I'm saving up for a car. I do need my drivers license still, but that I can get any time so I'm concentrating on saving for a car. Since I'd have nothing to drive even if I did have my license. I should have gotten it three years ago, which I regret. So I'm hoping for that. Then theres college. I'll probebly end up going to the local college because its cheaper, but I still have no idea what I want to do. 2005 was a good year for me so I hope this year can surpass it. :animesigh

I think I'll copy Venge. Name: Becky Age: 19 DOB: September 15, 1986 POB: Phoenix, AZ Gender: Female Location: Ohio Hair: Dark brown/blackish, natural color is medium brown. Eyes: Green Height: 5' 3'' 1/2 Current Relationship Status: Single, not looking. I don't have the time. Short Bio I was born in Phoenix, AZ. I went to three diffrent schools for Kindergarden. One in Showlow, AZ, one in West Virgina where my brother and I stayed with our grandparents for a month or so, then back to Phoenix where I stayed untill we moved to Ohio. I went camping often with my family. We never used camp grounds, thats not camping. We would go to areas where there was no people, off in the desert, or near one of the lakes. Lake Pleasent was my favorite. Moved to Ohio when I was ten and a half. We drove, which took us atleast three weeks due to all the stops we made. I missed a week or so of school. I live with my younger brother, Jordan, and my dad. My parents got devorced a year and a half, maybe two years ago. I'm not sure exactly. My mom comes over everyday. I currently have two jobs. I work at a store at the mall near my house, and at a warehouse. The warehouse job is every week day, the other is on weekends, when the manager remembers to add me to the schedule. I'm trying to save for a car, then for college. I'm kind of a health freak, and I workout often and do Taekwondo every day, except the weekend. I love video games, especially N64, Sega Genesis, and other older system games. I draw, but not nearly as much as I used too. I was going to become an artist, but I'm not sure if I want to now. I enjoy doing computer graphics aswell. Music is great, yay. I generally like techno, electronica, rock, classical, and world music. I love Christian music also. ^_^ I can't stand, Rap/Hip-hop, Country, or Opera. Oh and I have way too much Matrix stuff. Though I'm really not that obsessed anymore. :animestun I suppose that'll do.

I don't remember ever seeing any character from you. o_O Anyway, this old dojo master of Japan who smells of raw fishes and sushi is indeed a fun one. But what is the green thing in his coat? And it looks like he stole Master Roshi's walking stick, or maybe that was vice-versa. Anyway, did you use Photoshop for this Hitto?

I like 'leet speak', but not on forums. Trying to have a decent conversation with someone on the boards who insists talking in this manner, that I can't stand. Also, the people who use the capitalize/lower case letters to every other word. Example: SaIyAnPrInEsSx Gah, I hate that. But that is for another discussion. Using leet during IMs is alright with me, unless the person is using it for every word. I don't have the time to decipher everything. @_@

I've seen it twice. :animesigh It was pretty good. I mean I was dissapointed by the hacking, of course, but I understand why. The movie was long as it was anyway. This was my least favorite book, but I'm not sure of the movie. The book made it more exciting and creepy when it needed to be. I don't think the movie really captured those kinds of intense emotions. But thats me. My favorite part in the book is also my favorite part in the movie, the
dragons
. But this scene was much more exciting for me in the book. One thing that bothers me about the new movie is Harry and Ron's look. I can't stand long hair on guys and I think it makes them look rediculous, for a kinder word. :animeangr Overall it was good, and it got the basic story accross. Though I tend to pick at it.
I think that's the key point here. I wasn't even particularly a fan of the original series, but the visual style was pretty original. Translating such an outlandish style to live-action is incredibly difficult, as the trailer suggests. Basically I'm expecting something very standard-fare here. Wooden dialogue, the occasionally cool action sequence and that's about it. There are a few visual flourishes in the trailer that look interesting, but I don't think it will be as stylized and visually powerful as it could have been. So far the only thing that's really exciting me about the movie is the posters. Some of them are incredibly cool. Unfortunately the trailer is a bit boring by comparison.
I agree. I never saw the series, in any form, so I can't compare. I just go by what I've seen in the trailer and I think the movie looks, to be blunt, boring. I'm really not a fan of Theron either. Although the posters I'll say do look cool, and I like the title, lol. Thats about it though.

What do you like to do when you're not posting on the OB?
SaiyanPrincessX replied to a topic in General Discussion
If I was asked this last month my answer would have much more interesting, but now that I have two jobs its really not. During the week my schedule is as so, exercise in the morning, go places with my mom, come home, go to work at 12pm, get off work at 5:30pm go to Taekwondo at 6:00(mon., wed., fri., tuesday and thursday it starts at 7). Come home at 9 o' clock. Weekends I work another job at the mall near my house. Although I'm not scheduled every weekend, as you can see. Aside from work, I like to workout, practice martial arts, draw, watch movies, and play video games. -
I never liked Thanksgiving, I always thought it was a boring holiday as a child. Anyway when I was younger, and lived in Phoenix, it would be my mom, dad, younger brother, me, and my aunt, uncle, and grandparents would all come over(dad's side). When we moved to Ohio my mom's mom, her brother, and my dad's sister began coming. But now since my parents devorce its just my dad, my brother, me, and my dad's sister for most holidays. My brother and I see our mom everyday so its not a big deal that we don't spend the actual holiday with her. My aunt will be coming at two o'clock, and staying untill whenever. A friend of my dad's from church is also stopping by later on today with her brother, after they have their little festivities. She's extremely tall too, about 6'6" and her son is even taller. Our weather is so weird. It looks like Christmas outside. It began snowing yesterday, pouring, and started up again this morning. It looks like we'll have a white Thanksgiving. I'm thankful for everyday god has given me. Simply put. ^_^
Second may have been Pheonix, Arizona. A friend of mine lives in one of the towns near there so when my mom went....Sorry ADD kicking in again. Pheonix is beautiful. A bit exspensive and there are huge contrasts between the haves and havenots but beautiful. The Zoo is really kick butt and they have a nice botanical gardens right next to it.
Phoenix, AZ is where I was born. It is beautiful there, and I love it. I really miss it too. My family and I would always go out to the desert to bbq or camp. We never camped in camp grounds, always in the middle of nowhere. You know, where you have to go to the bathroom behind a tree. Heh, I have such good memories. Lack Pleseant was our favorite lake. We moved from Arizona to Ohio when I was ten and a half, drove. Went through Utah, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, and Kentucky. Utah was beautiful, or at least what I saw. We stopped on the side of the road and climbed up one of those big rock structures. In Colorado we drove up Mt. Evans. It was amazing to me at the time because we went up into the clouds. Then fed wild goats on the side of the road, lol. Kansas was hot and baren. I didn't like going through here because of the stuff I heard of with tornados, that was my worst fear. I don't remember much of anything about Missouri. o,O It rained really hard when we were going through Kentucky so I couldn't see much. I do remember the hotel we stayed at had cable though, which we never had so it was fun. I've also been to.. Scranton, New York: I'll never go there again. I hated it. The town itself was so run down and old, and some of the people where looked very unpleasant. There were Jewish people everywhere too. I have nothing wrong with this, but I've never seen so many in one place so I thought it was a worthy fact to bring up. :p Pennsylvania: I didn't like it here very much either. I've only been to several towns here so I can't say much about it, but the places I've been to I just didn't like. The landscape was beautiful though. West Virgina: My grandma(mom's mom) used to live here so we visited several times and even lived with her for a few months. I was very young, in Kindergarden I think. Actually I think I went to three diffrent schools that year in totally diffrent locations(WV, Phoenix, AZ, and Showlow, AZ). Anyway, I remember the smells and beauty. I liked visiting my grandma here, she had a nice trailer with a cellar in the back. Her yard went down a hill to a river. I wouldn't live there again but it was nice to visit. Of course I've also been to many places throughout Arizona.

What's your favorite type of music and why?
SaiyanPrincessX replied to boothten's topic in Noosphere
I like techno, electronic, rock, classical, j-rock/j-pop and world music. This explains why I have more soundtracks than actual cds. This music can inspire me in drawing, o working or relaxing, so it has a big affect on me. I can't stand rap/hip hop or country. -
Dominio's and Papa Johns are my favorite pizza places. Though I don't eat pizza much. I work at Collector Unlimited at my mall. Its a small store with large and small figururines, and other collectables. I really can't say much about it because I've only worked there twice so far. Its a peaceful atmoshpere though, so its nice. The other employees are real nice too.

How do you pronounce your username?
SaiyanPrincessX replied to DBZgirl88's topic in General Discussion
Saiyan "Say-n" PrincessX, simple enough. When I tell people my e-mail in real life they never say it right. Everyone pronounces it "CyanPrincessX", which gets on my nerves, but its understandable. They're are alot of names here I would constantly get wrong. Transtic Nerve was one. I don't think he posts much anymore. But I used to have trouble with his name. Also, OtakuBoards. I used to say Otaku wrong for the longest time, untill a few years back. I would say "O-teh-koo" instead of "O-taa-koo". -
Halloween was so much fun when I was little. I miss trick or treating. I stopped sixteen I think. Not because I wanted to, but because I just wasn't able to. Now my mom says I'm too old. I could pass for 14 or 15, but my brother being as tall as he is would totally give us away. ^_^; - I was a Rabbit when I was I think four - a Clown once - a Grape in first grade, yes this was weird. - Pebbles - Cat - A hippie when I was twelve - Princess at thirteen - Baby when I was fourteen - A cat again.. - Among others I can't remember right off. My mom would always dress my brother and I up as something cute, or fun, rather than scary. My brother was Ace Ventura one year, that awesome. We put one of those stuffed monkeys from the Zoo on his shoulder, it looked like Spike. ^_^ I love these 'past' threads. Memories are so fun.

Ah, no trouble at all. Glad to be of assistance. ^_^

Naruto is one of my favorites. The dub version is horrid however. I knew it would be butchered, but the voices..ah, so incredibly bad. I much prefer the Japanese with subtitles. I love the story and artwork. Its a diffrent style and feel which makes it fun to watch, and draw. ^^ I have episodes 1 through 76 on dvd, subbed, yet I can never find the time to watch them sadly. -_-

Ah, I should have payed more attention. Here you go. Did you want a matching avatar?

I know exactly what your talking about. Our society has gone to hell. Its rediculous all the crap shown in the media. I can't stand it. I've had this conversation with my mom several times, not really an in depth conversation, just how its getting scary that the majority of people enjoy watching, listening, etc. to such garbage, and letting their children aswell. I have these cousins, one is thirteen the other is eleven. The older one wants to have sex and says shes tried marijuna. She also likes that hip hop dancing and does it infront of guys much older than her, and tells them shes eighteen. Her younger sister wants to try marijuna, and other things. I don't get it, do their parent's know how to raise kids, or is it that they just don't care? And the clothes girls are wearing, yes, disgusting. My thoughts and opinions. :animesigh

I gave it a shot. I'm not sure whether you wanted the extra effects, so if not let me know. I have it saved as a PSD file aswell. Interesting character by the way. ^_^

I always seem to attract the total opposite of who I'd like. If that makes any sense. I'm very picky, so that makes things even harder. Physical traits: I too want someone who is taller than me, but not too tall as to make me feel small. -_- Somewhere between 5' 6" - 5'10". There are some exceptions however. I have a thing for muscels. Not just bulk but lean toned muscels, like Bruce Lee you could say. Thats alot to ask for though. :animeswea I do like a slight tan, but not really dark. I have a thing for asian men so that narrows it down quite a bit. Very athletic in martial arts and possibly gymnastics, someone who I could spar with but who could also show me some techniques. I like dark hair, but occationaly blonde is nice too. Short hair is nice, guys with long hair generally don't appeal to me. It gets on my nerves when I see men with long hair or its all dangling in their face. x_x Eyes however don't really make a diffrence. Personality: I would like him to be similar to me, with some of the same intrests. A quiet person, but has a more talkitive side at times. He must be honest, and polite with a good sense of humor. I'm not interested in men who talk about themselves and their many talents constantly, so modesty is another good quality. I have a habit with going with the same routine everyday, and it gets tiresome, so someone who can be spontanious once in awhile would be refreshing. I would like for him to be a Christian, with the same beliefs. This is a big thing for me. I don't like it when guys swear excessively. A little is fine, but when every other word is a swear word it turns me away. It makes the person sound ignorant. Smoking is a total turn off aswell, and I'm not into drinking so that should be limited. He must respect my feelings and views. I'm not having sex untill I'm married, so he'll have to respect that. Of course love me. As I mentioned above, I'm very picky. ^_^; I don't think love is the only thing people need in a relationship. I'm not an expert on the subject, far from, but I belive people need more than that. My parents loved each other, and still do, but their views are so diffrent. They clashed for years untill they finaly devorced about a year and a half ago. Small random tidbit.

Its about time you posted more graphics. ~_^ Anyhow, its very you with the little shapes. I've always loved that crystal look, and the diffrent shades of pink you used work well with the blended areas. The little shapes bother me in this though, the exclimation point, heart, and plus sign. They're too random. Maybe if you had more, but had thim fading in and out. That would be cool. The title is very appropriate. Welcome back to the graphics world. ^_^

Well I had no big expectations for this since I knew almost nothing about it when I saw it, aside from what the trailer shows. I thought it looked cool, and my friend asked if I wanted to see it so I did. Sometimes thats the best way, when you have no expectations for a movie you can't be too disappointed if it isn't too great. Needless to say, I loved it. I never saw the series, but my friend filled me in on it before the movie started. It was diffrent & fun. It was like The Fifth Element, westerns, a little Matrixness, and Starship Troopers(without the large bugs) all in one. I loved the humor mixed with the action. I also recommend this. There are some things that you won't understand if you haven't seen the series however, like me. So I guess watching that or reading up on it before viewing the movie would be a good thing. ^^
I just wanted to drop by to say that your Banner and Avatar are great. I like the idea of the city signs. The tokyo feel you gave to it, works really well. Fancy text aswell. Go you, it did not hurt my eyes! I love it! :3
I do agree. I was admiring the sexiness of you're current avatar/banner set aswell. Idioteque - Zentheque - I'm not sure about this; it tends to remind me of Christmas, so its fun. Although I too have no idea what it means, but the design is fantastic non the less. metaPHYSICS - I love this, but I don't like the blue text. It looks out of place to me, the color I mean. Aside from that it looks like something you'd find on a t-shirt. A dorky t-shirt. ;) Systematically Losing the Knack - A simple term used in a techy way, most interesting. But I'll have to agree with Cyriel & Ima with this. It had great potential, but what you have here seems cluttered, yet too much white space. Now; post more! :D

I don't know whether you'll likethe type of swirly look I used, or the extra added effects so if not let me know. Thank you for using 'quality' images too. ^_^

I hardly ever post threads in any section besides art nowadays, so this is a treat for you. ;) Talk of the older movies and the most recent. 1989: Wallace & Gromit: A Grand Day Out The pair run out of cheese and head to the moon; everyone knows the moon is made out of cheese. 1993: Wallace & Gromit: The Wrong Trousers A criminal penguin uses Wallace and his mechanical remote controlled trousers for a robbery. 1995: Wallace & Gromit: A Close Shave Gromit is framed and put in prison for killing sheep, and Wallace falls for a wool shop owner. 2005: Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit Wallace & Gromits business, Anti-Pesto, becomes much harder when Wallace's invention goes bad; large rabbit ravages vegetables in town insues. I love this pair. I'd first heard of Wallace & Gromit on a documentary on t.v. when I was maybe eight years old, then that Christmas my parents bought the first movie for my brother and I. The animation was so diffrent from other cartoons at the time, and the characters personalities were so fun. Cheese... :catgirl: Now we own two of the three. I went with my family to see the newest movie on saturday. It was just as good, and longer than the older ones. It lacked more cheese though. ;) Great movie for anyone to see. ^_^

What Happened to the Power Rangers
SaiyanPrincessX replied to James P. Galvatron's topic in Noosphere
Mighty Morphin was the best, back in the day. I remember watching after school on WB 61(in Arizona at the time), at my babysitter's. That women was very strange. O_O Anyhow, I used to deny that I watched it, but I liked it all the same. Rita was freakin awesome..and the puddies, thats quality television. ;) I've taken a glimpse of a few of the newer versions and they're all crap, to me atleast. Nothing compares to the original.
