When I was about 9 I was watching Shiloh and I cryed, I tryed to hide it though. I almost cried during The Mummy Returns(which is my favorite movie, along with the first one). When Evelyn was stabbed and she was dieing. It was just so sad.. I almost cryed during a movie I saw in 8th grade about Anne Frank, it was an acual movie, not from the History channel or anything. It was just so tragic. It was at school too so I was really trying to hold that in. I almost cryed during 'The History of Trunks' too. I never noticed how emotional movies can really make you, or that there are so many that I almost cryed while watching. Benny and Joon.. I remember that movie. I saw it in 7th grade, in math for some odd rason. o_O Anyway I didn't like it, I just thought it was strange. Then again I wasn't exactly paying attention either.:o

The first game that got me hooked wasn't a Nintendo game. It was either Night Stalker or Dungeons and Dragons for Intelivision. Then Sonic 2 for Sega Genusis. The first Nintendo game I ever played was probebly Donkey Kong Country 3 for SNES. I can't quite remember..:cross:

Yeah its an awesome game! I love boarding down hills.. Ah such fun!:D

I saw it last night and I'd have to say I was pretty impressed too. This was by far better than the last Bond movie. Lots of action, which did look pretty realistic.

Yeah the majority of Freshmen at my school are into that fad aswell. Gets quite annoying. I only have my ears pierced, one in each ear. I was only one when I got them though, my mom had them done.
Originally posted by calumon_luver Im so sad that im not going to stay little forever and that everything always has to be soo kool. like i like Digimon and Sailor moon and stuff, but in my grade, thats not kool.......i really don't care but im sad that i can't express myself the way i used to. I want to be little,I want to always have Halloween and dress up i always want to have my mom their when im alone or sick or whatever, i always want my friends, the same friends that i have had for years...I don't want things to change.. Am i strange? is there anything wrong with me??Do you feel this way??
No theres absolutly nothing wrong with not wanting to grow up. I sometimes hate the fact that I am aswell. I also used to care alot about what people thought about me, but at the end of 8th grade I kind of let loose a little. Then in 9th grade I completly let loose(so to speak). I wore what I wanted too, not what other people wore. Hehe, I NEVER wear jeans anymore. My pants are comfortable andI like them like that. I got tired of the whole 'tight leg jeans' look. I also wear alot of DragonBall Z shirts(9 of them). I'm in 10th grade now and yeah I still act like a kid(technically I am;)). Although my teachers all see my mature side because I'm just like that. I've always been real quite. At home I'm loud(at times), but thats beside the point. Anyway be who you are, who you want to be! I'll still love Anime when I'm 25, hoping to be an Animation Artist(making my own Anime/Mangas)!:D -
Originally posted by Voodookanaka a lot of people know why mine...at least the people who were on back then did, it came from a whole lot of drink, drugs, insomnia and kneeling in the mud in front of a castle... no really it seriously did.
I've known you since, 'back in the day' and I never knew that.:freak:

Well I made up a DragonBall(December 2000) series of which consisted of Mirai Trunks' future life. In my story hes married and has two kids. The oldest of the two is a girl. Since Vegeta is no longer alive in the time Trunks would be the king of the Saiya-jins, therefore making his daughter the princess. The 'X' is the last letter of my seres, DragonBall X(no its not hentai). Which stands for Xtreme. So I got SaiyanPrincessX. I've used this name through all versions of Otaku and I originally registered January 2001. Before useing this name I kind of jumped around with names, nothing seemed to fit, like GohansGurl13, Ssjin_Gurl, ect. I was 13 when I made those up, man how time flies.

I've been getting good grades since I started high school which is surprising to me because all through Elementry and most of Middle school I didn't get very good grades. I have this learning "Issue" as you could say and it makes some things a little more difficult for me to learn than most people. Anyway I'm currently getting one Two "A"s, the rest "B"s(I have 6 classes). I've never had straight "A's though...:cross:
Originally posted by MathGuy2 I wouldn't be surprised at a teacher using "shut up". What really worries me is a) cursing at the teacher and b) the manner of approaching the situation. Apparently you told the teacher you didn't understand "her method". A better phrasing would be "Ma'am, I don't understand how one would use the subjunctive. I understand how to form it, but I didn't get where to use it. Could you please explain that for me?". If you have a real problem with the teacher's method in general, speak to her after the class NICELY. My friend says that his Algebra II substitute doesn't teach anything but just puts an example and assigns homework; he ought to ask the teacher "This is all new stuff for me, and I'm having trouble getting it. Could you explain it slowly for me?" I disagree with Son Goten. I just got into high school this year, and I know am on very good terms with the teachers and have quite a few rights. Being nice can get you far. If you have a positive reputation, teachers will respect you and give you enough rights. (Last year, even I was in middle school French II (didn't take it in 7th grade), I was allowed into a French III class for a few weeks to prepare for the Fr. I + II credit exams. If I had offended my teachers, either the Fr. III teacher or my PE teacher would not let me do this.)
I agree with you MathGuy2. My teachers love me,:whoops: this gives me more rights than those who argue or skip class all the time. To tell you the truth, I like school more than I used to because the teachers acually help me. Off subject question.. How are you in High school? Your 1 year younger than my brother and hes not even in HS yet.

My brother and I make up alot of weird ones. "Juice!!" -Me, Don't ask.. "8th place, its a tradition!" I said something to that effect when I first played Mario Kart 64, I was very bad at it then(sarcastic wasn't I.) "Freakin thing!!" -Me, when my computer freezes or something Thats all for now.;)

1. Where are you from? Phoenix, Arizona(Maricopa county) 2. Tell us something we should know about it. Lets see.. Phoenix is the capital, also the largest city in AZ. Arizona is considered the "Grand Canyon state" and became a state in 1912. 3. No "it's boring" or "never comes here" If you can take 110 degree wheather this is the place for you! If not, stay back.. 4. Discuss about it! From my experiance, I loved it! Although I couldn't really tell you what interesting places to visit withen Phoenix because I was young. I was usually outside playing with my younger brother and our friends. We were always outside, on our trampoline, swimming, riding bikes, sneaking up to the playground..:D I liked the heat, if we got hot we would go swimming at our friends house or play in the hose, lol. If you want to know what things to do in Arizona itself, goto the Grand Canyon. Thats a big tourist spot! I really did enjoy living there and really miss it. I moved to Ohio when I was 10 1/2(July/August 96'). Then again last year, still withen Ohio though.
Originally posted by zidane11 I was at school. One kid started laughing so everyone beat the crap out of him and didn't even get in trouble.
That happened at my school too. A boy from Afganastan started laughing and cheering and he was beaten up. After that I heard he was sent back to Afganastan.

I was in my 4/5 period, math when I first heard about it. My teacher turned on the tv and we watched it the whole period. Some kid in my class made an idiotic coment or laughed or something and my teacher blew up at him. I remember that day so clearly, and the way I felt perfectly... Its something I'll never forget. I was so scared, I was shaking really bad. We watched as they collapsed. All through out the day every single tv in the school was on, and my school is very big. When I was walking in the halls thats all you could hear. Some kids just walked out of the doors saying they didn't want to die at school. My mom picked my brother and I up from school early because she thought we might have been scared. That night I did cry, I felt bad for everyone and war. I didn't goto school the next day. My first year of high school didn't start out very good... I still feel greif for everyone who lost there lives that day, and there families but I do agree that we need to move on.
