I was born in Phoenix, AZ. ^_^ Anyway, here in Ohio its been snowing alot lately. We have about a foot in our backyard. Today the high, I think, is in the low 30s (F). That isn't too bad, so I shouldn't really complain. I do get cold easily though. Well the past few years I really didn't play in the snow very much. This year I have however. I hiked with my mom and her friend for two hours in the park, in a blizzard. It was awesome. I couldn't feel my face, but it was still fun. My brother and I tried to ride the bikes in the snow last night, which really didn't work out to well. Lol. When I was younger, in Arizona, we would go to Sholow, Flagstaff, and Prescott for the snow. We would sled, make snow men, snow angels, etc. I was forced to move to Ohio just before my eleventh birthday, so now I enjoy a season of snow. Though I'd still rather live in Phoenix.

I live in a small city in Ohio called Strongsville, near Cleveland. Its not all that interesting here, but then again, once you've lived in one place for awhile sometimes it does tend to get boring, especially when I don't have my drivers license. Bah, should have gotten it two years ago. We've been getting alot of snow over here in the past few days. I'm pretty sure we're going to have a white Christmas too. ^_^

I'm a Christian. My parents both believe in god, but in diffrent ways. My dad belives that church is an important part of religion and understanding. My mom is the same in some ways but doesn't go to church. She says she feels closer to god when in nature. She loves being out doors. So I grew up in a religous family, but we only went to church occationally. I know I've always belived in a god higher than us, Jesus, and heaven. My parents always taught me to pray at night and such. My dad always tried to get us to go to church, my mom did try aswell, but she doesn't like that kind of setting I suppose, as I metioned, more nature for her. As most young children though, my brother and I hated going to church. My grandma also tried to take us. Its usually very boring at that age. Just last year however I decided I wanted to go, so my dad and I now go every Sunday, or try to. I've missed several.I feel a spiritual closness when in the large church with everyone singing psalms and chattering away. I've got the qualities of both my parents. I enjoy going to church, and I also feel close to god in nature. They are both open minded so neither put down anyone for their religion and beliefs, but feel sorry for what they will miss. I'm the same in that aspect aswell.

I joined when I was fourteen, and I'm currently 18. Back then it seemed like all the members were so much older and mature, as I was so young and immature. I loved Anime then and still do to this day. Although I don't often visit that area of the forums, maybe occationally. I can usually be found in the Art section, movies, or the General discussion areas. Honestly I think the forums have more younger people, or so it seems. Maybe its just me trying to re-live the past, but the forums arn't the same anymore. Granted I still visit and enjoy the endless options and such, but the people are diffrent, it has a diffrent vibe I guess you could say. Anyway, I seem to be rambling.

Yeah I also prefer the Linking Sunlight graphic, specifically due to the randomness of the 'Road' one. I confess, I did try to actually create something interesting with the 'Sunlight' one, though I still had no idea where I was going with it. ^_^

I had to create a comic in my Interactive Multimedia class of whatever I wanted. Originally it was suppose to be a coloring book but he then said we could either make a coloring book or comic. ^_^ My theme is obviously Ninja's. The maximum about of pages we were able to use was ten, so its not very big atall but just as time consuming. My story revolves around these two kids growing up at this Ninja school together. The blonde haired boy is Kasuki Doji, the other is Hikaru Takami. The cover was difficult to do. I drew it on simple white computer paper then traced over the drawing with this special transparent paper, and art pens my teacher let me use. Then I scanned it in at school. I never would have had enough time to finish it at school so I e-mailed the image to myself so that I could work on it over Thanksgiving break. It took about eight hours total for all the coloring. I'm really glad I did it at home, but getting it back to school was a aggrovating. I wanted to send the whole file but it was far to big with all the layers. So I had to merge all the layers, which sadly men't I couldn't edit anything at school later on. It all worked out though, and I have it printed out. The printer at school is so much better than the one I have here at home. Overall I think I'm pleased with this, but I rushed too much on Hikaru's older self, so to me he looks very odd. The coloring however is probebly my best yet. The whole comic still isn't complete, I still have to add the lines seperating the drawings on about three pages, then add the text. The whole project was actually due the last day before Thanksgiving break butI knew that was never going to happen if it was going to be good quality. :p Anyway, enough of my rambling. Please C/C. I resized it in order to post. The original size I think would be way too big.

Has anyone seen this? What were your thoughts on the movie? One thing I must say...never listen to critics, or atleast thats my theory. Usually there opinion is far from my own with movies. A friend of mine said I shouldn't see it specifically because Ebert & Roeper said it was horrible. However, I enjoyed it. I haven't seen any decent PG movies recently so this one was a refreshing change. The whole idea was unique and intrigueing. It has adventure, some comedy, and the whole idea makes you think. ^_^ Although there was a few cheesy parts,[spoiler] like the first kiss between Benjamin Gates and Abigail Chase for example.[/spoiler] o_O Meh, thats my view.

After a 45 minute wait in line I voted, first time, for Bush. I didn't really know much about a lot of other issues in my community. ^_^; Voted no for Gay marriages. I don't have a problem with homosexuals in general, but I am opposed to the idea of allowing them to marry because I believe in what the original morals were based on, a woman and a man. I didn't stay up to watch the election. I waited untill today to see the results. I'm not really a political person.

Not sure whether this is a topic you could really make much in depth conversation with. o.O I've been around for along time aswell. Originally registered January 15, 2001. I also miss the old days. The new OB style is awesome, and there are so many members now, but I'll never forget those fun times. There are still alot of older members that visit, but not very often. Me for example. I don't post as much as I used too. I still enjoy it here however. Topaz was a good friend, but she stopped posting about two years ago. I still have alot of her artwork that I'd printed out to use as reference. I admired her artwork for along time. One thing I really miss is the amount of artwork that was always posted almost daily from artists such as Kinetic, Chris, Kaisuke(Kenji, Nephroxide), GinnyLyn, etc. Will2x's WAR is another good memory. ^_^
