1. *drools like crazy* That's...so...cute...chibi... Adorable. I can't say much without adding how cute it is. And you drew it. That's amazing. Amazingly cute. Love the colors. It's really spiffy, and nicely done. I still can't believe you drew it; it looks like something from offical images you thought you'd never see. ^^ You should put that in the Greeting Card Workshop and see if it gets made into a car. Hmm. Okay, I can't go on much longer with out saying cute. Ah man, just said it...>.< CHIBI KURAMA!!!!
2. Meh, me haven't been here in a while, me be focusing on my RK RPG...and so I'm going to butt in and ruin everyone's fun. At least Artemis didn't forget me when she talked about though colors. ---------------- Komeko sighed as she trudged through the desert. Her mind was open and clear, focusing her thoughts for Stocatta. It appeared to be the most hopeless of situations until a voice buzzed in her head. I guess that answers my question. Vash, we're leaving! NOW! "What the..." Komeko muttered, turning her head up. Sweat was running down the back of her neck as she listeined again. Alright, I'll come. But remember, no killing. "Who...was that? His voice...was different...but..." I know him! From somewhere! Stocatta's voice popped into her head again. Hey, Komeko! Good to see you're not dead, although Legato is. Listein, come to the city, alright? No time to explain just - ah dammit! What? What happened? My supposivly bodyguard. Vash the Stampede. Hey, that's pretty cool. On my way. ------------ Blah, short for my "comeback" post, but I have to go do some work!
3. Hnn. So many animes, so little...uh...umm... Well, I think Trigun would be a really cool game, like an RPG. It'd be neat to be able to switch between the characters. Reliving the events, from the beginning when Vash and Knives were kids to the end where
they get into that shootout and Vash ends up winning
. That's just me though. ^^; I also think Rurouni Kenshin would make a spiffy game. Whoever produced it could also split it into the different sagas. And it would have a very different ending from other games,
since Kenshin dies in the end, unlike most video game heros
. Oh the possibilities TM.
4. Hey Conna, I have an idea on how to get back to normal. ^^ ------------- Katana laughed as she watched Kurumi chase Kit around the ring of kids. Yuka clapped her hands, which was the better way of communicating with her missing teeth. Yuki was giggling but trying to cover it up. "Yo! Kaaaaaaataaaaaaaanaaaaaaa!" Katana looked around as the train became blurry. Kaoru's voice was echoing throughout her head. She rubbed her eyes, trying to see if what was happening was real. "KATANA!" "WHAAAAAAAT?" Katana yelled at Kaoru's face. "Hey! I'm not a kid anymore!" "Of course you're not idiot!" Yahiko yelled. Katana blinked. "What the..." She whirled her head around. There was Kurumi, Kit, Yuka, Yuki, and Amaya, at their normal heights and age. "Wow. We're...not little anymore." "What are you talking about?" Kurumi asked. "Uh....well...hey Yuka? Is it true you wore a diaper when you were five?" Everyone was silent for a moment, before they burst out in laughter. Yuka blushed a bright red. "Who told you?" Kit looked at Yuka strangly. "What do you mean?" "I-uh-um-uh-what..." ------------- Sorry for the short post, but I wanted to clear up Conna's problem the best I could. And remember, Kaz isn't with us anymore. No, he's not dead. ^^;
5. *drinks out of glass labeled 'Creative Juices'* Hey, there you go, that was something creative. ^^ I feel as if I do have bursts of creativity...that usually become something I think is stupid later. But that only applies to writing. Sometimes I'll think of this great thing to draw, or this fantastic idea I have to put on a banner or sommin'. My CJ are mostly atuned to my friends, mainly my friend Die-Die (Diane). We're in drawing class together and I'll think up this great thing to draw or this spiffy quote for something and she'll say she was thinking the same thing ("Chibi Chichiri continuously chomping chedder cheese" ^^). It's really weird, but funny.
6. *grabs bag of popcorn, can of Coke, and sits down* Ooh, yay, movies! ^^ Good. Come Saturday night, I'll have something to do between all the bad shows. (Good idea, Dragon Warrior). Hey, want some popcorn? ^^
7. Well, at least it was fast. Then I could read it without going upstairs to get a sammich (and no, that's my own word). Eh. Kinda stale humor. I didn't quite get most of it. And the animation was pretty, well, crappy. As so compared to How the James Stole Christmas. Although, my favorite part was with the arrow flassing at James and he goes "WHAT?" and then the second time he goes "WTHF?" Hehehe. Yup, you give out a lot of crap to James. And this time, Shinmaru. *tsk tsk* Poor guys...
8. Wow! We're all kids. ^^ That means I'm 6, and Yuka's 5...freaky. ------------------ "Eee! I'm a little squirt!" Katana yelled, running around the train. The rest of the kids sweatdopped as a tiny Yuka joined in, both screaming in high pitched voices. Yuka couldn't say things very well. "Ish five wears old," she said, then looked up horrified. "I cab't tawlk rwight!" Kurumi nodded. "And what the hell was that about the guardian thing?" "GASP! A little kid said hell!" Katana yelled, pointing at the kiddy Kurumi. She looked at her with a sweatdrop. "Little? You're younger than me." "Wand I can't twalk rwight!" Yuka yelled, running around the train again. "It's because you're missing teeth," Yuki said, stopping the small Yuka and opening her jaw. "See? A front tooth and a bottom right tooth." "Well," said Kit, "How come we're kids?" "Dunno," Amaya said. It was a suprising fact that, while everybody had shrunk down about two feet, their clothes and weapons had become smaller with them. "Well, we wan't find wis dude that did wis to us." (Kinda obvious who's talking. ^^) "Kurumi..." Katana said, looking at the younger and shorter verion of Kurumi, "What...did you hear anything before you blacked out?" "Y-yeah. It was the guys voice. Dagger man." "His name's Aconite," Kit said in a serious tone, but with his higher voice it sounded funny, "Which, as Katana pointed out, means posionous plant. Or some kinda drug." "Sounds like a baddie," Yuki said. The rest nodded. "Well," continued Kurumi, "He said...that 'I heal quickly, unlike you.' And then...I blacked out." "Waybe he can control wime!" Yuka yelled, jumping up. "Yeah right. And you're the Queen of Britain," Kit said. "Wi am!" "..."
9. Wow. Those are really cool. I wonder how you make those exactly, because I know you use that style for backgrounds and the...uh...way you overlay them with images. (Hard to find the exact words) I've seen those before...not yours, but that same kind of style. The dude from the website I'm thinking of says he used "black canvas, Photoshop 7 filters, and 3D Studio Max 4 renders in some cases". Oh, and "without stock images", whatever those are. (Heh, I'm stupid. v.v) I seriously wish I could make those. They'd be really spiffy on a banner. Anyways, the first one reminds me of ice. Dark, icy ice that makes you wanna run away from it, but you can't because you're in an avalanche in it...(woah, getting carried away there. ^^; ) The second one gives me that spring feeling. It has a soft effect with the white, but it does have the black, as if reminding you of a certain thing. Hmmm.
10. Sheesh. We're really prone to having blood loss here too. ^^; --------------- "YUUUUUUUUUUUUKAAAAAAAAA!" Katana yelled in her ear. Usuallly that would do the trick, but the blood had made Yuka unconscious and pale. "Losing blood at an alarming rate...loss of consciousness...pale skin..." Megumi was thinking quickly. These weren't symptoms of any disease, just the effects of being stabbed with four daggers. "She's...a tough little kid..." Kurumi muttered, looking over Yuka. "And a pan in the ass to deal with," Sanouske added. *BAM* "Ow...you didn't have to do that..." Sanosuke said, dazed after being hit by Katana's fist (of doom. ^^) "Megumi...how is she doing?" Kenshin asked. It was turning into the evening, and yet everyone was restless. Yuka was still out of it, Kaz (here ya go coma boy) was gone, and Yuki was the only middle schooler not stabbed. "So you see, if you guys die, I can avenge you," she said to Kurumi and Katana in a chipper voice. "Ooo, thanks, that sounds nice," Katana grumbled back. Her stab from the dagger was throbbing in pain, yet she wasn't going to acknowledge that. "Where did Kaz go?" Kit asked. Kaoru shrugged. "None of us know...except Megumi. She said he was talking about going to find Hayao...whoever that is." "Hayo Mayizaki!" Katana yelled suddenly, standing up. "He's considered the master of anime films...Spirited Away was pretty spiffy, and Princess Mononoke was really cool! Bloody but cool." "Katana?" Amaya asked. "Yeah?" "She said Hayao, not Hayo." "...Oh." The hyper Katana sat down. "How the hell are we gong to be back to Tokyo if this shadow guy keeps stabbing our forces?" Yuki asked. "That's a good question," Kit responded, than began to ponder for the answer. (Haha, ponder. ^^) "Well, the train's busted," Kurumi said. "So there goes an easy shot at going home." "Home?" Amaya asked. "But we don't belong here." "Tokyo is where we live. Whether it be the Meiji era or the 21st centruy, it's where we're all from." "Excluding Kaz," Kit said. "What do you mean?" "He's from America." "Oh." "What's....America?" Yahiko asked. This caught the middle schoolers off guard. "Well, uh...America is..." Katana began, trying to think back to social studies. "America is to the east of Japan," Amaya said. "And it's where all the cool anime from Japan is shipped out to. They dub it in English first, so that the Americans can understand it, and...uh..." "America was discovered in 1492, by some dude named, uh, Christopher. Yeah, that's it! Chris Columbus!" Katana said, thinking quickly. "And it's one of the youngest countries in the world," finished Yuki. "Along with Israel and stuff." This left Yahiko even more confused. "What?" "AH FORGET IT!" Kurumi yelled, hitting him on the head with the flat side of her blades. -------------------------- Turning into FLCL chaos. ^^;

12. Just for some help, if anybody has any questions, here's an FAQ from Tokyopop. Some questions were fairly confusing, but it helps. ^^ --------------- Question: Where do I have to live in order to enter this contest? Answer: This contest is open to legal United States residents (excluding its territories, military installations and commonwealths), except for residents of Puerto Rico. Question: So, if I write in English, and live, say, in Canada ... I still can't enter? Answer: No, unfortunately, you can't - gomen! Question: Are there any age restrictions for the contest? Answer: No, but if you are under 18, your Parent or Legal Guardian MUST fill out the appropriate info on the entry form. Question: I have written a manga with a couple of my friends - can we enter as a group? Answer: Yes, group submissions are OK. You must all sign the Entry Form and, should you win, you would all share the allotted prize. Question: Should I use special writing instruments or paper? Answer: No, these are not necessary. If you would like to use them, that's fine, too, and we have included a short list of online retailers who specialize in manga writing materials here. Question: What size paper should I use? Answer: The original size doesn't really matter, as long as it is scalable to an ultimate publication size of 5" by 7 3/4". Choose whatever shows off your work to its best advantage. Question: Can I submit a really cool cover, too? Answer: Not unless we specifically ask you to submit one. All we require are a completed and signed Entry Form; a title page listing the title of the work, your name (or names, in the case of a group entry), and the number of pages in your submission; and the actual 15-20 pages of manga that you are submitting, with your name(s), telephone number(s) and manga title on the back of each page. Question: OK, I can't send in a cover... what SHOULD I send in its place? Answer: Send a title page containing your name(s), the title of the manga you are submitting, and the total number of pages in your manga entry. Question: How long can my story be? Answer: It must be at least 15 pages long, and no longer than 20 pages long. Question: Can I submit my manga in color? Answer: No, it must be in black and white. Question: Will you return my manga to me at the end of the contest? Answer: Submitted work will NOT be returned to you. We therefore recommend that you send to us the best-quality photocopy possible of your manga. Question: Will I be penalized if send in a photocopy, or if I don't use fancy instruments? Answer: Not at all. We recommend that you send best-quality photocopies, and we do not care what materials you use to produce your manga - as long as it's legible and looks good. Question: Can I sumbit manga that has art on both sides of the page? Answer: NO. Manga art must appear only on one side of each page. No double-sided entries will be considered. Plus, remember: you must include your name(s), phone number(s) and manga title on the back of each submitted page. Question: Am I supposed to put anything on the back-side of my submitted manga pages? Answer: Yes, the following information should appear on the back-side of each one of your manga pages: Your name (or names, if you're submitting as a group), phone number(s), and the title of the manga you're submitting. Question: Can I get more technical data for things like bleeds & trim sizes? Answer: Yep, by accessing our mech guide. ------------------- The mech guide can be found here.
13. "Ah dammit!" Katana yelled, fairly weak. She carefully pulled the dagger out from her chest and clutched the area, trying to stop the blood flow. Kenshin kneeled down and swiftly took out the daggers. He then ripped two long pieces of cloth from his robe and wrapped them around the wounds. The blood began to sweep through. Kenshin, almost near panicing, ripped off more pieces until he had taken off the top of his rob. "We need to cut off the circulation," Yuki said. She was the only one not stabbed with a dagger, and was lucky to be so. "That way the wounds won't bleed so badly. Sanouske was taking off the wrappings around his fist. He pulled the dagger out of Kurumi's arm, then wrapped up the area around the wound. "Sheesh, we need a medic," Katana said. Blood wad beginning to show through the lines between her closed fingers. Sanouske then began to wrap her up with the wrappings from his waist. "Uh...Sano..." Katana said. "Yeah?" "Uh...never mind." She sighed. I'm in heavvvvvvvonnnnnnnnnn... Kit and Amaya still had the dagger embedded in them. With Kenshin using his shirt to take care of Yuka and the wrappings from Sano on Kurumi and Katana, there weren't many suitible bondings left. "Sanouske, your shirt," Kaoru said. Sanouske looked at her. "What? What do you mean?" "You stupid shirt, duh! These children's lives are more important than your outfit." Mumbling swears, Sanouske took off his shirt and ripped off the sleeves. He did Amaya first, pulling out the dagger and wrapping a sleeve around her. He than, very reluctantly, did a little bit of CPR to bring her back to consciousness. She did, coughing up blood, but being okay. "Kit, I hope you're not dead yet." "Nope. Besides, you always need to help damsils in distress first." The two burst out laughing. "If I wasn't so damn hurt, I'd kill you," Yuka muttered.
14. Wait wait wait...what is crosshatching? It's a completly new term for me. v.v Other problems arise....(a) I don't have a good printer, neither does my friend, (b) Money's scarce man. We'd have to word hard for it *hums the "They Work Hard for the Money" song*. The computet thing is another problem...I don't have any kind of program that could edit such a thing. No Photoshop, nope. Unless there's some free download somewhere that edits drawings, I'm out of luck with the PC. Tone sheets...don't sound so bad. Alright, I'll look up the website and stuff...than call Lorenza to see if it's okay to start inking in the page. ^^
15. *whips out a sheet of paper and a pencil* Anyways, just thinking about how much developing "The World" would cost gives me headaches, and not to mention that, if they created a game like it, you would have to pay a lot. Well, onto the happy subject...I think it would be quite possible for a game like the world. Well, half-way. The problem that comes up is how would you fight, walk, move your arms, etc., with just the helmet? o_O Be kinda hard, don't you think? Besides that, I think that having 100 people as the same character would be kind of hard. I mean, (theoreticly) there are thousands of designs, colors, and types, meaning that just a small change in a design would mean an entirely new character. Motion suits would be hard to make, not to mention hard to place somewhere. >.< And they would be expensive... But seeing as how massive the internet is and how almost everyone owns a computer, it would be fairly possible to make such a game as "The World". Maybe not the same, but close.
16. *hugs maladjusted* Thanks! *maladjusted runs away* o_O Anyways, I would like to say...uh.... Hehe, I blew up. I have my super arrogant moments, so yeah. Hey kiln....seeing as how you advertise the contest in your sig, I'm guessing you're entering it as well. My question, for you, is what would you suggest when going about editing a manga for it's final draft? (I find this question difficult to explain) What I mean is, should I use the computer to touch up stuff, or just do it by hand? Things like that. (Eee, I'm confused.)
17. Wooo wee...*oro eyes* Sheesh, I'm getting dizzy. ^^ ---------- Katana yelled out. "YUUUUUUUUUUUUUKA! KURUUUUUUUUUUUUUMIIIII!!!?" "SHUT UUUUUUUUUUUUUUP!" Yahiko yelled in her ear. She shot him a death stare. "We won't find them like that," said Sanouske, was investigating some twigs. "Something...was here," he hissed. Katana quickly slipped away. She had to find Kurumi, or at least Yuka. Just had to... "Thought you could get away?" She turned around to see Kit and Amaya and grinned. "Hehe, well, yeah. Didn't think you guys would notice." "Don't take us for idiots," Amaya replied. Her eyes suddenly darted to a branch. "Someone's here." Kit and Katana listeined. The faintest sound of branches creaking caught their full attention. "Show yourself!" Kit yelled, swiftly drawing his sword. "Foolish children!" the someone yelled back. "And Katana, so nice to see you again." "AGH! Will you stop following me! What are, some perverted stalker?" "Like Miroku!" Amaya whispered, breaking Katana's serious moment and making her laugh. "No, not at all," the voice responded. "Who are you?" Kit yelled over the girl's laughter. "You wish to know, yet won't answer." "What? Hey, I got out of school because of this, so don't make me think!" "Such impatience. I am Aconite." Katana cleared her throat. "As stated in the dictionary: 1. Any of various, usually poisonous perennial herbs of the genus Aconitum, having tuberous roots, palmately lobed leaves, blue or white flowers with large hoodlike upper sepals, and an aggregate of follicles. 2. The dried poisonous roots of these plants, used as a source of drugs. Also called monkshood." "Poisonous, huh?" Amaya said. "Sounds like an evil dude if you ask me." "What if...this is the guy who uses the daggers?" Kit asked. Katana nodded. "Possibly." Their conversation was cut short. The three of them were pierced by daggers, straight into the chest, barely missing the heart. "Hey," Kaoru wondered, "Where's Kit? And Amaya and Katana?" Yuki looked around, then started to pout. "Ah man, they left me here with the weird people! Not fair!" "Great," Sanouske said, sighing. "Yuka and Kurumi are gone. And now Amaya, Kit, and Katana." ----------------------- Geez, we're prone to getting seperated, huh? ^^;
18. Wasabi - It's not suppossed to be offending. I'm mad because I had to change it. And I don't like it when people change their names. ^_^ -------------------- Katana remained in the train, inspecting Kaz. She stuck her head out a window. "DOES ANYBODY KNOW THAT KAZ IS NEAR DEATH?!?!?!" she yelled at the top of her lungs. Everyone sweatdropped except Megumi, who was running towards the train. "First Kit...than Yuki...now Kaz," she mumbled, pushing Katana aside. She inspected Kaz, running fingers up and down his side, which was covered in a mass of blood. While Megumi didn't touch the wound, she kept making odd remarks. "Katana..." she said, turning towards the girl. "Do you have anything I can use as a bandage?" Katana thought quickly. "No. But what about this crap around him?" She indicated the wrappings around Kaz's chest, arms, and legs. "Oh yes, of course..." Megumi went to work, he hands flying from the wound to the wrappings like lightning. Katana stared, dumbstruck, at the speed and percision of the woman. "Katana!" Kurumi's head popped in a window. "Wha'?" "It's Yuka. She's...gone crazy. Something about a cookie, a giant hammer, and the 3 crazy musketeers...I have no idea what she's talking about." Katana edged her way out of a window and followed Kurumi into the forest a few meters. There was Yuka, curled in a ball. "What the hell's wrong with you Yuk?" Katana asked. She poked her with a chopstick (ah, I can't resist). Yuka didn't respond. Kurumi made a concerned face. "I'm...not sure what's wrong with her. She just walked away from us and I followed her. And then...I found her like this." Yuka was pale, her skin with a slight tint of blue. Her pupils were dilated and was shaking. "What fools." Kurumi whirled her head around. "What? Who said that?" "You may not know who I am. But the girl does. And so does the injured boy." Katana gasped. "It's...you!" The voice gave an evil laugh. "How kind of you to remember me, Katana Mitsowari. And your friend, Kurumi Mishima. Ah yes, don't be surprised. I know everything about you children. Where you come from. Why you're here." Suddenly, Yuka started glowing. Her figure began to warp, until it had taken the shape of a woman who looked exactly like Yuka. "What the..." Kurumi held out a hand, as if wanting to touch the older Yuka and see if it was real. "Yuka!" Katana yelled. "What is it?" --------------- Ooo yay, cliffhanger! Dum dum dum dummmmmmmmm. ^^
19. Wow. I can't believe people have read her books besides me and my friend. Wow. Anyways, I haven't read Pierce's newest series yet, but I plan on doing so. In the mean time, I've read the Wild Magic, Lioness, and the first three books in Protector of the Small (cause the school library doesn't have the fourth ~_~). I started reading the Wild Magic series in fourth grade. Yep, fourth grade, nine years old (yeah, I'm young). And I totally fell in love with them. They're just so creative and have really nifty plot lines to them. I especially liked the Lioness Quartet, seeing Alanna struggle to live amongst boys as a boy. And that leads Kel. She was a girl living amongst boys, and had to be just like them. And, in her mind, better than them. I really like these books because of the good plotlines, the nifty characters, and such. I appreciated the fact that Tamora Pierce didn't go too deep into romance, seeing as how I can't stand the crap, and I love the medieval setting. SWORDS! ^^
20. Um...I think you guys are missing obvious things. 1.) It's not finished. 2.) It's drawn in pencil to avoid mistakes. 3.) We're going to ink it in once we're done. 4.) Speech bubbles will be fixed. 5.) The page will be cleaned up before we submit it. DUH! 6.) I'm 12 and she's 13. Cut us some slack. >.< Other than the fact that, yes, it needs to be cleaned up, what else does everyone think? *looks around*
21. Here it is! Well, the introduction page and the little boxes. :sweat: Me and my friend Lorenza are making our own manga for Tokyopop's third "Rising Stars of Manga" competition. I didn't draw these becasue my drawings supposivly isn't "manga-ey" enough. >.< Oh yeah, I feel so loved... Da introduction page! (PS: The color may not look that great because I saved it as .gif to save some hardrive space.) The manga is entitled "Otaku Yakurin Shoruo", which translates to Otaku Agent Files. Or is suppossed to. We didn't put "the" before otaku because we weren't sure about it...so yeah. *flips through the manga book* Um...Lorenza has drawn three boxes, a bell, and an arm so far for the first page. (Oh yeah, we're good. ^^)
22. Katana

Xboxed

*squints* PT must think he's an upperclassman...nobody writes the words "do not" anymore. What the...? What's this? No grammer marks? Hm... Well, that's a pretty spiffy banner, by my knowledge. My only suggestion would be to maybe put a faint picture of an Xbox in the background or somethin' (see, you wouldn't be able to put that, huh?), give it a little more element, or...something.... Hehe, do not....what a dork... ^^
23. Hehe, it looks like a fly landed on his nose and he's trying to get it. ^^ Yes, pastels have the tendency to smear all over the freakin' place and go everywhere except your drawing. That's the annoying part about them. On the plus side, they have a good soft effect to them, so it sorta looks like chalk. Which is cool. :D That's a pretty nice drawing. And considering that you like to draw DBZ style, Elk turned out pretty spiffy. ^^
24. Mistu was sprawled across a couch in the den, her algebra book on the floor with a pencil on top of it. The can of soda had multiplied to seven more, all laying on the ground beside the algebra book. "Mitsu Takata....Mit...su...." Mitsu woke up at the voice. "What the...hey! It's you again! Mind telling me who the hell you are?" She looked at her watch. 11:58. "Sheesh...I slept a long time..." The clock ticked on to 11:59. Mistu sat on the couch, wating. "Ding! Midnight." Suddenly, a bright light appeared in the den. Mistu covered her eyes, with enough room to see what the thing was. Out of the light came a woman, dressed in a Greek style toga. She had leather sandels tied up to her knee, and bore a sheild on her right arm. A dagger hung from her belt on her left hip, while a sword clinked on the right. The woman had dark hair in a ponytail and piercing black eyes. Her face was smooth yet firm with an appearance of agressiveness. "Who the...what the..." Mitsu was lost. She was sure she had woken up, but this was way too much. It had to be a dream. Suddenly finding her courage, she yelled at the figure. "Who or what in the name of hell are you?" The woman smiled, then laughed. "If you wish to act this way, I won't tell you." "...Huh? Uh...lady, just answer the question." The woman smiled again, than walked up to Mitsu. She held out an arm, grabbed Mitsu's shirt, and picked up the teenager with no effort. "Do you know yet, mortal?" "Um, no. You grab my shirt and hold me up...that's nice. But, uh...I have to go to the bathroom. Soda does this to me, you know." The woman stared blankly at Mitsu. "Mortals...clever in their ways, yet the first to die..." "And WHY do you keep calling me a mortal! Sure I'll die later, but still! I'm no different than you!" The woman put Mitsu down. "Are you so sure about that?" "Yup." With this chance, Mistu ran as fast as she could out of the den. She found the bathroom and slammed the door. "Do you think you can get away from me this easily Mitsu?" "Do you MIND lady?" A minute later Mitsu walked out, ready to take on the woman who appearaed from the light. "Sit down," the woman said. Mistu sat on the couch and shoved her algebra book out of the way with her foot. "I am Athena, the Goddess of War, although I trust you know that already?" Mistu nodded. "Yeah. We're studying Greek mythology in history class." "Mythology? Pah, no. I am as real as you, silly mortal." "Cut to the chase, will ya? I have a test to study for?" Athena looked at her strangely. "You say that in hope of making me go away. I know you well, Mitsu, better than you think. I know you don't need to study. You were prepared for this five years ago." Mitsu blinked. Wow, she does know me better than I thought. "Of course I do! But, as you wish, I will...'cut to the chase'. 18 years ago, you and several others were chosen to carry out my place on Olympus. Before you were born, still in your mother's womb. I am here to instruct you on your duties." "What the...Athena, I know about you and all, but..." Mistu pinched herself while squeezing her eyes shut. When she opened them again, Athena still stood there. So she tried again, this time punching herself. Nothing. She tried again for a third time, this time intending to punch herself in the head. As the blow was about to impact, Athena topped the teen with a wave of her hand. "Stop. I am real, alright?" Mitsu opened her eyes. "O-okay."
25. Ma haha, I've seen that picture a lot of times before...*does little evil laugh* Well, the first one is okay, but the hair...is scary. Really. An afro doesn't go with Mister Battosai. The second one is pretty cool...looks like something I would draw. Kinda. Kinda. The third one is pretty spiffy. My only complaint is that the chin looks more like Saitoh's...long and pointy. ^^; And the background isn't all that fantastic, but I don't do background either, so I don't care. :toothy: And finally, the OVA one. There's room for improvement on that one, especially on Kenshin's face. The eyes didn't turn out really good, and they aren't even...one's higher than the other. o_O Well, you have some good drawings, Shinzoku, just need to work on your style. ^^
