I love roller coasters. My first roller coaster was when I was I think 11 years old at Cedar Point. It was called the Mine Ride, a wooden coaster. My first looped one was the Corkscrew, also at Cedar Point. I've been to Cedar Point, Geauga Lake(it was Six Flags when I went), and Castles and Coasters in Phoenix, AZ. I recommend Cedar Point! Its located in Sandusky, Ohio. It has one of the largest amount of roller coasters at one park. My favorite one is the Millinium Force, so awesome! I love loops, big drops, and sharp turns. I don't do spinning rides, but coasters I'm all for.

This thread pops up every few months. I do miss the good old days. I was fourteen when I joined, and just four weeks ago I turned 21. So when I say I miss the good old days, it was being a kid and coming to OB everyday for hours. So yes, I do mis the old members. I'm not able to get on as much as I used to now anyway to make new friends, so I cling to the old. ;) I still love this place and come everytime I'm on. Congrats Asuka!!!

Oh how I miss Japan, great memories. ^_^ Anyway, I recommend getting traditional bowls or something. If you like that kind of thing. You can get them really cheap and most local stores such as Lawson or the 100¥(100 Yen store), its like a dollar store. Or really cool mugs, which I got for my mom in Narita airport which look really cool. Pocky is a definite must(yes you can get them anywhere, but this is in Japan), also Pucca(sort of like pocky except they're shaped like animal crackers with chocolate or cheesecake filling), Every Burger(little tiny mini chocolate burgers), Kit Kats(they have crazy flavored Kit Kats over there, Mango/Melon or Green Tea, plus many more), Fuku Fuku Taiyaki Chocolate(fish wafer things). If you like anime theres tons of cool action figures or stuffed animals, even the vending machines with toys are awesome, so much better than the crap in vending machines here. You can get a cool Mario DS stylis, or Mario plush key chains, etc. Kimonos, or a Happi; but these can be quite pricey. I don't recommend Ginza or Roppongi Hills. Ginza is extremely expensive district, very high class. Unless she has the money. :/ Pictures are a must, tons of pictures. Hope that helps.

I can't remember any bad baby sitter experiances, but I do remember a daycare incident. I was probebly 5 or so. The place was called Palo Alto, in Phoenix, AZ. Anyway, I had this stuffed dog I always had with me(which I still have), and for some reason the women working there woudn't give it back. I remember it was nap time, it was dark, I was crying and the women was holding my dog and she had her foot on the chest of another kid holding him down, while he was crying. Apparentlly this women shouldn't have been working with kids.

I used to love pop. I would the stuff all the time, I was pretty much addicted too. Untill a few years ago. I think it was in 9th grade; I just stopped drinking pop completely. Now I just don't, ever. Its horrible for you, and is way too sweet.

I really like the banner, although the heart is kind of random. Well the bottom text looks oddly placed aswell too, but I really love the colors. I'm not sure about the layout image. Did you make it yourself? o,O;

Hm, delicious. I never used just water for my hot chocolate, it tastes bad. I'll use milk, or I put a little water in it with the milk to decrease the calories, yay. Anyhoo, I like putting cinnomin in it aswell, or coffee, wich then turns it into more of a Mocha, mmm.

Ah, I have finally checked the OB calender. I share my birthday, September 15 with Circéus & The Harlequin. There are others, but I doubt most of them even come here anymore, and these two are more well known. Go us! I'm having quite a bit of fun with this. I found some interesting happening in history that occured on my birthday, and births. September 15th in History 1915: Tanks used for the first time, by the British in the Somme 1935: The Third Reich, in Germany, adopts the 'Swastika' as the national flag 1940: Battle of Britain ends with RAF victory 1974: The civil war in Beirut, Lebanon, breaks out between Christians and Muslims September 15th birthdays 1857: William Taft, Former (27th) American President 1890: Agatha Christie, English author 1894: Jean Renoir, French film director 1254 - Marco Polo, Italian explorer 1857 - William Howard Taft, 27th President of the United States 1984 - Prince Henry of Wales

I have lots of blankets, but only one on my bed. It was originally a quilt that got all raggedy over the years, so my mom sewed two sheets together, with the quilt inside. So now its a whole new blanket, recycled! Its light blue with some flowery designs, not crazy a floral pattern though. O_O I have one blanket on my bed, but I think I have three sheets... I love sheets! They are cozy in the springtime, and when its cool out in the fall, or winter, I pile them on. Well, actually I keep them in the summer too, I just don't actaully put them all on me. One sheet is white with light green stripes, another is this really faded greenish/blue with light flowers on it, the other is light green. As you can see, my favorite colors are blue and green. Ah Trigun, such awesomeness. Anyway, I love the coloring, its excellent! Although I must say the only big problem I see is with the head. Its just odd- not very Vash. The hair reminds me more of teen Gohan's in DBZ, except with more defined hair lines. Honestly, the Vash style I always found to be quite difficult, so I can't really give you any solid advice as how to fix the head, except practice. XD It is a great piece overall; the coat, and wall look great. I especially like the Wanted poster, nice touch.

I'm not sure who I share a birthday with here, I used to know, too lazy to look at the calander at the moment. As for famous people, I know I share my birthday, which is September 15th with Agatha Christi. Thats all I can think of.

I usually only use Dove soap. It smells nice, and its cheap. I like body wash too, and I'll get it occationally; especially if its that scrub stuff with those little beads. Gets the dead skin of so your nice and smooth. I agree that most of those Axe products smell disgusting! I only like the Desert-something body wash from Axe. I bought that for my brother...I used it once too, heh. As for shampoo, I use some Dove stuff for the scalp(more so my hair doesn't get greasy, ew), and Dove conditioner thats good for the ends of your hair. Plus once a week I use a clarifying shampoo since I use hairspray. Yeah, its loads of fun.

Ah, how awesome. I visited Japan in June/July. It was a great experience. While there I did meet two guys who were living there and teaching english. Both were from diffrent parts of england. The older gentlemen(Jonothan) spoke fluent Japanese. The other guy was Callan, he was twenty-four I think. Callan spoke no Japanese atall, except for a few words he picked up from the kids of course. Callan told me his job was quite easy. He told me that he taught elementary school children. In the monring he played football with them, which I guess would be like gym or P.E., whatever its called over there. Then lunch, then he taught them basic words, I mean really basic words. For example, one day he said he did a whole class on fruits and vegetables. Of course the teacing varies I'm sure, especially from age groups. Teachers are required to basically dress formal when teaching in Japan, however this probebly varies aswell. I know Callan didn't follow this code, lol. As for the traveling and getting around. For me, since I only know a few words of Japanese, when paying for something if I wasn't sure of the price, or what the cahier said, I would basically hold out my money and look confused, this works. Japanese are very polite, and its rare to be ripped off. However, it is possible. The Japanese are usually quiet and keep to themselves. On trains the only people you usually hear talking are children, or parents and children. Usually it quiet. Most people are either playing games on their cell phones, listening to music with their heahphones, or playing there Gameboy DS. Even the elderly are playing games on the cell phones. When going into restraunts, if you can't read what the dish is, just point to it. Do not tip, this is considered an insalt in Japan. Although, I have heard that in Tokyo they don't mind since it is more Western. I never tried it myself though. Places to go? There are tons of places. Tokyo Tower is beautiful, I was there at night. Yokohama, you can watch baseball games here. The Emperial Palace. You can go inside I think, but you need to make arrangements like three weeks in advance. I only saw the outside, but I got a few good pictures. Asakusa is great for shopping, and has alot of shrines, and alot of other foreigners. It was weird seeing more Americans there. Kyoto and Osaka I'm told are quite amazing, by I wasn't able to go. They were over four hours away from where I was staying. Mt. Fuji! I wanted so badly to climb Fuji, but it opened two days before I had to leave. Theres so much more to see, just look online or in a travel book. That reminds me..get a travel book of Japan. I have Frodors Japan. It helps with ideas of where to go, prices, etc. Plus mine came with a map of the train system. If I think of anything else I'll post it.

I just recently broke down and got an Ipod Nano after getting back from Japan and feeling quite left out after seeing all the Japanese using them on the trains and whatnot. My friend went with me, and she has the 30 GIG black Ipod video..I think. I wouldn't really know, I never liked Apple. Anyway, she tryed to talk me into buying the same one she had for, what - $290 or something? I don't think so. So I went with the Green Ipod Nano, and bought a blue case. I regret the case, its total crap. I need to get a new one, eventually. I only have maybe 30 songs on there, and they're all from CDs I already have and music my friend put on there for me. I don't know whether I'll waste the money for itunes, I don't use it that much as it is. When I walk/run in the park I don't want to listen to music, I like listening to nature. I don't like spending so much money on electronics. Not that I don't love them, or have the money, but I try to save, so I always regret it after. My friend talked me into buying my current black DS back in March aswell. Of course I already wanted one, I just didn't want to spend the money. At the time I was saving for Japan. She should seriously be a sales person.

Oh Boo, you are still amazing. I didn't realize you did such wonderful photography. Maybe I did - but I forgot. XD Anyhoo. I like the first one best. I love the angle, and the contrast between the dull monotone look to the vibrant flowers. Are these just random people? If so, you better have a permit, or were you being ninja? This is essential in order to be my sidekick you know. ^_~

I guess I have a few things. I'm proud of my drawing abilities. I praticed alot growing up because I loved it so much and I've become considerably better. Nowadays I don't have much time to draw like I used to, but I still enjoy it when I can. My Taekwondo. I've been doing it for almost three years(in September), and I'll be testing for my blackbelt soon. I love it. My physical abilities. I workout alot, and do alot of TKD and combat classes. I love doing ab work outs.I've been called a beast and an animal from my ab stuff I do, lol! Taekwondo, God, and working out are my three biggest passions, heh. Alright, enough gloating. Now I just feel embarassed. ^_^;
I am also humble of these things as well. God can easily take away those things that He so readily gives. I am proud that He loves me and also humble for that fact.
Quoting Japan_86

1. Do you have any birthday traditions? Not really, aside from the basic cake, ice cream and presents. Which has changed slightly now that I'm older. 2. What was your best birthday present ever? (if you say 'life' I'll slap you!) I got roller blades when I was maybe 7 or 8 years old. I was soo excited! I've gotten other extravagent gifts since, but I just remember how excited I was since I'd been wanting them. 3. Has knowing your age ever given you a certain midnset? Did you ever feel like you'd passed a certain rung or like you had to change? Well of course I did. When I was 10 it seemed like a big deal, double digits baby! When I was 13 it was, I'm a teenager! 16, er I am legal to get a license, but I didn't, so that wasn't much diffrent. Actually, when your a kid every age seems so much older. Remember the days when you would get into little arguments over your age with other kids. "How old are you?" "I'm 8." " I'm 9 so I'm older!" But seriously, I'll be 21 this September, and I won't be changing much of anything, and it won't feel any diffrent. I don't drink, so it won't be a big deal for me. I voted in the 2004 election when I was eighteen, so I guess eighteen was a big deal. 4. What was your favorite birthday? Hm, I liked all of my birthdays, all great memories. Maybe I'll edit this later...

I do believe in God. Santa Clause did exist, as St. Nicholas. Duh. Anyway, I was one of those kids who didn't want to let go. I miss those days actually, Christmas presents seemed more exciting. I'm not sure how old I was when I figured it out. The Easter Bunny, and the Tooth Fairy took me awhile too. Hey, I've always had a big imagination. Besides, my parents were good with hiding these. One year after I lost a tooth my parents put glitter(fairy dust) into my doll house, with this little tiny letter which was supposed to be from the Tooth Fairy, which they bought somewhere. It was so clever though. Faeries I never believed in, though I did sort of believe in Leprichauns for a little while. Aliens, I don't know, and I don't really care.

Ah, finaly someone else who enjoys world music like me. People usually have no idea what I'm talking about when I say I like world music. Those hermits. Anyway; I love Middle Eastern music, and Chinese, Japanese. I just recently bought this CD called Pharaoh Lounge, with a picture of King Tut's mask on the cover with a blackish/maroon backdrop with fading Egyptian heiroglyphs. It has a mixture of Middle Eastern, India, Europe, Africa, and electronica. Its pretty good. I've been trying to find some real good Middle Eastern music, but its hard. Alot of the cds I've looked at are crap. I don't actually have any Japanese, or Chinese music,(traditional) except what I've heard on various soundtracks and whatnot. I do have a few J-rock cds, two I bought in Japan.

I really liked it. I always expect the movie to be diffrent than the book. I'm not going to go into detail about my thoughts, because I don't feel like it. :p But I will say that I pictured Doloris Umbrige to be exatly that way. O_O
