I?d have to say that most candy just doesn?t satisfy me anymore except chocolate stuff. Chocolate will never let me down! So most of the time I don?t eat any because it?s nothing exciting; for example I used to love a Snicker?s bar, but now I just don?t have any craving for them anymore. Reese?s Pieces; most people that I know love them and so do I! The one candy that I find to be just so good and really my favorite are these lollipops called Big Slice Pops. They have so much delicious flavor they put Jolly Ranchers to shame. They even come in two rather uncommon flavors: Peach (my favorite), and Pineapple. Also, I like how they?re shaped like water melon slices unlike other lollipops save for this one Mexican pop which I forget the name of. They really aren?t the ?mainstream? kind of candy in the sense that not many people know of them.
To be honest I'm not the biggest fan of candy. I mean most of it is really way to sweet for me. Normally if I eat too much of a candy I get very very sick, but there are a few exceptions. There is this candy that has just recently came out (within the last year or two) around my area called Ferrero Rochers and they are probably the best things since...peanut butter. They are absolutely deliciuose, I got a pack of 40 for Easter and they were all gone before the lunch. I could eat these things all day long! Has anyone ever had them before? Oh man I love them.
How can you be okay after eating 40 pieces of candy in one sitting?! No wonder you said you get very, very sick. I usually can't even eat much more than a handful of candy at a time depending on what it is and the size.

I don't know too many bands, let alone ones I specifically like. But I do like The Seatbelts, The Thrill, m-flo, ZONE, Orange Range and Soulhead. The Seatbelts I know mainly from Cowboy Bebop and I like the sound of their music because it's just so much fun to hear. The Thrill I know of solely from watching Blue Submarine No.6 and while liked their kind of jazz I'm not sure others would, but I love their song Mina Soko Ni Nemure which I know by heart! M-Flo I'm still a bit new to, but they seem a very good group of talented people. They sound as if they really have fun making their music. And I like that I can kind of sense that. Now ZONE to me is in a category all their own because their music seems quite distinct from other stuff I've heard. They have so much energy in their songs and voices, but they also have those serious more emotional songs and even then their energy shines through. And I'm certain that they have fun with what they do. Also, it's very neat that they actually are a real band and play instruments and everything. Another thing that I find awesome is how three of their members and an ex-member really went to school together and something I like about hem is how they pretty much have their own style and they don't bleach their hair! Or as of the last time I checked anyway. The guys of Orange Range just seem rather funny and silly sometimes (in their performances). And to me they also appear to have an interestingly distinct sound of their own. And I don't just mean by their music, but their voices too. There's just something about them that just sounds different. I think it might have a lot to do with the fact that their from Okinawa and they may have a sort of "accent"; which is fine with me because they sound rather awesome. Soulhead is a duo one could try out, but it seems a majority of their music is R&B or hip-hop based with rap in the mix along with lyrical vocals. This is cool with me because I love R&B and hip-hop, but for some reason most J-whichever fans tend not to. However I must say they really do have some nice voices; one of them in particular has such a beautiful one. And I like that they throw a lot more English into their songs along with the Japanese lyrics so you can hear how their voices sound in both languages! Not too many artists do this, I think. For the solo music artists I really like BoA because really the girl can sing and she doesn't seem to rely on that heavy nasal sound that I can't stand although I don't like that sound at all period. Hope at least one of those you could try and see if you like and even if you've heard them then maybe you can get more of their stuff if you like them or give them another try if you didn't like them at first.

Ah, so this is really some moving stuff, huh? That sounds alright to me; I like being overflowed with emotion! Maybe I'll look out for this Hotelier to see if AZN shows it again. do you know whether or not these movies/shows can be found at a movie rental store like Blockbuster or something?

My favorite type of music is the kind where you're listening to it and just absolutely loving it because it's simply the way it sounds that makes it so great to hear! I'm seriously a sucker for a good beat. I simply can't resist. It can have the worst profanity and even whichever explicit lyrics; if it's got a really good beat I'm willing to excuse things that I'm usually so very against. But if a certain song has very bad lyrics that I mean are just completely meaningless then not even it's beat can make up for it. Then there's the stuff that's sang by people with very beautiful voices to listen to. Whether the voice it very high pitched or low pitched and whatever range it happens to be, if the person can truly sing then the music is more than worth listening to. A wonderful melody doesn't hurt either and this is really where this type of music is defined. Sometimes when I 'm listening to a song I think, Quiet, so I can hear what I really want to hear, which certainly isn?t you! I also love very good lyrics. I don't care if they rhyme or not, but more of how they sound and what they're trying to say. And I love when they make sense. ^^ I mean some songs have the most senseless lyrics and the worst diction it?s just kind of awful. Some songs are so wonderfully written that they themselves give the song so much feeling. What also attracts me to this type of music is solely the very instruments being played. While most of them sound good to me there are certain ones that I absolutely love the sound of; like the saxophone, the bass, the bass guitar, the celesta, the piano, many of the percussion instruments and a ton of others! The type of music that is my favorite is simply the stuff that I like and that sounds good to me; I really don?t have a preference for any specific types of music. I just know what it is I love (and dislike). ^_^

I've not seen any Korean dramas, but maybe if you mentioned what you like about them then I'd be interested in them. Also, where can they be found? If they're on TV then I'd guess maybe the International Channel probably airs them. I-C is big on the Asian dramas/movies and since it's now AZN Television it would also make a lot of sense. I hope these are maybe subtitled dramas you're speaking of because I know not a word of Korean. :animeswea Although I still would be interrested in watching.

Aside from the many cartoons and there?s a long list for that, I also probably wound up watching certain shows because my parents watched them. But even so the ones that I actually watched I liked were: The Cosby Show - I watched with extreme delight as I thought Rudy was the coolest! Rosanne - for some reason I can't remember right now, but I know that I liked it to some extent. Oh, I remember now, it seemed different from most other family type sitcom shows. Doogie Howser ? I really loved this show and I don?t remember exactly why, but I have fond memories of it. Murder, She Wrote ? I loved the idea of a sort of lady Sherlock and the fact that she was old made it more interesting. My favorite episode dealt with a murder at some theatre showing of ?Phantom of the Opera?. Columbo ? This was my dad?s favorite and I soon started liking it too. I liked Power Rangers, but stopped watching it when I was 8 because it seemed to have lost what made it a cool show to me. I could tell back then that VR Troopers was one of those rip off type shows, but I still kind of liked it. And of course there?s all that stuff from Nickelodeon and just about everything on CN back then. Hooray for childhood TV memories! ^_^
Ooh ooh pick me pick me! *waves hand* I loved Jem and the Holograms. Best show ever! Okay maybe not ever because the problems were solved in a few minutes, but it was a good show. I think my favorite were the Misfits. I liked the episode where they got stuck in the kennel at Pizzazz's house. Ha
I've heard a lot about how great a show this seemed to kids back then, but I never got to see it because I either wasn't alive yet or I was just learning to crawl.

While maybe not as exciting, I think it's still kind of neat that I 'graced' the wolrd with my presence on Veteran's Day (Armistice Day). I was actually due November 13th, which I thought would have been pretty awesome because then my birthday would wind up on a Friday at some point. Then I might have gone around on such a day mentioning it was my B-day and see how people react as some make such a big deal about Friday the 13th. 13 is also my favorite number, partly because some people think it's so unlucky. - Edit I'm with you on the whole horoscopes thing; except it's because I don't believe in that stuff and don't care much about it either. But I don't mind saying I'm a Scorpio if it amuses someone.

I think about this every once in a while and to me there?s simply one thing to keep in mind; nothing too common. I see nothing wrong with common names except the fact that they are common (no offense to anyone). My name is Krystle and in school there have always been other Crystals. I remember everyone would sometimes have to distinguish you only by your last name. I?m even the third Crystal in my family; when all three of us are together I?m known as Crystal #3. Well, that?s actually kind of funny! ^_^ I?ve lost track of how many Michelle?s I?ve been friends with; my best friend in the third grade?s name was Michelle and I currently have another Michelle for a friend. I actually like that name, but this is my point. If I do have children my mind is made that they won?t have common names. No, they won?t be bizarre, weirdo names; just uncommon or unique. My family has a few names I like that aren?t too common: Marctavius, Zaiya, Deidrianna (one of my favorite cousin?s), and Kendreille. A very unique name I?ve come across is Quiounesse (Kee-oh-ness); it sounds beautiful, very elegant, isn?t hard to pronounce, and it starts with a Q and not many names used start with a Q. Foreign names are interesting to me because they are different and unheard of. Before I moved, I new a girl named Nhu-Y (New-ih), but she said to pronounce it (New-wye). Then, I guess she got tired of people saying (New-wye) so she told everyone to call her Yvonne instead. I suppose she didn?t like her own name because it was so different. One unique name, that belongs to a guy in a class of mine last year, is Kyoshi. I?ve always thought that name sounded cool. Anyway, yes that?s a unique name, especially for someone who looks 100% Caucasian, but whom is actually, partially Japanese. He was quite an interesting person and out of the ordinary in his own way which worked well with his very out of the ordinary name. I don?t suppose just anyone could carry a unique name like that and have it work. Even if his name was Michael or Bob, he?d be the interesting person you would want to be around. I like to think, ?You make things what they are? and usually not the other way around because even though, Kyoshi, might sound already like a neat name or not, he made his name what it is. He was a senior and last I heard of him, was he was going to go to college in Japan and teach there. So, you might see that unique names don?t always mean someone is going to get teased or hate their name.

Houston, TX is the place I call home although I live in Cypress, TX now, which is the same thing, because it?s apart of Houston like Sugarland is. I think Houston is a good place to live; if you don?t mind it getting very hot, raining often, and no snow. I?ve lived here all the years of my existence and really can?t compare it to other cities because I?ve never really been other places. There are a lot of places I?d like to visit, but the only two places I can really feel at home right now are Houston or Atlanta, Georgia. I?ve almost no family here, but if I were to go to move to Atlanta, I wouldn?t need to go far to get to where a cousin, aunt, or uncle would live.
Originally posted by ChibiHorsewoman I lived in Killeen,TX (Ft.Hood) North of Austin for over a year and I've been to Watertown, NY (FT. Drum) and Kent,WA (Ft.Lewis) as well, I'm sure I can tell if a military town generally sucks or not. Ft.Lewis's selling point is Seattle atleast and Nellis AFB (yeah, I said carson before, and I'll fix that!) is Las Vegas which i said before doesn't count because Las Vegas doesn't need the Air Force to survuve just like Seattle doesn't need Lewis to sustain it's job force. I don't know about Ft.Carson since I've never been to CO, but I've seen a map of the area and there aren't a heck of a lot of cities. Same with Ft. Huachucka (or however you spell the place in AZ) Ft.Gordon doesn't count because it's located in Augusta,GA which is a decent sized city-even if the airport only has two gates out in the open. Of course, maybe it's just the fact that Killeen and Watertown are so small. I'm from Rochester, NY just like Krippled! That's right, Represent!
Wow, my aunt and uncle used to live in Killeen, until they moved to another base in Georgia. I used to visit them when they were out here. Killeen is a pretty small town, but it?s not that bad.
Originally posted by FirePheonix727 Yay for Crimson_Warrior and Terpischore! I was born in Texas! Sugarland... right outside of Houston I think. We moved up here about six or seven years ago... oh how I miss Texan winters. And of course all the mexican food :D. Most of my family is still down there in San Antonio and Houston (a few in Seguine). Thankfully, we visit often.
I remember when I was in 1st grade and this teacher said she lived in Sugarland and also, that I always thought it was actually this white sparkly place where everything was made of sugar and there were candy canes for street signs and everything; I really thought it was like something from a fairy tale. My, my, the imagination of a six-year-old! You could have guessed how disappointed I was when I found out it wasn?t.

Art New Animated Banner Keepin' It Real
Whiteblaze replied to Dragon Warrior's topic in Creative Works
That's great, Gavynn. You know, you're just too funny! Where ever did you get your hilarious talent from?! You never fail to make me laugh. ^_^ -
Nice, list, Leh! I actually like a lot of songs on there! Myself making a list wouldn't be such a good idea, though. Right now, I'm listening to "4" by Aphex Twin. This is one of my favorite songs because there are no words so you don't get distracted by someone singing. To me it sounds really beautiful at some points and throughout it has this nice beat to it. This is definitely a song you can ?Sing the do song? to, if you wanted.

Well, now that I know why the wp is the way it is, I say it's perfect. I mean with the concept you were going for. At first, I thought it was just supposed to be something pink and pretty which is why I mentioned the cherry blossom idea. Really, it's great whether you add something or not.
alvin & the chipminks, beetlejuice, carebears, fraggle rock, eek! the cat, smurfs, teenage muntant turtles, the california raisin show, GI Joe, and my favourite when I was little Pirates of the Dark Water. I was fascinated by nibbler the monkey bird. Ah does anyone else remember this show?
Yes, that's one that I was forgetting! I really loved Pirates of Dark Water and even my mom would watch it with us because it was her favorite too. I remember all of the characters? names except the monkey bird?s. I guess Nibbler sounds familiar. I really miss that show. :(

A bit fast? If anything, a bit slow. It looks great, Ooder! The flash doesn't annoy me, but I think if it went from one side to the other, it would look even better!

I think that looks awesome. I especially like the way her hair looks and the color scheme. It looks so nice, don?t think you could add a cherry blossom or some cherry blossom petals in there somewhere, do you (just to go along with all that pinkness)? ^^

I watched a ton of them, but for some, the fact that I watched them didn?t mean that I liked them a lot. For example, the only reason I watched Alice in Wonderland was so I could watch My Little Pony Tails which came right after it in the mornings. I liked Pink Panther a lot and I remember when I was five, I would wake up at five in the morning to watch Sailor Moon. Saturday mornings I would watch stuff like X-Men and Sonic the Hedgehog. Some of my other favorites were: Fantastic Max, Teknoman, Ronin Warriors, Eureka?s Castle, Muppet Babies, Gummi Bears, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Care Bears, Eek the Cat, Beetlejuice, Captain Planet, Bobby?s World, and some others that aren?t coming to mind. Also, I remember that I couldn?t stand Sesame St.; it was like a punishment to watch when nothing else was on.

Right now I?m listening to ?Face To Face? by Daft Punk and next will be ?Say You?ll Be There? by Spice Girls. ?Face To Face? is one of those happy songs, but really all of Daft Punk?s songs sound happy. This song will not make you frown or cry; you won?t imagine gray, cloudy skies (if anything, blue with fluffy white clouds!) or feel depressed while listening to it. It?s actually a favorite of mine. Hear are the lyrics: "Face To Face" What's going on? Could this be my understanding? It's not your fault I was being too demanding I must admit it's my pride that made me distant All because I hoped that you'd be someone different There's not much I know about you Fear will always make you blind But the answer is in clear view It's amazing what you'll find face to face! I turned away because I thought you were the problem Tried to forget until I hit the bottom But when I faced you in my blank confusion I realized you weren't wrong, it was a mere illusion It really didn't make sense Just to leave this unresolved It's not hard to go the distance When you finally get involved face to face!

Enya is great, but I only really like a few of her songs like "Sail Away", "Only Time", and "Water Mark". I really like Mandalay and Yanni though! I'm not sure if Mandalay fits in Enya's category, but it really doesn't matter after you've heard their music! My favorite song of their?s is ?It?s Enough Now? from their newest album, Solace. Give Mandalay and Yanni a try.

I say it looks great Milly! I like the red and black colors which I think go well together and the pencil sketch effect is nice. You know I'm not familiar with D.N.Angel, but the quote goes so well even though I don't know the character.

Anime if you could be an anime character what would you look like?
Whiteblaze replied to edward-tivrushy's topic in Otaku Central
This is fun and interesting! I think a description is great, but there are also different styles in which someone could look or fit in to. I think as an anime character I?d be of Range Murata?s style of art work. I?d be 5?7, long arms and legs, large chocolate brown eyes, dark brown afro-puff-pigtails (you better believe it!) held up by two hot pink bands, wearing a hot pink, hooded sweater thingy, some dark blue denim overalls (I like overalls!), and some sneakers or something. Simple, yes, but it?s the person who makes the clothes what they are; not the other way around or at least for me it?s that way. ^_^ In addition, I would have a cute little white tiger looking cat named Whiteblaze. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Actually, pink is not really me, but I keep imagining I'd be in pink and it is a cute color even though blue is more me. -
I like that LordBlackCat, esp. the pics on the right and left. I really like the way the FruitsBasket one with the pencil sketch looks; it's very nice and the text is alright. Now I really think the DNAngel one looks great! I like that style!
-
^_^ I think the first one looks great! The second is just as well! Although I wasn't getting lost in all the blue of the first, I do think the red looks nice. Also, for some reason I like the blurriness of ".hack". Both look awesome, but I can't tell which I like better.

I?ve been wanting to read King Lear for a while, but I?ve had so much to do that I haven?t really had the chance, sadly. It appears very interesting and I remember a quote from that play that I thought was very funny, well, to me anyway. I really don?t think I find his work hard to understand. I also love Julius Caesar! I?ve only read a couple of the scenes and they were very entertaining! I need to read through all of it, but one of the things I really like are the speeches given by a few of the characters because they are usually so dramatic. I really like what some of Shakespeare?s characters say because it? so dramatic and I get so caught up in the scene that I for get everything around me. I think I would also like to read, Macbeth. I?ve heard good things about it that really make me want to. One character I really like is, Mercutio, because to me he is sort of the witty jester that plays tricks and comes up with something half-way intelligent every once and a while. Also, he?s just the funniest thing to me sometimes.

The way you talk about it, makes it seem interesting, but is there a site that I can check out to learn more about it? I need visual! Also, I've not heard anything about it.

I can imagine a lot of things and a bike stopping is not difficult at all to me, but I sort of see what you mean by you have to tense your muscles to stop the bike, especially because I tried it that way. I think there is probably a name for this, but I don't think it would really be considered a disorder; aren't disorders usually considered negative things that harm you in some way?
harry, why do you have to be sooo mean? i have a super overactive imagination... it comes in useful when i am bored ^_^
Yes, I agree, having a, well I wouldn't say super overactive, more like a very vivid imagination is nice when you're bored or just have nothing to do but imagine things.
I struggle in school because of my stupid imagination. I tend to zone out alot.
I used to have that problem of zoning out, but I wouldn't say I struggled in school. I remember several times in the past where I'd sat half-way or through entire lessons in classes with out hearing anything or having any information soak in because I was daydreaming the whole time. I'm very glad I don't do that during classes anymore.
