1. Here you go. The colors don't realy match your avy, I know. If you want that changed, or something else, let me know.
2. I like waffles, but I hardly ever eat em'. There not really all that great for you. :o I think I like French Toast better. My mom used to make all these yummy breakfast meals when we were little. Now I usually have stuff like peanut butter and raisains, with an apple, half a protien bar. Depends whether I'll be working out before work, which usually I am.
3.
In essence, I'll be wasting away in Phoenix, Arizona for oh...two hours?
Sky Harbor FTW! I miss it. -,-; Anywoo. I don't think body piercings will set off the alarm. Mine didn't, unless they're made of something else. :p Put everything in baggies, lol. I used millions of them on my last trip. And sleeping never worked for me on flights. I stayed awake both going to and from Japan, 12 hours with five crappy movies playing back to back, in a small little seat. xD
4. Nothing at all. I never liked Valentines Day, I always thought it was a waste. Sweetest Day is even worse, lol. Actually I call Feb. 14 Arizona Day. I was born in AZ, but I don't currently live there, and I miss it. Because AZ became a state February 14, 1912. Really its kind of just a holiday between my mom, brother and I, heh. Its much more fun.
5. Er, she has a wide mouth. o,o; But really, this is great. I love the colors and the style. What program did you make this with? I'll be expecting more. ;)
6.
Topaz! Do you realize that she was the reason I even found theOtaku/OtakuBoards all those years ago? I was googling for information on my birthstone (topaz) and happened across her art. Since I loved DBZ at the time, I ended up bookmarking theOtaku and later joined OtakuBoards! These drawings bring back good memories. :catgirl: I'd like to see more real life pictures you've taken and tweaked. It seems you live in a beautiful area.
Lol, Topaz was my idol when I first came to OB. I still remember alot about her, which sounds oh so creepy. o_O; I posted most of what I know about her in that OB thread about old members. I have some of her old drawings still aswell, and almost all of them printed. I used them as refrences, and I'll tell you it helped me alot too. I always loved her style. Anyway, since you liked Beyond so much I made this and put it up on DA. Its an alright piece I guess. I took a picture of the sunrise one morning, where a new church was built, right behind my house. I manipulated each photo and put them all together. The last one is suppose to be eerie, the other two are just diffrent results I came up with. Its too big to post directly, so you'll have to go to the DA page. >Transformation
7.
TAEKWONDO FT-mother effing-W! I commend anyone who partakes in the absolutely wonderful martial arts that is TaeKwonDo. It makes me wish I stayed in it...*sighs* But anyways, what belt are you currently at? From what I can see, you’re a Black belt. I suppose the question should be: what degree? Or at least I’m pretty sure there are degrees. XP
Haha, yeah I'm a first degree black belt(1st Dan). I actually just had my first pre-test a few weeks ago. Once you get your BB there are(I think)six pre-tests, one every four months, untill you can go for Second Dan, and so forth. Each pre-test you only need to know your new form(called Kata in some martial arts), plus everything else you've learned since white belt. Anyway, enough ranting. Here is another pic from that tourny.
8. Thats creepy. Older women ftw? o_O Anyhoo, here are a few more pics. These are from a Taekwondo tournment we had in October. I'm the one in the black. In the last one I'm the one jumping.
9. Oi, been awhile since I've posted any art. I hope to get some feedback on them. :: Graphics :: >iNinjaBeyondGohan missing Goku< >Kubadu
10. Dating, ha, never heard of it. My first boyfriend was when I was real young, first kiss at thirteen, but I didn't go on a date untill I was seventeen, lol. I really don't go on many dates though. Of course I don't really meet new people either. I take one class at the Community college which isn't long enough to really socialize with anyone, I go to Taekwondo, but would never date anyone that I train with. It would be a desaster waiting to happen. I also work, and I see the same annoying people everyday. So basically I have no life, and no time anyway. Which really doesn't bother me. I do what I love(not including the job). I also have this awesome talent for attracting the real 'winners' too, so thats no good. Maybe if I found someone with the same beliefs, does martial arts, and Tricking, plus has a body like Bruce Lee, then yeah. Lol. Untill then, I'm happy where I am.
11.
Good point, but what about us religious folk who have turned the microscope on our faith, to test it as vigorously as scientists would their theories? I did not just beleive "God made it, end of story," as many people beleive we do. I have read articles in Christian apologetics that do put forth a compelling case for a creator. Agreed. I tend to think that religion has been backed up by science, more or less. We have this book that says God spoke into creation and things appeared. Science tells us a big bang may have started everyting, made the universe appear. An instantanteous "big bang" is consistent with creationism, not contradictory. ^_^' Then I look at other things science has discovered, like the DNA strand and it's complexity. It's a super-code unique to us that makes us who we are. By the nature of it's complexities, it lends to the idea of intelligent creation. We are all unique, according to the bible, and the fact that DNA is unique to everyone lends itself to that idea. You'll find vast amounts of data on creation theory too. The most compelling case for intelligent creation remains the complexity of the design, and we are reminded of this fact by the millions of dollars researchers and scientists have expeded to understand it. I agree that the Bible is not sceintific, it's the essentials of salvation. I believe God gave us the ability to think scientifically, so we could discover on our own how his creation works. We sometimes get a bad rap because the religious tend to shut down any notion of science, but I see that as a great shame. Boom, the universe appears. Seems biblical to me.
And I agree. I'm not going to get wrapped up in this lovely conversation, I'm just going to give you my opinion. :animesigh
12. Oi, I love your style. Its something I would do, heh. I think my favorite is the last one in the first post. I just love the images colors and gaussy, glowing look. Plus you have a good eye for image placement and text placement. I noticed alot of people have trouble with text placement. I agree with 8bit on 'Freedom Fighter', but I would also add maybe a little color behind the character, or lighten it behind the character. So she/he pops out more, and is easier to identify. Possibly cut off part of the left, its alot of open unused space. :/ Great work! Keep it coming.
13. I have tons of new photos, finally. Photo action. All but one taken today, thats why I'm posting so many at once. 14. I noticed that not many people reply to these threads, I think more people are pre-occupied with Graphic worm and what not. At least thats what I get when I post art; maybe two replies, and down the page it goes. Anyway, I like your style a lot. I've always enjoyed clean lineart and I love the detail.
15. I don't remember when the last time was that I posted in here. This is from sunday. :p
16. Korey
I work in a chain of supermarket stores (Albertsons) and I think that Wal-Mart isn't exactly the land of roses and sweet honeydew as people would like to think of it as.
Albertsons?! I remember that store! I'm from AZ, so this excites me since I no longer live there. :(
I happen to dislike Wal-Mart if only because it's always distressingly messy, totally disorganized, and generally a scene of ABSOLUTE chaos. I prefer Target because generally the employees can at least direct me in the general correct direction of what I need, I don't trip over merchandise littering the floor, and I'm not afraid of getting stabbed in Aisle 6.
I totaly agree with you on this. Most of the Wal-Marts I've been to have been like this, especially the one near me, and my city/town is suppose to "have money". You'd think they'd fix up wally world. :/ Although, sometimes Walmart has stuff that Target doesn't.
17. I went to Japan with a group of ninjas. A teacher at the HS I went to teaches ninjitsu near me. Anyway, while in Japan I took a class, and no I don't like it. Its just not my style. There were three main Sensei's they went to in Japan, well known names too, but I can't remember who I went to. He was a nice, small framed Japanese man(duh), who spoke very good english and constantly repeated "You must be sneaky... Sneaky, sneaky!" He said I had good form though, since I already do martial arts, so that was cool. Although I'm still the official ninja. Boo is my sidekick.
18. For snacks I like to grab an apple or a pear usually. Although chunky apple sauce has been a big one with me lately. I like to throw some wheat germ in it, frozen berries, some raisins & dry roasted peanuts. Yum.
19. When I'm sick I usually sit around and play video games. I couldn't sleep very much, so it was movies and games. With a cold I hate sleeping because when I wake up I feel even worse since you have to breath out your mouth because the nose is all stuffed up, which only makes your throat worse. Ick. XD
20. J-man, heh, I love that. A women at my church calls my brother J-man, because his name starts with "J". :p Anyway, I've been trying to compile a little list for Christmas. - Wii - Mario Galaxy - Zelda: Twilight Princess for the GCN - 8oz. Boxing gloves, my current ones spell really bad. - Some old cartoons like Tales Spin, or Dark Wing Duck, those sorts. - Phantom Hourglass for the DS - Super Paper Mario I love Christmas, and I know the true meaning, but it just isn't as exciting as when you're little. I could buy all that stuff myself, so it kind of takes the fun out of it. :/
21. We've had this game for years and I started it back in 2003 and had never finished, or got very far at all. I can't remember why though. Anyhoo, I got back into it just recently, and have been hooked. I'm hoping to get Twilight Princess soon; for GCN, but I don't know if its worth the purchase.
22.
I don't want these for Christmas, it's just that now is the time the decent games have com out for the Wii. But getting one at this time of year is so damn hard because Christmas grannies want to get them for their Lego-Star-Wars-FIFA-Streets-playing grand kids. Real gamers should have priority.
Wow, thats my wishlist, almost exactly. Except instead of Twilight Princess for Wii I want it for GC, since I have that in my room right now. And I want Super Paper Mario instead of Metroid. There is a Boxing game I want for Wii too, but I don't know what its called. So far this is my list: Wii Super Mario Galaxy Super Paper Mario Zelda: Phantom Hourglass Zelda: Twilight Princess for GameCube 8 oz. boxing gloves; my current ones smell really bad since I use them so much. Baby powder and Fabreeze doesn't work. Nintendo Monopoly; I don't play Monopoly much, but I might if I had this, I mean come on, little Nintendo pieces. Priceless. I had more ideas that I forgot. XD
23. I don't do black friday shopping. Although, I thought it would be fun if someone started a fight so I could join in. I want a Wii so badly, and I have the money, but dropping $250 all at once always makes me feel guilty for my purchase. I went to GameStop a few days before black friday, and the man said people would probebly be lining up at 11PM the night before to get one. I thought about doing it, except Thanksgiving night I had to drive to my mom's, plus I was sick so standing out in the cold all night wouldn't be too bright.
24. Between my brother and I. All in working order. - Intellivision - 2 Sega Genesis plus 32x - Nintendo - 2 Nintendo 64s - DreamCast - Gameboy (the brick; bought this while in Japan for a measly 500 Yen) - Gameboy Pocket - GameBoy Color - Gameboy Advance -2 Gameboy DS Lites - GameCube Just recently bought my brother a white DS and a game, as an late birthday present. Mine I bought exactly a year ago, poor thing is a year old already. Wii is my next goal. I can afford it, but dropping that much money all at once always makes me cringe.
25. Psh, I had DSL, and it was great. Fast, and with Wifi. However, my dad cut it out so for the last few months my brother managed to get some temporary dial-up. Which means it expires after 20 hrs. each month. So I'm currently on Juno dial up, and I should be about up with my time. :/ I could afford to get the DSL back up myself but I have other bills so I really don't want to spend the money.
