[SIZE=1]I live in Strongsville, Ohio. Its not a a well known city at all. I moved here from Middleburg Hts. August of 2001 and before that I live in Phoenix, AZ; where I was born. Heh, yeah you've got some of my history there. ^_^[/SIZE]

[SIZE=1]Ah yes, I believe this movie comes out on Memorial Day or something. Anyway, I love the image you used. I also like how the text slides down into a line. I'm not much for the font though. :/[/SIZE]

[SIZE=1]Well it looks like another fad has started on OB; Gundam SEED. Heh, that brings back memories of the .Hack//SIGN fad last year. Anyway, Its quite nice. The background resembles blood, which goes well with Blood.Staind. I like how the colors blend well together and such. However, the only thing I really dislike about it is the white you chose for Blood.Staind. It stands out far to much and takes your attention away from the rest of the piece.[/SIZE]

[COLOR=royalblue][SIZE=1]Whee, I like! I like the was the boy stands out and the gundam is blended into the background. The way you have Otaku Boards.com is diffrent, but looks nice nontheless. My only complaint about this is the space to the left, just as your previous Gundam banner.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[SIZE=1]Heh, I remember all of those; they bring back alot of memories. I forgot how much you loved scanlines, silleh. :p [COLOR=royalblue] 1.) Wow, thats so diffrent from your current work. That is one I never saw, you have definetely improved. 2.) I like this but I don't like the Japanese font, its too large, though the color matches well with the rest of the banner. I don't really care for the large grid either. 3.) I completely forgot about your previous username. I did associate that banner with you back then, like many others. I think its very nicely done. The whole banner matches, and the fonts you used all seem to fit nicely. 4.) Heh, Syky's first Sky piece. ^_^ This is very plane, but I like how the S and arrow match the corner dividers. I think thats the first time I had seen a dotted border. 5.) Hm, I think I was one of those people who disliked this. I find it very appealing now however. I find grungy/scratchy look very eye catchy, it looks almost like chalk. 6.) I'm not to fond of this one. I dislike all the tech borders, they clutter the image. They really don't fit together either. 7.) Whee, GameCrap! Heh, I remember laughing so hard at those renditions. ^_^ I love how you captured the controller, its so clean and crisp, with a nice little logo to top it off. :P 8.) This piece amazed me. I remember seeing this before even knowing of Neon Genesis. I can tell alot of effort was put into this. The only thing that bothers me is the white tet; its a bit hard to see in some areas. 9.) So simplistic, yet appealing. The fading squares and line really improve the image; it would be rather blane without them. 10.) I was very impressed with your work in that contest. The red Vashness is much better than the blue. The dotted line through the banner is a great addition. 11.) Ah yes, teh lord of scanlines. ^_~ As much as I like blue, it really doesn't fit Vash. I loved the way you have Syk3 with those two dots. Its strange how something so small can bring out so much. 12.) I have to agree, it was under-estimated. I didn't like it because there wasn't much to it but now that I look at it again its perfect; aside from positioning of OtakuBoards, and the font of 2003. The clearness and colors go well together and bring out the characters. 13.) Ah yes, sir Syk's well known piece. T'was a nice addition to the OB layout. Strangely, I think my favorite part is the menu box. 14.) Well I do like the image you used for this but overall its not the greatest in my opinion. I think its over done, not by you, just that style in general. Although thats probebly because alot of my previous banners looked somewhat like that. 15.) Heh, I remember telling you how I loved the flame; the only piece of color in the image. Truelly a master piece that story is. That quote really sticks out. 16.) You know I love this. That was such a big hype in May; especially with me. Although you didn't do much to it it is nice. The images you used are so crisp. Its also helps with the title; "The Matrix Reloaded' isn't blurred. I've seen the logo used many times and often its hard to read. I also like how the images are placed; evil on both sides while Neo resides in the middle. 17.) Eep! That looks very much like an "Alcoholic bread" banner I made for Kenji last year. o.o Anyway, its very nice. I can see the love. ^^ 18.) Such coolehs. I love the techy look. Although I think the boy is placed to far to the right, he should have been cropped to the side a bit to rid the banner of the gray space on the left. 19.) Well I was lost then and I'm lost now. I like the black and white but its hard for me to critique this because I've never seen nor heard of whatever this is from. 20.) Ah, Kenshinness. You chose good images for this. It really expresses a feeling of wonder. I love the frame where the two simply move their swords. Heh. I don't like the font either, and the red looks rushed. >.< 21.) Bah, I don't like this one at all. It simply looks rushed. 22.) I'm not to keen on the image quality of this but I love the quotes and how there randomly placed. The image gives a since of honor or triumph. 23.) I've never seen or heard of this movie but it sounds interesting. The torn edges with the prayer are great. I also like how you've added the image of the hand with the tattoo. I don't think you should have added the black border though. 24.) I don't really have much to say about this one. Although its a nice quality image, and cropped nicely, it really doesn't appeal to me. 25.) Great expression. The text is the best part of the image. 26.) Heh, awesomly funny. I do think the banner is a bit cluttered though. But hey, the quote is top notch. Heh. 27.) I've seen this movie either. -_-; The grungyness really brings out the fight nicely. I also like the font you used for Snatch and how its faded into the background. The color scheme works well also. 28.) Thats definetely very unique. I suppose I see where your coming from with this. I don't really care for the first one. The design doesn't go with the images, and they look out of place. The second, however, I do like. The Sakura on the wood/bambooish background really stand out.

[SIZE=1]Happy 2004! Last night was pretty interesting for me. I was watching times square on tv, awaiting the ball to drop, three minutes and thirty seconds left, then I here an explosion and see a orange flash outside my window. The power goes out right after. Turns out that a transformer 2 houses down exploded. I taped a portion of it. Needless to say, I never saw the ball drop. We got our power back at 4am.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=1]Its currently a few minutes before 11 PM here, one hour to go(Eastern time). I'm not really doing anything special; except watching the ball drop then watching a movie. [COLOR=green]2003 The Year of The Matrix[/COLOR] ^_^ Didn't Australia have a huge fireworks display last year? I was curious to wheather they did anything as large this year.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=1]I had somesort of breakdown that began last January and ended around August. I know that wasn't an official breakdown however; I agree with Semjaza Azazel. I'm guessing it was a teenage stage, I just got very overwhelmed and closed myself from everyone.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=1][COLOR=royalblue]As many of you said; I'm torn between the two. I've been here since January 2001, and yes spam and flamming were very common. It was rediculous. There were often wars between members, with threads full of nonsense. Grammer was never bothered with. On the other hand it [I]was[/I] small and cozy aswell. I liked the post ranking system. The early OB is also helped me in my art. Here is where I met Topaz(Mary), a well known artist to most old members. Her art inspired me to try hard to become better. I miss alot of those old members. I also enjoyed replying to others art more back then for some reason. They seemed diffrent than alot of new members, this is my opinon however. I suppose I do prefer it now however. It is much more organized and sophisticated. I feel proud to be part of such a large community and have such dedicated Mods/Admins. [/SIZE][/COLOR]

I simply love it. It really does remind me of a mental outburst of sorts. The colors go so well together emphasizing the idea of an outburst. The border and grungy font are also very appealing to me.

[SIZE=1]My brother is 15; two year diffrence. We get along fairly well. When we were younger we were either best friends, or killing each other. We had many of the same friends and interests, such as video games. I used to be a video game fanatic, but I've cooled a bit on that. He has been getting on my nerves alot lately. Hes in that lazy teenage stage where all he wants to do is play video games and sleep. He'll stay up untill 5am playing computer and/or GCN then wake up at 2pm and hes back on the computer. Hes frustrating sometimes when I try to get him to do his chores. He'll sit there and stare mindlessly into his game and not even acknowledge me, or anyone else for that matter. I usually end up yelling at him or doing them myself. We do still have alot of the same interests though; Anime mostly. I think we'll always be good friends when we get older. [/SIZE]

[SIZE=1]I like the facial expression in that first one, and the way you drew his face but his hair is too oversized and you need to work on folds. I like the background alot aswell. [SIZE=1]Well my dad hasn't had time to go shopping much due to work so my brother and I haven't gotten much yet. He plans to go shopping today. Since my parents are seperating my mom is coming over today with presents, one each. Both my parents are low on money right now also. Here are the items I have gotten from my dad so far: -Two Neo action figures, both from Revolutions'. Hehe, that makes 5 Matrix action figures total. ^_^ -I also got a Chobits dvd, I've been wanting this. From other my Aunt I got an 8 disc cd-rom set on Japanese speaking and such. My dad's friend gave me $25. My brother got an Armitage: Dual Matrix soundtrack from me, a book about history from my aunt and $25.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=1]My New Years Resolution would be to find a Kendo school and a Martial Arts school near by and stick with it. I'd also like to finally get my comic started.[/SIZE]

I prefer Photoshop over PaintShop Pro by far. I am only able to use PSP at home and PS at school. I bought PSP7 about 2 years ago for $90. I really would prefer to have PS though, but I don't have that kind of cash and I can't d/l it on this computer. I have PS quite simple actually, like anything else it takes practice to get the hang of.

Ah the wonderful works of Kenjeh. ^_^ I love the way you have the text, tis' so eye catchy. The love the right side but the left is disturbing. I don't like how just bit of blue is shown at the bottom of that corner, it looks uneven or something. This is uniqe. That butterfly on the K and the way the J leads off the banner is very creative. Is there anything specific in the background?

I think it needs something to fill in the space behind the text. Maybe a picture of a gun smoking faded into the background. Darkening the text would help aswell. 7/10

[SIZE=1]When I was younger I used to beat up my brother's friends. Those I didn't beat up I scared. I was a violent child. My brother, me and a few other kids around our collasack would have this contest on the asphalt and see who could stand there the longest. That stuff is like a grill in Phoenix. I always won though. ^^ Once my brother, my cousin, and me were up playeing early in the morning and we ended up taking all the food out of the refridgeratror and placing it all under the bed, everything. Then all three of us got under the bed. We had ourselves a house. We got in so much trouble over that. [/SIZE]
