You probably came to this thread to see some snazzy, hilarious, crazy cartoon animations right? Well, I?m sorry to disappoint you but I can?t really do that. YET. However, I DO make cartoon characters, and I would like to share them with [i]you[/i] and hopefully you get the same fuzzy feeling I get inside when I see them. And for those of you who don?t know me my names Shippo and I use to be a regular at this forum way back when. Anyways, I quit coming here because I stopped watching anime and got caught up with a lot of other stuff. Well to make a long story short, I?m back! And I am glad to say I have lots of new stuff to showcase and hopefully I?ll get some feedback and tips on where to improve. I have some different stuff that most of you probably don?t see around here too often. I stopped making banners a while back, and picked up drawing characters. Well, I guess it isn?t really drawing when I?m not using a pencil, scanner, or tablet. I made these cartoons from ovals, triangles, and the pen tool in Adobe Photoshop 7. I hope you enjoy them, and please comment because I spent a lot of time on them! Thanks. So let us start this off with my first and favorite cartoon I?ve ever made up to date. I experimented with a lot of different things in Photoshop and came up with a basic character. I loved it so much I decided to take it to the next level and animate it. Just brings a tear to my eye thinking about it. Which allows for a question, where is your constructive criticism on the wallpaper? Back to the topic, I really like your wallpaper Hack Helba. However, I feel that there is still room for improvement. Grids, IMHO, are really overused. You might want to throw that out, it gives it less of a tech feeling, and fits more with the whole mood of the wallpaper. The colors are great, and i love that effect you used. Makes it looks like petals of a flower. Great job, 8.5/10

Its strange however...Lately, banners seem very, "boring" considering its such a small canvas. I'm starting to enjoy Wallpapers because it allows me to work on a much bigger canvas, and serves (for me, at least) as a better purpose. I just have a few suggestions to share though.[/color][/size][/font] [font=Verdana][size=2][color=darkslategray]Although the background textures are great, the first thing that came to my mind when I saw the banners were that the stocks didn't go very well with the background. [/color][/size][/font] [font=Verdana][size=2][color=darkslategray]The background color for the Fuu banner is blue (obviously). Blue is a calm, relaxing color. And that description doesnt really fit Fuu too well. I think you should've maybe tinted the background to pink r orange-ish. Not only does it match her dress, but pink is also a sign of being enrgetic, and cheery. Which suits Fuu's Personality much better.[/color][/size][/font] [font=Verdana][size=2][color=darkslategray]The background for the Jin banner is Red. Red is more of a wild, enrgetic, color that would suit Mugen's personality (and garments) better; And blue is more of a soothing, cool, color (as mentioned before) which might fit Jins personality, and garments better. Changing the background colors to suiting the character stock is a vital thing when making banners, and should be taken into account before finsihing up the banner.[/color][/size][/font] [font=Verdana][size=2][color=darkslategray]Just a few suggestions. They are great as is, but these are stuff I might've done if I were in your shoes. [/color][/size][/font] [font=Verdana][size=2][color=darkslategray]Now, onto the animation. To sum it all up, I'd say, [b]wow.[/b] That was great! ( despite the loading time ^^; ) The blur at the end was an awesome touch. I wish I could animate like that. Woah, nice stuff Turkey! After getting cinema 4d, I now know how hard, and complex it is to model stuff. And in this case, you did an excellent job! I expecially love the shine of the tires. Persoanlly, I can't wait to see the toon-CGed version. Really looking forward to it :]
