yargh. why was there no chapter this week? I needed my fix. -
My favorites right now are The Fall of Troy and Dragonforce. Their lyrics speak to me and the guitar riffs are pretty frickin sweet.
Though I do hate milk, I sort of knew some vegetables had protein. It's very annoying, though, because everytime I say "I'm going vegetarian again," someone will always pester me with "omgzz!! how are you going to get protein!?"
Beans are a very good source of protein. Whenever I feel like I want to have a heavy meal without meat I just make some black beans and rice and make a bean burrito. Protein pills and shakes help too.

Red 6: I really admire your empowerment. I wish I could be as independant as you are but the fact of the matter is, some people need positive attention, and I found it through sports. I really believe with any life style that anyone chooses but one thing I don't agree with you is...
You know who the true strong men are? The men who wins Olympic golds? They're big, heavy-set farm boys who get up every morning, eat a side of bacon, and lift weights for most of the day, not those creepy-lookin' Mr. Atlas winners like Swartchenegger
Thats only true in the heavyweight category, the majority have to cut like wrestlers. Lunox: Wrestlers do starve sometimes, and the muscles do diminish but the main thing is right after a wrestler weigh in 1 or 2 hours before a meet, they pig out. After a half an hour of digesting your energy comes back. Its not like most wrestlers starve 24/7, its mostly having a strict diet and barely drink before weighing in.

Weight has been a big deal in my life ever since I was twelve, which was 4 years ago. I was diagnosed clinically obese, and felt like I was going to be fat for the rest of my life. All I did was sit around feeling sorry for myself. But, when I turned 14, my mom lost lots of weight. So, I decided to drink less pop, and I lost some fat because I was also growing. So going into freshman year I decided to join an "intense" weightlifting program with the football team and I lost more weight and I could actually see my muscles. That Year I joined wrestling, but I didn't have to cut because I didn't start at all. The year after that I was pretty good at football that year and I lifted a fair amount. During wrestling that year I naturally weighed 140 pounds at 5'5". I cut to 130 pounds that year and it was the worst and best experience of my life. Even though I starved and dehydrated myself to an unhealthy state, I actually got attention for my hard work and lettered. But, in the first week after wrestling was overr, I lost all of my muscle and gained 20 pounds. Everyone made fun of me and I felt the same way as I did when I was a short fat 12 year old. Now I am back in shape and I want to know, what are your experiences with weight? Is it not a big deal for you? Or are you weighing yourself everyday like I am?

Never tryed it. I don't think I ever will. Why? Because it reminds me of my mom in a bikini. That and white looking clay. Theres just something about it, if it doesn't look like the texture will make my mouth happy then I probably won't like it. It's not like I never try anything either, my dad is a chef so I eat a lot of different stuff. I'm also a wrestler so I eat so much when I'm not cutting weight. Cottage cheese just doesn't look good to me.
-
It seems like you're starting to watch more mech stuff. If you really like it, some of the better ones that I prefere are G Gundam and Gundam 08th ms team. Both of them are a little shorter than usual but you get a lot out of it in my opinion.

I'm only afraid of a few things in particular. I'm really afraid of trying really, really hard on something and getting nothing out of it or someone/thing taking it away from you, but that can be preventable i guess. What I'm really afraid of is having someone I know die. I guess I am scared of death in general.

I found it through Ludwig Boltzmann > Suicide > Seppuku > Samurai > Rurouni Kenshin > Himura Kenshin Try Himura Kenshin > Book/Gospel of Matthew

Ya, its in the story. It works kinda like
Gai's and Lee's gate opening technique. The more tails that show up on naruto the more chakra comes from the kyuubi. Don't want to give away too much.
-
Well,
when Naruto barely lost to Sasuke he only got up to 3 tails. And when he was fighting orochimaru he was evenly matched with him. Imagine if he went up to 5 or 6. There would be lethal side affects but in certain situations Naruto can't control it, other people have to do it for him. So I think that if it was just Naruto, Sasuke, and Orochimaru around, Naruto could probably get up to 5 tails and beat them.
Thats where I think the story is heading.
-
I think that Naruto,
in an attempt to save Sasuke and kill Orochimaru, will be taken over by the kyuubi despite the fact that Sasuke can temporarily hold back that power, and he will kill both Sasuke and Orochimaru in that rage.
-
No.
Eventually
Chiyo and Sakura defeat Sasori and Chiyo revives Gaara by giving him her life energy. I'm not sure if Gaara still is a Jinchuuriki though.
I'm a big fan of Dir en Grey and the pillows. Two different genres, but they are my favorite bands. Diru is more of a fast paced rock, while the pillows are more of indies music. I would recommend Happy Bivouac or Little Busters for furi kuri fans.

Ahhh I understand now. I dont think ketchup on hash browns is weird either. But its more like hash browns on ketchup for me. I have a tendancy to put any sort of spices on anything. I put tobasco sauce on eggs, steak, steak sauce. I put this really, really spicy spices my dad has in the fridge on my rice. I prefer it not frozen but my dads too cheap to by any new spices so I just freeze em and keeps using the same old ones for like a 5 months now. Oh, and I put salsa on pizza.
Originally posted by wrist cutter Is that weird? Damn. I put ketchup on everything reasonable,
What would be considered reasonable in wrist cutters context?
Originally posted by Jubei Yagyou I do not recall when I had better reasoning for why I liked the manga better. Maybe I was flustered at the time, or maybe I didnt put much thought in my posts. But I stick with what I say. And maybe this will help your confusion. SasukeUchiha says he likes detail. He is thinking about the detail in the anime were every movement is shown on the television. Im not saying thats bad but some people like those things and some people dont. For example people that like to use their imagination to view mentally whats going on would... read a book. People who like to be shown rather than explained would... watch tv or something. Once again Im not saying either way is bad. You see, in the manga, you can imagine what happens that isnt shown or explained, in short, fill in the gaps. In the anime you dont have breathing room for imagination. Thats my two cents ;). Azure I would like to know how I had better reasoning. Please explain.
AZURE IM STILL WAITING FOR AN ANSWER!!! Anyway, maybe Sweetpie is on the hidden mist part, where
Naruto first shows his Nine tailed fox demon chakra.
"Right." As the two were walking back Aoshi looked at Ryden. Ryden also looked back at him. "Yes?" Ryden asked quizzically, Aoshi stopped limping and said, "I wish I was more use to the army. Back at home I was a legend. And-" "Did you underestimate your enemy?" Aoshi looked down and answered, "Yes... Yes I indeed did." Ryden shook his head and kept walking, and started to flap his wings toward the third tower. He looked back at Aoshi giving him the signal to follow. Once Aoshi caught up Ryden said, "In battle, every man should do his all." Aoshi nodded as they got closer to the tower...
Originally posted by AzureWolf *cough* Guys (and girls), remember, the match-ups for the Chuunin exams should be considered spoilers since just those groupings give off a lot of information. I think they are spoiler tag-worthy. Jubei Yagyou, that's fanboyish reasoning for why you think the manga is better. I think you are forgetting that the creator of Naruto has no god-like abilities, nor is perfect in any way. A revised version of things is almost always better. The anime is much more polished and solid than the manga ever was. Just looking at the first chapter, you see more foreshadowing and hints of things to come than the manga has:
Naruto's peers, Hinata, humor timing
. In the manga,
Naruto's peers were random people
. Additionally, I think Masashi Kishimoto welcomed such subtle (and better). If not, then he's a little too arrogant for his own good. No one's work or creation is pefect, and revisions should always be something the creator should think about. Lastly, Naruto's manga version has basically been a blue print for the anime, with improvements here and there. That's my two cents. Sorry for being a tad rude, Jubei, but I remember you using much better reasoning for why you prefer the manga before. "STOP!" Aoshi yelled to Ryden while he was dodging Talens attacks. Ryden looked back at Aoshi, "Who are you! Whoever you are, run!" Talen chuckled under his breath and said, "Good idea. You should listen to him." Talen kept trying to stab Ryden with his blade. The blade went towards his right shoulder, Ryden evaded the attack and gripped the sword with his hand and glared into Talens eyes. Aoshi stood and started to walk towards the two opposing dragoons. Talen was suprised and tryed to extract the sword from Rydens grasp but he could not. Rydens hand was bleeding, but he finnally pushed Talen back. "Wow, I must say you are strong." He then made a strange grin, "But not strong enough. Oh look, I guess he did not listen to you." Ryden looked confused and looked over to his right shoulder. He felt a strange chill in the air and saw Aoshi. "What are you doing here?" Ryden said, "I told you to run." Aoshi looked up to him and smiled. Then looked back at Talen who was standing still, with his strange grin. "Let me try something." Aoshi said, but Ryden still looked confused. Aoshi blew into the air and a tornado was formed. Talen still held his ground though, same with Aoshi and Ryden. Aoshi was staring icily into Talens eyes, but Talen was not shake by this and kept watching Aoshi and waiting for his next move. Aoshi formed ice in his palm, and crushed it. He brought it up to his mouth and blew it into the tornado. The small amount of ice kept going into the tornado. It seemed that it was more ice than Aoshi crushed. The tornado sucked in the ice, and the shards were spinning around at great speeds. Ryden was suprised by Aoshi's power. Talen was not shaken, but gazed into the beautifal display that was the tornado...
Originally posted by Inuyasha7575 I thinkits hopeless its just not gonna happen for a while at least im not some kind of geek who spends most of his life on the comp.
Absolutely false, My friend that is fourteen is a computer FREAK!!! All he does is spend his money on his comp and guess what? He has already done lots of stuff. So just goes to show you that its not what you are its who you are. Your social status has nothin to do with relationships. Anyway, My first kiss was when i was twelve. It sucked, and I got mono from it. It was at a YMCA dance party with some random girl.
And I actually liked the flashbacks when Ino and Sakura were fighting. I do like their rivalry, and it made me a little sad to see how close they were when they were younger.
~Haruno Sakura
Some of it was informational, but some of it was pointless. Dont you agree? Aside from that, I am not only talking about the differences in story line in the manga and anime. Im also talking about the art in the anime. Have you gone as far as the Gaara and Rock Lee fight? The animation was digital! That makes me angry. And it wasnt even GOOD digital effects. Think about it.
Originally posted by SasukeUchiha That is not entirely true, If you read the manga and watch the episodes the stories just about exactly match each other. You should give it a chance, the only problem is that because it follows the manga as closely as it does some parts do tend to move a little slow. But giving it a chance is definitly a good idea. Thats why I buy the boots from an online store ^^ Yeah, but
I really liked Hinata alot since the first time i saw her
so my neverending hate shall only grow stronger lol unless
his personality changes from that self absorbed lil punk that he is during the second chunnin exam
because thats as far as I am right now.
Actually, I started watching naruto FROM the anime. Also, they dont really match eachother. Ya the actions they make do but not the way the story moves exactly. Like the episode were Ino and Sakura fight. There are WAAAYYY more flashbacks in the anime, which, in my view, was pointless. Thats my point of view.

OOC: Sorry to post so late. But at my dads house aol seems to think I am banned. I hate aol... Oh, and by the way Im going to start where Sic started and end where skedy was in the middle of his/her (sorry I dont know) post. Reason being is I want a decent introduction. IC: "Defend the tower!" Aoshi roared, pointing at the tower behind him as the winglies began to smother the area. A winglie came running toward him. Aoshi swiftly aimed his hand toward him and froze his limbs so he could not move. He then smirked even though some of his comrades around him began to fall to the winglies, but some prospered. Aoshi made a blade with the ice on his fist. He cocked back his arm and swung towards the winglies abdomen and watched the organs and blood gush out of the winglies body. Aoshi looked over to see a dragoon that just scewered (sp?) another winglie. He yelled at him "Hey! You!" The dragoon looked back at him. "We need more help defending Tower 1! Get over there! We can take care of rest!" He nodded and headed towards the tower. Aoshi looked back towards the vast amount of units in the winglie army draw nearer to the middle of towers one and two...
