1. I hate Spongebob. Actually, I hate most of the shows that are popped out this days. I'm all for the 80s-90s cartoons. Darkwing Duck, Animaniacs, the Sonic shows. :p
 2. I love it. I saw the midnight showing on thursday with my boyfriend and his friend, then again on friday with him and five others. It was even better the second time around, and it seemed the audiance was more lively this time too, lol. Heath Ledger's performance was astonishing, he totally made the character. Just the way he ansered questions, or explained things gave you the creeps but also made you laugh at his personality as he did so. All the actors did a great job with this, although Rachel got on my nerves more than anything else. One of my favorite scenes was when
the Joker was dressed as a nurse, priceless.
Go see it.
 3.
SayianPrincess, I actually started to just PM you instead of make the thread. Didn't think there would be too many people who'd knew much about Arizona. (did a search and whatnot, and saw your name pop up in all the threads =))
I'm flattered. :animeswea
Holy crap.. They exist... Do they look like the Road Runner from Looney Tunes, and can they run that fast?
Yes they do exist, lol. I remember seeing one run accross the street next to my house. They are fast, but not like Looney Tunes Road Runner, haha. This is what they look like. > Roadrunner < Also, here is what a horny toad looks like. Technically they're Horned lizards. > Horny toad <
That's actually a lot better than what we get. Freakishly crazy scary type weather. I'm certain you've experienced it. I think Ohioians get the same type weather us Detroiters get.
The last time I was there my brother, me, and my grandma were at a public pool on top of the slide and you could see the dust storm coming towards us in the distance. Everyone was forced to go into the bathrooms like sardines. Another time when we were younger I remember looking out our back door and you could barely see five feet in front of you because of the dust. Ohio has retarded weather. The temprature fluctuates so much.
Snows a lot? Because I really do want to try out skiing/snowboarding atleast one time.
There are several ski resorts in Arizona. Heres an image I found to help you. > Skiing in AZ <
Oh. How far is Avondale from Phoenix? I hear about 40 miles or something. Is it in the desert?
Actually I think its less than 20 miles, or just at. Its 23 miles from Avondale to Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix. Avondale is also the home of the Phoenix International Raceway. Here are some interesting/pointless facts about AZ. 4. The only famous person I think I've seen in person is Mark Hunter from the band Chimaira. He takes kickboxing where I go, hah. He used to come regularly, then he was on tour for some months, then spending time with his girlfriend for another month or two. He just recently came back this past week. Hes a cool guy, I like to pick on him. Thats it though.
 5. I'm not going to list all that I've seen, but currently I've been reading Hajime no Ippo(Fighting Spirit). My boyfriend introduced me too it because I do TKD, and Muay Thai kick boxing. Its a boxing manga about a boy named Ippo Makunouchi, a shy high school student. It revolves around Ippo as he trains for Japan's pro boxing, learning something new from each opponent he faces. For more info see [Wiki] Its been very addicting so far. I'm on Ch. 75, Pg. 13.
 6. Ah, the title to this thread caught my eye right away. I was born in Arizona(Maricopa county), lived there for eleven years. I don't currently live there now unfortunately, but I plan to move back. I miss it so much. The sun dulls the paint of cars, but it much better than having your car rusted out from the freakin salt in winter time here! The sun does crack the interior(dashboard) aswell. The insects may be big, but you won't see many scorpions or tarantulas in Phoenix, if atall. Although the closer you are to the desert the higher the chance. The same goes for the rattle snakes. Coyotes do not eat children! When I lived there I only saw one coyote, and he was extremly skinny and harmless. Other animals you may see are: - road runners - horny toads, which are awesome. They have horns or spikes all over them, but they're harmless and fun to pick up. - jack rabbits - mountain lions (closer to the desert obviosly) - elk, deer - Gila monsters(poisonous lizards), known for there thick tails, and the orange and black coloring. Expect plenty of cacti, especially the Saguaro Cactus("sah-wah-roh"). Sandstorms roll in every once in awhile, or more. :p Plus monsoon season, which could start around July. The most rain you'll probebly see there, and following this would be a lot of flash floods. Summer time is hot, but its dry heat obviously. In the winter the average is in the 60s but it can drop below 40 at night. You won't get any snow in Phoenix, although there was a time I remember getting some back in 89', lol! It stuck for maybe a half hour. It snows in places like Flagstaff, Show Low, Prescott, and others. Things to do...in the summer time, definetley swimming! Its the best past time in the summer. Almost everyone has a pool, and there are tons of public pools. Biking, hiking, water skiing, rafting, kayaking. In the winter time, if you like snow go up to the mountains, or one of the places I listed. Also, camping is great there! When I lived there we went camping all the time, all year round. I don't do camp grounds, I prefer to be away from people when I camp. Putting around on the lake is fun. We used to camp next to the lake, so you have the desert, and the water. Good times! Lake Pleasant was one of my favorites, however I don't know how it is now. Some lakes to injoy while there are Lake Mead, Lake Mohave, Lake Pleasant, Lake Powell, Lynx Lake, Apache Lake, and many more. Yeah golf is big there too. My friend's and I used to see who could stand on the blacktop the longest during the summer in bare feet. Of course I don't reccommend doing this, though it was good fun! ;) If you like the desert, then its the best place to be. I love the desert, the smell of it when it rains is amazing. ^_^
 7.
Happy birthday everyone. Every birthday I have had in the last six years I have always got up, jumped on the net and screencaptured the bottom of all my forum's homepages where it says my name in the birthday box. There, I said it.
I do the exact samething... o,O Happy birthday to the both of you anyway!
 8. I love pizza, but I hardly get it. You know, I watch that stuff. :p I like Dominos and Papa Johns best. Pizza Hut is too greasy, and the other "off brand" pizza shops around here are disgusting. Although I have had Santos once and that was pretty good..but that was ten years ago. XD I like sausage, ham, green peppers, onions, cheese, olives, mushrooms(not all on one). Most of the basics, except anchovies, pineapple, and pepperoni. Pepperoni used to be my favorite topping when I was little, but it seems way to greasy for me now, and the pizza doesn't have as good a flavor with it as it does with say sausage, green pepper, and onions on one. Buying crust and making your own is fun, except we end up making way too many and that tempts me to eat more, ha. I like to put ground turkey on mine, plus the basic cheese, onions, olives. Good stuff. I haven't had pizza in almost six months or more.
 9. Here you go. If it isn't what you wanted let me know.
 10. I've considered trying skydiving aswell, but never have. I think I probebly will someday. I would be one of those people who gets a rush from kickboxing and martial arts fights. Just before a sparring match during a tournment or something I might be nervous, but once your out there its just you and your opponent.
 11. I always loved drawing as a kid. I started to get really inspired when I started watching DBZ. I was about eleven years old, so its been over 10 years now. I would draw for hours everyday, and I went through stages. I started drawing very lightly to the point where you could barely see it, to very very dark, to a more toned down style. I've progressed a lot over time, and I don't restrict myself to the DragonBall style anymore. Although its still one of my favorites because its so familiar to me and brings back good memories. I actually redid a few of my older drawings and placed them side by side in PS to see the drastic improvement I've gone through over the years, and its amazing. I suggest everyone does this, heh. As for graphics, I started out with MS Paint like evryone else, then to a real cheap program that came with our scanner, then finally buying PaintSjop Pro 7 when I was fifteen-ish. So thats when I started making graphics. I would try to imatate what I saw on various websites, and attepted to create my own layouts for fun. Eventually I upgraded to Photoshop after using PaintShop for nearly three years. So I've been using Photoshop for almost four, I think. I enjoy making wallpapers, banners, layouts, and coloring my drawings. I wanted to go unto the art field my whole life. In middle school I wanted to be an animation artist, but after being introduced to manga I decided I wanted to be a manga artist and live in Japan. I wanted this all through high school. However I've changed a lot since graduating, and I don't think I'll be going in to art. I still love it, but I don't have as much time to dedicate to my artwork as I used to and after being exposed to other things over the years like martial arts, working out, and other things I've found myself wondering if I would ever be able to sit in one place and draw all day long. I like to be active and move around, so sitting there everyday with a deadline hanging over my head doesn't sound so appealing.
 12. I totally prefer coffee, but I really only drink it on sundays after church because its convenient. I do like tea aswell though, but my tea taste buds arn't very exotic. I like the generic Lipton tea(orange pekoe), and green tea. I also love Arizona Green Tea. I used to use milk in my tea when I was little, but haven't in sometime now because it seems to taste like watered down milk with sugar. XD Green tea I never sweeten, but I don't like it strong either. When I was in Japan they had an odd contrast with their tea and other drinks. The tea was all extremely strong, and the fruity drinks were all extremely sweet. There was one a revolving sushi restraunt in Koshigaya that had really good tea. ^_^ I googled these images of the tea I was referring too. >.< > Tea in Japan < > Another < I've tryed other kinds of teas, like Rasberry, and some other fruity flavors. I'm not too big into those atall. My friend took me to this teahouse once where they had a massive selection of flavored teas. I had some chocolate rasberry tea or something. It was diffrent..it did taste some like chocolate and some rasberry, but I'd still go for the generic stuff.
 13. I guess I'd be considered boring then. I don't do anything, therefore I have no stories of me doing stupid things under the 'influence' of anything. :p However, the last family reunion I was at cousin ended up getting drunk. She can't control herself with alcohal, I swear. She has a kid now too, which made it an even stupider idea. Anyway, as I was about to leave I go to give her a hug and she grabs my chest muttering about 'big', blah, blah. Yeah, interesting.
 14. I think I liked that one best too. Here you go. And your very welcome, happy to help.
 15. I just realized the date of this thread. If you no longer want these then just ignore this. I made all three, you choose which you like best and I'll make a matching avatar. Unless you arn't happy with these results, let me know. 16. Hey I've been using size 1 font for awhile now. :p Something I do not miss about the old days is giant avatars and signatures. Although, I think Adam and James nipped that in the butt pretty quick. I can't stand going to a forum where its "free for all". People have like four banners in their signature, and an avatar as big as the screen. XD
 17. I didn't care for it.
The whole alien thing ruined it for me.
I did enjoy all the Indy action, though I did miss Sean Connery. :( And I agree with Dagger on this statement.
I just hope they don't try to pass the lead role to Shia LaBeouf in the future. He's good sidekick material, but no one could fill Harrison Ford's shoes.
Added spoilers. -Petie
 18.
Amtgard is a big one here in the Western US. I've been to tournaments with hundreds of other people, been to giant events at various settings, and and seen travelers from many different places. It's a sword and magic-based fighting game that's mostly popular in the southwest US, but is gaining populatiry in some european countries, Japan, and is moving its way around the country. I personally love it, though I haven't had a chance to play in a while, because of the thrill and exercise. Back in New Mexico people had seen us fight and thought it was some kind of gang war or something, seeing the padded swords as baseball bats :animesmil.
That sounds a lot like Dagorheir on my side of the US. I have a friend who was really into it years, and he still has friend's that do it often. We had Orks and other fantasy creatures back in the Dark Ages? Wow, you learn something new eveyday. I highly doubt I'll have any Ogres or trolls walking accross my backyard. o_O I don't see how one could actually make a television show about this though. Odd.
 19. I do eat breakfast. All you people who say you can't are weird. :p At this very momment I am eating Life cereal mixed with some off brand Cheerios, a little peanut butter and an apple. My breakfast varies every morning though. I try to eat healthy, and according to whether I'll be working out afterward. Usually a fruit, maybe some peanut butter, maybe some cereal. Occationally oatmeal, or eggs. I used to have yogurt, but I've found out that thats a bad idea if you plan on working out after. XD
 20.
I miss OB aim chats. Those are fun.
Oh! I had forgotten about those. Great times. I don't talk to many people from here outside of OB much anymore. Except for Boo, who is my ninja sidekick. I used to talk to James once in while, especially when The Matrix was big here, heh. I used to talk to Doc and Lost Phophet too, not to mention the old oldies I already mentioned. :p
 21. Ohhh, yes those days were teh bestest.

Flash
Warlock
TOPAZ
Old Member titles
desertshadow, and the buckets
Yeah, the art studio days
When post count was cool, lol
I do miss the ranking system from when I first started. Based on your post count you would have little stars, and a title which would change when you hit a certain amount of posts. I understand why we did away with it, but it was still fun. I miss a lot of other old members aswell, who I'm sure may still come here under diffrent names in secret. x,x
 22. I workout a lot. I work part time, so I go in at noon. That gives me plenty of time for working out. I usually run/walk in the park, or do the treadmill depending on the weather. Plus five hundred crunches. Five diffrent ones, one hundred of each. And full sit ups. I usually do fifty push ups at one time, then do more periodically throughout the day. I switch off though and do weights one day, then push ups the next day etc. A big one is martial arts. After work I'm there from 6(or 7, depending on the day) till almost ten everynight. Not on weekends though. I do Taekwondo, Muay Thai kickboxing, and some ground fighting. I prefer stand up to ground fighting though. I have two TKD classes, then the kickboxing class everynight. And lately my instructor has had us sparring the whole class(in the kickboxing)to prepair for our fight in Chicago in August. Those of us who are fighting, I think theres maybe ten people from my school who will be competing. Should be fun. When I get home from all that I'll do some crunches, and push ups. Not over doing though. I also like hiking, swimming, riding bikes, playing most sports but not on any team. I don't get to swim much though. Working out in any form is like a hobby for me. XD
 23. Drama in 8th gade? No. I never had any. I was shy, but I had a lot of friends, and I didn't keep anything bad from them. The only secerts I kept was my love for Dragonball Z, lol! I was embarressed, but that eventually changed and then everyone knew and it was all cool. :p Your still a kid in eigth grade, so I don't understand why people that age even get drama.
 24. I just got home from Israel today, and took over a thousand pictures, so heres a few. >In old Jerusalem< >Caesarea
 25.
Hello. I would like to have a banner using these pictures putting sasuke face on the left side and itachi's on the right with a greyish background with white swirls as for the text i would like it to be red and to say "I Will Have My Revenge" decently visible without being huge and fancy letters thank you very much :)
Ah, its nice to do some graphic work again. Let me know if you want something changed.
