1) No 2) It's far too dull. They're either in a gym battle, or the show goes like this: They meet a new Pokémon, the new Pokémon either has a trainer or not, Team Rocket tries to steal the new Pokémon, they stop them, they "blast off again", every show, it's far too predictable. I stopped watching that show a good year ago...

Gaming a hidden picture of pikachu in the JLC intro

I think he means "Johto League Champions" in regards to the show... Hmm, don't watch the show anymore, but I should try that... Unless it was just a trick of the light positioning and where you were... who knows? -
My friends would tell you that not only am I passionate about band but also obsessed with it. I play constantly in class. But I think that's because I never practice at home. So no, band is not my passion.  Could it be that I have no passion?!?!?!?!? I can't think of anything that I love so much, something I put so much of my time into, not even video games... *sigh* sulks off into corner of room and thinks about something to be passionate about...

Tell you what. I give the split a year, if not even that long. But a disapointing year it will be; no Kane or Taker or the NwO to watch, because I have no cable. What I don't understand is WHY they would do this in the first place. It can only hurt their business. And if you have more wrestlers than before you don't split all of them into two shows; that would actually make things more crowded. I say pro-wrestling is going downhill, it has been going downhill, and bringing Hogan back, Hogan of all people, is proof of this descent.

It's possible that I just have different goals in the Pokémon games...

Wow, my weakest Pokémon in G/S are, like, level 15's or so. I can't remember; I'm still trying to create a good lineup. Sad, yes...
-
Er? I heard you got a Mew card, you know, that one with 50HP and the Deevolution Beam attack, not a Meowth. I heard of a gold-bordered Meowth in Betty Crocker boxes, but not in the game box...
-
Yeah, one of the crappy things about the games is that youi aren't given much choice on doing anything. They make you talk with that guy if you wanna move on. They don't even let you see what would happen if you avoided him, or if you didn't retrieve the Farfetch'd in Ilex Forest, or if you try to skip past the entire Radio Tower thingy...

This one's very easy. It's exactly like a variation I've heard of: I have a total of 55 cents in my pocket, in two coins. One of the coins is not a nickel. What are the two coins I have? It's pretty easy; once you figure it out you go like "Oh yeeeaahhh... Duh."

Wow. This reminds me of a book so disturbing that I shall not name it, for fear of kids getting their hands on it. This psychopathic murdurer who goes about killing people in such gruesome ways, and the author is much too detailed. In the end he is still very much free and at large... A very sickening book...

Hey, you guys are referring to astronomy and astrology as if they're the same thing. Astronomy is just the study of the stars, heavenly bodies, etc. etc. etc. Astrology is such a different thing though. Astrology is some made-up "science" that people supposedly use to tell you things about yourself and your future. Like when people say stuff like "Venus rising in Capricorn" or something like that. As for my opinion on the initial question, I don't care much for astronomy. My sister is really into it, she wants to work at NASA, but I'm not too interested in it at all.

I don't know if this is the right place to post this question. I think it is... Anyway, I read somewhere that the DKC game for GameBoyColor has a lost world of some sort. I checked gamefaqs but there isn't a lot of material on DKC for GameBoyColor. Does anyone think they can help me out?:toothy:

Well, personally I think the Unowns themselves suck. I mean, if you're gonna make 26 versions of a Pokémon at least give it more than one move...
-
I kind of nicknamed the Pokémon in my lineup; I just brought the letters of their names down to lower-case. It's much easier on the eyes that way, plus it looks more natural to see your character shout "Go, Vaporeon!" as opposed to "Go, VAPOREON!"
-
Yeah, and in G/S there is no big secret. You enter the 4 rooms with sliding puzzles, solve the puzzles, release all the Unowns, catch a few, get the Unown Pokédex upgrade from the scientist, and waste 26 Pokéballs on 26 varieties of a very weak Pokémon.
Originally posted by Paul no not really but it helps when after you caught a pokemon that fills up your box, he rings a tells you, that you have to change it to catch more pokemon. If you have no room then make room.
Yeah, it's like in R/B/Y if a Gym Leader can't give you a TM because you have no room. Just make room and come back later.

Hold on, I'm confused. Are you guys talking about the TCG, or the GameBoy game, or something that's way beyond my knowledge?
Originally posted by Paul It is in mr. Mimes move list he learns it quite early around l:10 i think:excited:
Really? Huh. Didn't know that... I gotta try that SS. But be a little bit more detailed, I don't quite get it. I hope your game isn't messed up, a 51st TM would rule...
Originally posted by Squashed Snail Well that means you don't have very much room to catch more than one pokemon..... the pretty much sucks, as when I'm bored I just go around catching more of each pokemon. What will I do when I have no more boxes?!
I'd say release the weakest ones, then catch more. Just don't go bankrupt buying Pokéballs. ;)
Originally posted by Paul it doesn't matter what Pokemon you chose to battle with they are your Pokemon to use. If it was regarded as cheating to use tLegands, then why did they put them in the game in the first Place? surely they would have done with what they done with mew, make it so that you win them. I don't consider this way of battling cheating, i never have and never will. Why do People think they are cheating when used? If your so clever answer me that!
C'mon, Paul, what you're saying doesn't work out. Think time-wise. The creators didn't know that people would regard them as too powerful to use. They created them, then the players rejected them, so to speak. To further another point, take this example into consideration: You're going into a linked battle against one of your friends whp has been playing as long as you. You've put your sweat and hard work making a successful team, of a variety of different strengths. Then your friend comes with a team of six Lv. 100 Mewtwos, or something else like that. He pounds you. He thrashes you. He whips your team's butts. Wouldn't you consider that cheating on his part? I mean, he takes all the strongest Pokémon which hardly need to be raised at all, when you've put all this work into your team, of whom you've raised from low, low levels. Wouldn't you lose some sort of respect for your friend? I'm sorry to say, but I would. SS, I don't agree when you say that many teams can go without a Legendary. I say that all teams can go without a Legendary. I'm not yet convinced that Legendaries are worth any experienced trainer's time... :lecture: :lecture: :lecture: Oh, don't take any of my rants personally, by the way... ;)

Yeah, in R/B/Y Lance is the last guy in the Elite Four before you face your rival. In G/S, he asks for your help in the Lake of Rage thing because he sees your mutual concern for what's going on. Then he kinda becomes your friend. By the way, beating him is easy if you have a strong ice Pokémon. But you probably already knew that.
