1. You know what's scary? It's that I'm 12, and a lot of people's youngest siblings are my age...o_O; I have two older brothers (15 and 20), and I'm the youngest at 12. More or less, it would be a question for my brothers about me being annoying. >< The 15 year old one is Bipolar, and I mean the severe, kinda hyper, doesn't-know-when-to-quit, aggresive, violent, kind. He's on medication and it keeps changing because they can't find the right drug, and I don't think they ever will. Besides that, he can be a total jerk. Whenever I have friends over, he likes to see if he can win the fight for the basement (which is a finished basement with our computer, TV, hottub, and Xbox), and he always loses. Then he makes a total hissy fit over it, and usually gets yelled at. Yep, these things are normal, and I can usually expect when a certain event is going to happen in these fights, they're just that obvious. My oldest brother, the 20-year-old, is really cool. He's funny and atheltic, and is just a really good guy. He doesn't really annoy me except for being a selfish jerk at times (like if I stand in front of a football clip for two seconds), but that's normal for everybody. (I now have a new quote for the football thing: "Oh, I'm sorry I deprived you of your precious football for three seconds." ^^)
2. *heaves a heavy sigh* Okay, I'm all finished. Lemme tell you, you guys that entered in lots of pics really gave me hell. ^^; Also, with the multiple drawings, they either helped or bombed your score, and in many cases bombed. Enough of that, here are the scores, as saved in my Word document. And don't worry and hate me if you think you got a low score...consider me the tough judge. ^_~ -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Okay, so here I am with my scores. If you entered near the beginning, your name will be closer to the top and vise versa. If you had multiple pics, I will average out my scores for them. 3. I think it would be great if they were to make another season of .hack//SIGN. After the series is over, it just leaves you hanging, since none of the characters appear in the games (with the exception of Balmung, etc.). And not all of us have PS2s, so we don't know what happens. I would like to see a continuation of the SIGN characters rather than others. I find them the most entertaining and interesting to watch.
4. It's fuzzy because I saved it as .jpg. If I had saved it as .png, like I usually do, it would've turned out a lot more clear. ^^ Well, that wallpaper took me about two hours or so...getting the edges around Shippo perfectly clean took a loooooong time. Thanks, I like the background too. ^^
5. I made these awhile ago for a website called Inuyasha World. Inu fans, does it sound famililar? ^^ This was made back about a month ago when I actually had my PaintShop (:bawl: ). Well, they're saved as .jpg, somthin' new for me, but I wanted to save some hardrive space. ^^; Here it is! Or, at leat, the 800x600 version. ^^; What are those words? Eh, I'm not really sure myself. *rotten tomatoes get thrown at her* Hey hey, just kidding! ^^; They're lyrics from the Shippo song, which actually isn't the Shippo song, but is, so, uh...*gets confused*
6. "Mitsu Takata," the principal's voice called out. Mitsu looked up from her slouched position across two office chairs. She sat up and brushed some hair out of her eyes. The principal opened his office door and sat down behind his desk. Mitsu walked in, her shoes tapping against the floor tiles. She had treaded this room before, and knew it well. "Miss Takata, I am terribly disappointed in you," the principal said, his hands folded up and on his chin. "This is the third time this week and the ninth time this month you've been in this office." "Yes Mr. Shitamoto, I know," Mitsu replied dully. She fingered some coins in her pocket as she spoke. "This cannot continue. You randomly bully and beat up people just because-" "Just becasue they've harmed my friends!" Mitsu yelled, standing up and slamming a fist on Mr. Shitamoto's desk. "They're punks, sir, who don't know the first thing about respect! Guys who get straight Ds on their report cards and have never once passed a test without three tries! They're exactly the kind of idiots that would-" "ENOUGH TAKATA! I am sick and tired of your complaints! You have no right to be judging others who are just like you!" "Just...like me? Just like me? Old man, are you kidding? Those morons are near me at all! At least I can past tests. And without me, Shitamoto, this school wouldn't be one of the highest ranking schools in the country, and you know it!" The principal sighed. "Mitsu, there is absolutly no reasoning with you. Go. Leave." He waved his hand towards the door. "What? I'm off the hook that easily?" "Just go Miss Takata! Before I really try and punish you." Mitsu mumbled random swear words under her breath as she closed Mr. Shitamoto's door. "Stupid no good old people...think they know everything..." Mitsu continued mumbling as she opened her locker. It was the end of the school day and nobody was there...nobody, that is, except the faculty. She opened a side door to the school and jumped off the steps, sending her belt ends flying all over the place. Mitsu sighed and began her journey home. Luckily her parents were working late again, so news of her meeting with the principal wouldn't be heard, thanks to the delete button on their answering machine. "It's nothing new. They work late all the time." Mitsu dumped her backpack on the floor and went to the kitchen for a soda. As she cracked open the can and drank, a voice called out. "Mitsu Takata." Mitsu stopped, almost choking. "What the...who the hell are you?" There wasn't a response. ---------- Ooh, dum dum dum....I just remembered that the "mentors" could only meet with their chosen one at midnight..oops. ^^;
7. Too fast? Hey, I think it's perfect. That is, to say, I'm also a super fast reader. ^^; The animation is pretty choppy...I think it would look better if the sildes were to either slide into each other or a dissolve effect...I dunno, up to Lord Prozen, really. Pretty funny though. (And I think I know the technique used with the Ring)
8. Let's see...um, go over to my friend's house, act hyper all freakin' night, snack on stuff, watch some anime, work on our entry for Tokyopop's manga contest, and go on the computer. Not to mention run around the neighborhood, not go to bed until about 4 in the morning, get shotglasses of champagene at midnight. Yup. And that's the usual stuff. ^^;
9. >.< I was just kidding, okay! ^^; Well, I see what you guys mean. It's not so much G Gundam as it is SD Gundam. I was confused at how they changed the meaning of SD (super deformed is much better, and funnier), but the people who don't like the show thinks it dishonors Gundam or whatever, when the truth is it doesn't. My lines of thinking for SD Gundam is that the guys who created Gundam probably wanted a Gundam series for little kids, to gradually introduce them into the whole Gundam universe. I know, it's a big jump from bright and happy to dark and scary, but still, it's okay. (Oh, and PS: I know about the earlier versions of SD Gunda, truth me. ^^)
10.
Originally posted by Hittokiri Zero The real "otakus" are usually the crazy insane cosplaying fans who buy more than just anime dvds. They buy anything anime, from anime cels to anime shirts, to anime eating utensils. Yep or something like that =P. I wouldn't really consider myself an anime otaku, i'd be a big anime fan but not one of these "otaku" that you speak of.
Crazy and insane, yep. I consider myself an Otaku to a...far extent. I am totally obsessed with the stuff, I own tons of mangas, my room is complete with anime models, posters, and drawings, and to top it off, me and my friends have started the Otaku Agency. Bunch of kids at school and stuff who are otakus...it's fun. I think the problem with the definition of "otaku" is that not everyone can afford everything. Older teenagers will have an easier time getting anime-related things compared to the older child or preteen. I try my best to get anime stuff, but it's hard (a)getting my freakin' allowence from my mom, and (b)finding a good place in my area that sells anime. *heaves heavy sigh* Welp, I'm done, see ya later...
11. *eyes swirling* Woah....really...cool... Pretty spiffy. The blue, pink/red and black mix really well together, and the swirl effect made it really work. It's really bright, which is really neat (I like bright stuff), and the little weave effect added a nice touch. It has a good soft effect also...that'd be good for a banner background of some sort. ^_~ Spiffy. 10/10
12. "Yuka," Kensin asked, pointing at the squeaky hammer, "Where'd you get that?" "Huh? What? Oh, wait a minute, these are suppossed to be in the top and bottom notes...." ----------------- "Yay!!!" Katana yelled out, clapping. "I like that song, really nifty." She held up a card that read 9.5. "What the..." Yuka asked, "I got zeros from you guys and you think a stupid song is better?" "Yes!" everyone replied in unison to Yuka. "Ah geez..." Everyone agreed, Amaya had done pretty well with her song. "Here are the standings!" Kaoru called out. "Yuka, Zero! Amaya, Nine!" Yuka sat in a corner, scowling, as Kit was pushed onto the stage by Katana and Kurumi. "Uh...let's see..." Kit thought, tapping a finger to his chin. "Uh..." Suddenly, he looked up in amazment. "Lightbulb!" Yuka cried out, now back from the corner. Kit ran to one side of the room. He then ran up the wall, flipped, landed on the stage, jumped, ran on the ceiling for a breif moment, landed, jumped, flipped, jumped off the other wall, and landed on the stage. "Do you take ballet lessons?" Kaz asked jokingly. "Nope! That be 100% skill from me as a killer!" He burst out laughing like an idiot (or how Vash would). "I think he got a hold of your eggnog," Katana whispered to Kurumi. She nodded. "Wouldn't doubt it." Katana popped off the ground and onto the stage after Kit was dragged off. She thought, her eyes watching the ceiling. Suddenly, an idea struck her in the head (or was it Yuka's giant hammer? ~_~). "What's she gonna do? Does she have any talent?" Yahiko asked Yuka. "How should I know? All I know is that she and I can be hyper." Yahiko sighed and reclinded back to his spot. "I shall sing...1/2!" Katana yelled. "It's the Rurouni Kenshin opening theme!" "Oro? Opening theme?" Kenshin asked, surprised. "A song," Kaz told him. Katana began to sing, her voice matching the song as well as any person could without being the actual singer. Everyone sat there, looking half shocked, half dumbstruck, at the extremly hyper girl singing a slightly high pitched song. -------------- I be not in choir, but I can sing pretty well...and I decided that, for every two people, we should give scores. ^^ --------------- *looks down* No, not Freckles, 1/2! It's the Japanese RK theme! It's this thingie! (You have to copy and past the link into a music player...if you have Windows Media Player, you go to open URL and paste it there).
13. That's pretty nifty. Their really cool, I have to say. I can't draw realistic people for...uh, anything. ^^; The colors are cool. When you had fire and ice, I thought you meant something likes the elements...or...something....*mumbles off* Totally spiffy, really. Uh...*thinks* 8.5/10
14.
Originally posted by RPCrazy Katana: next time you wanna cosplay, bleach your hair then dye it the blue. You can always dye it back to your normal color and wait for the bleach to grow out. ^_^
The reason I bought the gel stuff was because my mom would never, ever, ever, ever, ever let me bleach my hair. >.< Dunno why, she used to do it a lot...*goes on mumbling about random stuff*
15. I could probably do it...my only question is, when you say "cool stuff like this" do you mean drawing real anime pics or made up characters? I'm better along the lines of made up ones, seeing as how I can make them any way I want. I'll think about it, really...
I suggest you change the little error page...I found that pretty offensive.
16. Hehe, that's cute, really. The chibi pic of Chichiri in the middle is really kawaii. The background mixes in well with the images. My only complaint is that you seem a bit repetative in your colors - that is, to say that you use that style of blue a lot. The text is okay...I think a different color would help it a bit, to stand out some more. Overall, it's a nice banner, just that the background and text kind of bother me. A bit. >.<
17. Ah yes, quotes, quotes...I have a lot. Um... "It's like toveno escave. Saying it's Gundam when basiclly it's just giant robot anime, right?" (I have no idea if I spelled that right, but that's from Nota's dad in FLCL) "Legato. Now I am the one hunting you. *sigh* Ah, that's no good! It sounds cool in my head but in reality it's not!" (Vash, Trigun) "What is that ridiculous appendix growing out of your head?" (I have no idea if Hiei said appendix or not, sounded like it; Yu Yu Hakusho) "Wow. And I thought Satruous and Menardi had issues." (That's from a videogame, Golden Sun: The Lost Age, said by Sheba) "Automatic toliet flushing! How luxurious!" (Mu we he, that's from me. Whoops, sorry, not an anime quote...) "Oh yeah - I think that man is - Vash - the - Stampede!" (Meryl while typing away furiously at her typewrite, while in the background, you can hear Vash saying Love and Peace over and over again; Trigun) "Repeat carfully after me!" "O-okay..." "This world is made of-" "This world is.." "This world is made of!" "This world is made of..." "Made of...LOVE AND PEACE!!!" (Vash and the sheriff in Trigun episode 4, Love and Peace)
18. I've never colored my hair before, so to speak, but I almost did. Hence the word almost. Well, I was dressing up as my Trigun character for Halloween. Luckily I had made her outfit simple enough to wear, so that part was easy. Anyways, she has this funky hair that's light blue and spikey...well, I can't spike my hair, even though it's really short, so I went to the dye. I saw this stuff in the hair dressers. It was a very shocking blue, but light blue, so it would go great with my character. Yep, I shelled out the money to buy it....and went home to test it out. Eh, reality check, blue, no matter how vibrant, will never show up on brown to black hair. So I ended up wasting my money. Now that hair gel with blue sits somewhere under the bathroom sink...hmm...
19. Hoo boy. You guys have to calllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllm down. *sigh* --------------- Soon, Yuka fell asleep...or at least, she laid unconscious on the floor. Katana poked her with a chopstick (oh yeah, I'm good). "Yep, out. Definetly," she said, reclining back to her spot. "You know what's funny?" Kurumi asked. "What?" "There's only two middle school guys here. The rest of us are girls." "Yeah, that's sad. I put pitty on Kit and Kaz..." "They have funny names." "Yuppers." "Kit...sounds like a kitten or something. HE'S A KITTY!" Kurumi yelled, running around the room. Katana sweatdroppped. "And Kaz...is like Kazuko." "Who's that?" "Dunno." Kurumi huffed a sigh. "Guess we should get to bed, huh?" "'spose so. Well..." Katana walked out of the room, leaving Kurumi sitting on the floor, a confused look on her face. Katana soon returned, the block-like pillow in her arms. "Can't sleep without a pillow," she said. "If you can call it that." The two laughed and sprawled out across the floor. The room they were in was rather large, larger than the front room but smaller than the eating area. Two beams in the middle supported the roof above. In the back was a door leading outside, and right next to the door was a window (yes...my imagination of the room ^^). "Yuka...you okay?" "What? Who's Yuka?" Yuka stood before Katana proudly, dressed like one of the three musketeers. Next to her was Kurumi. "You guys okay?" "Of course we are, remember?" replied Kurumi. "Um...no." "We're The Crazy 3 Musketeers of the OtakuBoards!" "What're your names?" Katana asked, feeling rather stupid. "Inuluvr1" Yuka yelled. "Conna_da_fox!" shouted Kurumi. "And you're Katana!" "Duh! I'm Katana, you're Kurumi, and she's Yuka!" "Um...no." "Uh...yeah." "No." "Yeah." "No." "Yeah." "No." "Yeah." "No no NO!" "Yeah yeah YEAH!!! Remeber, the RPG? You drank too much eggnog?" "Oh yeah..." Katana wook up. "Woah, freaky." ----------------- One word: ^^
20. And WHY? That's my big money question. I am awfully curious to know why everyone on the face of the Gundam forum hates G Gundam and SD Gundam so freakin' much. It appears that I am the opposite of everyone else...I can't stand Gundam Wing, or any of those Gundam series with mobile suits...they just bother me. ~_~ Anyways, back to subject. G Gundam appeals to me because, I think, it has more of a storyline and plot. And it's easy to understand. The fight scenes are pretty cool but don't take up half or 3/4 of the episode. The characters develop over time and there is a wide range of theme (characters), from eight year old kids to sixty year old men (or so).
And it has a pretty nifty opening theme.
SD Gundam. Why does everyone hate this show so much? The only reasons I've seen is "It's too childish". Well DUH! It was intended for children, geniuses. I really like this series. I think it's a good change of pace for the dudes who created Gundam. The colors are nice a bright, the episodes are (for the most part) hilarious, and the evil dudes aren't exactly evil. Or smart for that matter. Sure, I can't stand Captain Gundam (I hate main characters), but I do like the other characters. Zero and Bakunetsumaru have good and bad traits to themselves, like every charcter does, and they actually have compassion for the stuff they do. The episodes don't have too much fight time, and the fact that the characters aren't war-driven, psycho maniac nuts ("calm youself Katana...") is good. Okay. *takes deep breath* Curious to know what you guys think, and how you G and SD haters are gonna respond.
21. I usually go by how an anime's first episode is. Series that have good beginning episodes: Yu Yu Hakusho, Inuyasha, FLCL, Trigun And more. (Although the first episode I saw of Trigun was Love and Peace ^^) "Don't judge a book by it's cover" holds no meaning to mean, so sorry duorocks17. I've never found that saying to be true, whether it be people or animes. What I don't like in an anime's first episode is if it just throws you right in there. There was this one anime, what was it...*thinks*...I believe is was Reign: The Conquerer. (Of course, that show is so freakin' scary I don't consider it an anime ^^; ). Also, Blue Gender didn't have that fantastic of a beginning, so I lost intrest in it very quickly.
22. OOC: This was made after Conna's post, so...imagine this a few hours later, okay? --- IC: Hey, there's lots of dudes in the Meiji Era...have some fun. But don't kill anyone. ^^; ------------- "This really stinks," Katana said, rolling up in her blanket. "Why?" Yuki asked. "Because you guys aren't fun! At least Yuka and I get along with each other!" "Fine, go, see if we care!" Amaya shouted. Katana shrugged and got up. Opening the door, she looked back at the two. "See ya's guys later." "Sheesh, maybe we'll be able to get some sleep *mumble mumble*" said Amaya, settling into her blanket. Yuki rolled her eyes and turned over, soon falling asleep. "Knock knock. Knock, knock." "Yeah?" came Kurumi's sleepy reply. She opened up the door and was met with Katana's top hairs. "Yo," Katana said, walking into the room. The carton of eggnog was on the floor, and Yuka was snuggled deep into her blanket, muttering "Hammer. Giant hammer of doooooommmmm...." Kurumi grinned. "She's funny, huh?" "Yup," Katana replied, sitting down on the floor. The blanket, which was drapped across her shoulders, spread onto the floor in a heap. Kurumi yawned. "Wha'cha doin' in here?" "My roommates are boring as heck," replied Katana, rubbing her eyes. "And after seeing how you can recact with just eggnog, I figured, what the hell, and came by." Kurumi smiled. "Yeah, guess so." The two sat in silence until Katana finally whispered, "You...you think we'll ever be able to get back home?" Kurumi thought. "No," she said softly. "I don't think so." "Great," said Katana, flopping onto the floor. "I don't mind this place, really, but one does miss such things as anime, manga, TV, the internet..." Kurumi rolled her eyes again. "True. But these guys are really nice. And through this, I've met you, Yuka, and all the other guys." "You know, Kit's kinda cute..." "Ack! Katana!" Kurumi exclaimed, punching the girl on the head. She fell over, a large bump on her head. "Well it's true!" "Sure, whatever you say..." ------------------ Woo, Kit! You're the ladies man! ^^
23. Wow. That's pretty spiffy. Curious to know how you made it, although my guess is by computer. You certainly met up to the theme's title though. Swampy sunset, yuppers, I see it. The colors are good and I like how there are shadows...it looks realistic until you see the branches and sun. ^^
24. I seriously hope I don't screw up...:o Name: Mitsu Takata Mentor: Athena, Goddess of Crafts, the Domestic Arts, and War Appearance: Ah yes, bless this site. Minus the guns and I'm a girl, duh. Personality: Mitsu is a supreme tomboy. She doesn't like cutsey stuff and has never been one to wear a dress. Although she acts cool and sometimes humorus, Mitsu is a straight A student (which is someting you wouldn't expect from tomboys). She's been described as a jerk at times, but can also be really nice. In short, is like a double edged sword. Background: Mitsu holds a deep interest in the art of combat. She's trained in various fighting areas, from kendo to martial arts to boxing. She's never had trouble beating guys, whether it be physically or on tests. Mitsu, however, has lived a lonley life. While all of her friends are guys, none of them are anywhere near the romantic type. Her parents work all the time and has no siblings. Mitsu covers up these feelings and memories by creating a humorus shell with her friends. She attends a public high school and can be found usually in the office for beating up somebody for her friends, which disappoints the principal, since Mitsu's a good student. ------------- There, I tried my best. Hope it's okay.
25. Ah God...yeah, eggnog.... ------------------- "Well, that was quite an...interesting...party, that it was," said Kenshin as he picked up some wrapping paper. "Yeah," replied Kit, "Who knew Kurumi could get drunk? And with eggnog?" "Who knew that a sane soul on this planet liked eggnog?" Katana added. "Course, we now know Kurumi isn't that sane." The three laughed as Kurumi walked in, her hand up to her head. "Agh...it's like I have a bad headache or something..." "Probably a hangover," said Yuka, who was lying on the stage. "HEY! GET BACK TO WORK IDIOT!" Yahiko yelled in her ear. "YOU WANNA SAY THAT AGAIN RAT?" "GET BACK TO WORK YOU STIKIN' IDIOT!" The two started fighting as they had so many times before. Everyone just laughed nervously and went back to work. "Christmas...what an interesting celebration," said Kaoru. "You future people have a lot of neat traditions." "It's not a tradition!" said Kit, who seemed still hyper on the subject of Christmas. "It's a HOLIDAY!" "Yes, that's nice..." said Kaoru. "By the way," said Sanouske, who just walked into the room, "We're going back to Tokyo tommorrow." (Remeber, we're in Kyoto!) "Ah nuts," said Kaz, "I was getting used to this place..." "We've only been here three days!" said Katana, waving her arms around. "That's enough time for me to get used to something, okay?" -------------- Heh, short post. When we leave to go back to Tokyo, the train ride is gonna be fun. *remembers the episode with Sano and the train and laughs*
