1. Holy ***t you are good. I thought that was a real photograph until I read that you drew it! Amazing! *claps until hands are scarlet* A month, you say? Yes yes, I certainly believe it. ^^ Excellent! Beyond words, my Ninja friend. ^^ Something over a trillion/10
2. :bow: Thank you, thank you, thanks all around. You may not know it, but I get totally embarassed when people are [strike]over[/strike]enthusiastic about the stuff I make. Me be happy. ^.^;; As the sucject title says, the theme for this moment is Golden Sun, with the character being Sheba! I plan on doing a few more like these, so if you like the GS games, stay tuned! :D Grid Sheba: I figured out how to make grids! Yay! *sweatdrop* Bronze Sheba: I'd also like to note that all of these banners can be used by you here at the boards, except those with names on them (duh). Also, please give me credit if you do. ^^
3. I don't mean to be rude, but I believe I've seen those images before...and all you did was cut it to normal banner size and added the text... Despite that, those are pretty good, not bad for a newbie. ^^
4. I don't mind. You can have it. ^^ Inspired by .h4ck, I made a DN Angel banner...I think. ^^; I liked the imaged a lot, so I just erased the background and pasted it on. Yah! And with the bright backgrounds...alllll of the backgrounds I have ever made come from me and the paintbrushes. And I like the bright colors because everything else here seemed to be so...depressing... Banner in sig: Banner I made a few weeks ago for Artemis. ^^ She wanted a warrior girl banner, so I chose these two images. I thought they were really cool. The only problem was the second image didn't show the sword when it was at a decent size, so I split both of the images in half. The result: Dum dum dum dum!!! ^^;;
5. Eh...I know it'd be better to keep my mouth shut, but... To look at the topic at hand, you have to take it really broadly. You can't just state your opinion and say "because theyr'e better" and leave it at that. No one is superior. I guess you could also look at the subject from a different view. The gender thing is kind of like two things on the boards: Otaku Idol and graphic artists. With the Otaku Idol, just because a certain person won dosen't mean their better. It just means the bribbed the people. Just kidding, color guard! ^^ For banner makers, if you looked at two people's banners that they made and the person the b.ms. made them for chooses one, that doesn't mean he or she is better. It just means that that person chose the style the requester liked. (I hope that made sense.) Okay, now on to RANTS! Woo! *coughs* I am a total feminist....by this, I don't mean women are better,[strike]even though they are[/strike] I mean that I fight for a female's rights, that's all. Who says we can't fight? Say that to my face please and say hello to my right fist...or my knee...or my elbow...or my head... Women also are the source of life. Guys, if we were to all die out, you'd probably die in....*thinks* twenty years or so, maybe more, maybe less. Females do practiclly all the basic jobs for men (cooking, etc). In fifth grade, we had these journals to write in. And everyday we were given a subject to write about. One was "what do you think of the opposite gender?" Of course, being me, I went on and on about how boys are lazy. ^^;; When we told the class what we thought, one boy said that women are "only good for cooking and cleaning and serving us (men)". Oh hoho, he went into uncharted territory there. All the girls rose up against him and the few boys defending him. It was great. One guy, who is really nice, flat out said that girls are better than guys. All the girls clapped for him, a few of us cheered. End of story. :D
6. I have TONS of nicknames...most of them come from my overactive imagination when it comes to thinking up characters for an anime. Well, it's not just me. It's me and three of my friends. ^^ Although I have the most nicknames out of us all, together we have roughly 40 or so. o_O Scary. Okay, so my most popular ones are... Katana - Wow, aren't I obvious. ^^ For some reason it's my favorite name...I really like it. It just came out of nowhere; my friend sent me a link to a Japanese name website and I picked Katana (it's a sword for all you people who don't know). It's also my Inuyasha/Rurouni Kenshin/Otaku Boards name. *gasps* GASP! No way! ^^ Nami - I got this from another website my same friend sent me, but this time it had tons more names. I was into Golden Sun at the time, so I picked Nami, which means wave. I use Nami the most for RPGs here because I can't think of a better name. Yeah, if all else fails, write down Nami. Used for: Yu Yu Hakusho/Trigun/Lotsa RPGs. :D*sweatdrop* Number 6 - Ah yes...where to begin...Okay. *puts on British accent* I am Number 6 of the Otaku Agency, offical founder of the Otaku Agency, first one to join, youngest of the seventh grade agents (we have 10 agents; Number 7's in sixth grade), and blah blah blah. ^^; I really like this name, it's so cool. Last year, me and 3 just called each other by these names. Simply saying "Hey 3!" or "What's up 6?" got our full attention. It's just that the poor saps arounds us didn't know what the hell we were talking about. *grins mischeviously* My fourth and final most-used nickname would have to be Human Dictionary. This is mainly a nickname used by my friend Monica (aka Iva (here), Number 1). She's a horrible speller and doesn't know the meanings of words that are supposivly uncommon but I find them usual. Eh...Yeah, pretty much, I know a lot of words' meanings, even though I HATE dictionarys.
7. WOW! :eek: I HAVE GOOD REVIEWS! Well, the FB one is suppossed to be like that...I wanted to tell the difference between the three guys and the girl...uhh.... Hehe, most of these banners are from my [strike]earlier[/strike] days of PSP, so I didn't know very much, and to tell the truth, I added the text in Paint because I couldn't figure it out in PSP. :sweat: The last one? I thought the font was good, but the steps were: 1.) Get image. Split them so that I can have space in the center. 2.) Erase the stuff around the images. What was that? I CAN'T CROP!!! *gasp* 3.) Add color. 4.) Go to Up In Smoke. Put cursor over thumbnail. Read the text, which shows Vash's "name". Write down name. ^^ 5.) Copy and past to Paint and add text. 6.) Save and show to people. Read Haze's "whoa" post. ^^;; I thought this would be fun....here's a banner I made for Hacker Kite in PAINT! That's right, Paint. It was horrible. I had to cut the images at once, I couldn't do it bit by bit.... It's bad...really bad... :bawl: And now, the improved version! ^^ Okay, so the bottom text needs to be changed, but it's quite the improvment, neh? ^_~ Thanks for posting! I realllllllllllllll *five days later* llllllly appreciated it! [strike]PS: I'm on an extreme caffeine high. I'm very hyper.[/strike]
8. I've been forbidding myself to post for awhile...I've posted waaayyyy too much... ----------------------------- Nami hopped around in a circle, struggling to put on a sock. "And they think - grunt - that they - moan - can just leave without me?" She suceeded with the sock but fell to the ground with an "oof!" Nami jumped back up and stuffed an apple in her mouth, buttoned up the long overcoat, and ran out the door. Sheer moments later, she returned and grabbed the sunglasses. "Hey sir," she said to the inn keeper. "When does the bus to New Augusta leave?" "Uh...I'd say about two minutes or so...?" He watched as Nami half ran, half hopped out the door, struggling to yet again put something on, this time a boot. "Wait!" she yelled out to the busdriver. He looked at her. She ran fast, tripped once, then got up again. "Please wait dude!" "If you have $$60, you can get on," he said, "Otherwise, get lost punk." Nami stuck her tongue out at him and searched her pockets. Lint...nope...some leaves...nah...ahhhh...here we go! She counted out the money and shoved it in the man's hand. He grunted as Nami jumped-hopped onto the bus. "Hey," she said to Minami, and held back the urge to say, "It's the anger management lady again." Minami looked up at the child. "Oh yeah, it's you..." was all she said, then looked out the window. Nami shrugged, then sat in a seat two rows ahead of Minami and the new man, Clyde. Only Mason knows that I'm the Stampede's kin, so I'm not in too much trouble...he seems like the type not to tell secrets. I hope. She looked out the window and saw three men, Marcus, Mason, and Gate, running towards the bus station, yelling. She grinned and fell back into her seat, then fell asleep. Hope they have the decency to tell me when they get there...
9. Third and final time...last time...I am making a banner thread...*insert readers sweatdropping here* Like the title says, I make all my banners in Paint Shop Pro 8. I downloaded Photoshop once and was extremly confused. :sleep: My banners (so far), in all their glory *random person laughs* HEY! GET BACK HERE! *runs after (insert name here)* Fruits Basket: (requested by stun gun Milly) Three background guys are affected with sepia tone. Knives: (JoyKaiba asked me to make this for her brother) Vash: (feeling happy and messing around with random happy-Vash images, which ended up being for my bud, .h4ck) Jenna: (GS: The Lost Age; made for fun) I wanted to add "I can only go to a world that exceeds expectations", but I couldn't find a good font color. FLCL: Various White Haired Dudes: (for Azure_Skies) Zero and Bakunetsumaru: (requested but never used...) Vash and Wolfwood: (made out of complete fun) Wah, I forgot to put "the 3rd"...
10. Dude, that seriously looks like absolutly no effort went into the pic. I could've made that in three minutes. Um...I don't know what else to say, other than did you think of different characterzation besides different colors? Try and stretch your creativity. ...I dunno what to rate that as...
11. I made this thing up a while ago and have yet to finish it. While it's on its fifth page, I haven't even gone past 3 hours (in the fic's time). This thing was basiclly a spar-of-the-moment type. I was bored and wanted to write a story involving me and my friends in Tokyo, Japan. All of the names are either our nicknames (such as Nami, Iva, and Tani), while others are some that I got from the internet as meaningful Japanese names, such as Leiko and Surudoi. One part I got from FLCL (well, the 'life is pretty slow' thing) and I was going to submit this to a website as a Digimon fic, but I might change it. Ah well, here it is. Note: The band thing has not come into effect yet. *sweatdrop* Shrimp Sushi - - - - - - Hey all! Nice title, eh? I like it too! I created this as one of those spar-of-the-moment thingies. The characters in the story are all of my close friends (and me! Don?t forget me!). Two of them Otakus, one of them better with manga than anime (even though she?s married to Krim?), and another one who knows who Kuroneko-sama is. I?ve created mini-bios of them all, just so you know the basic facts. Name: Nami Gender: Female Age: 12 Band: Oboe for concert and bells for marching Anime/Manga Obsession: Hard-core Otaku Attitude: Tough but fun. Mostly sarcastic. Name: Iva Gender: Female Age: 13 Band: Bells for concert and drum major for marching Anime/Manga Obsession: Middle-class Otaku Attitude: Religious. Outgoing and fun. Name: Surudoi Gender: Female Age: 13 Band: Flute for concert and piccolo for marching Anime/Manga Obsession: None, although she knows who Kuro Neko-sama is. Attitude: Smart. Has a nice and funny personality. Name: Tani Gender: Female Age: 13 Band: French horn all the time Anime/Manga Obsession: Hard-core Otaku Attitude: A nut. Can make a joke out of anything. Name: Leiko Gender: Female Age: 12 Band: Trumpet for concert and drums for marching Anime/Manga Obsession: Otaku in training Attitude: Extremely hyper. Enough said. ?Today?s lunch will be shrimp sushi, ramen, applesauce, carrot sticks and milk. Have a nice day.? Click! Murmurs spread throughout the classroom, mostly idle chit-chat on things such as last night?s basketball game or some new guy that the preps all adored. A young teen sighed, tapping her pencil tip on the table she sat at with her friend. Shishiwasu Junior High, a public middle school in Tokyo, Japan. Most students would describe the place as uneventful, boring. It was a fact, though the faculty would never admit it. In a place like this, life is pretty slow. ?Thank God tomorrow?s Saturday,? said the young girl, slouching back into her chair. Her friend sitting next to her made an annoyed grumble. ?Sorry, gosh. Sheesh Iva, get a grip.? Iva sighed. ?You know as well as I do that it?s not good to say the name of God in vain.? ?Uh-huh. Just?just give it a rest for once, okay?? Iva rolled her eyes, then hunched over her sketchbook. ?Wha?cha drawing?? ?Picture of me in the Outcast Rebellion.? ?Hey, did you notice that it seems to be just me, you, and that Evean dude posting now? Oh, and Mori-Sora?? ?Rann posts too, Nami.? ?Yeah, but it?s really just us four. Rann and Reena post sometimes, while Tani doesn?t post at all anymore. She says she?s busy.? ?Well yeah, and then there?s those two others?uh, the goblin dude and the half-elf girl.? ?Uh-huh. And then that mermaid person doesn?t post anymore.? ?How do you pronounce her name? I say Phadra.? ?I call her Phadrea in my head, although it?s spelled P-H-E-D-R-E-A.? ?Yeah guess so.? The two broke out in laughter as they remembered Iva?s signature on the message boards. ?I am sorry for al of thee mispellingz in my poostz,? said Iva, rolling with laughter. ?And then, Random Friend who is spelling this part: She did that on purpose,? replied Nami, laughing like crazy. ?Then, Iva: I ded?? The two started howling with laughter, Nami softly banging her fist on the table. ?R-r F-f?sweatdrop?? ?What?s so funny?? asked the girl sitting across from Nami. ?Oh?nothin?, Surudoi. Just an inside joke.? ?Ah-ha,? replied Surudoi. ?You two are weird.? ?Yeah,? said Nami. ?And we take pride in that,? finished off Iva. Surudoi laughed. ?Hey Nam, can I look at your sketchbook?? Nami quickly snatched up the drawing pad from the table. ?No.? ?How come?? ?Er?just don?t want you to. But on second thought?? Nami flipped through her sketch pad, hiding each and every mess-up picture from both Iva and Surudoi. ?Here, look at this.? Nami handed the book to Surudoi. ?Hey, it?s Kuro Nako-sama!? she exclaimed, laughing. Nami grinned. ?Yeah, thought you?d like that picture.? * * * * * * The bell rang, echoing throughout the building of Shishiwasu, signifying the end of second period and the beginning of a three-minute passing period. Nami quickly snatched up her paper folder, her sketchbook, and her pencil and headed towards her locker. ?Hey Nami,? said her friend, Tani. ?Yo. See ya in a few minutes.? ?38?12?9.? Nami unhooked her lock, slid it back into position, then grabbed her small Spanish paperback. She swiftly latched her lock back into place. Teachers protrolling the halls (aka, wasting time), would inspect lockers and if your lock was unlocked, then they?d lock them backwards, so you?d have to flip them up and to the side to do your code. It was an annoying and useless waste of time for students, but something to do to irk kids for teachers. Nami raced down the hallway to catch up to Tani, who was chatting to Leiko. Surudoi was right behind them, as was Iva. Nami slowed her run down to a jog, then to a walk-run and stopped next to Surudoi. Her friend smiled. ?Ready for another riveting day in the exciting world of the Spanish language?? Nami shrugged. ?Guess so. Nothin? else to do third period, is there?? ?Guess not.? They remembered the time when two of their friends, Yasashiku and Haya, had accidentally went to Spanish second period instead of third. It was during the first few days of school, so mistakes were quite common, although Surudoi and Nami, or even Iva and Leiko for that matter hadn?t made one at all. The same couldn?t be said for Tani, who once went to Nami?s fourth period Japanese (the equivalent of English) class instead of sixth period Science class, which was after fifth period lunch. The schedules each student received were confusing at times, for the period one had lunch wouldn?t be shown, and since it listed every quarter?s encore class, the concept of what-do-you-have-now, gym or graphic design, was another common mistake. The five began to jog; fore they all felt the bell was going to ring. They made it to the Spanish room, which had been the chorus room last year, and dropped their materials on their assigned desks. As luck would have it, the five sat near each other. They all sat in the front of the class, but the desks in the room were sideways to the chalkboards. Nami was on the left, with Iva behind her, while Surudoi was up and diagonal to the right of Nami, with Tani behind her and Leiko behind Tani. So there was easy access to talking, although the teacher, Mrs. Caffera, wasn?t too happy about it. The five weren?t bad students; in fact, they were some of the few acing Spanish. They were just social people. ?Buenos dias,? Mrs. Caffera said, and (not all of) the class chorused back, ?Buenos dias.? She then looked at the people who hadn?t said a word. ?I think we know what that means by now,? she said. ?Zeros.? There was an obvious groan from the people who hadn?t spoken who now wished they had. ?Today,? said Mrs. Caffera, ?We?ll be working on our Spanish flag packet. I hope you all remembered to bring them. Nami took hers out, flipping through the pages of half finished questions, stopping at the page next to the last. Starting at the flag in the left hand corner and glancing up at the flags hanging from the ceiling, Nami took out her blue highlighter and began to color in the flag. ?Hey Nam,? said Iva, tapping her friend on the shoulder, ?You have a blue I can borrow?? ?Highlighter or normal?? ?Normal.? ?Yup.? ?Thanks.? Iva grasped the blue marker, making sure Nami had released her grip, then uncapped the marker and began to outline the blue sections in the Dominican Republic?s flag. A murmuring silence blanketed the classroom, with the casual capping of markers, the scratching of both normal and colored pencils jotting down quick notes or fixing a mistake. Sometimes people would talk, but not for long. The class was working in an absent-minded state of silence. Nami finished the flag of Uruguay, capping her blue highlighter and placing it in the pencil grove on her desk. Flipping towards the questions in the packet, Surudoi turned around and talked to Tani. ?You have a red I can borrow?? ?No,? replied Tani, ?Sorry. I?m borrowin? most of my stuff from Nami and Leiko.? ?How about a blue?? ?Uh-uh.? ?Yellow?? ?Nope.? ?Orange?? Tani looked up in sarcastic rage. ?What makes you think I?ll let you borrow my orange marker, you orange marker asker!? The two burst out in laughter, which was silenced by a ?shut-up? glance from Mrs. Caffera. Wha'cha think?
12. After reading a lot of these posts, I think most of you misunderstood my point. You really made it bad by comparing some real kiddie cartoon to stuff like Cowboy Bebop. Really, that's a huge age difference. When I said adults, I mean more along the lines of parents. And mostly ones older than 35 or so. My parents, mainly my mom who was born in the 50s (and I'm only twelve...~_~) think that anime is sorta like a drool monkey - just crap, really. Eh.
13. Um...that made me extremley confused.... ---------- What should I tell him? A lie? ...Well, I've done that before, and I can do it again. "Well, you see," Nami started in a normal voice, "He's my dad, right? And his name is...er...Ericks! Yeah, that's it." Mason looked at the girl questionably. "That's it?" He sighed. "I thought there was more to it than that." Vash flopped around, having trouble keeping his balance. Nami ran over to him. "God dad, how much'd you drink?" she whispered. He looked at her, grinning in his idiotic drunk way. "Abouyt theis manny," he said, slurring and slopping out his words. He held up a limp hand. "Oh man...you went for the hard stuff, didn't ya?" "Course I did! You know the Legendary Gunman can handle anyth-" Nami quickly covered her father's mouth. Dammit dad! You had to do that, didn't you? "What the...what did the fool just say?" Mason asked, coming closer to the girl and the drunk curiously. The sand crunched under his feet as he walked. "Nothin'!" Nami said nervously, trying to think up something to say. "He didn't say anything! Not a thing!" "Oh really?" Mason asked slyly. He stopped and peered at Vash, clinging on to Nami. "He looks kinda pathetic." Pathetic? He could blast your head off if he wanted to..man, if only I was as good as my dad... Mason then cocked his rifel and aimed it at Vash, the barrel ramming into his cheek. "I have a feeling you're not telling the full truth missy," he said, his voice slightly raspy. "Lie again and..well, you get it, right?" Nami started shaking in fear. This man could do it, he could definetly kill Vash the Stampede right here and now. But...the truth would blow everything she had lied about so far. Was it truly worth it?" "Al-alright," said Nami firmly, her hands shaking. "If you wish to know who I am..." Okay...here we go... "This man is-is V-Va-Vash. The Stampede. And I....well, I'm his daughter." Wow, I did it. Amazing.
14. I made this in Paint...you know, you can do a lot in that program as long as its not banner making. ^^ Based off me and how I feel about popular people.
15. "Hey!" called the man. "Wait!" Nami turned around. "Why? What do you want with me?" The man stopped. His four foot long gun was now down to the size of a long rifel. He looked down at the short figure clad in red. "How...why..." "What? Come on, out with it!" "You're not the Stampede. And yet...how'd you get his coat?" Nami shuffled her foot against the dirt. What should I say? She thought to herself. And not blow my cover...? "Well, you see, I, uh, em, uhh..." "You mind speeding it up?" the man asked. Nami looked up at him. "If I was to tell you, you wouldn't believe me," she said. He gave her a questioning look. "And why do you say that? Weird things happen on this planet all the time kid. That's how its been since time began." "Well, the truth is that, if I was to tell you, well..." There was a loud crash. Both Nami and Mason snapped their attention to where it had come from. The bar. Out staggered a tall man clad in blue and white, his blonde-gold hair dropping over his face. Not to mention a green and red stripped headband across his forehead. "Oh no..." Nami muttered, clapping her hand to her face. Mason looked from the drunk to the girl, on the verge of confusion. "Hey!" he called out (unknowingly) to Vash. "You alright there?" "Yeah," Vash replied, staggering around in his drunk dance, "I'm fine." "Oh Dad..." Nami said outloud. Mason looked at her. "Dad? You mean that fool of a drunk is your father?" "Yeah," she replied miserbly. "And there's more to it then that."
16. Tsukasa_hack, I seriously had to bite my hand at that one part with the poster. ^^ *looks at hand* Yeow. Deep marks.. ------- (Dream) "What the...where am I? Am I dead? Nah, can't be... But how am I flying? Or at least, floating...?" There's that man. That...dude. From the bar. The one that almost killed the bartender... (End Dream) The sound of yells echoed throughout the inn. Nami opened her eyes, unwilling to do so. She heard the yells again and fell down onto the floor. "Second time today, geez...must be something wrong with me..." Nami straightened out her father's jacket and cocked her pistol. Before leaving the room, she slipped on the infamous sunglasses of the Stampede. Out in the hallway was somebody else. A guy with a guitar. "Hey!" he said to her. "You're that kid from the bar, right? You heard the noise too?" "Hard to miss, really. It woke me up." "I'm Gate, by the way," he said, running to the end of the hallway. He shoved open the stairwell's door and went. "Okay. Fine. Er...Gate," said Nami, running after the man. Did he not notice I'm wearing dad's glasses? I didn't wear them in the bar... "H-help! Get him away from me! Anybody!" cried the inn keeper. Gate pushed open the stairwell door and flipped out his guitar. "What do you want?" the man asked, his long gun aimed now at Gate. "Get away from him," Gate half spoke, half growled. Nami ran down the stairs, her feet barely having time to apply their full weight to the stone. She tripped on the last step and crashed into the door, opening it. "Hmm?" the man with the four foot gun said. His eyes peered at the meek figure behind Gate. Realizing who it was, he (somehow) shifted his gun to aim at Vash (or so he thought). "W-wait!" Nami said in a gasp, standing up. "Just...wait!" ------------------------- Side note: When DBD asked me to change my character's age, that's all I did. I forgot to change the height and stuff, so she's not so short. ^^;
17. My favorite genere is humor. I can't watch an anime that has (example) a goth theme or something to it. They're no fun and I'll lose intrest in probably five seconds. Also, like what Ayokano said, I don't like animes that repeat themselves over and over again. That's why I was happy when Gohan beat Cell and not Goku. That was a happy moment. ^^ The one thing I cannot stand: MAIN CHARACTERS! Okay, what I mean by this is that there's one character who will always come in to save the day, one character who is always the best, and one character that all the good stuff happens to. I like it better when there are more main characters and not just one. Those dudes drives me CRAZY! Like I said earlier, humor is what I look for. And sometimes action. But I don't like it when there are fifteen minute fight sceens that could've been done in two minutes. The very last thing I don't like is that usually, the main character is a guy. :mad: It's just so obnoxious how the characters repeat themselves, like in every episode they try and get the same girl but fail miserbly. It seems that in the world of anime, guys can do everything and girl's can't. *walks away steaming*
18. I think this is it for me. Just hope dad doesn't leave town soon...but if he does, I'll find him again. With a smirk, Nami slid off the barstool and walked into the night. The sky was a navy blue dotted with silver stars. The air was crisp and cool. "I wonder what happened to that other dude," Nami wondered to herself. She later shrugged and walked to the inn. "Excuse me, sir," she said to the man behind the counter. He looked up at her. "Yes?" "Do you have any vacant rooms?" "Of course we do. Don't get many travelers around these parts anymore." He shuffled some papers and turned around to get a key. "Every since the old July got terminated, people avoid this area. Think it brings bad luck or sommin'." He handed her the key. "Yeah," Nami said, half listeining. She tucked the key in pocket. "Um, sir...I hope don't intrude on anything, but would you mind telling me if a man dressed in blue and white is staying here?" "Hmm? Well...I suppose I can tell you. There's nobody special staying here as far as I can tell. Um...let's see..." He fingered through some papers, then drew out one. "Er...this young man did. Called himself Ericks." Oh yeah. Dad's notorious undercover name. Almost forgot about that... "Do you know what room he's staying in?" "Of course I do, I'm not an idiot. Uhum....room 9. Anything else?" "No, thanks," replied Nami a tad nervously. The man was getting agitated, something she was used to from her mother. For an old geezer, he has a good memory. And there's not much doubt it's dad; he's the only one who'd call himself such a stupid name... She looked at the key in her pocket. On it, in black marker, was the number 20. Nami flopped down on the bed and sighed. The evening had gone rather smoothly compared to other times Vash had been in a place. Okay, so there was the fight between the drunk and the guitar man, and I did get hit in the head, which I'll have to punch that guy for, and I did fall down and crack the floor...but other then that, tonight was alright! She looked at the clock on the wall. 1:34 am. "Geezus....I'd better get some sleep."
19. To be honest with you, I never noticed that there was blue on the left-most Gohan...I think it's because when I used the sepia tone, it might've faded the picture a bit. ^^ And the hand thing is the end of the wallpaper. ^^;;
20. "Oh dad..." Nami mumbled through wood. She heaved herself up and turned up the barstool. She sat down, patting dust off the trenchcoat. "Do you know Vash the Stampede?" asked the women. "Personally?" "Of course I do!" Vash called out. He went on babbling about various things describing himself. He's cool, my dad. But stupid too. Nami stared down at her coffee cup and noticed it was empty. "Hey!" she said to the bartender, "Can ya fill me up?" He nodded and brought over the pot. As he poured in the coffee, Nami noticed yet another person, this time looking at her. "Do you want something?" she asked. He blinked, then slowly raised an eyebrow. "Why'd you ask?" he replied. He took a swig of his drink. "Because you were looking at me." "Kid," he asked, "Would you happen to know anything about Vash the Stampede?" He moved closer to Nami. "Yeah," she said, growing nervous. What does he want? "You're useless!" said the women's voice. Nami and the man broke eye contact and looked at her. Vash was on the ground, using his puppy dog face to try and win over the women. It didn't work. She sighed and sat down at a table. Vash scrambled into a seat across from her. I can't believe he hasn't yet recongnized his own coat...
21. Man, that person definetly has some mood problems or something. Why does everyone wanna see dad? Is there something so great about him that everyone needs to see? "Tell me what you know," repeated the women, "About Vash the Stampede." Nami turned her head to the side and focused her eyes on where the voice had come from. It was a women, or at least Nami thought it was. Gliding her eyes to the person the women was yelling at, Nami saw him. D-dad... Vash looked at the women. "What I know about Vash the Stampede? Well..." Nami raised an eyebrow. What was her semi-idiotic father going to say? "He's a seeker of peace!" said Vash, getting into his mode. "And an excellent shot! Good looking too!" "A...a...ah..." Nami absentmindly fell down, her head cracking the wood floor. Why, why...
22. I'm obsessed with Gohan...especially the 11 year old, SSJ one. Uh...*cough cough* I made this wallpaper for a webstie named Golden Son. It's a Gohan shrine. :D Anyways, this thing took me about an hour. I don't know if anybody knows, but I can't crop pics, I used that eraser tool. And there was plently to erase in these pictures, and I had to adjust the size because it was a wallpaper. I made both 1027x768 and 800x600, though I prefer 800x600. ...Because the image size is too large, I had to host them on a website, so here they are. WARNING: MIGHT BE LARGE DOWNLOAD SIZE. 1027x768 800x600
23. Hehe, that's hilarious! I really like your avi...and the fact that the images are of very high quality is great. The quote is fitting too. The only problem I have is that the image of Miroku on the left is kinda blury and not that fantastic. But other than that, the banner and avi are awesome! ^^ 8.5/10
24. Sounds like fun. And I'm fufilling your request. ^^ ---- Name: Shoga Manamasa Age: 15 Gender: Female Side: Evil. BUWAHAHA! While one wouldn't know she was evil, Shoga actually is a dark descendent. Hiding her powers from her parents who were with hunters, Shoga expreimented with her abilities. One day, a few months after her fourtenth birthday, Shoga's mother caught her making water from thin air. Seeing this, Shoga froze her and ran away with few possions. Weapons: Crystal sword (sword in pic) and a dagger with a shiny surface. Magic Powers: First off, has control of the elemment of Mercury, water and ice. Okay Guard - A cerulean sheid that can be held up for five minutes. While it is useful, it takes up a costly amount of energy. Frost - The ability to freeze things/make snow. Is strongest in the winter and becomes more powerful as time goes on. Ply - Growing up in a village of anti-magic, Shoga learned the vaules of religion. Ply comes from ones holy self as the ability to heal. Breath - A very letheal attack, Shoga uses it on unconcious beings. It takes away whatever life force they have left. But doing so can make her blackout, so it is used quite rarely. Deception - An agility attack that creates multiple images of Shoga. Can last for around 20 seconds. While Shoga may seem to be good, she isn't. Trust me. ^^
25. Two people sat at a booth across from Nami. She sipped on her coffee, unaware of how old it tasted. Her mind was focused on the strangers. There was a breif moment where Nami wasn't looking at the two people; she was looking at the saloon door. In came a tall man, a brown trenchcoat trailing behind with is walk. Nami quickly focused her attention back to the other two as he sat down two stools away from her. "Beer," he said. The bartender nodded and brought back the man a mug of the alcohol. The man took a swig. "Its good," he said, seemingly to no one. That dude's weird. He seems nice though. Again, Nami focused her mind on the two. They seemed to be discussing something. They stopped as a waitress came and handed them their drinks, then continued when she left. "And they're odd too," Nami mumbled quietly to herself. "Hmmm?" asked the man (Clyde). Startled, she looked at him. "What? I - I didn't say anything..." He merley shrugged and went back to his beer. Sighing, Nami then realized how bad her coffee tasted. "Cream!" she called to the bartender. "And sugar! Lots and lots of sugar!"
