The guy playing Goku has got to be one of the worst casting errors. He looks like someone I'd like to punch. :animesmil The others arn't mcuh better. I love DB/Z, and I still want to see it, but I don't hold my hopes too high for it.
2. Are you serious? o_O Wow. I thought the Scorpion King was bad...and to make another.. The only thing I liked about that movie was the fact that it was set in Egypt. I loved the first two Mummy movies.
3. I thought the gymnastics was cool. I've always wanted to incorporate flips and such in with my martial arts, so I enjoyed watching that. The swimming is just getting on my nerves. I thought it was cool the first time I saw it; how fast they can go in the water is amazing. However, its not that interesting to me atall, its just annoying now. Lol. I don't care about watching the tennis, basketball, or volleyball. The running is kind of interesting to me though. What I really want to see is the Taekwondo.
4. I'm adding Tropic Thunder to my list. Just got back an hour ago. I'll say, its one of the funniest movies I've seen produced by Hollywood in awhile. I don't like most of the comdies that have come out in the last..oh, ten years? Give or take. But this I really thought was funny. [Edit:] To add another..I saw The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor saturday night. I didn't have very high expectations for the film, considering the fact that it only has two of the original cast members, Brenden and John. Plus, its set in China. I didn't like the women who played as Evelyn at all, she didn't capture the part as well as Rachel Weisz does. And like I said, it was set in China. I love Egypt, and thats what I think of when I think of these movies. I know they've already made two and to have another in the same location would have probebly been redundant, but seriously, it was already the third movie anyway. I'm not a big fan of Jet Li either. He can't act, and he can't fight. :p It did have some decent moments, but a lot of it was just so 'cheesy', and uncharacteristic to how I think the family would have been after the first two movies. Although when Evelyn and Rick
fought together against the so called mummies, that I could see.

Yeti's....? What? You've got to be kidding me!

5. A general movie theme would be cool. But maybe in later rounds perhaps. Its all my fault. Since I entered no one has submitted anything. I kill everything. ;_;
6. Ah, the utter joy of not having cable. I've just recently heard of them, and I don't even know what they're music sounds like. If they're on the Disney channel and have anything to do with that High School musical crap, theres a good chance I'll never listen. ;)
7. No. I don't buy anything "designer". I don't get into new fads either. I get clothes from diffrent places, and $30 is the most I'll spend on a pair of jeans, which I don't buy very much anyway. I don't really buy Walmart, K-mart clothes, but thats because I don't like them. Walmart has shirts I like sometimes(I got a nice Yoshi shirt there once), but never pants.
8. I was born in Phoenix, AZ. We moved from Phoenix to Showlow, AZ once, but only for a short time, then back to Phoenix. My uncle and cousin lived in our house in Phoenix over that time. We moved from Arizona to Ohio when I was ten and a half. Which is where I still currently live. I've missed Arizona ever since. I always put Ohio down but in all honesty I don't think I would be the person I am today if we hadn't moved here. I discovered martial arts here, anime, God. Lol. Really though, I know how a lot of my childhood friends in Arizona turned out(I still keep in touch), and I'm thankful I left because I'm not like them. Ohio has a lot of things to do I guess, most of which I couldn't give a crap about. I don't care about the Hard Rock, the Indians(baseball), the Browns(football), or pretty much any entertainment we provide. Ha. Thhe Science Center is cool, and the Zoo, but Zoos are in every state. :p I hate the winters, its the longest season here! My favorite part about this state however is the park system. The Metroparks are amazing! I think its also known as the emrald necklace because it stretchs throughout the whole state, all lined with wildlife, and trees. Its a great place to bike, run, walk, relax. I've always wanted to move back to Arizona, I miss the desert, plus other things. However its getting so populated there, and I know it won't be as I remember it at all, after ten years... I've considered New Mexico though, it still has the desert, and possibly not as over crowded. Somewhere out West at least. I've through a lot of other states, and I've been out of the country twice. When I was younger we visited family in California, Ohio, and West Virginia. While moving to Ohio we went through Utah, Kansas, Missouri, Kentucky, Colorado. I've also been to Pennsylvania, & New York. Illinois last weekend. I went to Japan last summer, which was such an amazing experience since I have been wanting to go there for so long and just making that come true for myself was so awesome. I'd go back in a heartbeat. My last out of country experience was Israel, this past May - June. I can't put it into words how breath taking it was. I've been wanting to go there for a few years now, aswell, especially after what I've learned of the bible in the last few years. Just seeing where Jesus walked and spoke was something I'll never forget. The Mediterranean was so beautiful, and floating in the Dead Sea was incredible. I would definetly go back here too if I had a chance. Hopefully my next stop will be Egypt, but we'll see where life take me. I would also like to go to Seattle, Washington to visit my grandma, uncle, and cousin eventually.

10. New pic-ers. I competed in the WACO 2008 Championship in Chicago this past weekend, so here are a few pictures from that. Night on the town; friday night in Chicago. We found the Rainforest Cafe which was amazing. So I'm kicking the gorilla in the front. Kaylyn and I training before her fight on sunday. The fighters looking at Chicago. I'm the one in beige shorts. 11. Great artwort. I think my favorite are the hands, and like Treble said, I like what you did with the white lines aswell. The detail is so precise and realistic, its beautiful. So what is/was your major exactly?
12.
My entry. I might edit the font still. I'm unsure yet.
Um you might want to fix the banner size. I noticed that its 450 x 120 pixels, when it should be 550 x 120. XD
Edit by Boo - Actually, it shouldn't exceed 550×120. :whoops:
Anyhoo, here is my entry. I haven't entered into one of these in ages...years?
13. I hate the phrase "Y'all". When I was in Israel, they actually had merchandise like mugs, and pins, and other random trinkets that said "Shaloam Y'all". *cringe* I've always used Pop over soda. Honestly I can't think of any special slang that we use here in Ohio. XD
14. Hmm, we'll see won't we. I loved legos as a kid, still do. Although once they started coming out with the movie sets like Harry Potter I started to get annoyed. And I always hated Bionicle. The boxes of 2400 were awesome, or the Extreme series and whatnot. We had the Lego Island for the PC, that game was awesome! Until it started to take a nosedive and the water was part of the land and everything started to mesh together.
15.
Well putting aside the obvious choice of the Zelda games one of my newest favorite games is Animal Crossing: Wild World. I got the game about a month ago and it's oddly addicting. I play it every single day just about since I never seem to get tired of fishing, watering, planting, letters, running errands and so forth. Plus I just love having others visit my town or visiting theirs. Even if I only visit one person right now. XD It's still a lot of fun though and I just know I'm going to end up playing it every day for a while to come. It's too much fun. I'd definitely say I got my money's worth when I got this game. :catgirl:
That is an awesome game! I don't have it for GCN, although I did rent it many moons ago and loved it! I have it for the DS, which was very addicting. Although its been a few years now, and over time it has gotten a little old. It still is a great game though. I found Super Mario 64 DS even more so...When I got it I ended up getting a bad cold that week and didn't go to work atall. I played that game the whole time. Plus while on my eleven hour flight from Israel it was a great friend aswell.
16. This is a tough question, over the years I've become fond of a lot of games... xD I'll just make it easier on myself. Intellivision: Dungeons and Dragons, fer sure! Sega Genesis: Sonic 2, Sonic Spinball, Earthworm Jim 1 & 2 Nintendo 64: Paper Mario, Mario Kart, Super Mario,Jet Force Gemini, Duke Nukem, Rush(all three), too many more. GameCube: Super Mario Sunshine, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess DS: The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, Super Mario 64
17. Martial arts is my stress reliever. Kicking, punching, and kneeing seems to work wonders.
18.
I'm sure it's legit, of course, but 1200 bucks is a lot of money, and you seem pretty anxious to go.
$1200 is a lot, but thats the price I payed for my plane ticket, meaning Lady Aura, what do you plan to use for spending money? Will it be provided? These are things you need to know. My whole Japan trip cost me $3,000. My plane tiecket was $1250, and I took an additional $1500 converted into Yen, plus $500 in cash just in case. Let me tell you, Japan is an expensive country. I found that if you buy Japanese its cheaper than if you want American food. But this also depends on where you're at. I payed for my whole trip, but then again, I'm not fourteen years old either. I recommend a part-time job to help pay for this if your really serious about it. I don't know how eager a business would be to lend out $1200 to a fourteen year old to go to Japan. :/
19. Thats awesome, you will enjoy it I'm sure. I absolutely loved it and I hope to go back. Do you know where you will be staying, and when/how long you will be there? I must warn you, the end of June through August is the rainy season, and its veryhumid! Almost always cloudy during that time. :(
20. Heart attack? Bacon is okay, I really don't eat that much atall. Maybe once a year if that. I prefer sausage, but even then its very rare. Tastes delish.
21. Movies I've seen in 2008, if I remember all of them. - The Fifth Element - Vegas Vacation - Trading places - Batman Begins - The Dark Knight - Independence Day - French Kiss - Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets - Get Smart - Wall-E - Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade - Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull - Ace Ventura: Pet Detective - Troy - Kung Fu Hustle - National Treasure 2 - Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - Hancock - Domino - The Spiderwick Chronicles - Bee Movie - The Naked Gun - Con Air - 10,000 BC - Drunken Master - Aladdin - Mr. Magoo I know I've watched a lot more, but its been seven months, I can't remember everything. XD And I'm not reviewing them because that would take way to long. To see - The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor - Tropic Thunder
22. Action and comedy, sci-fi/fantasy. I love martial arts flicks, and I don't mean the ones where they fly off roof tops with the tips of their toes, I can't stand that. Ong Bak is amazing. I really like war/military movies a lot, from modern war to ancient battles. Historical battles are awesome, even if they arn't entirely accurate. Movies such as Gladiator, or Enemy at the Gates. G.I. Jane is also a fav! I'm picky with comedies. I love the 80s, 90s, comedy era. Such as Ace Ventura, Hot Shots, Men at Work, Ghost Busters, The Great Outdoors. Jim Carrey style, Robin Williams, Dan Akroyd. Those types. I also truelly enjoy the old Pink Panther movies with Peter Sellers. I don't like most of the comedy that is spewed out now days. Will Farrell is crap, I don't find him remotely funny. I think they try too hard to be funny now. :/ General action movies such as Indiana Jones, the Bourne series, 007, Batman, Terminator, Matrix, The Mummys. All great movies. Plus many more. Harry Potter is a good fantasy series, Serenity. I also like some romantic/comedies. I don't usually go for pure romance movies, not my cup of tea. But if its laced with good comedy I can enjoy it. French Kiss is a great example. I don't watch horror movies, ever. I don't like musicals atall. *cringe*
23.
I'm Korean myself, and I don't get red when I consume alcohol. Neither do my parents, or any of my relatives, for that matter. Maybe we're immune to it or something. :P Though I do know that a lot of Asians don't handle alcohol well, so that may be a part of it.
My boyfriend is full Korean, and he doesn't get very red when he drinks but his brother definetly does! He told me their dad gets red too, but their mom doesn't.
24. I voted Boo. Second would have been Rurouni922's, however I didn't like the character smack dab in the middle of the sig and the text bothered me, although stock and visual is crisp and appealing. :p I choose Boo's because I like the style, and I've always loved that pic. The text is a little bland and too large though. The colors are a plus aswell. However, I have seen better from sir Boo.
25. There are alot of animes that are short. Cowboy Bebop and Outlaw Star come to mind. Both have 26 episodes, the same with Trigun. Also Neon Genesis Evangelion.
