1.
In the humble words of CHarlie Brown: AUGHHHH!!! I hate my name. It's Richard but my friends call me Ricky or Rick. But some things are better left unsaid people... better left unsaid. My english teacher calls me Ricko. When she wrote my name on the seating chart she put the first letter of my last name too close to the 'K' in Rick. (First year to use it by the way) Now in her class when I'm in trouble she'll yell Ricko... RICKO!! Sorry for the rant... but you know what I mean don't yall? But thankfully people just call me Hero or as DB calls me F-H her on the OB. Thank god for user name's.
Thats my dad's name. Telemarketers and other random companies used to call the house and ask for Rick. He used to get really annoyed. This doesn't happen so much anymore. People don't have trouble with my name, its my last name that get em'. L - o - c - k - e - r. Yes, like a locker. I get people misunderstanding me and saying Walker. Or they can't spell it. It gets on my nerves sometimes. I had a teacher in 7th grade ask if I had a cousin named Jim. I didn't understand what he men't at first, lol.
2. I've been here forever. Six years. Famous members? Yeah, read Otakupedia. All of OBs history can be found in there. Charles is pretty famous. I think he deserves a Star in Hollywood, where they put those things. Yeah. OB used to have signature fads. Example, alot of people had a .Hack//SIGN banner or soemthing. Currently non that I can think of.
3. The Tick is teh shexness. This actualy still comes on once in awhile on Toon Disney. Ha. Tick's Brain: Tick, this is your mind speaking. Tick: Oh. Hello. Tick's Brain: Sorry I haven't been around much lately but I'm easily distracted by shiny objects. What about Alf? Or was that the 80s? I can't remember. I know I used to watch it so it may have started in the late 80s.
4. My parents split up when I was twelve, my brother ten years old. I'll tell you how that happened, its interesting. My parents were argueing one day about something, or things, I have no idea. Well I think something happened to our phones, coincidentally, and my aunt was trying to call. So she couldn't get ahold of us and thought my dad had gone crazy or something and she actually called the police. I remember seeing two police men walking up my backyard. I have no idea why they didn't just come from the front. Needless to say, my mom took us to our aunt's(technically this is my mom's cousin, so she isn't really an aunt :p). So we stayed there for a few days. My dad didn't do anything wrong though. My aunt just freaked out. So thats something to look back on and laugh. Of course my dad probebly wouldn't find it so funny. Dad stayed at the house and my mom moved into an apartment down the street, near my aunt. It was hard for us. I never thought it was my fault though, I just didn't understand why my parents couldn't work things out. Actually, in some ways it was kind of fun...in a diffrent way. What I mean is, we had another home, with a room, and another cat. However, my parents actually did get back together. I think my mom lived in that apartment for a few months. There never was any court or anything, and we didn't really 'live' at either, we just went back and forth for that short time. My mom told me she wanted to work things out, so she did go back. But her main reason was for us, since we were still young she knew how hard this would be for us. She told me this later of course, once I got older. So my parents eventually did get devorced. I was seventeen I think, so its been about three and a half years. I figured it was going to happen, my mom was at the point where she just got irritated at my dad. It really didn't bother me too much actually, this time around. I was older, and I knew my parents loved me. They still cared about each other, just not in that same way. So my mom moved into a different apartment and lived there for about two years. She had gotten layed off a year ago, so she would take me to work and stuff so I could save up for a car. This helped me tremedously. So after I got my car she moved an hour away. Now I can visit her. We're kind of diffrent though..my mom will come here to visit us, since she's been between jobs. My dad is at work and has no problem with her being in the house. She'll even do the dishes or clean whatever, lol. Honestly, I'm so used to the way things are right now that I couldn't really imagine living with both of my parents. I have such a good relationship with my mom so its no problem. They're still friends, or atleast they talk. My mom actually got re-married, but we've known this guy since we were babies. Er, actually he knew our dad before I was born, so its no big deal. The situation between him and my dad is a long story, which I won't get into. My dad just recently(within the past 5 weeks) got a girlfriend. Its so strange to, simply because I never thought he would because he's always busy. But I'm happy for him. So anyway, but to the topic. Divorce affects everyone diffrently. Like I said I was bummed when they split, but they got back together. When they did devorce, it wasn't bad. For younger children, or anyone who might need it in this situation, therapy might be good. My mom had my brother and I go when they split up. I don't know how much we really benifited from it, except the mine gave me a free sketchbook and let me draw this huge picture during one of the 'sessions'. Everyone is diffrent though. I think my dad had a harder time with it than my mom, or my brother and I. We excepted it, he couldn't for awhile.
5. Hm, I'll see the following.. -Spider Man 3 -Pirates of the Carribbean 3: At World's End -Oceans13 (maybe, I hated the second one) -Evan Almighty (this is a possiblility, even though its not Jim Carrey) -Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix -The Simpsons Movie (well duh) -The Bourne Ultimatum -Rush Hour 3 -The Last Legion(I don't know much about this, but I read its an action, adventure, war genre, so it could be good) I also want to see Ratatouille.
6. I miss my childhood so much, heh. I loved the 90s. All the "good" cartoons were around that time. Such as.. - Sonic the Hedgehog - Garfield and Friends - Earthworm Jim - Chip N' Dale Rescue Rangers - Tale Spin - Darkwing Duck - Inspector Gadget - Quack Pack - Duck Tales - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles(this may have been started in the 80s, but I watched it in the 90s) - Ace Ventura >LinkLink
7. I like pie better than cake. Pie is teh bestestness. The crust is my favorite part..or maybe the filling. I can't decide. Either way, I'd pick pie over cake anyday. Pwn. Stawberry Rhubarb, cherry, pumpkin, apple, probebly any pie. Although Mencemeat Pie was never very appealing to me. Ick. Edit: One other thing. Cake makes me feel sick afterwards, pie does not. I can pig out on pie. XD
8. I went to prom, and it wasn't anything special. It kind of sucked. I went because I didn't go to any school functions throughout high school, so why not go to prom? I never dress up like that either, so I wanted to do it once. My prom was May 6th, 2005. :3 It was held somerwhere in Westlake, OH, I can't remember where exactly. My dress was light blue, with little flowers embroidered at the top, no shoulder straps. I still have it. My shoes were white. I was asked by several people, who I turned down. So I went alone; to just hang out with friends. Well they had dates so that was a stupid idea. Also, it was freezing inside, and the food was disgusting. It was suppose to be chicken parmesean, and salad. Well there was something definetily wrong with the the salad. Some chocolate cake thing for desert. Random beverages you could get at the "bar" area. But hey, I don't actually regret going. It didn't do anything for me though, lol. Here is a picture of me at my prom, with a few people. I'm the one in the blue dress. I used to like this picture. Ha, now I think its ugly. >SPX Prom
9.
He's out of his anime phase and is now into the wannabe gangster phase. I had his myspace at some point, but I seem ot have lost it. *shrugs*
Oh that is so sad. Stupid ganster phase! Word. Anyway, I just found the old site Queen Asuka had up of pictures from most members of OB at that time. 10. I've had my share of lovely 'moments'. However, I haven't thrown up in along time; I honestly can't remember the last time. Until today. I've been feeling under the weather since friday. Nothing major, just a scratchy throat and my nose was irritating me. Fast forward to today. I woke up feeling like crap. I forced myself to drive to school; I go to the local college for one class. Normally when I get home I exercise, of course today I decided to take a brake. So I showered, and got into my pajamas, and layed on the couch in front of the t.v. I have to be at work by noon, so I decided to relax untill I had to go. For lunch I made some Lipton Chicken Noodle soup. Its yummy stuff. So I had that, a few cups of it. As I was about to eat a third cup(mind you the cup isn't that big) I began to feel nauseous. I really don't know what triggered it exactly, because my stomach was fine up untill that point. I tryed to hold it back, but I knew I couldn't do it. So there into that ivory toilet went all my soup. Its such a disgusting feeling. Luckily all I had in me was that soup, so thats all it tasted like. After a few good, nasty 'spills' I was through. What makes this so funny is afterwards I blew my nose, and it was yellow with noodles, lol! When I called my dad and told him I'd decided to call off work, and I told him about it, he cracked up - saying it sounded like something from a Jim Carrey movie. Haha. So that is my most recent experiance. :p I felt fine afterwards too..except for the cold symptoms I still have. So the nauscea is a mystery. Although it could have been the half Zinc I took before hand. I've noticed that Zinc does make me feel nauseated, so I started taking half and I'm normally fine, so who knows.

13. Oh how I love thinking back to the good ol' days. I'm always happy to read of our old members. I've galnced at every post in this thread, all nineteen pages, and I don't think anything about Topaz has been fully done. So I am here to save the day! I it has been posted, my mistake. ^,^; I was almost obsessed with her because of her art. I actually have her to thank for getting me to evolve even more in my art. I used to go into the Otaku chatroom and boast of her awesome work to everyone, lol. When I met her she was 17 years old, I was a mere fourteen. TOPAZ Her real name was Mary Young, born October 23, 1983. She lived in, I think South Carolina, or North. I'm not sure. The name Topaz she used because that was the name of her dog; she loved her dog. She was part Japanese, and loved Vegeta. Topaz had created a character for herself called >ZeroTOPAZTrohan
14. Alright, I'm not going to C/C on all of them, because frankly I'm feeling lazy right now. Anyway, I like your style, its diffrent. I love the text affects, especially the "Speechless" one. I've done something simalar to this before. My favorites are "Ong Bok" and the Cloud banners. Ong Bok is hand down the best martial artist movie ever, IMO. I do have some suggestions with that one. I think you should dabble with color for it; for example, if you have the grey/black, whatever in a separete layer making it monotone then erase that over Ting so he has the original colors. Or maybe lower the opacity of the dark layers to give it just a tad of color. Cloud is nice, I love the light, happy colors. It remindes me of spring. The light blue with light grey, yellow, etc. is nice eye candy for me. XD Forgive me for the way I typed this, it sounds weird to me now that I read over it, lol. Its very early. ^_^;
15. What is this 'board' game you speak of? Sounds interesting. Do you use furnished wood for this, or do you rape a tree for it? Exciting! Anyway. I loved board games when I was younger. Sorry!, Candy Land, Monopoly, Clue, Scrabble, Pictionary, and Jumanji(yes from the movie. I still love all of these. I don't play them much anymore, but thats just lack of time. When I do get to play its always fun. Hm, does Twister count? Because I love Twister too; I'm really flexible so this is always awesome! Unless you have someone's butt in your face, and they 'accidentally' let out a deadly one. That can be ugly.
16. My favorites actually go in the order they are. Spring, then summer, then fall(autumn), then winter. However, winter is way down there on that list. I can't stand cold weather. I love spring because the weather is perfect(or course where I live the weather sucks, so this doesn't necissarily apply), I love the when everything blooms, and the grass becomes green, I love all the smells, and the sounds. I love nature. Summer is awesome too. You can go swimming, wear shorts and other apperal that you couldn't(shouldn't)wear in winter; here. Lol. The birds are always active and everything is so alive. The sun is always shinning. I'm an Arizona girl, so sunshine and warm weather are my forte'. I will move back when I get the chance. Fall/autumn, I lovet he colors of the trees and the smell of the leaves. Indian summers are the best. Winter, er, its close to Christmas. Christmas is one of my favorite holidays, so thats cool. I hate driving in snow, and I absolutely despise cold weather!
17. I've gone through fazes. As a child it was whatever my mom bought me, in middle school I really only liked "normal"(not sure whatthey would be called)legnth socks with the Tommy Hilfiger logo on them. They were white with that little logo on the top of the ankle/shin/whatever. I don't know why I liked them so much but I did. I actually still have them too, heh. Although, I think they've stopped making them in that length because I can't find them anymore. I also had the occational colorful socks with some pattern on them. So then I shifted to plane white Hanes socks. Wore these forver. I was always strongly against 'all' ankle socks. I hated the way they looked. Of course last year I was unwillingly(or not)introduced to ankle socks. Not the ones you can't see with your shoes on, the ones alittle higher up; whatever they're called. Now I love them, lol! They're the best for summer too, so much extra breath-eage! So now its all the white ankle socks for me; my older Hanes and Hilfiger socks get too warm for my footsies. I'll wear em' when I'm out of the others though. XD I do still wear colorful patternized socks to bed though, they're perfect for this. I usually put lotion on my feet then put these socks on, since they're pretty thin and breathable. Doing my Taekwondo can really do a number on your feet, so yeah, its a must. Yummy, no? ^_~; I sure can talk alot about socks.
18.
Then there is Vaction with the Family. The fams hasn't been on a real vacation in years, and this year we're going to Washington, DC... fun?
I'd love to go to Washington D.C. I like visiting historical places, and I've never been there. The last time my family and I went on an actual vacation was when we last went camping, in PA, back in 2001. I miss camping, we did this alot when I was younger. Not in PA though, I didn't like it there. Anyway, this summer should be awesome. My little brother gratuates from high school this year, so that should be exciting. Which means my grandma will be coming to visit aswell. I haven't seen her in two years, for my gratuation. I am also planning a trip to Japan too. I'll be going with a group of ninjas, literally. A friend of mine went with them two years ago, and so she'll be going again. The instructor is a teacher at the high school we went too and he goes every year with some of his ninja students(of course he doesn't pay for there trip). To train with Soke Masaaki Hatsumi. Its Bujinkun ninjitsu that they do. So anywhoo, my trip will be from June 19 to July 3rd. I have already sent for my passport(expidited), so my next step is the plane ticket. I have been saving for this trip for months. I have been working at this job(in a warehouse) for a year and five months so far, and I'm not sure whether I'll quit, or try to get two weeks off. I have a week of vacation I can use, but an extra week is alot to ask, and I would have to let them know now. I am tired of the place, but the hours and pay is good for me at this point. We shall see. I'll also be training alot this summer; my black belt test will be in august, as long as I'm ready of course. So my grandma wants to come back and see this..I'm not sure I want an audience. XD Thats pretty much it I guess, aside from the usual summer activities, possible family reunions to attend, more working out, and such.
19. I've actually just thought of a few more. - I can't stand country, rap/hip hop. - I hate the "gangster" look. - When people get those beast speakers for their car and turn the bass up so the whole freakin world can hear it! Ahhh! I hate this. I just want to get out, bust the stupid thing, punch them, then drive off. It hurts my ears and I'm not even in the car with them.
20. Oh I have many. I absolutely can't stand seeing peopke on there cell phone while driving, I hate those stupid things. I wish it was illegal where I live. There is a city near by where it is. I hate when people are talking on there cell phone in the store and talking loud enough for the whole world to hear. I can't stand when people 'ride' you while driving. I just want to smack em'. When people try to pass you on a double-yellow line road. We've already had an accident on our street from some moron doing this and getting plowed by another vehicle. It scared the crap out of me when I saw it happen! :animeangr
21. Ear stabbing time! I have to listen to the same radio station every single day; for the past year and half. And I don't like most of the music on the station, which makes it ten times worse. The station is Q104, for those who live in the same vicinity. My Humps would be on my list too, I can't stand that song. Others are... I'm in love with a Stripper Anything from Beyonce' Waiting on the World to Change My Love Anything rap. The list just keeps on going. That Cascada song was actually one of the few I actually liked, because I like the techno-y beat.
22. I loved both Paper Mario games, so this is an awesome treat. The only problem is that I don't own a Wii, so yeah that could prevent me from playing just a tad. XD I'm not sure about the "boxy" trees though. I think it makes the screen look too cluttered.
23. You know, this is very good. My first thought was Retribution, this reminds me of his work; I least I think it was him. Its been awhile. I also thought 9/11 at first aswell. Anyway, I adore the colors, and the blending. You see this style of art alot, or at least I do, with the circles floating about. They seem to be enhanced with the stroke which I never really thought to do, but it makes such a diffrence. My only problem with it is the plane; it just seems like such a deep blue and it takes the focus off the rest of the piece. I think a duller blue might be best. I'd try it myself, but I don't have the time at the moment. XD Awesome job Hatake Ninjah.
24. There are alot of members I like, of course in the sake of time, I'll only name a few. Boo: He is amazing. I always enjoy talking to him. Actually he is my right hand man in Ninja-ness. Everytime I talk to him I'm inspired to make something witty. I make him alot of banners, lol. James: Of course I would mention him. Him and I used to talk on aim alot, well not alot but often I guess. His intelligent and fun to chat with, and we both loved Matrix to no end, lol. Hittokiri Zero: We don't really talk much, we used to more so, sort of. I have always enjoyed his artwork. No one knows me, and I've been here forever, lol.
25. I think I'd whip out my holi-Duke, or the shrinker/expander. Maybe not. I'll just kick them in the head, thats always worked for me. Edit: Reply to Allamorph below me. Yes, indeed. :animestun
