So my fiancée got me the Limited Edition Marvel Universe DVD collection. He originally ordered it awhile back, around my birthday in September, however Marvel and Disney were having some sort of lawsuits over the product so he had it ordered but there was no definite time frame to when we would get it. I completely forgot about it. So it's my late birthday/Christmas present. Enough about that. It's the Tesseract case with 10 discs, Iron Man 1 and 2, Thor, Captain, Hulk(the good one, with Edward Norton), The Avengers, and tons of extras. It also has files of Banner, Stark, and Captain all sorted in the way Shield would have it in its Confidential files. I haven't had time to look through the whole thing yet.

Uh, I was going for Black Widow's hair from Ironman 2/Avengers. This was almost a month ago. -
I love traveling. I've been two a lot of different states in the U.S. I was born in AZ, but we moved to OH when I was a kid. It took us almost two weeks to drive out here because we spent so much time checking out every state we went through. My two biggest trips were Japan in 2007, and Israel in 08'. Both were completely different in every way, and I have some awesome memories from both. I would go back to either if I had an opportunity, although Japan seems more likely. I haven't had any major trips like those since, but I've been to North Carolina, Washington, and Chicago multiple times over the last three years, for Comic Cons, to visit family, or fights. Last year we went to Dragon Con in Atlanta. I have this weird thing with wanting to collect Starbucks cups from every state I visit now. So far I have N. Carolina, Atlanta, and Washington(I bought a few from here because the first SB's was in Seattle). There are still so many countries and states I still have yet to visit. My Fiancee's mom wants us to go to Vietnam with her and his step dad next year for a month, and I would love too, but it depends on our funds at that time.

He's doing much better now, turns out he was getting sick. He's been sleeping a lot, not eating much, nose dripping, coughing. We took him to the vet monday. We thought originally he had Kennel Cough, but it was a Respiratory Infection. So they gave us some antibiotics and he's already doing better. My Fiancee has been studying a lot about Corgi's, and since he's at home right now he's been training him. He's very obedient and smart. ^_^
-
We've noticed that he seems to be depressed. He hasn't been eating or drinking much, so we talked to a few people and called a vet and everyone says its normal. He misses his previous owner, and he's stressed, but he will snap out of it eventually. He did eat today though, and drank tons of water! It was so exciting, lol!

My fiancee and I have been trying to adopt a Pembroke Welsh Corgi for almost a year, and its been a lot harder than we thought. I'm not going to get into that though. Anyway, he told me he was going to be working on his buddy's car and wasn't going to be home for awhile.. He gets home at almost 1am with our neighbor Haley with our first Corgi! They drove out to Michigan to pick him up! It was a total surprise! So we now own a 9 month old Corgi who we have named Desmo(which is a Ducati engine, lol). I apologize for the lack of quality of the images, they were taken with his ipod.

Idiot, this kid is/was a freaking idiot. These people who keep doing this are making me SO mad! We are going to lose our rights because of these morons.. There are other ways to deal with your freaking problems! Those kid's didn't deserve to die! Those teachers didn't deserve to die! I don't know what his problem was with his mom but she still didn't deserve to die.
I've always wanted an Aston Martin, specifically the Vanquish although I haven't given specific models a lot of thought (and honestly picked Vanquish because it has the best sounding title). You see lots of Ferraris and Lamborghinis around (at least where I am) but it's very rare that you actually see an Aston Martin (I've never seen one in person actually).
Lol, I don't see many Ferarris and Lamborghinis around here, but did drive behind an Aston Martin Vantage V8 a few months ago. I was so excited, I called my boyfriend when I finally got where I was going to tell him, hah. I do love cars, and if I had tons of money there are a lot of cars I would want, but for years my dream car was always a red Lamborghini Diablo. Chibi, you don't need tons of money for that ride...ugh, just imagination?

I used to be a regular on this forum, probably over ten years ago now :) I remember TOPAZ and her drawing competitions. Wow it's been awhile, what a joy to be brought back to my early teenage years and remember so much fun we had together. I haven't posted since then, this is my first time in forever... So good to see you all!! HI. -DesertShadow
Wow, welcome back! Of course I remember you. I remember you're avatar very well too!

Well I feel old too. Ok, heres a real picture of me. We were at Dragon Con in Atlanta. -
I've commented on these threads many times before. I miss lurking around as a kid on here, drawing constantly, watching anime. But we all get older and times change. ^_^ I miss TOPAZ and her awesome artwork, the "WAR". Thats one of my fondest memories, ha. Anyway, in my PM box I have birthday wishes from others from 2001, when I tured fifteen(Dragonballzman). The oldest message in my inbox is dated to September 6, 2001. Eleven years and still here.

As of today I am now engaged. He proposed on the airplane coming back from Atlanta, so we could have been over any state. Lol!

My boyfriend and I know the owner of a comic book store here, and he was able to rent out the theater for an 8 o' clock showing(before the midnight premier). I was really looking forward to it, but I was really dissappointed. Most of the people who saw it with us didn't like it either. Granted this are mostly comic buffs and whatnot, so they will nit-pick it like crazy, but I really didn't read the comics and I thought it was horrible. The critics raved about it, and I don't know why! The first two were amazing too! Bane was annoying throughout the whole film, he sounded like Sean Connery(which would have been awesome, but it wasn't). Sorry, I will say no more. XD

I finally have internet again! All moved into my house, but there is still soo much to do!

I just got back home from church. I'm thinking about going to the park to get a little workout in before I head over to my dad's. I do have a cold and or sinus infection though so I'm debating. I have eaten crap the last few days. I'll be at my dad's the majority of the day I think, it'll just be my dad and my brother so nothing exciting at all. My boyfriend will probably do something with his friend's since I haven't heard of any plans from his family this Easter...which is odd. My dad didn't "invite" him, which happens so I won't put him through that awkwardness again. That is all.
I second this. I wasn't even a huge Batman fan to begin with but I was excited about seeing Dark Knight and I loved it. I think it's too early to comment on this topping its predecessor but I think we can all agree that it's likely to be great either way.
Ditto. I actually prefer Marvel over DC but I really love these movies so I'll be seeing it.

What did you get for Christmas?
SaiyanPrincessX replied to SaiyanPrincessX's topic in General Discussion
So, for Christmas, I didnâ??t ask for what any typical 18/19 year-old would ask for. (video games, new gaming systems, electronics, etc.) Instead, this is what I got for Christmas:

GPS
16 piece dinnerware set
7 piece cooking set
4 piece black utensil set
5 piece pink utensil set (lol)
4 wooden cooking/stirring spoons
4 piece knife set (barely used)
Can opener
Cooking scissors
Oven mit and pot holder
Blanket
Used Vacuum cleaner
Black Futon (also used)
And some other stuff that my brother and in-law will be gifting me for my apartment which I will be moving into on the 2nd of January. :3
(and then I have my birthday coming up soon which will get me more stuff for the apartment. Yay)

Haha, I didn't realize until I moved out how exciting it is to actually get "home" things. My boyfriend got me a Toshiba laptop(A6 Vision, Windows 7, Quad Core & AMD Radeon Graphics), a FLCL on Blu Ray, and a car. My car recently took a crap about two months ago so we've had to use his truck for transportation between the two of us since then. My best friend got me a $50 Starbucks gift card, a Sonic blanket(the original Sonic), and a clock for my kitchen shaped like a coffee cup. My dad got me stuff to keep in my car if it breaks down, a $25 Starbucks gift card, and my brother got me some movies(Wall Street, the Outlaw Star series, Fletch 2, . I haven't gotten to my mom's yet. -
I can't believe this hasn't been made yet. Merry Christmas and all that. Now what did you get?
-
What did you get your parent(s) for Christmas?
SaiyanPrincessX replied to Shy's topic in General Discussion
My mom and step dad were a lot easier to buy for than my dad. I only got my dad a few things of nuts and a calendar for his shop, but my brother got him some new wiper blades and a movie so that made up for it, hah. I got my mom a juicer(which she asked for), some hiking WigWam socks, a huge bag of Jasmin rice from the Asian market, a western style ornament(they both have always loved westerns). I still have a few more things I plan to buy them but I probably won't see them until next weekend anyway. Christmas at my dad's was boring and awkward, but my boyfriend's family is huge and crazy. I had so much more fun there. -
Mmm, String Things were delicious I had no idea they were made by Betty Crocker. I loved Dunkaroos, which were apparently also made by Betty Crocker. Little snack sized kangaroo cookies with frosting for dipping. Their still sold in certian stores I guess but I haven't seen them around me. There was also this cereal...I have no idea what it was called. It consisted of little yellow squares with strawberry, grape, or orange frosting inside. I loved them, I would put a handful in my pocket and eat them as I played.

I love Christmas, but its diffrent when you get older. The excitement isn't there like it used to be. I miss those days, lol. Anyway, I enjoy buying these for others but I tend to get carried away. I've bought a few things already but I need to pay for rent and all the other necessities before I buy more... My boyfriend with be the hardest to buy for. I know what he likes but everything is way too expensive, or I just wouldn't know what to get. I can't get him anything for his bike, he has a Ducati and he already has a nice bike jacket and a Ducati helmet that matches his bike(he's asian and has a yellow bike..he says its so he can ride naked and no one could see him, think about it.) He would love a full bike suit but I wouldn't even know where to start with that, and they are atleast $1,000 or more. He's really into watches, he has a nifty LED watch that tells the time with like squares on the screen from Japan, and he showed me some similar ones online that are only sold in Japan, but I still don't know where to start. :p I'm suppose to be saving money, and its not working very well. I know my boyfriend is either getting me a new laptop or an Ipod touch, other than that I just tell people to get me Starbucks gift cards, its really the only 'extra curricular' activity I have with work and training. Growing up we always had real trees, it was always a family thing. We would usually get one around my mom's birthday(Dec. 14), and my brother and I would chase each other around the trees. Since I don't live at home though I've tried to make my own traditions. Last year my boyfriend went with me to get a tree, which was a pay in a second story apartment. I moved this past June and they don't allow real trees, fire hazard. So I got an actual Charlie Brown tree sitting underneith my tv, next to a mummy cat my boyfriend bought before halloween and a big Godzilla ornament that is still in its box. Exciting.
