then with Rae. Zharra: Hello Liam. Rae. It's been awhile. Liam: ...I don't even remember you. Rae: I saw her at the party of Pizzaro's....but I thought she was Jaudiar in another outfit...and without a few extra years. Zharra: Scope, assassin's work, agent training....you know..... Liam: Where's Jaudiar now? Zharra: Shot down in Congo while eviscerating a target. She died well. Her expression remained calm and calculated, despite the urge to break someone's neck at the mention of her dear father-sister. Instead, she turned her silver eyes to focus on Katarina, a half smile on her lips, maintaining professional courtesy. Zharra: Katarina. Welcome to Singapore. I'm sure we'll have fun. Katarina: ...I'm sure ve vill. Instead of disguising a laugh into a snort, like Liam was struggling to, she sat down in the nearest briefing chair and took out her knife.
