[size="1"]I'm going as Chun Li tonight. I ordered the costume online, and recieved it yesterday..just in time. It came straight from Hong Kong, so it took a few weeks. The fabric is really good, I'm impressed by the quality. My boyfriend made the bracelets for me, the hair things came with the costume. The only thing I don't have are the boots so I'll have to wear my normal running shoes. There is a really authentic pair online but they're also from Hong Kong so I had no time to order them, and I didn't want to pay a lot for them. My boyfriend is Vietnamese(born and raised in the US though), he's going as a Vietcong, lol. He has a real Japanese gun he'll be taking along, plus his black Bruce Li style clothing, and wearing a rice hat. He's Vietnamese and his parents actually named him Charlie. [SIZE="1"]My brother and me drove to our mom's on friday after work, and my boyfriend(Charlie) followed on his bike. We were planning on coming home last night, we left about midnight. We were on the road for only 25 minutes when all the light in my car started getting dim, then the power steering went out. My alternator died, this would be the second time this has happened to me too. We glidded off the road on 94, in the middle of the night, in the middle of nowhere, lol. Thankfully my boyfriend was behind us, and so he whipped out his tools and did his asian thing. My mom and step dad picked us up and took us back to thier house, and we left my car there for the night. Luckily Auto Zone was open, so Charlie got the new alternator in in no time, then we piled all of our stuff back into my car and left. Now we're finally home, and my Easter plans were shot. [SIZE="1"]I've been to Japan, for two weeks in 2007, and I loved it. But I do have an interesting story, I'm not sure if I posted it on here or not. I went with a group of ninjas, a teacher at the high school I went to teaches Ninjitsu in the area(and these guys were not stealthy, or good, lol). We went to a little revolving sushi restraunt by Koshigaya station, one city away from where we were staying(very convenient). As we were riding our bikes back to our Inn I got seperated from the other guys I was with because the light changed, obviously they didn't wait for me so I was a little lost. I was riding through a crowd and a young guy stops and tries talking to me in his broken english. He said his name was Satoshi, but it was a very hard conversation because we couldn't really understand each other. What made it creepy was that he kept saying beautiful, then started touching my chest, and kissed me. He also asked if I liked sex. He was short, about my height, dressed nicely with these crazy pointy dress shoes. I'll [I]never[/I] forget that experience. The people I incountered were usually very polite, and distant, except for him. I should have taken him out, lol, but causing an international incident in Japan would have probebly given me a one way ticket home. Now everytime I'm out with a friend of mine, and I see someone with pointy shoes similar to his, she says "You like sex" loudly. [SIZE="1"]I love Easter, its one of my favorite holidays. It reminds me of what God did for us, and it reminds me that spring is finally here..which is my favorite season. When I was younger we would visit family, have egg hunts, get Easter baskets, and get our picture taken with the Easter bunny. I miss those days, but that was a long time ago. Nowadays I usually spend it with my dad, and my brother, my aunt and possibly my dad's girlfriend. We'll have the usual ham I'm assuming. My brother and I will drive to our mom's at some point to visit her as well, probably the following weekend. My dad does still try to color eggs and make us Easter baskets, lol.
