I do like atlus' games alot, especially the ogre battle games as well as some of their other tactics type games. I have yet to try any Mana games, so this would be the first, but I heard this one is much different as gameplay goes. You are right though, I should finish my games but sometimes I want to mix things up a bit. It's a bad habit I know. So far it looks like I should get Odin Sphere, due to the fact that Atlus doesn't make enough games.

I was thinking about what game I should buy next... Odin Sphere Rogue Galaxy .Hack GU 1/2 Dawn of Mana I'm kind of tentative on Dawn of Mana because of the price right now... Plus I'm still working on Kindom Hearts 2 and FF12 so I don't want to be too committed to it. WHAT DO U THINK!?!?!?
I agree with Keyblade Wielder in the FOOD aspect. Yum. ...Okay, actually, while many people gorge themselves to death on Thanksgiving, I don't eat any more than I would for a regular dinner. I'll eat some turkey, cranberry sauce, and deviled eggs, but that's about it. ...Oh, and the pumpkin pie. God bless the pumpkin pie.
I see alot of people saying deviled eggs as one of their favorites, but I have yet to see any at any of my Thanksgivings! My family must be weird or something... My ideal Thanksgiving meal would consist of smoked turkey, semi-clumpy mashed potatoes, stuffing, bread/butter combo and pumpkin pie, and lots of it.

The holiday season is drawing closer, and with the media hyping christmas clearance sales and whatnot we tend to forget one of the better holidays: Thanksgiving. Yes, it may not be as exciting as its winter cousin(s), but its still a good day to celebrate and enjoy good food and the company of family. I think Thanksgiving is great, and it is a great precursor to my favorite holiday Christmas, but I really try to stray away from being ungrateful about it. Mainly because my family has always been good at planning great get-togethers and meals, so maybe thats why I tend to enjoy Thanksgiving as much as I do. So what about you? What's your favorite food for Thanksgiving? How do you go about enjoying Turkey Day?

So how the lemonade would I go about spiking my hair?
Jubei Yagyou replied to a topic in General Discussion
Don't use so much water when you gel it. Dry it out a little bit until your hair is damp, so it can move but stay in one spot at the same time. Once you do that you can commence to styling. -
This game really looks like it has a lot of potential. Although the single player graphics and storyline doesn't look too entertaining I think the gameplay itself will make up for that, I hope. On a side note, this game can be played on the ps3 right? Or will they come out with a ps3 version?
More and more I'm finding that it's impossible to get good food any more. Everything that used to be good and tasty has been replaced by terrible, crappy 'healthy alternatives.' Now, I respect that some people like to eat terrible-tasting food for whatever reason, but more and more it's not becomg an 'alternative,' it's becoming the rule.
I don't see how "good" food has changed. Taking out trans fat is one of the best things the food market has done. Our bodies aren't made to digest that kind of thing, and there are numerous health risks involved in eating trans fats.
And the worst part, to me, is that it's not just the food billed as health-food that's being effected. Companies realise that they can make a terrible, cheap product and, as long as it's got the '0 Trans Fats' logo on it, they get away with it. Take Doritos, for example. Doritos used to be awesome. You could come home from a long day at school, sit down in front of the TV with a bag of Doritos in hand, and just forget all your troubles; now, Doritos have become sickly, stale, pale triangles of terribleness. Ritz crackers are the same way, they're absolutely terrible now. It's really, really depressing. I respect that some people don't want to eat food that's bad for you, and it's really annoying that my own personal decisions - that taste > health - is not being respected.
It actually is less cost-effective to have no trans-fatty acids, because they now rely on oils that have more digestible fats that are more expensive. But hey, if those stale non-trans fat doritos are getting in the way of your food binge, just dip them in lard. Nice, pure, lard. That will make you feel allllllll better.

Halloween is only second to Christmas when I consider my favorite holidays. It's the atmosphere, it's the amber leaves, it's the nostalgia, it's the smell of cut grass when your jogging out to the football field, it's the scary movies and cheesy kids specials, it's the candy. Whatever it is, it's what makes halloween so special. But now it's just bittersweet, because it just feels like I can't enjoy it as much as I did when I was five years old. I guess it's that I can't eat candy anymore, and I guess that's just sad.

I don't know. I didn't get to watching it but, it seems like theres nowhere to go from the movie. Yes, the movie was somewhat good, but how can you make a show out of it? It just seems like its some marketing ploy to get football players and former football players to watch and think about the glory days. I don't think it will last.
Jubei:[/B'] I'm so sorry, I always thought you were a girl! >< You have a really pretty smile though~
Haha! What made you think that I was a girl? Thanks btw.
HOLY F###! #### #### ####! Get out of my mind! I don't know why, but just based on people's writings and avatars/banners, my mind just makes a random image of a person. But with Jubei Yagyou, it was right on the money - even the pose! (although you were paler).. What the hell, man? That was freaky, haha. I was close with a few people in the past, but I'm pretty much off with the rest of the ones here.
That's pretty crazy, cuz thats what I usually look like on any given day. Know what else is weird? I'm usually paler than that but I've been running outside alot lately.

Manga Naruto Manga [Warning: Spoilers]
Jubei Yagyou replied to Ryo the Tactician's topic in Otaku Central
I wish these chapters were longer though.[/SIZE']
Know what I do? Lay off of it for awhile. Around 5 weeks later you can go on a five chapter binge. It's fun, you should try it. -
Manga Naruto Manga [Warning: Spoilers]
Jubei Yagyou replied to Ryo the Tactician's topic in Otaku Central
321: I thought the story progressed really well. I think that Asuma is beginning to become more of a 3-dimensional character. But seriously,
who didn't guess that they would tie in the whole nature manipulation thing with the rasengan?. I was actually hoping that Kishimoto would make it so that he would have to make his own personal jutsu of his own. Even so, its going to be fun to watch Naruto take more steps to surpase the fourth.
-

She isn't very unique but that's why people are so attracted to her. So many people try so hard to look as conventionally attractive as she is but she pulls it off without even trying. Anime Anime that need a sequel/continuation
Jubei Yagyou replied to 5th Hokage's topic in Otaku Central
I felt that outlaw star had too much of an open ending to not have a sequal. It was ridiculous. The whole last third of the show seemed rushed, and the ending didn't answer any questions and barely gave any resolution. -
Manga Naruto Manga [Warning: Spoilers]
Jubei Yagyou replied to Ryo the Tactician's topic in Otaku Central
To bring up a new topic... http://forums.narutofan.com/showthread.php?t=128828 This guy claims to have talked to kishimoto about the ending. He has evidence to back him up, its pretty interesting. :0 -
The whole flavour from grilling (I assume you mean on a barbecue) comes from the fat. The fat drips down onto the rocks (Volcanic, charcole, whathaveyou) and gets absorbed into the pores; the rocks get hot and the fat evaporates and goes back into the burger, thus making it taste better the more you use the barbecue. New barbecues (The ones with the metal plates instead of rocks) just don't do it for me.
That's not necassarily true. Grilling on a barbeque has a distinct charred taste that isn't just the fat evaporating into the pores of the meat. You can grill anything and it will taste good, while still have that awesome grilled taste. Grilled pineapples is one my favorite grilled food.
When you make a burger with no fat it tastes bland as hell and you have to smother it in ketchup to make it taste good... Hamburgers are supposed to be big, greasy monsteous lumbs of meat, not health food. Either make them how they're supposed to be made or don't eat em.
Hamburgers aren't supposed to be anything. A lean hamburger is still a good hamburger, and if you prepare it with good spices and sauces it can taste even better than a fatty hamburger with no kick. Just because it doesn't have processed tomato paste with sugar and water doesn't mean it won't taste good. I say, make them the way you wan't them with the knowledge of what you're putting in your body or don't eat them at all.
Watch your calorie intake. Try to keep your daily intake under 1500. AVOID POPTARTS. At 200 calories a tart, they add up fast. Eat fruits and meats. Avois dairy products, as they tend to be high in fat. Avoid low-grade meats, like hamburger, as they too tend to be high-fat. If its a good-quality hamburger (not fast-food; grilled), have at it. Carbs aren't bad. Eat them and sugars in the morning. Eat protein at night. Carbs and sugars give you energy, which can be negative late at night. Hope I helped and good luck![/COLOR']
I agree. But to add to that, try to stay away from too much red meat. Instead of a regular hamburger, try lean turkey burgers made by yourself. And yes, grilling is the best way to go, but its okay to stick it in the oven. Also, carbs ARE good, but, too much bad carbs such as sugars is a nightmare. Simple sugars in cereals, pop tarts, fruit snacks are evil. Fruits are excellent in moderation, but too much can also be bad. If you crave a fruit snack or something with lots of sugar, freeze some grapes. Frozen grapes forces you to eat it slowly so you can enjoy the sugar. And for the last tip, try not to eat past 6 o' clock. Your metabolism slows down during the day and if you eat 3-4 hours before you sleep those calories you take in are wasted energy. Again, these are just good habits to try out, if they don't work try doing something on your own.
Untrue, terrorists can take any shape or form. The IRA and the UVF are two cases of Catholic and Protestant terrorist groups, regardless of what they prefer to call themselves, who are not followers of Allah. Also Farto, and I think I speak for every religious person here regardless of creed, but no true follower of any major faith condones terrorism.
I agree with you that all terrorists are not muslims, but, muslims DO have terrorism condoned in their religion. Isn't it true that muslims believe that if you die while trying to destroy an enemy during a Jihad they will be greeted in heaven by 40 virgins? I'm not 100% percent sure but it's something like that.
This might be getting off topic...so yea... I'm 14 yrs old and 5'0 tall and wiegh about 121 lbs. I have excess fat around my stomach and I'm guessing my upper thighs? When I was in the second grade I was pretty thin because I had a certain babysitter who didn't let me eat whatever. But then she ended moving and being in the third grade I still needed a babysitter. So we got a new babysitter and this one pretty much let me eat whatever (and when you get that kind of freedom in third grade you're BOUND to go overboard) and I went overboard and started getting heavy but I didn't really care. Then towards the end of fifth grade the babysitter couldn't babysit for me any more so I got my own key and started going straight home after school. But I've pretty much kept the weight on since with time to time of getting a bit slimmer then something ended happening and I'd eat more then I normally could or should. About a few months I was at home with my dog Baha and I just got up and started making a ton of food. Two packets of ramen, two hotdogs and two bagels. I ate the noodles dry then ate the bagels without anything on them and ate half of one of the hot dogs. I then drank a huge cup of diet pepsi. For some reason there will be a time when I'm at home and just go on a binge and eat abunch of carbs. With my friends, they go on candy binges but with me it's the carbs (ie bagels, rolls, pasta, cinnamon rolls, pop tarts) I won't say that I haven't gone on a candy binge or two because I have. My mom keeps telling me that we're going to go to Curves. I'm pretty sure it doesn't help that I have major rage issues that come and go like as often as Bush makes a stupid remark. Most times I can hide my rage by appearing calm on the outside (there has been times when I've gone off the handle) And often when I get like that and feel like I can't do anything about it I eat. I've tried to stop I really have but it seems I can't. Anyone got any ideas?
Running is a good thing to try. This past week I went running a good 3 miles every other day and I lost 4 pounds (that's a whole lot for me). It's also a really good way to blow off some steam, especially if you're running while listening to some music or just running in nature. Walking is good too.
Affirmative action=bull****. If all races are truly equal, than why put all of them in front of one. If white people truly aren't the majority, then why act as though they are? Its discrimination against white people.
Affirmative Action = Equal Opportunity. Lets say a refugee from Vietnam immigrated to America in 1974, and that person wanted to get a job. Well, he/she can't get a good one because they are 20 years of age and doesn't have a high school or college degree. Do you expect that person to live off of minimum-wage for the rest of his/her life? That person couldn't support a family, and that's why theres Affirmative Action.
If white people truly aren't the majority, then why act as though they are? Its discrimination against white people.[/COLOR']
White People ARE the majority. The majority of the upper-class in America that is.
Someone, please argue pro-affirmative action. Please, argue that discriminating is good.
I just did.
Interesting. I play hockey ever 3 days in the Winter and play Lacrosse a lot of the non-winter school months, and I pig out during most of my free time. Works for me.
If you're involved with sports so much you could lose the weight very easily. You don't even have to go on a diet. I would bet you 100 dollars that if you watched what you ate for 2 weeks while you're doing hockey or something you would lose a lot of weight. And I would bet 100 more dollars that you would get better at hockey or lacrosse. What I'm saying is, if you don't want to lose weight for your health, try losing it for your sport.
Tical, a junkatarian.........? I like the sound of that. Now I have a name for my eating habits. Sweat! But like DeadSeraphim said, those of us with fast metabolisms will be way fat one day. But untill then, live it up folks. We've got the world of food at our finger tips, just eat it before our metabolisms give out on us. ^_^
I believe that this is the downfall of many normal Americans that become obese sooner, rather than later in life. Of course some people have a naturally better metabolism because of genetics, but the majority of people that have a slow metabolism later in life is not because of their genetics. It's because of the eating habits that we pick up throughout our teenage years. The effects of your eating habits are long-term and effect you when you're of middle-age. Sure, its partly because you're getting older. But, its partly because of the way you ate when you're a teenager. If you skip breakfasts, go on fad diets, eat junk foods and drinks then that's eventually going to effect your metabolism and thus your weight. And I definately agree with the 13th man, theres just some things that you cant do when you're overweight. I'm not trying to say one lifestyle is better than another, I'm just trying to show that I found my life more fulfilling when I wasn't fat anymore.
Well, yes and no. I do agree, I want the fillers to stop probably as badly as any rampat, rabies infested Naruto fanboy/girl wants to, however its wrong to say that they don't have a purpouse.
I'm not saying all fillers are bad no matter what, I'm just saying that these fillers in particular are crizzap. Fillers can be good, if it adds to the depth of characters and the storyline. They could have easily done the
3 year period of the training and what-not
without giving away things like
"That Jutsu..."
But, whatever. If they don't want to try that hard that's fine with me. I dont watch the anime. oh, and its been made official that fillers end episode 200. when
kakashi's gaiden begins
I merged your posts together, if you have a need to add more content, just edit your previous post -Ikillion

These fillers need to stop. Theres no reason to have them. When you watch it you would think, 'oh well, I guess I'll watch it to get a better sense of the characters, right?' No. Wrong. I think that the anime is straying too far from the original manga storyline. In fact, it has always been that way since the beginning. In the early anime episodes it had "filler" flashbacks that just showed what we already knew. Now there are seemingly endless filler episodes. When will this madness end?
