Fortunately, I haven't had a bad hair cut; but my hair is totally unruly. It never stays in one place. I have stray hairs all around all the time. It sucks. I have to use alot of product to make it stay, but even then, it dosen't stay very well. It's stick straight too, so it dosen't hold curls very well. When I do curl my hair, I use practically the whole can of hairspray. I guess my current hair cut is pretty good. It is to my shoulders and I have the long bangs in the front. It's just a little too short to put into a nice neat bun. I need to get it trimmed though, I'm getting split ends... I really want to get purple tips on my hair. I've never dyed my hair, so I'll just have to see how that works out.

I think you'd like Avenged Sevenfold. They're pretty good. Dark lyrics and really good musicianship. Their album Waking the fallen is good, but Sounding the Seventh Trumpet is good as well. For the Cure, you could get the album Galore and get a mish-mash of a good number of their singles.

Many people view Evanescence as a gothic band because Amy Lee, their lead singer for all of you uninformed people out there, tends to borrow fashion ideas from the gothic subculture. Personally, I think the way she dresses is totally wonderful. Corsets and the like, just totally awesome. I've even heard that she makes her own clothes. But how the band looks does not determine what genre of music a band goes under. But yeah, Evanescence is not a goth band, eventhough Amy Lee looks like a goth. I know absolutely nothing about black nor goth metal, I can't tell the difference between the two very well or even name several bands in the genres. However, I know alot of gothic rock like Bauhaus, Joy Division and Siouxsie and the Banshees. (Which, in my opnion, are some of the *best* bands out there.) Oh yes, Lava Lamp, wonderful sarcasm.

I have nothing against Drag Queens. I have never seen a drag queen in real life but I think they'd be pretty intresting to watch. I believe the term for a woman dressing as a man is drag king, but I'm not one hundred percent sure.

I am from Orange County California, born and raised. I have lived in the same boring town, on the same boring street in the same boring(and too small) house for my entire life. I am a 14 year old girl. Yes, I am a girl. GIRL DARN IT!!!! My birthday is Feburary 14th, Valentines day(aquarius). I was born in the year of the horse(neigh). As for a job... I exercise my trainer's horses once a week. And other than that, my job is to be a good student. I love to do alot of things with my free time(outside of the internet). I enjoy playing the violin, sleeping, reading, dancing, doing crafty things like sewing, crocheting, jewelry-making ect., listening to music, playing around with my tarot cards and writing in my journal.

I am afraid of deep water (like 20 feet plus or just really murky) too. I am totally afraid of snorkeling in deep water when we go out in our boat. It's like somthing is going to get me. ^_^;; I also have a totally irrational fear of corpses. Just dead decaying bodies. I'm afraid that they're going to wake up and grab me or somthing. Like zombies. I think this might be because I saw Poltergeist when I was about 6 or 7. :shudders: I have never had a problem with clowns or small spaces. I actually love to hide in my closet and think. ^_^;;

There are quite a few amusement parks near my house; Disneyland/California Adventure, Knott's Berry farm and Six Flags. Disneyland/California Adventure is about 15 minutes from my house. Its quite fun to go to, but it can get boring after the 25 time in a year. My family had passes a year or so ago. I'd go with my friend, who also had a pass, and we'd run around the park by ourselves untill midnight. But we just didn't renew our passes. Now, i'll go with my friend, whoes mom works there and gets me in for free. ^_^ My favorite ride at Disneyland is Space Mountian, but thats closed for renovation right now. At California Adventure, I love the california screaming rollercoaster. Last summer, I remember going on it several times with my friend and doing a different pose each time we went on. Knott's Berry Farm, or Knott's as many people call it, is my favorite amusement park. Its theme is kinda american, one area of the park is old west, another is like 50's, another is like Mexican, another is camp snoopy and another is like 20's hollywood. It's mostly old west though. Knotts is really popular for school field trips. My old school's orchestra would go there to play for the musical showcase. We'd play for mabey a half an hour and then run around the park for five. The eigth grade trip for my old school also goes there. It was alot of fun. They do all sorts of educational tours too. When I was in the fourth grade, we went on a tour to learn about mining and old west California. This year, we went for a "physics of rides" lesson. My favorite ride there is Montezooma's Revenge (yes it's spelled like that.) You go foreward and through a loop, up this incline and then you do it backwards. It's really fun. Another one of my favorite rides there is Wipeout. Its like this roulette wheel and it spins around and around and then it tips so it's at this angle. You spin and spin and spin... I always get a headache when I go on it. I love it, ^_^ I've never actually been to the Six Flags here. Its about an hour away. Mabey I should plan on going there someday. ^_^

Do your parents make you do everything!?
instantramen14 replied to mononoke_man's topic in General Discussion
I don't think my parents are unfair in the chore-handing-out department. I realise that my sister is younger and dumber, therefore less capable of doing the chores. xD We have basically the same chores; every other day so one day i'll have clean the kitchen and my sister cleans the bathroom and then the next day, i'll have clean the bathroom and clean the kitchen. Sometimes i'm expected to to a little bit of a better job, and i'm asked to do things that my sister cant quite do right. It bothers me a little, but not that much. However, one thing that really bothers me is when I do my chores, and my sister dosen't. I find that to be really unfair, because I did my job and my sister didn't. Another is when my parents ask me to do somthing for my sister that she is perfectly capable of. I don't find the chore load to be unfair either. They barely ask me to do anything, just clean the kitchen and clean the bathroom on alternating days. I also have to make dinner three days a week during the summer. I find that fair because i'm at home doing nothing anyways, so why not just make dinner. We have a cleaning lady, that comes once a week, to to all the other stuff. -

I have this strange fear of corpses. I absoultely *can not* go to open caket funerals because i'll just start to freak out. I have no clue why though. I've just always been jumpy when going by cemetaries and funeral homes. Its just kinda irrational I guess. I got a tad bit freaked out with all the stuff with Regan's coffin on the tv. ^_^;;

Summertime and the living get's lazy
instantramen14 replied to Doukeshi's topic in General Discussion
This summer I'm going to be really busy. It's probably going to be the busiest summer I have ever had. I'm going to go to summer school for a couple weeks. I have to take research and technology. I'm going to go to music camp for a week this summer too. Then, I know I'm going to spend atleast a week at both of my grandmother's houses. I'm probably going to spend alot more time at the stable and going to horseshows. I might go to pony club camp too. Hopefully, I'll have plenty of days to sleep in. -
Kate blinked and came back to her senses. "Oh, i'm sorry!" she said as she shook his hand, "I've been kinda scatterbrained lately. It always takes me a while to get used to a new schedule." She smiled. "I'm sorry for staring at you during dinner last night, I just zoned out," she said as her cheeks flushed pink. "No problem," said Elliot, smiling back. "So this is Koral? She's very pretty. I would have brought an owl, but I brought my cat, Callie." she said. Koral hooted softly. Kate reached out to stroke her back and clucked softly under her breath. Elliot looked at her strangely. For the second time in several minutes, Kate came back to her senses. "I did it again didn't I?" she said, laughing nervously. "Yeah," he said, laughing as well. And he kept on laughing. And laughing. And laughing. "Um.... Are you okay?" she asked concerned. Elliot put up his finger, telling her to wait a moment as his laughter died off. "Sorry," he said, "I just have laughing fits and...well..." "I see," said Kate smiling, "Do you want to go back to the dorms?" "Sure, lets go," he said as he started down the hall. "Hey! Wait!" said Kate as she rushed to catch up to him. They headed to the dorms together talking and laughing.

I like your pots. They're really cool looking. I like the tall-ish one on the left and the big one with the flowers in it. Your ring looks cool. But its kinda hard to see because of the funky-ness of the image.

Kate followed the other Ravenclaws up several flights of stairs and down a corridor. The group stopped abruptly infront of a suit of armor. "Okay first years," said the Head Girl, "please remember the password so you dont have to wait out in the corridor for someone to come and rescue you." Several of the older kids laughed, remembering years past and different mishaps. "Minty Bat Claw," said the Head girl and the suit of armor came to life and stepped to the side, letting them in. Kate climbed into the common room, looking around absorbing her surroundings. There were big overstuffed blue armchairs all around the room. On the farside of the room was a fireplace and on either side of the fireplace were doors leading up to the dorms. Kate headed up to her room. -------------------- Kate sat on her bed with her cat in her lap. She had finished un-packing and was in her pajamas. "We're going to like it here girl," she said, stroking the cats back as in purred it happily. She picked up the cat and put it down on the bed next to her as she got up and went to her trunk. She took out a book, the cover said Hogwarts: A history. She hopped back onto her bed opend it to a chapter on Ravenclaw, eventhough she read it many many times before, she started to read. The clock struck eleven. Kate was sound asleep with the book in her hand.

Request Witch Hunter Robin Avatar?
instantramen14 replied to instantramen14's topic in Creative Works
Thanks for the avi!! -
"This is going to be a very intresting 7 years," Kate thought as she slowly ate her food. She looked up and down the table at the people she would be going to school with for the year. She stopped at the first first year to get sorted into Ravenclaw, Elliot. "Hm...." she thought, "he got sorted almost immideately but then other kids took more time." She stared at him as she thought, not paying any attention to anything. He noticed her staring and waved his hand as if to snap her out of her trance like state. She blinked and shook her head a little. "Sorry," she mutterd blushing. "It's quite alright," he said grinning. She stared at her food and continued to eat. "Oh my god. Why did I have to choose now to just zone out and start to think?" she thought to herself. Dumbledore stood up and announced the end of dinner. "Thank god," thought Kate, "It's about time." She abruptly stood up and followed the stream of ravenclaws to their dorms. ooc: What classes is everyone supposed to have? I can't quite remember ^^;;

This year I played tennis for my school. It was very fun, several of my friends were on the team. I played doubles with several people. My teammates were okay, but we were kinda all beginners. My coach was really nice, he'd help us with our swings. He was easier than the boys coach too. ^^ The only sucky thing is, in the whole season, only one person on our team won a set. :laugh:

Tattoos, piercings, body mods
instantramen14 replied to ChibiHorsewoman's topic in General Discussion
I'm deathly afraid of needles, so I dont see myself getting any peircings or tattoos in my future. But if I wasnt such a chicken, i'd get my ears pierced- lobes and cartiladge and my nose pierced-like a stud in my nose. Instead of tattoos, I do henna tattoos on myself. They're temporary, painless and fairly simple to do. I've done several designs on myself- usually flowery designs. I think tattoos are cool. Depending on how its done. Some people get tattoos because they are popular, like the nautical stars, doves ect.ect. They just go and pick somthing off a wall, not putting much thought into it. They dont think about how they will have to live with this on their body for the rest of their life. I really respect the people who make their own designs and really think it through. Body mods... :twitches: I think they're weird, but to each his own I guess. -
