1. I tell ya, James has to be one of the most agumentative people at theOtaku. And I'm not sayin' that's a bad thing, either. It's quite a skill to be able to debate as James does. Cloricus, words to live by: Don't try to win a debate against James. Trust me, it ain't gonna happen.:)
2. Hey, being a webmaster is cool; you just gotta say it different: "Hi, I'm Adam, I own and run a highly successful web site, and still have time for a real job." You do have a real job, right? j/k, please don't kill me...
3. Well, if you wanna get technical, then we're all saying we're otakus everytime we post on these otakuBoards. I mean, someone could come looking at this board, see it labeled as otaku, and would make a fair assumption that we all consider ourselves that title. I say this board is practicing false advertisement. But that's just if you wanna get technical.:)
4. I thought the strips with the transmogrifying (sp!) box were some of the best. Yes, Calvin and Hobbes kept me occupied through the entire 8th grade. Ah, good times...
5. I have a straaaaaaaaaaaaange feeling I only failed the tests I couldn't exempt. Ah, look at that! I couldn't exempt any! :nervous:
6. Embarrassing moments of mine are when my friends prove me stupid. It happens quite often.
7.
Originally posted by NOFX_21212 IT'S MY STYLE...
Not to get on anyone's case, or to get off topic, but it was my style too. I know where you're comin' from, but the caps just gots to go...
8. God, I wish I had something better to say than "I'm so sorry," but I don't. I feel so insensitive. But coming from me, anything more sensitive would sound sarcastic. I'm sad over his death. That's all I can say.
9. Well, lucky for me I'm about to hit Lv. 8, and I am still tryin to find my way there. I think it's in the corner of Subrosia, and the portal from the Temple Remains is a clue. So is that guy throwin' stuff in the lava... Don't tell me; I wanna find this one out on my own...
10. I made an attempt to learn to play the game today... I think I won... a few times... maybe. So you put down a land card, then you put down a creature, then you wait, then if it meets the requirements you attack... Right so far?
11. Exams aren't that hard; they're just boring. I see now why they don't have them all in one day: We'd all scream from boredom...
12. I've never had an online relationship; I think they're kind of silly...
13. Well, I think it's a good, if not great idea. We've pretty much discovered all there is to know about Earth. The only true option left is space. I mean, think about it. People are talking about colonizing Mars, and the moon. That's just an awesome idea. Think about what they're actually saying: Putting people on other planets. Planets! Entire places like Earth, as big as Earth. I sure hope it's a success. And this whole ISS Freedom thing will only bring us closer to that goal. I think both America, Russia, and all the other involved countries should continue to give their all to the unifying cause. Okay, I'm done now.
14. Wow, online love wars... How interesting...
15.
Originally posted by MysticDarkElf theirs a 20% chance he'll make it.. and well its not to good but I love him to much to give up with out a fight
Think of it this way: 20% is a lot better than 10%. Or 5%. You gotta keep your chin up, alright?
16. There's no serious injury I can think of that I had... But my sister had a dislocated shoulder once, and busted her chin on a jungle gym a long, long time ago. I had a piece of wood lodged all the way down to the base of my nail once. It hurt so much, you have no idea. *shudders* Man, I'm getting chills just remembering it...
17. I know I already put this one up in another, much older thread, but anyway: If getting in trouble for something you didn't do is wrong, then why do I get in trouble for not doing my homework?
18. Yeah, I agree with DarkOrderKnight. If you really care about him, you'll do what's best. It'll hurt like hell, but it's better if he's already on his way...
19. What happened to me today after school is scary. I'm still shocked, and so thankful for the two of my friends. School ended for us today. We all got out early, due to exams. Me and my friends, who we shall call Bob1 and Bob2, were walked to the bus stop. With it being the last day of school and all, my friends suggested we go someplace, or do something, just so that we wouldn't have to go home. However, I was completely content with going home at that time. Bob1 kept trying to get me to go with them. I refused, but they didn't let up. They eventually won me over, right when the 27 bus I was going to take pulled up. This was a little before 10:30 A.M. We walk around, yeah, yaddayaddayadda, and eventually we split up. I go home on another 27 bus. I get home, and what does my mom tell me: the 27 southbound got hit by a car about ten blocks past my bus stop at about 10:40. :wow: I stood there, stunned. If it weren't for Bob1 and Bob2, I would've been on that bus. Who knows what could've happened to me if I'd refused to go with them? Wow. Thank God for friends. So the next time you talk to your friends, remember that they could unintentionally save your life. And thank them for being there. --Mike
20. :wow: I just... It's so... And look at... But you can't... How... :wow: Wow. I believe the answer to the second one is 42. Yeah, I'm gonna go now.
21. Well, if he does die from poison, and if you know who did it, I think you can sue them and get them thrown in jail. What a bunch of losers. Poisoning dogs, killing others, man, they're real cowards.
22. Who knows, Trans, he might even have a better chance that way... ;)
23. Heh. I forgot I gave 'em to ya... Make any good decks with them?
24. Speaking of which, what are these secrets? And do you really need both games to get them? That would suck, at least for me.

Why Zelda?
Originally posted by starlight well they called link "different" in oot cuz he had no fairy and video game desingers never make the "hero" in the game the same as the rest so they made him unique to the rest of the kokiri. What i cant understand is why name him link? Wait a second how and when did zelda die?
I don't know much about the Legend of Zelda history, but wasn't the first game on NES subtitled Link to the Past? And weren't you supposed to be the link? I don't know if that's true; I never played that game. But it's what my limited knowledge on the matter came up with.
