I've missed OB Day! I've been here over fifteen years, woohoo! I'm sorry to hear about what you're going through Desbreko!

I love working out. I was really active as a kid, and thin, but once I hit fifteen I was really lazy. I was on here A LOT those days, lol! I started gaining weight, changing hormones, poor diet, and lack of exercise are a bad combo. My mom was always walking in the park, so she is the one who really got me motivated. I started walking with her, then I'd eventually go to the park on my own. I started Taekwondo around that age too, so that influenced me even more to be fit. That started over a decade ago, holy crap! My working out consists of working out at home, and training in Taekwondo and Muay Thai. Tuesday and Thursday I lift, I'm big on having muscle and strength (I have bigger muscles then my husband, lol), plus run for about 40 mins., or walk at the highest incline for an hour. I started a push up routine recently aswell which consists of 10 normal push ups, 10 wide, 10 w/arms closer to the body, 10 incline and 10 decline. 1 minute rest in between sets, with a total of six sets. 300 to 400 crunches, and the use of a weight machine I have at home. So that is Tuesday and Thursday's. In the evening on those days I train martial arts for two hours. Mon., Wed., fri., I will generally do cardio of either running, or bike. With 100 lunges, and other leg exercises. Sometimes bag work, since I have a heavy bag set up in my basement. Saturday I'll usually go to training, but it all depends on my work schedule. Everyone has a different type of motivation, and everyone is in a different place in their life. I love being strong, martial arts has always been my motivation.

Absolutely, this sounds awesome. I miss the Boards and the time I spent here. It was a huge part of my life because I was here for so long and great relationships with others.

I only read a portion of this thread, way too much for me to read right now. This place was hoppin' back in its hay day, and I do miss that. Although I wouldn't want to go back to being fourteen again though. I miss trolling the net for various DBZ websites and trying to mimic their site layouts in my digital art. I loved looking at awesome artistic site layouts. Eh..but that's off subject. I do agree, with all the other forms of social media communication message boards are taking a beating. I used to get on OB chat, I wasn't necessarily a regular though. But it was pretty busy back then.

Liamc2, and Lyndy: Haha, super late response from me... Thanks, my wedding was an asian theme. I never had a "dream" wedding idea. We had to pay for our wedding so we were doing it how we wanted. Ceremony at the church he grew up at, reception in our backyard. It was not a traditional reception. Shorts and t-shirts. We had dodgeball. Everyone had a blast, topped any wedding I've ever been to. Lol

Eh, I really can't add anything notable or significant to this conversation/discussion that hasn't already been stated, but I will throw my two cents in.   Like those before me have already stated, this feud has been going on throughout history, I don't believe it will diplomatically be resolved(peacefully) anytime soon.  Or ever. I may not fully understand the "land feud" between Israel and Palestine, this has happened to people in other countries throughout history, and we(man), still does it to tribes in remote regions. North America was inhabited before our pompous white asses came and took over. ;)   Israel is such a tiny country, it still amazes me that after thousands of years they are still fighting to keep it(I realize it didn't "officially" become a country until 1948).    The religious feud between Israel and the Arab world(I apologize if I am not politically correct)I actually understand more because different beliefs can make people crazy. Both sides are always right, "you don't believe me, you should die."   Off topic a little...   I researched a lot about Israel before I went(in doing so is what made me even want go). It's a beautiful country. It was peaceful while I was there, however there were still pockets of areas we were not allowed to go(Jericho). I went through check points, and I've seen the giant wall seperating Bethlehem and Jerusalem. Going into Bethlehem(Palestinian side) was like entering another world compared to Jerusalem. It's run down and dirty, Jerusalem is much cleaner and kept(building weren't vandalized and falling apart).

Lol, I guess it's "my thing". I miss the days when I was on here sharing my artwork and viewing others so consistently.

I haven't posted any artwork here in years! I used to love posting my drawings and graphics here. Anyway, these are random drawings that I've done over the past year or so. I haven't had a working scanner in five years, so these pictures were taken with my iPod. So I do apologize. After I moved out I've moved every year, and through that time I never had a consistent computer set up. Now my scanner is outdated... The first image I did in a notebook for a college English class. It's a Muay Thai fighter. The second is various Dragonball Z sketches. Vegeta is actually a couple years old, I just used the same page for the other characters. This is just a random drawing. This one looks better in color, but I don't have that on my iPod. The last image was actually a gift for my friend's baby shower. I used the wrapping paper inside out and drew a picture in each little square. There's more squares filled than what is shown but I won't bore you with that... I have a lot more, but I don't take a picture of all my art, these i just happened to have on my iPod so i thought I would share them.

Holy crap, the graphic worm! I remember mine seemed to ruin the flow and Boo had to fix it. Lol! I loved creating artwork and showing it here though. Such awesome times.

I noticed that this thread is still on the first page so I figured I'd update on Desmo. I know in the past bringing back old topics was always frowned upon, however, since it was still on the first page.... :D Desmo is two years old now. We live in a bigger house than the small one we were renting when we bought him. He has a big backyard now to play in.

I loved Reading Rainbow when I was a kid! I didn't know he was in Trek until years later. My fiancée and I had the privilege to meet him and get his autograph a few years ago. With my fiancée being Vietnamese, he chose a book that Burton had read during the show that had something to do with Asians....it was pretty funny.

Interesting... I haven't been on OB for so long I didn't realize it was down! Glad everything is still running smoothly at the only forum I've been a member of for over a decade. Lol!

Long term never bothered me. I don't have much time to watch anime as it is, so for me, when I do watch something it is like new, lol. I still love the Dragonball series, and I'm currently watching Naruto Shippuen. However, at the rate I'm going it'll take me years to get to where the series is currently at anyway

I use Netflix and Hulu. If Netflix doesn't have one thing, chances are Hulu will. And Vice-versa. I watch Naruto Shippuden on Hulu. I can't watch it dubbed, its horrible in english.   Dragonball Z is one thing I actually prefer dummed though(not including "Kai", I dislike Kai). I think its simply because I grew up watching DBZ in english, and certain characters voices are burned into my memory. Using a female's voice as muscular male characters doesn't sound right...

XD I had to introduce myself in one of my classes and most students were between eighteen to twenty-one, aside from a few who were in their forties going back. Even my teacher said I was old, lol. I saw one boy who I remember training in TKD when he was nine(he still does on occasion), but still, its weird. Now he's eighteen. And another girl who I remember from TKD a long time ago, who was a higher belt than me, but only eleven at the time. Then her and her brother quit. Now she's nineteen.   Wish I had finished back then, hah.

My life really isn't too exciting, I don't even know the last time I posted here! I don't know where to start though. I've moved four times in the last few years. I've been engaged since last August. My fiancée is Vietnamese, was born and raised in the US, but likes to threaten people that he's going to eat they're cat. We're thinking of a destination wedding, a cruise to the Mediterranean next spring/early summer. Neither one of us care to have a traditional wedding. I am still doing martial arts, been doing it for a long time. I don't draw as much as I used too, I don't have time. Work, working out, and martial arts has been what I've been doing with my adult life, lol. I've had the same job since I was nineteen, and I finally quit two days ago. I've been talking about going back to school for a while now but time and money was always a problem(also procrastination and no idea what I want). My fiancée has a good paying job right now and I have an opportunity to go back so that's my plan. I'm hoping to go into law enforcement. Some cities require a two to four year degree, in anything. I would like to do SWAT, a US Marshall, detective, but NOT a desk job! It's a far cry from what I wanted to do growing up. Most of my childhood was all about art, drawing was my life! Into high school I had this amazing dream that I was going to move to Japan and be a manga artist! Lol! Life happens, and things change. I was going to go into the Air Force but that didn't happen either. After I graduated high school I went to school part time and worked, then stopped going to school. So now I'm going to pick up where I left off. My credits are still valid, even after seven years, lol! School starts Monday! I'm almost twenty-seven too, ha. We are renting a three bedroom house, which we will be completely remodeling! And I can't wait, this Mauve carpet is horrible, we are going to put in bamboo flooring. It will be exciting and time consuming. I think that's too much info.

We have two cats and a dog. It's like a zoo in my house! The two cats I had(and wanted to take) when I moved out. So I've hade them for years. My financee and I talked about getting a dog for awhile, and we wanted a specific breed, and only that breed.. And he surprised me one day when him and our neighbor drove out to Michigan one day and brought home our nine month old bundle of joy , lol! Name: Benjamin(has always been called Benny though) Gender: Male Breed/species: Orange "Tabby" is my best guess Age: He's about twelve years old now. Likes: The outside(used to be an indoor/out door cat but I had to change that when I moved out, so indoor now. He hates it.), food, rodents, chasing the other cat, meowing really loud if he can't get her. Running out of the litter box and getting litter everywhere! The water in the shower. Dislikes: The dog, being inside, the lid being on the litter box! ---------- Name: Boo Breed/species: Ragdoll, long hair(amazing breed, she still acts like a kitten, and is still very playful!) Age: 9 years old I think? My grandma had her, then my mom, then she was given to my brother and I when we lived at home.
